        당뇨황반부종에서 안내 베바시주맙 치료 후 빛간섭단층촬영을 이용한 망막 혈관 직경의 변화

        Purpose: To investigate retinal vascular caliber changes with Spectral Domain OCT after intravitreal bevacizumab injection in diabetic macular edema patients Methods: Thirty-four eyes of 29 diabetic macular edema patients who were intravitreously injected with bevacizumab (1.25 g/0.05 ml) were studied. Twenty-four fellow eyes of 24 patients with bevacizumab injection were also recruited as a control group. We measured retinal vascular caliber a distance of 0.5-1 disc sizes from the disc margin with Spectral Domain OCT at baseline and 1-month and 3-month follow-up visits. Central macular thicknesses were also measured. Results: Over the 3 months of study, there was a significant reduction of arteriolar caliber compared to baseline (p = 0.024), There was significant reduction of venular caliber at 1 month (p = 0.001) and 3 months (p = 0.000) compared to baseline. Venular caliber reduction at the 3-month follow-up was significantly correlated with central macular thickness (R = 0.487, p = 0.003). Conclusions: Retinal venular caliber reduction was significant at 1- and 3-month follow-up, and arteriolar caliber reduction was significant at 3-month follow-up compared to baseline. After 3 months of treatment, venular caliber reduction was correlated with reduction of central macular thickness. J Korean Ophthalmol Soc 2012;53(2):262-267

        방사상각막신경염의 임상양상을 보인 세라티아 마르세센스 각막염 1예

        Purpose: To report a case of Serratia marcescens keratitis presenting as radial keratoneuritis. Case summary: A 15-year-old female who wore cosmetic and orthokeratology contact lenses but performed inadequate lens care visited our clinic with severe pain and visual disturbance in her left eye. On slit lamp examination, central corneal epithelial defect and stromal infiltration with radial keratoneuritis were observed. Based on clinical findings and past history, Acanthamoeba keratitis was highly suspected. The patient was treated with topical chlorhexidine 0.02% (Sigma-Aldrich Co., MO, USA) and moxifloxacin 0.5% (Vigamox<sup><font size=`2`>Ⓡ</font>, Alcon, TX, USA) per hour with 200 mg of oral itraconazol (Sporaone<sup><font size=`2`>Ⓡ</font>, LG, Seoul, Korea) once a day. Symptoms and corneal lesions did not improve after three days. After Serratia marsenscens was isolated from her contact lenses and solution, topical chlorhexidine 0.02% was discontinued, and intravenous ceftazidime (Tazime<sup><font size=`2`>Ⓡ</font>, Hanmi, Seoul, Korea) and fortified ceftazidime (50 mg/mL) eye drop was added. The corneal lesion dramatically improved, and after six months of follow-up, best-corrected visual acuity was 20/20 in the affected eye. Conclusions: Radial keratoneuritis can present not only in Acanthamoeba keratitis, but also in Serratia marsenscens keratitis. Confirmation of the isolated organism is useful when treating radial keratoneuritis. J Korean Ophthalmol Soc 2014;55(9):1380-1383

        항공기내 연료 및 오일온도 변화에 대한 수치해석적 연구

        A transient analysis on temperatures of fuel and oil in hydraulic and lubrication systems in an aircraft was studied using the finite difference method. Numerical calculation was performed by an explicit method with modified Dufort-Frankel scheme. Among various missions, air superiority mission was considered as a mission model with 20% hot day ambient condition in subsonic region. The ambience of the aircraft was assumed as turbulent flow. Convective heat transfer coefficient were used in calculating heat transfer between the aircraft surface and the ambience. For an aircraft on the ground, an empirical equation represented as a function of free-stream air velocity was used. And the heat transfer coefficient for flat plate turbulent flow suggested by Eckert was employed for in-flight phases. The governing equations used in this analysis are the mass and energy conservation equations on fuel and oils. Here, analysis of fuel and oil temperature in the engine was not carried out. As a result of this analysis, the ground operation phase has shown the highest temperature and the largest rate of temperature increase among overall mission phases. Also, it is shown that fuel flow rate through fuel/oil heat exchanger plays an important role in temperature change of fuel and oil. This analysis could be an important part of studies to ensure thermal stability of the aircraft and can be applicable to thermal design of the aircraft fuel system.

