김희숙. 2004. 10. 30. 한국어 세계화 전략과 한글의 세계화 전략. 이중언어학 26. 69-89. 이 논문은 한국어(Korean)의 이식보다 한글(Hangul)의 전파가 우리문화를 세계화시키는데 있어 더 유리할 것이라는 것을 주장하고자 의도된 것이다. 그 동기는 라후(Lahu)족 에서의 한글이식(2001, 2003)실험이 성공적으로 이루어졌다는 언론의 보도 때문이다. 과연 이것이 우연에 기인한 것인지 아니면, 논리적인 이유가 있는지의 문제(puzzle)를 푸는 것을 논의의 출발점으로 하였다. 언어나 글자는 문화를 구성하는 중요한 요소들이다. 어떤 사회의 문자나 언어가 다른 사회로 퍼져 나가는 것은 문화전파의 일종이고 이런 면에서 기존의 문화전파 모델을 어느 정도 충족시키는지에 따라 그 결과가 달라질 것이라고 가정 하였다. 이를 라후(Lahu)족의 경우에 적용한 결과, 우리는 이 시도가 비교적 일반적인 문화전파 형태를 충분히 따랐음을 알 수 있었다. 동시에 한국어를 세계화 시키고자 하는 최근까지의 여러 시도들은 문화전파의 일반적인 형태와는 상대적으로 거리가 있음을 발견할 수 있었다. 이로부터 본고는 우리문화를 세계화 하는데 있어 한글의 세계화가 한국어의 세계화보다 더 현실적이지 않을 까하는 주장을 이끌어 낼 수 있었다. 이에 더해 한글의 세계화를 촉진시킬 현실적인 몇 가지 전술(tactics)도 제안하고 있다.

Clothing comfort is a very important factor in the hot environment. It is affected by physical and chemical properties of textile materials and clothing combination. Especially fire fighter's clothing exposed to radiant heat condition requires thermal protective properties of clothing materials. Thermal protective properties of clothing are affected by properties of textile materials (antiflammability, thermal properties of textile materials (antiflammability, thermal resistance to the hot surface, water and oil resistance, durablility, heat and moisture dissipation into the environment, and easy-care), clothing design, and wearing method or clothing ensembles. And there are heat flux meter and infrared(IR) thermometer methods in order to assess the effect of thermal protective clothing on heat tolerance and comfort in the radiant heat condition.

남북한 상보대립어 구성 연구 : 여성어휘를 중심으로

As we can tell easily the difference in vocabulary, glancing South and North Korean dictionaries, the heteronization of Korean has progressed to a distinctive degree in the peninsular. It stems from the simple fact that since the end of Korean War (1950-1953), except a few official visits by high ranking of officials and players, there have been almost no personal exchanges between the North and South Koreans However, it alone cannot explain all. We cannot deny that many political reasons have prevented both governments from mating efforts to check the heteronization Nowadays, we--at least, South Koreans--think that the reunification of both Koreas is no longer an idea but a real possibility It means that we began to consider seriously how the North differs from the South Korea This is what this study is intended for Every language has female and male words Many sociolinguistic studies have tried to explain it in the aspect of sexual discrimination or sexual distinction The works based on the view of sexual discrimination are looking for the reason in the structure of human society They insist that all human societies are androcentric and that it is well reflected on language Those taking the other attitude suggest that because human-beings are grouped into two--male and female, we need male and female words to distinguish them However, no one thinks that female and male words emerged for the discriminating or distinguishing purpose only The question which is more important differentiates them Nowadays, we find that we are no longer using many traditional gender expressing words Here, we can clearly see that the development of female and male words are closely related to premodern cultures Nevertheless, it is also true that we, living in the modem world, still need them The North Korea has maintained a communist regime for the last fifty years. Actually, it is one of the few countries in the world still esteeming communism. From the beginning, the government tried to revolutionize the society depending on the communist ideology All discriminations, including sexual, had to be eradicated Language was not an exception On the contrary, the South Korea took the capitalist economic development course and let the social and linguistic change take their own natural paths Therefore, we can expect that we could find more remnants of premodern society in South than North Korean That is, the South Koreans would use sexually discriminating sex expressing words more frequently than their northern brethren However, according to the political defectors settled down across the DMZ, the North has preserved the traditional Korean values more and better than the South Korea. It means that the communist revolution could not change the North Korean society completely as originally intended in other words, officially, the North Korea already became a complete communist society but privately or beneath the official sphere, it has long way to go in addition, It is likely that its well-known isolation policy would work to decelerate rather than accelerate the process by making the North Korean society Insulated from the worldwide cultural change North Korean would be in the similar situation Therefore, we can say that the heteronization in Korean has not advanced as much as we think In this study, we could conclude that at least in sex expressing words, North and South Korean are not so different We can find a possible answer in that both are sharing many common values Some people have insisted that the North Korea is not a pure communist regime as she wants others to believe but a hybrid of communism and Confucianism. In the current South Korean society, we can also encounter many vestiges of Confucianism Adding to it, recently reignited interest in the Eastern value among the lay people would function to slow down the linguistic change These all indicate that in the present stage, the heteronization between North and South Korean is the obstacle the Koreans can easily surmount if the reunification process begins Free large-scale personal exchanges will be enough Both are closer than they appear

