단순언어장애(specific language impairment; SLI) 대상자를 위한 보완대체 언어치료장치 개발

1. 목 적 언어란 소리와 의미를 맺는 규칙체계로써 한 언어 공동체가 임의적으로 사용하는 체계이며 타인과의 관계를 형성하고 다양한 목적을 달성하기 위한 수단을 말한다. 이와 같이 언어는 일상생활에 중요한 요소로 언어장애가 있는 아이들을 care 및 교육시킬 수 있는 장치가 필요하다. 한편, 언어장애는 단순언어장애(specific language impairment; SU)와 정신지체, 자폐, 뇌성마비, 청각장애 등으로 분류된다. 단순언어장애(SLI)는 표준화검사 표준편차 -1.25이하 수행력으로 또래와의 사회생활이 어려움을 가지는 것으로 언어 외에 인지, 정서, 사회 운동감각의 어려움이 없는 상태를 말한다. SLI는 인지가 가능한 상태임에 반복적으로 언어의 표현을 학습하여 줄 경우 치료가 가능하다. 특정 질병이 아닌, 사회성을 키우는 단계에서 미는 발생될 수 있으며 많은 아이들이 겪고 있는 상황이다. 또한, SLI 장애 아이의 경우, 일반 아이들과 똑같은 교육을 받기 때문에 의사표현에 있어 교육자와 어려움이 있을 수 있다. 이에 본 팀은 SLI는 그림의 인지가 가능함으로 SLI 장애 아이들이 본인의 의사 표현을 할 수 있는 도구를 개발하여, SLI장애 아이들에게는 반복적 청취와 교육자에게는 SLI학생이 표현하는 것이 무엇을 의미하는 것인지 알려주기 위한 장치를 개발하였다. 2. 개발 작품 개발 작품은 DF Player mini의 모듈을 이용하여 음성인식 후, 원하는 표현이 되도록 구현한 것으로, SLI 장애학생 본인의 의사를 표현하는데 있어 인지가 가능함에 원하는 이미지를 터치할 경우 관련된 언어가 스피커를 통해 출력되도록 구성되었다. 이는 SLI학생이 현재 본인의 상황을 알릴 수 있으며, 교육자는 대상자의 상황에 빠른 대처가 가능할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다. 또한 각 이미지는 2초 동안 눌렀다 떼면, 하나의 의사표현이 반복적으로 재생됨으로써 SLI학생에게는 의사소통 및 언어치료가 가능한 장치이다.

문화산업의 지적재산권에 대한 비교연구 : 한·중 게임산업의 발전 가능성 평가

The game market is now growing constantly regardless of age, sex, and medium, and the value added is also soaring. However, Korea's game companies have received a one-sided contract cancellation and withdrawal from China due to the strengthening of protection trade and the installation of Thaad, and it is time to make efforts to strengthen the product's adaptability to the game market. The purpose of this paper examines the factors affecting the game industry by comparing and analyzing the overseas advancement performance and intellectual property rights of the Korean and Chinese game industry and suggests implications for the development direction of Korean companies as a breakthrough in the difficult international situation. 게임시장은 이제 남녀노소, 매체에 상관없이 지속적으로 커져 나가고 있으며 부가가치 또한 급등하고 있는 추세이다. 보호무역 강화와, THAAD설치로 인해 중국으로 부터 게임업체에게 일방적인 계약취소 및 철회를 받았고, 게임시장의 지속적인 제품의 적응력 강화를 위한 노력이 필요한 시점이다. 본 연구에서는 한·중 게임 산업의 해외 진출성과와 지적재산권을 비교분석하여 게임산업에 영향을 미치는 요인을 살펴보고, 어려운 국제상황에서의 돌파구로서 한국기업의 발전 방향에 대하여 시사점을 제시하는데 그 연구의 목적을 두었다.

대기오염과 심박변이도(Heart Rate Variability, HRV)의 연관성에 대한 고찰

Objectives: There is considerable evidence that polluted ambient air contributes to the risk of cardiovascular morbidity and mortality. Heart rate variability (HRV) is defined as the variation in heartbeat intervals and has been reported as a biological marker of cardiovascular disease. This article reviews the existing literature in order to examine the association between air pollution and HRV. Methods: Literature was searched using Web of Science with the key words of "air pollution", "heart rate variability" and other related terms. A total of 156 articles were listed. For review, 21 of those listed publications were chosen after excluding studies regarding chamber studies, occupational environment, secondhand smoke and automobile exhaust. Results: Research methods employed in the publications were classified by type of participants (elderly/adult), air pollution monitoring (ambient/personal) and HRV monitoring (continuous/spot). Among HRV parameters, power in the low frequency range (LF), power in the high frequency range (HF) and standard deviation of all NN intervals (SDNN) were all associated with air pollutants. The chosen studies were mostly based on elderly populations. In studies based on continuous HRV monitoring, LF and SDNN significantly decreased when $PM_{2.5}$ exposure increased. Conclusion: Continuous HRV monitoring combined with personal exposure monitoring has been one of the most common study methods in recent publications. We expect that this review will be useful for the study of the association between air pollution and cardiovascular effects using HRV.

