혈액투석을 받는 만성콩팥병 환자에서 Ochrobactrum antoropi에 의한 감염성 심내막염의 경험 1례

Ochrobactrum anthropi is an aerobic, gram-negative, motile, non-lactose-fermenting, oxidase-producing, and urease-positive bacillus. We reported a case of aortic valve endocarditis due to O. anthropi in a hemodialysis patient. To our knowledge, this is the first case of O. anthropi endocarditis in a hemodialysis patient in Korea. The organism was resistant to β-lactam antibiotics and susceptible to ciprofloxacin, amikacin, trimethoprim-sulfamethoxazole, gentamicin and carbapenem. We treated O. anthropi endocarditis with meropenem for 6 weeks and the patient recovered completely.

Sarcoidosis is a multi-systemic granulomatous disorder of unknown etiology. The characteristic pathological finding is the presence of non-caseating granulomas. The lungs are primarily affected, however other organs may be involved causing various symptoms and ambiguous laboratory findings can be present. There are a few reported cases of sarcoidosis with elevated tumor markers. We describe a 68-year-old woman presenting with sarcoidosis showing elevated serum carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA). The possibility of cancer arising from serum CEA such as gastrointestinal cancer, breast cancer and lung cancer was excluded. A transbronchial lung biopsy demonstrated a non-caseating granuloma without necrosis. As a result prescribed 30 mg prednisolone daily to the patient and serum CEA was decreased after 1 month of treatment. We report a case of pulmonary sarcoidosis with elevated serum CEA.
유아교육용 과학, 수학 CD-ROM Title의 교육과정 분석 및 발달적 적합성 평가 기초연구

본 연구는 현재 출시되고 있는 유아교육용 CD-ROM Title 중 과학, 수학 교육용으로 활용될 수 있는 것을 대상으로 하여 현행 유아 교육과정과의 관련성을 분석하고, 발달적 적합성을 평가하기 위한 기초 연구이다. 국내 제품 또는 한글화된 외국 제품인, 총 17개의 CD-ROM Title이 평가 대상으로 선정되었고, 교육부가 고시한 유치원 교육과정에 제시된 교육 내용과 Haugland와 Shade의 교사용 평가 체크리스트가 분석과 평가 준거로 각각 사용되었다. 연구 결과, 대부분의 CD-ROM Title은 수학 교육용이었으며 과학 교육용은 크게 부족하였고, 광범위한 교육 내용의 선정이 필요한 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 유아, 교사, 기술 측면에서 전반적으로 발달적 적합성이 매우 뛰어난 CD-ROM Title의 수는 매우 적고, 대부분이 우수한 면과 부족한 면을 동시에 갖고 있는 것으로 평가되었다. The present study was designed to analyze the curriculum contents and evaluate the developmental appropiiateness of CD-ROM Titles for kindergarten science and mathematics. Seventeen CD-ROM Titles which were Korean product or Korean version of foreign product were selected for the study. For the curriculum contents, the CD-ROM Titles were analyzed based on the science and mathematics content areas presented by the Ministry of Education. For the developmental appropiiateness, the CD-ROM Titles were evaluated using a checklist for evaluation software developed by Haugland and Shade. Results of the curriculum analysis revealed that most of the CD-ROM Titles were focused on the mathematics contents, while a few of them were involved the science contents. According to the evaluation of the developmental appropriateness, most of the CD-ROM Titles had both good and poor qualities in child, teacher, and technical features.
생활주제 중심의 유아교육과정에 기초한 "컴퓨터 통합 프로그램" 에 대한 교사의 기대 활용수준

The purpose of this study was to develop an integrated computer activity program based on theme-oriented early childhood curriculum and to examine teachers' levels-of-use of the program. With the increasing use of computer in the early childhood classroom, there has been a growing interest and requirement for the computer activity program which can be integrated into the early childhood curriculum. However, previous research has lacked on the computer activity program utilizing CD-ROM Title and Internet site based on theme-oriented early childhood curriculum. The focus of the computer activity program developed for this study was to facilitate teachers to integrate the computer activity into their classroom in developmentally appropriate ways. Seventy-two kindergarten teachers, who had participated in the in-service education for the use of computer in the early childhood education, surveyed on a questionnaire for the expected level of use and the expected obstacle factor to use the program in the classroom. The teachers were also asked to estimate the satisfaction of the program according to theme. The result revealed that the expected level of use was much same with level 4 'understand fully and will utilize the program effectively.' The findings also showed that the expected obstacle factor was related to some subjects which were needed to be improved rather than some defects of the program. Most themes satisfied the teachers in terms of utilizing the program in the classroom. The results of this study implied that the program developed in this study could be a promising integrated computer activity program and be utilized corresponding to teachers' needs and interests. Further research is needed to determine the level of use and obstacle factors by implementing the integrated computer activity program in the classroom.
