Remotely sensed data is the most fundamental data in acquiring the GIS informations, and may be analyzed to extract useful thematic information. Multi-spectral classification is one of the most often used methods of information extraction. The actual multi-spectral classification may be performed using either supervised or unsupervised approaches. This paper analyze the effect of assigning clever initial values to image classes on the performance of parallelepiped classification algorithm, which is one of the supervised classification algorithms. First, we investigate the effect on serial computing model, then expand it on MIMD (Multiple Instruction Multiple Data) parallel computing model. On serial computing model, the performance of the parallel pipe algorithm improved 2.4 times at most and, on MIMD parallel computing model the performance improved about 2.5 times as clever initial values are assigned to image class. Through computer simulation we find that initial values of image class greatly affect the performance of parallelepiped classification algorithms, and it can be improved greatly when classes on both serial computing model and MIMD parallel computation model.

This study attempted to investigate the perception and usage status for meat products of dietitians in the food service business in Seoul and Gangwon province. 32.8% of dietitians decided the menu reflecting the taste of students. Most of the dietitians (89.2%) checked the manufacture date of the processed meat products when they were supplied. To address the question as to whether they could distinguish the difference among ham, pressed ham, and sausage, most of them answered; 'can distinguish a little' (47.5%) or 'can't distinguish' (36.7%). The most frequently provided processed meat products were ham (33.9%), followed by sausage (21.7%). However, it is assumed that the dietitians might have mistaken the pressed ham for the classic ham. The most common frequency of the serving processed meat product in the food services was once a month (41.6%). Most desired aspect of quality improvement for the processed meat products was answered as 'hygiene/safety' (31.5%), and followed by 'higher quality' (26%). In conclusion, the improvement of the product quality and the strengthening of public information would be prerequisites for expanding the use of processed meat products in the food services and business-to-business (B2B) market in the future.

광산배수 자연정화시설 내 버섯퇴비의 중금속 흡착능력 평가

휴 폐 광산으로부터 유출되는 산성광산배수는 낮은 pH와 다량의 중금속 이온을 포함하고 있어 지하수·하천 오염 및 주변 환경 파괴의 원인이 되고 있다. 본 연구는 자연정화시설에서 기질물질의 흡착 특성 평가에 중점을 두었다. 이를 위해 버섯퇴비에 의해 광미로부터 용출된 중금속이 흡착 처리 되는 과정에서 황산염환원균의 영향을 파악하였고, $Cd^{2+}$, $Cu^{2+}$, $Pb^{2+}$, $Zn^{2+}$을 포함한 인공 광산배수와 버섯퇴비를 반응시켜 중금속 흡착 처리 효율 평가 및 등온흡착곡선에 관해 고찰하였다. 연구 결과 광미에서 용출된 Mn은 미생물 혹은 흡착에 의한 안정화가 이루어지지 않은 것으로 나타났으며. Zn의 경우 황산염환원균에 의한 제거 기작이 중요한 역할을 하고 있음을 보여주었다. Fe는 미생물을 제거한 경우보다 미생물이 존재할 경우 다량의 Fe가 용출되었으며 이는 철환원박테리아가 $Fe^{3+}$를 소모함에 따라 Fe를 포함한 광물이 용해되어 용출되었기 때문이라고 추측된다. 버섯퇴비 투여 시 산화환원전위 (Oxidation Reduction Potential) 와 pH 측정을 통해 환원 환경 및 중성 환경이 조성됨을 확인 할 수 있었다. 인공 광산배수를 사용한 흡착실험결과 pH 6 조건에서 버섯퇴비의 중금속 흡착 효율이 90% 이상으로 매우 높게 나타났으며, pH 3 조건에서는 보다 낮은 흡착 효율을 보였다. Acid mine drainage (AMD) from abandoned mine sites typically has low pH and contains high level of various heavy metals, aggravating ground- and surface water qualities and neighboring environments. This study investigated removal of heavy metals in a biological treatment system, mainly focusing on the removal by adsorption on a substrate material. Bench-scale batch experiments were performed with a mushroom compost to evaluate the adsorption characteristics of heavy metals leached out from a mine tailing sample and the role of SRB in the overall removal process. In addition, adsorption experiments were perform using an artificial AMD sample containing $Cd^{2+}$, $Cu^{2+}$, $Pb^{2+}$ and $Zn^{2+}$ to assess adsorption capacity of the mushroom compost. The results indicated Mn leached out from mine tailing was not subject to microbial stabilization or adsorption onto mushroom compost while microbially mediated stabilization played an important role in the removal of Zn. Fe leaching significantly increased in the presence of microbes as compared to autoclaved samples, and this was attributed to dissolution of Fe minerals in the mine tailing in a response to the depletion of $Fe^{3+}$ by iron reduction bacteria. Measurement of oxidation reduction potential (ORP) and pH indicated the reactive mixture maintained reducing condition and moderate pH during the reaction. The results of the adsorption experiments involving artificial AMD sample indicated adsorption removal efficiency was greater than 90% at pH 6 condition, but it decreased at pH 3 condition.
압전 구동방식 마이크로 펌프에서 기하학적 형상과 작동조건에 따른 펌핑특성에 대한 실험적 연구