      • 보수 이론을 이용한 32비트 파이프라인 캐리 선택 가산기

        캐리 선택 가산기에 파이프라인을 적용하면 적은 수의 파이프라인 스테이지를 가지면서 많은 수의 파이프라인 스테이지를 갖는 가산기처럼 높은 주파수 상에서 구동한다. 이 논문에서는 캐리 선택 가산기 구조를 적용한 4 블록 5스테이지 파이프라인 32비트 가산기를 제안하였다. 이 제안된 가산기는 기존의 16스테이지 파이프라인 32비트 가산기와 같이 높은 주파수에서 동작한다. 그럼에도 불구하고 이 제안된 가산기는 기존 16 스테이지 파이프라인 가산기 보다 3배 적은 트랜지스터로 구현 가능하다. 이 가산기는 0.25um CMOS 공정으로 구현할 때 2.5V전압에서 1.67GHz으로 동작한다. Using the carry-select adder scheme, an adder with small number of stages can be operated as fast as an adder with large number of stages. In this paper, a 4-block 5-stage 32-bit pipelined carry-select adder is designed and implemented. The proposed adder operates as fast as a conventional 16-stage 32-bit pipelined adder while the number of registers required is nearly same as a conventional 4-stage pipelined adder. This adder is operated at 1.67GHz clock frequency in a standard 0.25um CMOS technology with 2.5 V supply voltage.

        폴리에틸렌글리콜의 분자량이 공중합 폴리에스터의 열적 특성 및 알칼리 가수분해에 미치는 영향

        Copolyesters containing sodium sulfonate group and poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG) were synthesized with various molecular weight of PEG. The selected molecular weights of PEG were 1000, 2000, 4000, 6000, and 16000. The thermal properties and the crystallization behaviors of the copolyesters were investigated by using differential scanning calorimeter (DSC). Alkaline hydrolysis of the copolyesters was studied as a function of the treatment time. The melting temperatures and the heats of fusion of the copolyesters increased with an increase in the PEG molecular weight, while the weight reduction rate of copolyesters in an alkaline solution decreased with an increase in the PEG molecular weight. At the same PEG content in copolyesters, hard segment length increases with the PEG molecular weight, which was thought to be the most important factor that determines the thermal properties and the alkaline hydrolysis behavior.

        Evaluation of Dental Terminology System Using GRAIL: A Pilot Study

        본 연구는, 기존의 나열식 분류체계의 문제점을 극복할 수 있는 GRAIL을 이용하여 두경부의 해부학적 구조물들 및 구강 악안면 영역의 주요 질병들과 관련된 치의학 개념들의 모델을 구축한 뒤, 완성된 치의학 개념 모델이 두경부의 해부학적 구조물들 및 구강 악안면 영역의 주요 질병들을 잘 표현할 수 있는지와 기존의 GRAIL 모델이 지닌 특징에 잘 부합하는지를 평가하고자 시행되었다. 서울대학교 치과병원 내원 환자 중 포괄적인 치과 치료 병력을 지닌 환자 150명의 치과 의무기록을 내용별로 분석하고, 각종 치의학 교과서와 기존의 의학용어 분류체계에서도 모델 구축에 필요한 치의학 용어를 선택하였다. 이들 자료를 바탕으로, GRAIL 모델 구축을 진행하고 구축된 모델을 평가할 수 있는 소프트웨어 프로그램인 'KnoME'에서 치의학 개념 모델을 구축하고 평가하여, 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 1. 환자 150명의 치과 의무기록을 내용별로 분석한 결과, 우선적으로 모델 구축이 필요한 치의학 용어로는, 해부학적 구조물의 경우 치아, 치은, 악관절, 입술, 턱, 혀 등의 순서로 나타났으며, 구강악안면 영역의 병소에서는 치아 우식증, 치주염, 치은염, 악관절 장애, 매복 지치, 치경부 마모 등의 순서로 나타났다. 2. GRAIL을 이용하여 치아, 치주조직, 구강점막조직, 치아 우식증, 치수 및 치근단 병소, 치주질환, 구강점막질환의 모델 구축을 시행한 결과, 치의학 개념간의 다양한 관계가 대다수 잘 표현되었다. 그러나, 구강 악안면 영역의 해부학적 구조물에 대한 공간 정의의 한계성과 구강 악안면 질환의 진행 양상에 있어서 표현의 어려움이 관찰되었다. 이러한 부분은 GRAIL을 치의학 분야에 적용할 때, 극복해야 할 한계로 나타났다. 3. 치의학 개념들에 관한 다양한 질의를 시행한 후 그 응답 내용을 평가한 결과, 완성된 모델 내에서 치의학 개념의 자동적인 분류가 이루어 졌으며, 다양한 목적의 검색이 가능하였다. 이와 같은 사실로 미루어 보아서, 완성된 모델은 기존의 GRAIL 모델의 특성에 잘 부합되는 것으로 생각되었다.

