The therapeutic effect of famotidine was evaluated in 24 patients with endoscopically proven peptic ulcer, 10 cases of gastric ulcer and 14 cases of duodenal ulcer. All 24 patients were treated with famotidine 20 mg b. i. d. for 8 weeks. We followed up endoscopic examination at week 4, 6, and 8, and observed changes of symptom every 2 weeks. The results were as follows: 1. The rates of patients completely healed in gastric ulcer group were 60% at week 4, 90% at week 6, and 90% at week 8. 2. The rates of patients completely healed in duodenal ulcer group were 79% at week 4, 93% at week 6, and 100% at week 8. 3. The overall rates of patients completely healed in both groups were 71% at week 4, 92% at week 6, and 96% at week 8. 4. The rates of patients completely relieved from each symptom were 60-100% within 2 weeks. 5. There were no symptoms and signs suggesting side effects of drug. In this stuy, we concluded that famotidine is effective in the treatment of gastric and duodenal ulcer and is well tolerated.
『판비량론』신출 필사본의 해독과 유식비량 관련 단편의 내용 분석

The Purpose of this paper is to decode and translate the newly found Pan-Bi-Ryang-Ron manuscripts and to analyze the meaning of two fragments related to the syllogism of proving Mind-onliness. The manuscripts are of 4 kinds and they are Manuscripts of Goto (五島) Museum collection, Mitsui (三井) Memorial Museum collection, Tokyo National Museum collection, and Umetani (梅渓)’s collection. You can find printed style sentences of the newly found Pan-Bi-Ryang-Ron manuscripts in this paper. The manuscript of Goto Museum collection is composed of 2 fragments. The subject of the first fragment is on the syllogism of proving Mind-onliness. And the subject of Umetani’s collection is the same as this. All the sentences of the Goto Museum manuscript and the sentences in the first fragment of Umetani's manuscript can be found in a paragraph of『因 明論疏明燈抄』. That is, the paragraph is a quotation from Pan-Bi-Ryang『Ron. Originally, they belong to the same chapter of the Pan-Bi『Ryang-Ron, where Won Hyo (元曉) criticized Xuan Zang (玄奘)’s syllogism of proving Mind-onliness. In this paragraph, we can find Mun Gue (文軌)’s criticism of a syllogism invented by Won Hyo. It is an interesting attitude of Mun Gue towards Won Hyo. In addition, by decoding the newly found manuscripts of Pan-Bi- Ryang-Ron, we can correct some errors in past restorations of the other manuscripts. 본고는 최근에 일반인들에게 공개된 元曉의『判比量論』필사본 단편 4가지의 원문을 해서체로 복원, 번역하고 그 가운데 唯識比量과 관계된 논의를 분석하는 것을 목적으로 삼는다. 4가지 단편 가운데 고토미술관 所藏本은 두 조각을 이어붙인 것으로 앞부분은 유식비량, 뒷부분에는 정토에 대한 내용이 담겨 있고, 우메타니 舊藏本의 경우 유식비량에 대한 논의가 실려 있는데, 서두의 1줄 반 분량은『因明論疏名燈抄』에 인용되어 있는 부분이지만 나머지 3줄반에는 원효에 대한 文軌의 비판이 인용되어 있다. 미쓰이기념미술관 소장본의 경우도 두 조각을 이어 붙인 것인데, 앞부분에서는 比量의 효용에 대해 논의하고, 뒷부분에서는 비량의 因에 부가된 ‘自許’라는 단서에 대해 설명한다. 도쿄국립박물관 소장본의 특징은『因明正理門論』의 문장들이 인용되어 있다는 점인데, 이에 근거하여 과거에 ‘惠’자와 ‘耳’자로 알던 글자를 ‘名’자와 ‘互’ 자로 수정할 수 있었다. 또 유식비량에 대한 분석에서 문궤가 원효에 대해 비판적이었다는 점을 알게 되었다. 또 미쓰이기념미술관 소장본의 경우 인명학과 관계된 새로운 논의가 담겨 있기에 원효의 학문적 폭과 깊이를 더욱 확인할 수 있었다.
