      • 태권도와 걷기 운동이 비만여성의 신체구성 및 골밀도에 미치는 영향

        본 연구의 목적은 비만 중년여성을 대상으로 12주간 태권도와 걷기 운동이 중년 비만여성의 신체구성과 골밀도에 미치는 영향을 규명하는데 있다. 본 연구는 34∼40세의 체지방률 30% 이상인 성인 비만여성 43명을 대상으로 태권도 운동 집단 15명과 걷기 운동집단 15명 그리고 운동을 실시하지 않은 통제 집단 13명으로 구성하였고 태권도 운동과 걷기 운동은 일일 60분, 주 4∼5회, 그리고 12주간 실시하였으며, 그 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 신체구성은 체지방률, 체중, 허리, WHR에서 집단과 시기의 상호작용이 유의하게 나타났고, 태권도 운동 집단은 체지방률, 체중, 허리, WHR에서 유의한 향상이 나타났고, 걷기 운동 집단은 체중, 허리, WHR에서 유의한 향상이 나타났다. 골밀도 수준의 경우 요추부와 대퇴부의 BMD와 BMC에서 집단과 시기의 상호작용이 나타나지 않았다. 대퇴부의 BMD 요인은 걷기운동 집단의 경우 통계적으로 매우 유의하였고(p<.01), 통계분석 결과 집단 및 시기의 주효과가 나타났다(p<.001). 대퇴부의 BMC요인은 통계분석 결과 집단 간의 주효과가 나타났다(p<.05). 결론적으로 12주간의 태권도와 걷기 운동 프로그램이 30대 비만여성의 신체구성 변인의 개선에 긍정적인 효과가 있음을 알 수 있었으나, 골밀도 변인에는 통계적으로 유의한 변화가 없었다. 향후 비만의 치료를 위한 식이요법과 골밀도의 향상을 위해 운동기간 연장과 중량 운동을 병행하면 더욱 효과적일 것으로 판단된다. The purpose of the dissertation is to identify effects of Taekwondo exercise and walking exercise on body composition and bone mineral density of obese adult women, and to create effective Taekwondo programs and a model for excercise therapies. The subjects consisted of three groups, Taekwondo group of 15 women, a walking group of 15 women, and a control group of 13 women. They were scheduled to work out 60 minutes a day, five times a week for 12 weeks with a level of HRmax 50∼70%. The difference of body composition and bone density in each group before or after the program, and interactive effects of the groups and the tests were examined using RMD two-way ANOVA. 12 weeks of the interactive programs of Taekwondo and walking groups were significantly effective in reducing body fat and weight. As to body fat, walking and control groups did not show significant reduction whereas the Taekwondo made a significantly difference. Regarding bone density, no significant interactive effects were generated in lumbar spine while significant increase was found in proximal femur bone mineral density, BMC, and T-score. Especially, a major difference in BMD was shown for walking group between and after the test. In conclusion, the dissertation suggests that 12 weeks of Taekwondo exercise has a positive effect on control of body composition. On the contrary, it also indicates that frequency, intensity and duration of exercise did not elevate mineral density of obese adult women sufficiently.

        운동선수의 ACE 유전자 다형성과 심폐지구력

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the relevance on ACE gene and cardiopulmonary. This study employed 46 Korean elite college sports playes were composed of 20 men`s and 14 women`s soccer players and 12 women in field hockey team. They train almost same condition ore than 5 years. They were checked through GXT and blood PCR methods in VO_2max, HRmax AT and ACE gene type in polymorphism. After the check, they were divided into two groups by each data as higher and lower physical performance groups . The conclusions were as follows; 1. There were no significant differences in each distribution of genotype. 2. Ⅱ group of men and ID group of women are most higher in VO_2max. But there is no significant difference among groups. 3. Ⅱ group of men and women are inferior in AT of each gender and ACE gene. 4. In comparison with a inferior group, a superior Ⅱ group indicates high distribution in low and high group genotype distribution of men`s VO_2max and a superior group shows low distribution in DD genotype. 5. There is no correlation between every variation and significant difference in genotype and cardiopulmonary capacity. 6. There is no significant difference statistically in low and high genotype distribution of VO_2max, HRmax, AT in elite athletes.

        보기익혈 복합방, 바이오 큐의 면역조절 효과

        Bio-Q is a modified prescription with the activities of supplementing Qi and blood in human body. In the present study, immunomodulatory effect of Bio-Q was examined. After oral administration of Bio-Q for 7 days to Balb/c mice, splenocytes were isolated and immunological experiments were performed. Bio-Q significantly increased the proliferation of splenocytes exposed to concanavalin A (Con A), while it did not in case of lipopolysaccharide (LPS) stimulation. Bio-Q also significantly increased CD3/CD19, CD4/CDB and NK cells by flow cytometric analysis. In addition, Bio-Q significantly enhanced the level of $INF-\gamma$ in splenocytes, but not $TNF-\alpha$ by ELISA. These results strongly suggest that Bio-Q has immunomodulatory activity through the regulation of T cell mediated immune pathway.