중국의 위안화는 기축통화가 될 수 있을까? 
-중국의 CBDC를 중심으로-

본 연구에서는 중국 중심의 CBDC(중앙은행디지털화폐)에 대한 탐험적 연구를 통해 기축통화가능성에 대해 살펴보고 시사점을 제시하고자 한다. 연구방법으로는 CBDC에 관련된 논문, 연구보고서, 학위논문 등을 자료를 통하여 국내, 국외의 문헌적 연구를 하였다. 미국과 유럽연합은 중국 정부가 CBDC 발행을 통해 미래의 기축통화국 지위 획득과 위안화 CBDC를 기반으로 한 새로운 글로벌 금융 시스템 구축에서 앞서가려는 전략을 반드시 저지해야 한다. 기축통화 보유국으로서 특권을 누리기 위해 미국과 중국의 디지털 통화 경쟁은 앞으로 더 치열하게 전개될 것이다. 이런 점들을 종합적으로 볼 때, 최종 승자는 예측하기는 너무 이르다고 할 수 있다. 중국의 중앙은행은 디지털화폐(CBDC)라는 용어대신 ‘디지털화폐 및 전자지급결제(DCEP: Digital Currency and Electronic Payment)’를 사용하고 있다. 새로운 디지털화폐가 단순히 본원통화를 대체하는 것을 벗어나 지급결제의 폭을 넓히겠다는 의도를 가진 것이다. 이는 중앙은행 디지털화폐를 이용하여 알리페이나 위챗페이를 능가하는 초국가적인 지급결제시스템 구축을 추구할 가능성을 시사한다.

흡연과 금연 나이트클럽의 간접흡연 노출의 차이에 대한 탐색연구

Objectives: This pilot study assessed secondhand smoke (SHS) exposure in smoking and non-smoking nightclubs in Seoul, Korea by measuring the concentration of particulate matter smaller than $2.5{\mu}m$ ($PM_{2.5}$). Methods: This comparative study was conducted in three nightclubs in Seoul. While one non-smoking nightclub was measured on weekdays and weekends, different smoking nightclubs were measured on weekdays and weekends. The concentration of $PM_{2.5}$ was observed using a real-time monitor over an average of three hours. The number of people in the clubs was also estimated. Settled dust was collected in a smoking and a non-smoking nightclub and analyzed for NNK concentration. Results: The $PM_{2.5}$ concentration in the smoking nightclubs was higher than those found in the non-smoking nightclub by 26 times on weekdays and three times on weekends. Indoor $PM_{2.5}$ concentration was correlated with the number of people in the smoking nightclubs. Relatively high $PM_{2.5}$ concentration was observed in the non-smoking nightclub on weekends. NNK concentration in the smoking nightclub was 7 times higer than in the non-smoking nightclub. Conclusion: Smoking in nightclubs caused high $PM_{2.5}$ concentration. Although the non-smoking nightclub had a lower $PM_{2.5}$ concentration, $PM_{2.5}$ concentration on weekends was higher due to the smoking room. Complete prohibition of smoking in nightclubs can protect patrons from secondhand smoke exposure.

Comparative Analysis on Business Culture between Vietnam and South Korea

Since the formal diplomatic relations in 1992, cross border trade is currently active between Vietnam and South Korea. Historically, both countries are located around China and have deep connection as to their similar historical experiences that induced ‘Share of misery’, and by means both Korea and Vietnam have been deeply impacted by China’s culture which induced the two countries to share similar cultural backgrounds, relatively more than other countries. In the perspectives of firm expanding into Vietnam, potential problems of when entering a country are contrasting culture and the most effective solution that the manager brings upon, relies on the understanding of both opposing cultures, which is the main priority when dealing with oversea business. This study, after deep inspection of similarities and differences between South Korea and Vietnam, aims to assist Korean firms that had more interest in expanding into Vietnam more than alternative countries. Hereupon, the factors and types of Korea’s dispute with different cultures factors have been analyzed. Since both countries have been affiliated with China’s culture, their history, culture and society seem to share many of its same values, but despite of this fact, dispute from the evident difference found in both countries leads to other disputes concerning natural environment, system, and others that hinder communication, lifestyle are at a high rate. Ever since Vietnam had adopted market economic system, factor for lowering the productivity cannot be regarded as custom nor practice. To solve the dispute of cross culture, the related parties need not only continuous effort but both countries’ government and the people’s interest, support, and cooperation.

Purification and backbone assignment of the Hypothetical Protein MTH1821 from Methanobacterium thermoautotrophicum H

MTH1821 (UniProtKB/TrEMBL ID O27849) is a 96-residue hypothetical protein from the open reading frame of Methanobacterium thermoautotrophicum H one of the target organisms of structural genomics pilot project. Proteins which contain conserved sequence compared with MTH1821 have not been discovered yet and the functional and structural information for MTH1821 is not available. Here, we present the sequence-specific backbone resonance using multidimensional heteronuclear NMR spectroscopy and propose the secondary structure using GetSBY software. The backbone resonances of N, HN, Cα, Cβ, CO and Hα which are necessary for a prediction of secondary structure by GetSBY were assigned about 98% (557/568). The secondary structure of MTH1821 confirmed that it is comprised of four strand regions and two helical regions. This report will provide a valuable resource for the calculation solution structure of MTH1821 and for the other hypothetical protein that is targeted for structural-based functional discovery.