        양극 벗김 전압전류법 (Anodic stripping voltammetry: ASV)을 이용한 인체 타액 내 납과 카드뮴의 검출: 예비 연구

        The aim of this study was to evaluate the differences of salivary lead (Pb) and cadmium (Cd) concentrations, using ASV analysis, after various pre-treatment procedures. 10 unstimulated whole saliva samples of non-exposed subjects to Pb and Cd were collected. Each sample was divided into 6 aliquots and centrifugation was performed in only 3 aliquots. After centrifugation, 3 different types of pre-treatment procedures were carried out. Also, these pre-treatment procedures were carried out for another 3 aliquots, without centrifugation. Pre-treated aliquots were analyzed electrochemically, by ASV. The results are as follows: 1. Mean concentration of Pb in saliva after centrifugation was significantly higher than that of non-centrifugation. 2. In the detection sensitivity of Pb in saliva, those of simple dilution technique by HCl and acid digestion technique by nitric acid were significantly higher than that of simple dilution technique by electrolyte. 3. Mean concentration of Cd in saliva after centrifugation was significantly higher than that of non-centrifugation. 4. In the detection sensitivity of Cd in saliva, those of simple dilution technique by HCl and acid digestion technique by nitric acid were higher than that of simple dilution technique by electrolyte. But, there were no significant differences between them.

        The Educational Ministry of Friars in the Late Medieval Europe: Focus on the Ministry of The Dominican Order

        본 연구의 목적은 중세 후기 탁발 수도자들, 도미니칸 수도자들을 중심으로 그들의 삶과 교육목회가 성직자와 평신도들에게 끼친 영향을 탐구하는 것이다. 탁발 수도자들의 사도적 삶과 탁월한 교육목회는 거룩한 진리를 갈망하던 평신도들의 믿음의 성장에 크게 기여하였다. 특별히 도미니칸 수도자들이 가르친 정통 기독교 교리와 논리적 논쟁을 통하여 카타리파와 같은 이단들의 개종에 기여하였다. 또한, 탁발 수도자의 목회는 중세교회의 성직자들로 하여금 교회의 본질에 대한 바른 이해와 사도적 소명의식을 굳게 하였다. 끝으로, 탁발 수도자들의 교육 목회는 중세 교회 성직자들이 설교자, 교사, 영혼의 치유자, 그리고 고해 신부의 역할을 감당하는데 큰 도움이 되었다. The aim of this research article is to investigate the life and educational ministry of friars, focusing on the Dominican friars, along with its influence on parish priests and laymen during late middle Ages. The friars' apostolic life and competent teaching ministry greatly contributed to the faith formation of the laity who desperately sought out sacred truth. In particular, the Dominican friars' teaching of orthodox theology and logical argument gave rise to the conversion of some heretics, including Cathars. In addition, their ministry helped parish priests maintain hold on the essence of the church and their apostolic vocation. Finally, the friars' educational ministry played a significant role in enabling the parish priests to take their responsibilities as confessors, teachers, preachers, and healers of souls.