        Effects of Non-Contact Corrective Exercise Continuum for 12 Weeks on Postural Imbalance in Adults

        [OBJECTIVES] This study was to examine the effect of the 12-week video-based non-contact corrective exercise continuum (CEC) program on the forward head posture, central asymmetry, varus and valgus knees for men and women with postural imbalance. [METHODS] Subjects were recruited openly by the Internet community and measured their posture with a 3D whole body scanner (Medicube WS-210, Korea), and then classified into exercise group (n=32, EG) and control group (n=32, CG). Total subjects were classified into forward head posture exercise group (n=8), central asymmetry exercise group (n=8), varus exercise group (n=8), valgus exercise group and each control group (n=8). For the non-contact home training, 12 weeks of 30 minutes/day, 3 times/week, corrective exercise continuum were conducted. The CEC program is an effective treatment to correct the anatomical alignment of the extremities as suggested by the National Academy of Sports Medicine. [RESULTS] As a result, the distance between the centers according to the forward head posture CEC program in EG, the angle of spinal inclination of the cervical and thoracic vertebrae, and central asymmetry were lowered (p<.05). Body shape distribution balance and shoulder tilt angle were lowered in EG according to the central asymmetry CEC program (p <.05). According to the varus CEC program in EG, the distance between the center of the knee, the tilt angle of the femur and tibia, and body shape distribution were lowered (p <.05). According to the valgus CEC program in EG, the distance between the center of the knee increased, and the tilt angle of the femur and tibia decreased (p<.05). [CONCLUSIONS] The effect of improving the anterior head posture, central asymmetry, varus and valgus knees of postural imbalance according to the CEC program was confirmed. It is thought that the CEC program can restore optimal neuromuscular control by restoring proper joint kinematics and restore posture and balance by reducing the observed muscle tension.

        운동 트레이닝과 카이로프랙틱의 복합처치가 전방 머리 자세와 거북목 대상자의 악력과 경추부 근력에 미치는 영향

        PURPOSE: Forward head posture and turtle neck are common musculoskeletal disorders of the cervical vertebrae. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of combined exercise training and chiropractic on the grip strength and cervical muscle strength of subjects with forward head posture and turtle neck. METHODS: The subjects were divided into two groups: forward head posture (n=9) and turtle neck (n=9). Both groups performed combined exercise training and chiropractic. The subjects were instructed about the exercise training once a week. This training was performed for 30 minutes every day for 8 weeks, and the chiropractic was performed for 15 minutes once a week. The cervical muscle strength and grip strength were measured. Two-way repeated measured ANOVA was performed for statistical analysis. RESULTS: In changes to the left grip strength, the main effect over time was significant, but the interaction effect and the main effect in the groups were not significant. In changes to the right grip strength, no difference was found to be statistically significant. In changes to the cervical muscle strength, no difference was found to be statistically significant. CONCLUSION: The increases of grips strengths and cervical muscle strength in forward head posture group were greater than turtle neck group but there were not found to be statistically significant.

        노인의 운동참여 정도에 따른 주관적 건강상태와 우울 및 삶의 만족도 간의 관계

        The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between subjective health status, depression, and life satisfaction of the elderly and to examine whether there is a difference between the groups according to the degree of exercise participation of the elderly. Using the microdata of the elderly people surveyed in 2014 conducted by the Ministry of Health and Welfare, we extracted the subjects related to the main variables of this study. The final 6,326 persons were used for analysis. As a result, the results were obtained. First, subjective health status, depression, and life satisfaction of the elderly are significant causal factors in all pathways. Second, the degree of exercise participation in the elderly has a moderating effect on the way of subjective health status to depression level, and the higher the subjective health status, the more depressed level.

        체력 측정과 운동처방을 위한 통합형 체력검사 기기의 신뢰도 검증

        The purpose of this study was to compare the measurement values obtained using integrated type fitness testing instrument and individual testing instruments and determine the reliability of integrated type fitness testing instrument. Sixty-six subjects consisting of 38 males and 28 females were volunteered to participate for the study. The subjects were tested for weight, percent body fat, grip strength, muscle endurance, agility, power, and cardiorespiratory endurance with two types of testing instrument separately. All subjects were undertaken exercise tests with the both of integrated instrument and individual instrument tests at an interval of less than seven days. Percent body fat was measured using bioimpedance method for both test. VO(2)max was determined with GXT using bicycle ergometer tests. The work load increased 15watts in every minute for subjects to the exhaustion. VO(2)max from the integrated instrument was also estimated with regression equation programmed for heart rate of submaximal work load. The data was analyzed with descriptive statistics, t-test, intraclass ccorrelation coefficient, and Pearson correlation coefficient using SPSS. The results showed that there was no significant differences between two testing methods except percent body fat, right hand grip strength, and VO(2)max of male and female subjects. The Peason correlation coefficient revealed that significant relationships exist between the test scores of two different testing methods. The significant intraclass coefficient correlation reliability was also observed from integrate type fitness instrument.
