Recently, $TiO_2$ nanotubes have considerably researched because of their novel application about photocatalysis, dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs), lithium ion battery, etc. In this work, self-standing $TiO_2$ nanotube arrays were fabricated by anodic oxidation method using pure Ti foil as a working electrode in ethylene glycole with 0.3M $NH_4F$ + $2%H_2O$. Growth behavior of $TiO_2$ nanotube arrays was compared according to temperature, voltage and time. The morphology, structure and crystalline of anodized $TiO_2$ nanotube arrays were observed by FE-SEM (field emission scanning electron microscope) and XRD (X-ray diffraction).

Background: Twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome (TTTS) is a serious complication of monochorionic twin pregnancies. It results from disproportionate blood supply to each fetus caused by abnormal vascular anastomosis within the placenta. Amniotic fluid (AF) is an indicator reflecting the various conditions of the fetus, and an imbalance in AF volume is essential for the antenatal diagnosis of TTTS by ultrasound. In this study, two different mass spectrometry quantitative approaches were performed to identify differentially expressed proteins (DEPs) within matched pairs of AF samples. Methods: We characterized the AF proteome in pooled AF samples collected from donor and recipient twin pairs (n = 5 each) with TTTS by a global proteomics profiling approach and then preformed the statistical analysis to determine the DEPs between the two groups. Next, we carried out a targeted proteomic approach (multiple reaction monitoring) with DEPs to achieve high-confident TTTS-associated AF proteins. Results: A total of 103 AF proteins that were significantly altered in their abundances between donor and recipient fetuses. The majority of upregulated proteins identified in the recipient twins (including carbonic anhydrase 1, fibrinogen alpha chain, aminopeptidase N, alpha-fetoprotein, fibrinogen gamma chain, and basement membrane-specific heparan sulfate proteoglycan core protein) have been associated with cardiac or dermatologic disease, which is often seen in recipient twins as a result of volume overload. In contrast, proteins significantly upregulated in AF collected from donor twins (including IgGFc-binding protein, apolipoprotein C-I, complement C1q subcomponent subunit B, apolipoprotein C-III, apolipoprotein A-II, decorin, alpha-2-macroglobulin, apolipoprotein A-I, and fibronectin) were those previously shown to be associated with inflammation, ischemic cardiovascular complications or renal disease. Conclusion: In this study, we identified proteomic biomarkers in AF collected from donor and recipient twins in pregnancies complicated by TTTS that appear to reflect underlying functional and pathophysiological challenges faced by each of the fetuses.
『동의수세보원사상초본권(東醫壽世保元四象草本卷)』에서의 양생(養生)에 관(關)한 고찰(考察)

1. 연구목적 "동의수세보원사상초본권"의 내용 중에서 무병장수(無病長壽)를 하기 위한 양생(養生)은 어떠한 방법들이 있는가 조사해 보았다. 2. 방법 "동의수세보원사상초본권"에 기재된 글 중에서 예방적 사고방식 및 올바른 생활습관에 관하여 서술된 내용을 고찰하였다. 3. 결과 (1) 섭생(攝生)과 정신적 안정이 약(藥)보다 중요하니 조양(調養)하여 본상지기(本常之氣)를 50%이상(以上) 올려놓아 자발적으로 나아지려고 하는 항병력(抗病力)을 도와주면 병(病)을 관리하는 정신으로 편소지장(偏小之臟)의 취약점을 극복할 수 있으니 약(藥)의 중용(中庸)이 필요하다. 2) 주색(酒色)과 사노교착(思盧膠着)이 병(病)의 원인이 되므로 주색재권(酒色財權)의 중용(中庸), 성정(性情)의 중용(中庸), 인사(人事)의 능(能) 부능(不能)의 중용(中庸)을 통한 사상인(四象人)의 건강유지 방법과 치료정신을 제시하였다. 3) 자폭자엽(自暴自葉)하지 않고 주어진 여건에서 최선을 다하려는 긍정적인 자세와 희노애락(喜怒哀樂)을 중(中)과 절(節)에 맞춰서 크게 어긋나지 않게 노력하고 안빈락도(安貧樂道)하고 극기(克己)하는 생활속에서 복(壽)과 수(壽)를 누릴 수 있다. 4) 일반론적(一般論的) 지행(知行)으로서의 명지성행(明知誠行)보다 체질론적(體質論的) 지행(知行)으로서의 선사경행(善思敬行)으로 이기해물(利己害物)되지 않게 호심술(好心術)을 발휘하여 살아가는 것이 득수(得數)의 요인이 된다. Purpose This study is carried out to investigate the way of preservation of health. Method I studied the archives of the preventive way of thinking and upright habit of life expressed in the Dongyi Suse Bowon Sasang Chobonguen Result & Conclusion 1. For taking car of one's health and keeping quiet of emotion is more important than drug, we have to be cautious in extravagant use of drug. 2. For the preservation of health, it is recommended to observe moderation in liquor, sex, property, authority and discretion. 3. It is necessary for a man to do his best and to control emotion. 4. It had better engage in philanthropy than egoism.
포중익기탕(補中益氣湯)이 알레르기 비염(鼻炎) 유발 마우스에 미치는 효과(效果)

