        중국어 축약 현상에 대한 고찰

        This study is about Chinese abbreviations. It clarifies the scope of the discussion by comparing English concepts and Chinese concepts for abbreviations. In addition, the discussion is supported by various Chinese abbreviations. Based on the concepts, Chinese abbreviations are classified into three types: Chinese character``s abbreviation, Pinyin``s abbreviation, and numeral abbreviation. Each type of abbreviations is divided into subcategories. Furthermore, the reasons of the rapid increase and the developing tendency of the Chinese abbreviations are also discussed.

        A Study on Shamanistic Expression Method of Performances Using VR Technology: Body Ownership and Gaze

        Virtual reality (VR) technology has been increasingly more frequently used day by day in industries, entertainment and performances due to the development of AR and MR technologies. Performance arts also actively utilize 360 ° VR technology due to the free expression of stage settings and auditoriums. However, technologies for systems in which performers wear VR devices firsthand rather than being in the sandpoint of bystanders while audiences wear VR head mounted displays(HMDs) to see performance stages have been rarely studied yet. This study investigated the technical possibilities of possible methods of expression that will enable performers to appear on the stage wearing VR devices. Since VR can maximize the sense of immersion with its closed HMD structure unlike augmented reality (AR), VR was judged to be suitable for studies centered on the mental interactions in the inner side of humans. Among them, to implement shamanistic expression methods with the phantoms of the body and soul, a motion capture technology linked with VR display devices and real-time cameras was realized on the stage. In this process, the importance of body ownership experienced by the performers (participants), reactions when they lost it, and the mental phenomena of the desire to possess the subjects of gaze could be seen. In addition, high possibility of development of this technology hereafter could be expected because this technology includes the technical openness that enables the audience to appear on the stage firsthand to become performers.

        중국어 신조어의 지난 10년을 되돌아보며 - 『漢語新詞語』(2007-2017)에 대한 서평을 중심으로 -

        Hanyu Xinciyu is one of the most representative Chinese neologism dictionaries, and it has been published for the past 10 years on a yearly basis. In this paper, 11 dictionaries(2006Hanyu Xinciyu(2007) - 2016Hanyu Xinciyu(2017)) were examined. Not only the exterior structures but also the interior structures of the dictionaries were checked out, and the changes of the dictionaries were presented. For readers, the strongest point of the dictionaries is that lots of useful information relating to the neologism of the year are shown in the preface. The preface of this dictionary can function as a simple research paper on the neologism of the year, since the statistics on length, structure, material, field, and frequency of the current neologism are presented. In addition, the comments on the general tendency of current neologism are made in the preface. Thus, if readers read the preface, they can grasp the general aspect of current neologism. Also, there are so-called ‘window of knowledge’ and ‘relevant words’ in the dictionary. The former one provides some knowledge about the word such as the origin of the word and relevant accidents. The latter one is a box in which similar words in the respect of the word formation are presented. These informative devices can help readers to understand the word better. However, Chinese people sometimes say that they do not use some of neologism in the dictionaries, and even do not know them. It means some of the words in this dictionary are listed on purpose, in order to reveal the intention of Chinese government.

        多文化化の中の民族教育 - 『川崎市ふれあい館』の事例から -

        Around the 1990s, some important changes became conspicuous in the field of Korean ethnic education in Japan, once aimed at formation of a strong ethnic identity in order to resist the assimilation pressure and discrimination: the increase in newly arriving foreign residents and the introduction of multiculturalism into public educational area. Since then, Korean ethnic education in some regions has been discussed in the context of multicultural education. This paper examined how Korean ethnic education has intersected and negotiated with the multicultural transformation of local community and the multicultural education practices especially directed by the administration and public schools. It looked into the practices of the Kawasaki Fureaikan, which was established by the Kawasaki city in 1988 and has been managed by the Seikyusha, a social welfare foundation established mainly by ethnic Koreans in 1973. From my analysis, the following things became clear. Firstly, although the “Korean-only” principle has been inherited in the practices of the Korean ethnic education, Japanese children’s participation was also observed. Moreover, other changes in the educational contents, such as lesser emphasis to strong ethnic identity, were found as well. Secondly, the cooperation with the public schools in the local communities has spread and the concerns related with other foreign children and disabled children have been also taken into the practice. Thirdly, the activists of the Kawasaki Fureaikan have participated in the lessons of “education for international understanding” at public elementary schools, and tried to assert the viewpoint of “Kyosei” (co-living) with the residents who have different ethnic roots” in an effort to overcome the criticism of multiculturalism such as “It’s just simply the introduction of a foreign country”, or “It’s a kind of viewpoint that regards cultures only as objects of admiration exhibited in a museum”.

      • 시스템 품질과 기술 준비도 속성이 전자투표 수용에 미치는 영향요인 연구: 왜 우리나라 공직선거에는 전자투표 도입이 이루어지지 않을까?