도라지의 급이가 고콜레스테롤혈증 흰쥐의 혈청지질농도에 미치는 영향

The object of this study was to investigate the effects the of feeding mixed with powders and extracts of Platycodon grandiflorum (4 or 22 years) on the lipid metabolism of sewn in rats. After cholesterol-fed rats of Sprague-Dawley strain were fed 5% level of frozen powder, fiber, saponin and ethanol extract for 3 weeks, the changes of lipid concentration of serum were examined. The results obtained are as follows. The concentration of total cholesterol in serum was lowest in fiber diet group of four years P. grandiflorurn, and HDL-cholesterol was rather high in saponin diet group of four years and fiber diet group of twenty-two years. The atherosclerotic index was also showed to the lowest value in rats fed fiber diet of four and twenty-two years. Concentrations of low density lipoprotein in serum were significantly lower in saponin diet group than in the other groups, and the ratio of cholesteryl ester concentration to total cholesterol was 85.0 - 87.0% level. The concentration of triglyceride in serum was lower in all experimental groups, and lowest in powder diet group of twenty-two years than in the control group. Phospholipid was showed to the lowest content in powder diet group and ethanol extract diet group of twenty-two years among the other groups. From the results, the feeding of diet groups with powder and fiber of P. grandiflorum (4 or 22 years) and saponin of P. grandiflorum (22 years) affected the concentration of total cholesterol, triglyceride, phospholipid, HDL-cholesterol, LDL and atherosclerotic index were effective for improving lipid metabolism.

Durable Press 加工된 레이온織物의 物性變化에 관한 硏究

The purpose of this study was to investigate the optimum treatment ;condition for the Durable press finish of viscose rayon fabrics. Three types of commercial N-methylol crosslinking agents were applied to the fabric utilizing the pad-dry-cure technique. Changes in physical properties were evaluated for the various resin and catalyst concentrations. For DMU, the effect of different catalysts, MgCl_2 and NH_4Cl, were also compared. DMU treated fabrics showed in crease recovery angle, tensile strength and tearing, strength but drastic decrease in abrasion resistance. DMDHEU and MDMDHEU treated fabrics were similar in most physical properties. However, DMDHEU treated fabrics were better in crease recovery angle and stiffness, and MDMDHEU treated fabrics were better in tensile strength, tearing strength and abrasion resistance. For a ;given resin system, crease recovery angle, tensile strength and stiffness increased with a increase in resin concentration. Tearing strength showed very little change, while abrasion resistance was decreased significantly as the crease recovery angle was increased. For the treatment of DMU, MgCl_2 catalyst was much better than NH_4Cl in all physical properties. When NH_4Cl catalyst was used, strength reduction and discoloration were observed. As the catalyst concentration increased, crease recovery angle, stiffness were increased. Tensile strengh and tearing strength were increcased than control but at high catalyst concentration, the strength were decreased and abrasion resistance was significantly lowered. DMDHEU andMDMDHEU were more sensitive to catalyst concentrations than DMU.

