        원발성 대장림프종의 대장내시경 경험 3예

        Primary colonic lymphoma is a rare disease and open surgical biopsy is usually necessary for hietological confirmation. Despite the submucosal location of the tumors, histological confirmation is frequently made by endoscopic multiple punch biopsies. Recently, three patients were admitted to the hospital with right lower guadrant abdominal pain, mass and abnormalities in the right colon and cecum on the barium enema. We performed colonoscopy and found smooth surfaced polypoid mass with occasional shallow ulcerations without lobulation, so suspected lymphoma endoscopically but failed to confirm histologieal diagnosis by usual punch biopsy. Thereafter, all three cases were undergone to laparntomies, and two were confirmed to be non-Hodgkins lymphoma and the other was Hodgkins disease. Here, we present those three cases of endoscopically found colonic lymphoma with review of literatures.

        갑상선세침흡인검사에 의한 갑상선 조직 및 말초혈액의 시토킨 발현과 말초혈액 단핵구의 인터페론 감마 생성에 관한 연구

        Cytokine production was studied in thyroid fine needle aspirates and peripheral blood and the production of interferon-gamma by peripheral blood mononuclear cell(PBMC) culture in response to interleukin-2(IL-2) stimulation was also studied from patients with hyperthyroidism, non toxic goiter, thyroid nodule. The expression of glycer aldehyde 3-phosphate dehydrogenase(GAPDH), interleukin-1beta(IL-1beta), IL-2, interleukin-8(IL-8), platelet- derived growth factor-A(PDGF-A) and interferon-gamma(IFN-gamma) chain was assessed by RT-PCR(reverse transcriptase polymerase chain reaction) in fine needle aspirates of thyroid and peripheral blood mononuclear cell : the samples were obtained from 7 patients with hyperthyroidism, 6 patients with non toxic goiter, 7 patients with thyroid nodule. A dose of IL-2(25 U/ml) was utilized to induce IFN-gamma production by PBMC from all patients. The results were as follows: 1) In case of cytokine expression of fine-needle aspirates, GAPDH and IL-1beta, IL-8 were expressed highly but IFN-gamma, IL-2 were not expressed in hyperthyroidism and non-toxic goiter, thyroid nodule. PDGF-A was expressed in hyperthyroidism and thyroid nodule but not in non toxic goiter. 2) In case of cytokine expression of PBMC, GAPDH, IL-1beta were expressed in hyperthyroidism and non toxic goiter, thyroid nodule and highly expressed after IL-2 stimulation than before. But PDGF-A was more expressed in non toxic goiter and thyroid nodule than hyperthyroidism. Also, IFN-gamma was less expressed in thyroid nodule than hyperthyroidism and non toxic goiter. 3) The incremental increase in IFN-gamma value in supernatants of PBMC culture was significantly higher in patients with non toxic goiter than that in PBMC from hyperthyroidism and thyroid nodule(p$lt;0.05). Therefore it seems that the cytokine production was found in hyperthyroidism and non toxic goiter and thyroid nodule. There were variability in their distribution each other, in general, higher expressed in hyperthyroidism than non toxic goiter. And RT-PCR Method that employed should be sufficiently sensitive to permit the analysis of cytokine gene expression in fine needle aspiration biopsies from patients with thyroid disease(J Kor Soc Endocrinol 10: 13-25, 1995)

        AR 코팅된 DFB 레이저에서 격자 위상의 영향

        본 연구에서는 1.55um의 파장을 갖는 DFB 레이저에서 굴절률 격자와 이득 격자가 동시에 존재할 때, 오른쪽 거울 면에 반사가 일어나지 않도록 유전막 코팅을 하여 𝜌<sub>r</sub>=0 이 되도록 하였다. 𝛿L>0인 경우일 때, 발진 모드에 대하여, 발진 주파수와 발진 이득의 특성을 해석했다. 좌측 거울면의 격자 위상이 𝜋에서부터 𝜋/2 계속 감소할 때, 각 모드의 그래프 선들이 좌측으로 조금씩 이동한다. 발진 모드의 문턱 이득이 가장 낮은 경우는 𝜅L=10인 경우이고, 이때 모드 선별성은 상대적으로 낮다. 모드 선별성이 우수한 경우는 𝜅L=0.5에서부터 𝜅L=6 정도까지이고, 이 경우 주파수 안정성이 우수하다. 두 개의 벽개면을 갖는 경우와 비교하면, 한 개의 무반사면을 갖는 경우, 발진 모드의 문턱 이득이 증가하지만 모드 선별성은 2배 정도 더 우수해 진다. In this paper, when a refractive index grating and a gain grating were simultaneously present in a DFB laser having a wavelength of 1.55 ㎛, a dielectric film coating was applied so that reflection did not occur on the right mirror surface, so that 𝜌<sub>r</sub>=0. In case of 𝛿L>0, the characteristics of the oscillation frequency and oscillation gain were analyzed. When the grating phase of the left mirror surface continues to decrease from 𝜋, the graph lines of each mode gradually shift to the left. In case of 𝜅L=10, the threshold gain of the oscillation mode is the lowest. In this case, the mode selectivity is relatively low. From 𝜅L=0.5 to 𝜅L=6, the mode selectivity and the frequency stability are excellent. In the case of DFB lasers with an anti-reflection coated mirror, the threshold gain of the oscillation mode increases but the mode selectivity is about twice as excellent, compared with DFB lasers of having two cleaved facets.