        2018년 8월 현재 민간영역의 분야는 전자투표 시스템이 활용되는 추세가 많아지고 있다. 그러나 공공영역의 지방선거·국회의원 선거·대통령선거 등 공직 선거에서 전자투표 실현은 보류된 상태이다. 본 연구는 이러한 점에 주목했다. 왜 민간영역에서는 실현중인 전자투표를 공직선거에서는 이루어지지 않고 있을까· 그리하여 본 연구는 유권자인 개인의 속성에서 답을 찾아보고자 했다. 확인을 위해 본 연구는 크게 기술수용 모형(Technology Acceptance Model)과 정보시스템 성과 측정 모형(Internet System Success Model), 기술 준비도(Technology Readiness)를 대 이론으로 설정했다. 전국 성인남녀 262명을 대상으로 실증 결과 시스템 품질 속성 중에서 신뢰성이 지각된 이용 용이성에 정의 영향을 주는 것을 확인했다. 기술준비도 속성 중에서는 불편감과 불안감이 이용 용이성과 부의 영향을 가진다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 기술수용 모형의 구성요인으로써 이용 용이성은 지각된 유용성에 정의 영향을 미쳤지만, 전자투표 이용 의도에는 지각된 유용성만이 정의 영향을 미친 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 본 연구는 전자투표에 대한 유권자의 인지 요인과 수용에 영향을 주는 관계 등을 살펴본다는 점에서 기존 논의들과 차별성을 갖는다고 할 수 있다.

        전자투표시스템에 대한 우리나라 유권자의 태도 분석

        The purpose of this study is to measure voters’ attitudes toward the electronicvoting system of Korea(K-Voting). What attitude will voters take in the useof electronic voting in official elections with electronic voting graduallyactivated in the private sector? To find the answer, this study used scalesbased on ‘Technology Acceptance Model’, ‘Information System PerformanceMeasurement Model’, and ‘Technology Readiness Index’. Participants were 262adult men and women in their 20s and 60s across the country who experiencedK-Voting System. The results show that they considered the system usefulif their trust was high. On the other hand, they responded that it would notbe useful if the new technology is inconvenient or causes anxiety due toinformation protection issues. The singularity is that simply being easy touse did not lead to an intention to use, and that the system was used to confirmcontinuous use only if voters themselves considered useful. This study arguesthat an individual’s attitude can be as much an influence on their use as theissues of system implementation and institutional settlement. 본 연구는 전자투표시스템(K-Voting)에 대한 유권자의 태도를 측정하는 것에 목적이 있다. 민간 영역에서 전자투표가 점차 활성화되는 상황에서, 유권자들은 공직선거의 전자투표 활용에 어떤 태도를 보일까? 이를 위해 본 연구는 ‘기술 수용 모형’과 ‘정보시스템성과 측정 모형’, ‘기술 준비도’를 이론으로 한 평가척도를 마련하였다. 전자투표시스템을경험한 전국 20~60대 성인남녀 262명을 대상으로 실증 결과, 신뢰가 높으면 시스템을유용하게 여기는 것을 알 수 있었다. 반면 새 기술이 불편하거나 정보 보호 이슈 등에의해 불안감을 유발할 경우 유용하지 않다는 반응을 나타냈다. 특이한 발견은 단순히 이용하기 쉽다고 해서 이용 의도로 이어지지 않았다는 점이며, 시스템을 활용하여 유권자자신이 유용하다고 여기는 경우에만 지속적 이용의도가 나타난 것을 확인했다. 본 연구는 시스템 구현과 제도 정착 이슈만큼 개인의 태도가 이용에 영향을 크게 미치는 요소가될 수 있음을 주장하고자 한다.

        아동 이야기책의 올바른 선정을 위한 텍스트 복잡도의 이해 및 비판적 고찰

        Children's literature, which is authentic and valuable material for teaching English, provides a positive impact on language acquisition or learning. On the other hand, since it is authentic which means it is not written with the purposeful considerations to match learners' language levels, Ellis and Brewster (2001) and Sullivan (1991) pointed out that language written in storybooks can be too complex to EFL learners. Considering that children's literature including storybooks is often used in teaching English, it is of importance to understand what text complexity means. In this sense, this paper reviews a range of topics including classic readability formulas, syntactic complexity formula, units of measurement for measuring syntactic complexity, Lexile level, and the text complexity model suggested by Common Core State Standards for English Language Arts & Literacy. Lastly, this paper concludes with suggestions how to analyze text complexity when we use children's storybooks for teaching English. 아동 문학은 영어 교육에 있어 실제적이고 소중한 자료로 언어 습득 및학습에 긍정적인 영향을 제공한다. 반면, 학습자의 수준에 적합하게 의도적으로 만들어진 자료가 아닌 실제적인 자료이기 때문에 Ellis와Brewster(2001)와 Sullivan(1991)은 외국어로서의 영어를 학습하는 학생에게는 영어 이야기책에 쓰여진 언어가 너무 복잡할 수 있다고 지적하였다. 우리나라와 같은 EFL 환경에서도 이야기책을 포함하여 영어 아동 문학이영어 교육을 위해 종종 활용되는 점을 고려한다면, 텍스트의 복잡도(text complexity)에 대한 이해 및 세심한 고찰이 필요하다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 다양한 이독성 공식, 통사적 복잡도 공식 및 측정 단위, 렉사일 지수, 그리고 미국 공통 핵심 학력 기준에 제시된 텍스트 복잡도 모델을 상세하게 고찰해 보고, 아동 이야기책과 같은 실제 자료를 영어교육에 활용할때 텍스트의 언어적 난이도를 분석하기 위한 방법을 제언한다.