To elucidate the effects of protein concentration, heat treatment and pH on the functional properties of gelatin, surface tension, absolute viscosity, turbidity, foaming ability (overrun), foam stability(drainage), emulsifying activity and emulsifying stability were determined. Surface tensions of gelatin solutions at pH 6.0, 7.0 and 8.0 were 48.2~55.7, 44.9~51.0 and 44.6~49.11dyne/cm, respectively. Absolute viscosities of the solutions at pH 6.0, 7.0 and 8.0 were 1.7~4.9, 2.1~5.6 and 2.0~3.9cps, turbidities were 0.1~12.7, 1.6~12.9 and 1.6~9.3, respectively. Protein concentration, temperature and pH effects on the foaming ability of gelatin solutions were somewhat inconsistent. Foam stabilities were excellent at concentrations > 1.5%. Emulsifying activities were 45.3~55.5, 47.8~60.8 and 45.7~55.3 at pH 6.0, 7.0 and 8.0, emulsifying stabilities were 78.6~100.0, 61.1~91.9 and 64.6~98.3%, respectively. Heat treatment of the gelatin solutions at 65℃, 1.0% concentration affected greatly the decrease of emulsifying stability.

Moisture transport properties of clothing is very important factors in clothing comfort. Textiles are required various moisture related functions. Moisture transport properties effect on thermal comfort because moisture transfer is accompanied by heat transfer. Moisture transport properties of clothing affected by moisture absorption properties of fiber and geometrical structure of fabric and design or wearing method of clothing. Measurement of moisture transport property needs both objective and subjective measurements. In conclusion, clothing which has excellent moisture transport property can increase clothing comfort in both hot and cold conditions.

의복설계를 위한 성인여성의 頸部 및 肩部의 體表面角度에 관한 연구

In order to know what sorts of features of neck & shoulder form may be required to make plans for tight fiting collars, the neck & shoulder form of young Japanese women were measured three demensionally using GRASP(Grating Projection System for Profiling) and plaster torso. By the BASIC language in NEC computer and EXCEL program in MACINTOSHI computer, it became possible to draft a number of neck & shoulder surface automatically, therefore, we got analysis of a mass of subjects. The following results were obtained : There was a large individual difference in the shape of neck & shoulder, in particular, on the front and side curves of the neck base line, where the undulation of clavicular part of neck and inclination of shoulder are refracted.

The Subset Principle and UG in L2 Acquisition : the acquisition of reflexives by Korean students learning English

The Subset Principle and UG in L2 Acquisition: the acquisition of reflexives by Korean students learning English. The fact that children learn which setting is appropriate for the language they are acquiring from the positive evidence rather than from negative evidence suggests that L1 acquisition should be achieved with positive evidence only. However, children may encounter a situation where they need negative evidence for disconfirmation. To overcome s problem, a learning principle called Subset Principle is proposed, and its potential application can be illustrated through a parameter-setting framework for Binding Principle called Governing Category Parameter(GCP) proposed by Wexler and Manzini(1987). This study examines whether the Subset Principle operates in L2 acquisition of reflexives by Korean students learning English as in L1, and if not what other factors are involved. The result shows that the Subset Principle does not seem to operate in their L2 acquisition, causing students to create interlanguage grammar placed somewhere between the superset L1 and subset L2. This suggests that teachers should provide sufficient and adequate evidence to help that resetting to take place successively.