        중국 문화체제개혁의 형성과 구조적 특징

        This article aims at examining the formation and structural characteristics of the cultural system reform in China implemented on a full scale after the turn of the 21st century. It assumes that since the Chinese economic reform, the change of understanding of the Chinese government over the path of cultural development played a key role in defining the direction and contents of cultural system reform, which was resulted from multiple factors, to be specific, such as the formation and growth of cultural market in China since the 1990s, the influx of cultural products from advanced capitalist countries in the currents of global capitalization and the ensuing crisis of cultural identity, and the need of soft power strengthening in response to economic development and balanced regional development. To specify the characteristics of the cultural system reform in China implemented on a full scale from 2002: First, in the dimension of the subject of reform, it was conducted focusing on three sectors, in cultural undertakings, cultural industries, and cultural institutions. Second, in the dimension of the direction of reform, the existing cultural units had to go through the restructuring process. In other words, the key to reform in this dimension was that the units belonging to cultural undertakings were reset in the direction of improving managerial efficiency,while the units belonging to cultural industries, in the direction of transforming into a form of business organization. Third, in the dimension of method and instrument of reform, the Chinese government established a higher organization to command the reform, and actively made use of policy measures such as the tax services, financial companies, and state firms. And, these characteristics of cultural system reform takes on a pattern quite similar to that in the period of economic development the Chinese government adopted, especially for the promotion of strategic industries. If it's proper or not to apply a formula contrived for economic system reform to cultural system reform may be put up for debate. But it is clear that it worked efficiently at least in the early stage of the Chinese government's schedule. The problem is the challenges to come after the reform, that is, in relation with 'development'. In other words, it remains to be seen what influence the cultural system reform conducted during the past ten years will affect cultural development hereafter and what policy change the Chinese government will go through at the juncture of transition from reform to development. A comprehensive appraisal of the cultural system reform in China with all these points considered will be more objective as well.

        식각된 LED의 식각 깊이와 식각 각도가 광 추출 효율에 미치는 영향

        The effects of electrode absorption in a TIP (truncated inverted pyramid) LED (light-emitting diode) and of the etch depth and the etch angle of an etched LED on the light extraction efficiency have been studied. TIP LED may have a 100% light extraction efficiency if no loss occurs in the medium, but when absorption occurs at the electrode, the light extraction efficiency decreases rapidly and is highest when the height of the active region is located at the center of the two electrodes. In the case of the etched LED, when the etch depth exceeds 36% of the chip thickness, the effect of increasing the light escape cone becomes dominant. If the light absorption coefficient of the chip material is zero, the light extraction efficiency approaches 100% when the etch angle exceeds 20 degrees. Even for a loss of = 5 [cm 1] inside the chip, the effect of increasing the light escape cone becomes dominant when the etch angle exceeds 20 degrees. 역피라미드(TIP, Truncated Inverted Pyramid) LED(Light Emitting Diode)의 전극 흡수가 광 추출효율에 미치는 영향과, 식각된 LED(Light Emitting Diode)의 식각 깊이와 식각 각도가 광 추출 효율에미치는 영향을 조사하였다. 역피라미드(TIP) LED는 매질의 손실이 없다면 100%의 광 추출 효율을 가질수 있지만, 전극에서 흡수가 일어나는 경우, 광 추출 효율은 급속히 감소하며 활성층의 높이가 두 전극의 정중앙에 위치할 때 광 추출 효율이 가장 높다. 식각된 LED의 경우 식각 깊이가 칩 두께의 36%를 넘어서면 광탈출 원뿔이 증가하는 효과가 두드러지게 나타나기 시작한다. 칩 구성 물질의 광흡수 계수가 = 0 [cm 1] 인 경우 식각 각도가 20도를 넘어서면 광 추출 효율이 100%에 가까워진다. 칩 내부에 손실이 있는 = 5 [cm 1]인 경우에도, 식각 각도가 20도를 넘어서면 광 탈출 원뿔이 증가하는 효과가 두드러지기 시작한다.