Objectives: Maier symptoms of allergic rhinitis are nasal obstructions, sneezing and watery rhinorrhea. When exposed to certain allergens, the IgE covered mast cells degranulate and release inflammatory mediators and cytokines which result in a local inflammatory reaction. In many recent studies, molecular biological methods have been used to investigate the role of cytokines in pathogenesis and new therapeutic targets of allergic rhinitis. This experimental study was done to reveal the effects of the Bojungikgi-tang on the allergic rhinitis. We have studied effect of mice on OVA-induced production of IL-4, IL-5, $INF-{\gamma}$ by murine splenocytes and effect of OVA-induced Total IgE and OVA-specific IgE Meterial and Metheds: 21 BALB/c rats were divided into three groups: normal group, control group, experimental group. To induce the allergic rhinitis in control group and experimental group, rats were sentitized intraperitioneally with 0.1% ovalbumin solution 3 times at intervals of 2 weeks. Then intranasal sensitization was performed by diffusing 0.1% ovalbumin solution 3 times at intervals of 2 days for a week. After that time, rats in experimental group were oral administration treated by the Bojuogikgi-tang fer 28 days. We observed changes of IL-4, IL-5, $INF-{\gamma}$, Total IgE and OVA-specific IgE. We used independent-test statistically. Results: 1. In IL-4 study, Bojungikgi-tang treated group didn't show significant differences. 2. In IL-5 study, Bojungikgi-tang treated group shows significant differences. 3. In $INF-{\gamma}$ study, Bojungikgi-tang treated group shows significant differences. 4. In Total IgE, Bojungikgi-tang treated group shows significant differences. 5. In OVA-specific IgE, Bojungikgi-tang treated group didn't show significant differences. According to this result, Bojungikgi-tang was concluded to be effective on lowering the total IgE. Through this. Bojungikgi tang seems to reduce the symptoms of allergic rhinitis. More studies are required to know exact mechanism of Bojungikgi tang to show the anti allergenic effect.

Self-standing $TiO_2$ nanotube arrays were fabricated by potentiostatic anodic oxidation method using pure Ti foil as a working electrode and ethylene glycol solution as electrolytes with small addition of $NH_4F$ and $H_2O$. The influences of anodization temperature and time on the morphology and formation of $TiO_2$ nanotube arrays were investigated. The fabricated $TiO_2$ nanotube arrays were applied as a photoelectrode to dye-sensitized solar cells. Regardless of anodizing temperature and time, the average diameter and wall thickness of $TiO_2$ nanotube show a similar value, whereas the thickness show a different trend with reaction temperature. The thickness of $TiO_2$ nanotube arrays anodized at $20^{\circ}C$ and $30^{\circ}C$ was time-dependent, but on the other hand its at $10^{\circ}C$ are independent of anodization time. The conversion efficiency is low, which is due to a morphology breaking of the $TiO_2$ nanotube arrays in manufacturing process of photoelectrode.
염담수(鹽膽水)(간수)의 이뇨(利尿) 항부종(抗浮腫) 및 해열효과(解熱效果)에 관(關)한 실험적(實驗的) 연구(硏究)

To observe the diuretic action in mice, the anti-inflammatory action by carrageenin method and the anti-pyretic action by yeast method in rats, the Bittern was administered. Diuretic effort of Bittern was studied by measuring the urine flow, sodium, potassium in urinary excretion. The results in this work were summarized as follows: 1. The Bittern showed significant diuretic action. 2. The Bittern showed significant anti-inflammatory effect. 3. The Bittern showed significant anti-pyretic effect. According to the above results, the Bittern seems to be applicable to the treatment of edema.
