        방약합편(方藥合編) 의방활투(醫方活套) 중(中) 시호(柴胡)가 배합(配合)된 방제(方劑)에 관한 고찰(考察)

        Objectives : Bangyakhappyeon was classified into three tongs of prescription. When juxtaposed with existing publications on oriental medicine, this composition was considerably original. Due to its ease of searching for diseases and prescription, it has been read by not only doctors and researchers but also among general citizens alike. Based on the fundamentals of Bangyakhappyeon composition, this thesis focused on the thorough research on the prescription of Bupleuri Radix mixture. Methods : 42 prescriptions of Bupleuri Radix mixtures have been divided in to three tongs based on the composition of Bangyakhappyeon. Then, these prescriptions, dosage, and composition were researched and organized. Results : After analyzing the prescription of Bupleuri Radix mixture in the Uibanghwaltu chapter of the Bangyakhappyeon text, the following results were attained. 1. Of the 42 prescriptions of Bupleuri Radix mixtures, jungtong constitutes the most prescription at 30, 8 at hatong, and 4 at sangtong. 2. 42 prescriptions are documented into 18 medical divisions and 44 disease symptoms. 3. After analyzing the prescription dosage of Bupleuri Radix mixture, the dosage of Bupleuri Radix was 3 puns to 4 jeons used in 14 sections. Most use was 1 jeon 14 prescriptions, 33.3% were recorded. 4. Invigorating vital function, catharsis, malaria, mediation method, and clearing away method of Bupleuri Radix have a close relationship with the dosage. 5. The 42 prescriptions formation of using Bupleuri Radix consisted of decoction at 39 prescriptions (92.9%) and the others at 3 prescriptions (7.1%). 6. As a result of researching the component of the prescription of Bupleuri Radix mixture, Sosihotang, Soyosan and Bojungikgitang were used as the basic prescription. Conclusions : prescription of Bupleuri Radix mixture in Uibanghwaltu of Bangyakhappyeon as based on Sosihotang, Soyosan and Bojungikgitang, combined with various oriental medicine was found to treat many kinds of diseases.

        연천 사고 피해 PTSD 환자의 해마 용적 : 8개월 추적 연구

        Objective : This study was conducted to evaluate the relation between symptoms and hippocampal volume in patients with posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Methods : Eight patients with PTSD and five normal controls were enrolled in the present study. The severity of PTSD symptoms was measured using the clinician administered PTSD scale (CAPS), Hamilton Rating Scale for Depression (HAMD), Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HAMA). Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) was used to measure hippocampal volume. Results : There were significant differences in the CAPS, HAMD, and HAMA scores between the PTSD patients and normal controls. The left and right hippocampal volumes were smaller in the PTSD patients than in the normal controls, but this difference was not statistically significant. The results showed that PTSD symptoms were not related to hippocampal volume. Conclusion : In this study, we could not identify a difference in hippocampal volume between normal controls and patients with PTSD at eight months after trauma. Future research with different subjects and a larger sample size is needed in order to confirm the difference in hippocampal volume.

        외상후 스트레스장애 환자에서 장기 치료에 따른 카테콜아민과 코르티솔 변화

        Objective : This study was conducted to evaluate the changes in the levels of neurotransmitters and cortisol in patients with chronic posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and to evaluate their correlation with symptoms after long-term pharmacological treatment. Methods : Twenty-eight Vietnam veterans with chronic PTSD and 34 non-PTSD patients were consecutively recruited. The Combat Exposure Scale (CES), Mississippi Scale for Combat-Related Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (M-PTSD), Clinician Administered PTSD Scale (CAPS), Hamilton Rating Scale for Depression (HRSD) and Hamilton Anxiety Scale (HAS) were used to evaluate symptom severity. High performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) was used to measure the plasma levels of epinephrine, norepinephrine, and dopamine, and a radioimmunoassay (RIA) was performed to evaluate the plasma level of cortisol. Results : Plasma cortisol was significantly lower in PTSD patients than in control subjects, while there was no significant difference in plasma epinephrine, norepinephrine and dopamine between the two groups. The scores of M-PTSD, CAPS, HAMD and HAMA were signigicantly higher in PTSD patients than control group. Conclusion : After long-term treatment, the levels of neurotransmitters in PTSD patients returned to within the normal range, and the patients' symptoms showed some improvement. However, the core symptoms of PTSD continued to appear intermittently, and they are thought to be associated with hormonal systems, such as the HPA axis. It is also suggested that PTSD should be considered to be a complex disorder associated with multiple systems and that combinations of the effective medications for each system should be used to treat patients with PTSD.

        Objectives : Ethereal soul and Corporeal soul are very important part of mental activities that have researched and studied not only by ancient medical scientists but also by philosophers and thinkers in historical literature. Methods : There are some differences between ethereal soul and corporeal soul in terms of meaning, generative process, organs and the effects over the human body although they have been studied for a long time and have influenced on each other. Results : The perception of ethereal soul and corporeal soul are considerably limited in Korean medicine compared to their contribution of biological activities. The relationship of the positive and negative, yin and yang, is not even classified. So there is a general lack of understanding of ethereal soul and corporeal soul in oriental medicine course. Conclusions : Therefore, this thesis is designed for discussing the origin and relation of ethereal soul and corporeal soul. Also it would be explained the effect in terms of sleeping that is related Ethereal soul and Corporeal soul.