In the present experimental study, the pumping performances of diffuser/nozzle based piezoelectric micropumps are estimated with different operating factors and geometries. Here, the effects of the input voltage and frequency on the pumping performances have been examined together with the influences of the positions of the inlet and outlet. The results show that the flow rate of the micropump is larger with larger input voltage with the largest flow rates for the frequency to be close to 6.0 ㎐ all through the current experimental study. Also, it has been found that the positions of the inlet and outlet affect much on the performance of the piezoelectric micropumps. Error estimation has been carried out for the evaluation of the pumping performance in association with the uncertainty of the measurement.

아동과 청소년은 생활의 중심이 가정에서 학교 로 이동하게 되고, 다양한 사회적 관계를 형성해 나간다. 아동과 청소년에게 있어서 자기조절은 자 기효능감을 증진시키고 긍정적인 자아개념을 형 성하는 중요한 역할을 한다. 자기조절을 못하는 청소년은 학업성취가 낮고, 정서 및 사회적으로 부적응적이고 충동적이며 공격적인 행동 경향을 보이며, 폭력을 행사하거나 반사회적 행동을 보일 가능성이 높다. 더구나 이러한 특징들은 성인기까 지 지속될 수 있으므로 청소년의 자기조절이 더 욱 중요하게 다루어져야 한다(Mischel, Shoda & Peake, 1988, 이명진, 2011, 재인용).
발효(醱酵) 천궁(川芎)의 항산화 및 항당뇨 활성(活性)에 관한 연구(硏究)

Objectives: We investigated the antioxidant and Antidiabetic effects of Cnidii Rhizoma Fermentata by Aspergillus oryzae and Aspergillus Kawauchi for 3days. Methods: In this study we compared Cnidii Rhizoma Fermentata with Aspergillus oryzae and Aspergillus Kawauchi that examined using reducing sugar, DPPH radical scavenging activity, α-amylase and α-glucosidase inhibitory activity. Also determined changes of pH and sugar content during fermentation for 3days. Results: The values for DPPH radical scavenging activity of Cnidii Rhizoma fermented by Aspergillus oryzae (86.6%) was higher than that of Aspergillus Kawauchi (77.9%). In α-amylase inhibitory activity, fermented by Aspergillus Kawauchi had the highest inhibitory activity among other groups. But in α-glucosidase inhibitory activity, fermented by Aspergillus oryzae had the highest inhibitory activity among other groups. While all groups of the sugar content increased During 3days fermentation, the pH was decreased. Conclusions: Based on these results, It was suggested that Cnidii Rhizoma Fermentata can be a useful and cost-effective resource for fuctional food and medicine.