        배리어 유전체 방전을 이용한 전기 집진부에서의 나노 입자 집진 효율

        Although dielectric barrier discharge (DBD) in air has been applied to a wider range of aftertreatment processes for HAPs (Hazardous Air Pollutants), due to its high electron density and energy, its potential use as precharging dust particles is not well known. In this work, we measured size distributions of bimodal aerosol particles and estimated collection efficiency of the particles by an electrostatic precipitator (ESP) using DBD as particle charger. To examine the particle collection with DBD charger, nano size particles of NaCl(20∼100nm) and DOS (50∼500nm) were generated by a tube furnace and an atomizer, respectively. For experimental conditions of 60㎐, 11㎸ and 60 lpm, the particle collection efficiency for the hybrid system was over 85%, based on the number of particles captured.

        안정화된 만성 정신분열병 환자에서 강박장애 동반과 사회적 기능

        Objective : This study aimed to investigate the prevalence of obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) in schizophrenia, and the relationship among OCD, severity of psychopathology, and social function in stable patients with chronic schizophrenia. Methods : We interviewed 138 symptom-stable inpatients who had been on a constant dose of antipsychotics for at least 1 month prior and diagnosed as chronic schizophrenia. Subsequently, patients were classified according to the existence of OCD as investigated using the Structured Clinical Interview for DSM-IV Axis I disorders (SCID-I) and the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fourth Edition (DSM-IV). Further, all clinical and demographic data was investigated. To investigate potential interrelationships, the Yale-Brown Obsessive-Compulsive Scale (Y-BOCS), Korea-Positive and Negative Symptom Scale (K-PANSS), and the Korean Personal and Social Performance (K-PSP) were used. An independent ttest and Chi-square test were used to compare groups and a Pearson's correlation coefficient was used to assess the relationship between the Y-BOCS and other clinical rating scales. Results : The prevalence of OCD in schizophrenia patients was 18.1%. Patients with schizophrenia and OCD exhibited significantly earlier onset of schizophrenia, more severe psychiatric symptoms, and lower personal and social performance ability as compared to those without OCD. There was no significant relationship among Y-BOCS, K-PANSS, and K-PSP. Conclusion : We found that comorbid OCD was relatively more frequent in patients with schizophrenia. An investigation involving larger samples of schizophrenia patients with OCD with respect to social function and thus, the effect on quality of life is required.

      • 주기억 장치 데이타베이스 시스템에 대한 회복 기법의 설계

        주기억 장치 소자의 가격이 하락 추세에 있고, 집적도가 향상됨에 따라 데이타베이스 전체를 주기억 장치에 상주시켜 데이타베이스에 대한 연산을 수행하는 것이 가능할 것이라는 개념의 데이타베이스 시스템을 주기억 장치 데이타베이스 시스템이라고 한다. 주기억 장치 데이타베이스 시스템에서는 디스크의 입/출력이 초기에 데이타베이스를 적재할 때와 회복을 목적으로 디스크에 기록할 때를 제외하고는 발생하지 않아 기존의 디스크 데이타베이스에서 가장 문제가 되었던 디스크 입/출력에서 발생되는 병목 현상을 줄이고, 주기억 장치 데이타베이스에 대한 새로운 접근 방법을 사용하여 트랜잭션 처리를 빠르게 수행할 수가 있어야 한다. 또한, 주기억 장치의 비영속성에도 불구하고 고장이 발생할 경우 데이타베이스의 일관성을 유지하기 위한 빠른 회복 기법을 제공하여야 한다. 본 논문에서는 고장이 발생한 이후에 시스템을 보다 효율적으로 일관성있는 상태로 복구하기 위한 주기억 장치 데이타베이스 시스템에서의 회복 기법을 제안한다.

      • ZigBee 네트워크에서 IBC를 사용한 인증 프로토콜

        WPAN의 대표적인 기술인 ZigBee는 IEEE 802.15.4 표준을 기반으로 상위프로토콜과 응용을 규격화한 기술이다. 저전력, 저비용, 초소형의 장점을 가지는 ZigBee는 유비쿼터스 센서 네트워크를 구현하는 최적의 기술로 주목받고 있다. 그러나 ZigBee 보안 시스템은 심각한 문제점들을 가지고 있다. 링크키를 생성하기 위해 사용하는 마스터키를 평문으로 전송하기 때문에 마스터키가 노출되는 문제점과 디바이스의 이동이 빈번한 환경에서 코디네이터에 과부하가 발생할 수 있는 문제점 등이 그것이다. 본 논문에서는 ZigBee 보안 시스템이 가지고 있는 문제점을 해결하기 위해 IBC(ID-Based Cryptography) 기법과 은닉 서명 기법을 사용하여 코디네이터와 디바이스 간의 안전한 통신을 보장하고 디바이스의 프라이버시를 보호할 수 있는 프로토콜을 제안하였다.
