        지하수자원의 경제적 가치 평가 적용과 관련한 최근동향

        Total Economic Value (TEV) provides a framework to estimate the economic value of water resources including groundwater with multiple applications to natural resource economics and environmental economics. Crucial to the application of economic analysis to natural resources are techniques to value the resources as an economic value that is expressed in monetary terms. On the other hand, the aim of TEV estimation is to determine the economic value of water resources including ‘use’ with production and recreation and ‘non-use’ such as existence values. TEV is used to assess the economic value of water resources for the multiple goods, and environmental ‘services’ that are provided by a water resource and also used to assess options for water use, for example balancing production values provided by water resource use against the cost of resource degradation by that use. The value of TEV can be assessed over time where pollution or unsustainable use may reduce the economic value of an environmental asset. Therefore, values are used to assess options of resource use, sometimes leading to policies on resource conservation or allocation. In conclusion, the application of TEV would be well adjusted over Jeju Island where groundwater resources account for more than 98%water resources and the budget of water demand/supply shows disparity over the Island.

        Modulith SLK 체외충격파쇄석기를 이용한 요로결석 440례의 임상경험

        Purpose: We describe our clinical experience of extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy(SWL) using Modulith SLK in 440 cases of urinary calculi. Materials and Methods: The records of 440 cases of urinary stones treated by Modulith SLK lithotriptor, from October, 2002 to June, 2004, were reviewed retrospectively. The size and location of stones, number of sessions, auxiliary procedures, success rate and complications were statistically analysed. Results: The total success rate was 95.7%(421/440 cases), and according to stone location was 98.2% in the kidney and 94.1% in the ureter. The success rate according to stone size was 97.1%, 91.1%, 92.9% and 80% for below 10mm, 11-20mm, 21-30mm and over 30mm, respectively. The success rate within 3 sessions was 82.7%. The average number of treatment session was 2.14. The complications after SWL were gross hematuria in 316 cases(71.8%), renal colic in 83(18.9%), steinstrasse in 19(4.3%), and fever in 2(0.5%). All of the complications were controlled by conservative management only. As an auxiliary procedure, double J stent insertion was done in 22 cases, percutaneous nephrostomy(PCN) in 1, ureteroscopic removal of stone(URS) in 15, percutaneous nephrolithotomy(PNL) in 3, and ureterolithotomy in 1. Conclusions: Modulith SLK lithotriptor is considered to be an effective and safe tool for the first line treatment of urinary calculi.

        3차원 구조를 고려한 전기비저항 탐사자료 해석을 통한 국내 저수지 제체 안전성 분석

        저수지 제체는 3차원 전기비저항 구조로 구성되어 있기 때문에, 전기비저항 격자구조에 담수호의 수위변화에따른 제체 내부의 침윤선 변동과 함께 담수호의 전기전도도가 고려되지 않는 경우 전기비저항 역산 결과가 왜곡될 수 있다. 이 연구에서는 3차원 전기비저항 탐사 모델링을 통하여, 저수지의 3차원 비저항 구조와 저수지 수위의 변화에 따른제체 내부의 비저항 변화를 해석하였다. 이 분석 결과에 근거하여 국내 283개소 저수지를 대상으로 3차원 모델링에 의한2차원 이론자료와 현장 2차원 탐사자료에 대한 역산 결과를 비교하였다. 마지막으로 두 역산의 비가 50% 이상이 되는저수지를 추가 정밀조사 대상 저수지로 선정하였다. Resistivity inversion result may be distorted if the seepage line fluctuation within central core with the change of reservoir water level as well as the conductivity of the reservoir water is not taken into consideration because the reservoir dike is composed of three-dimensional (3D) resistivity structure. Consequently, to accurately analyze the resistivity changes inside the reservoir dike according to the change of reservoir water level, 3D electrical resistivity modeling for the 2D survey line considering topography and physical properties of dam components was carried out. In addition, 2D inversion was performed with the simulated 2D resistivity data for a given 3D model in order to compare it with the inversion result of real field data. For 283 reservoirs in Korea, 2D inversion results for the simulated 2D data and field 2D resistivity data were compared. Finally, the reservoirs with an inversion ratio of 50% or less were selected as reservoirs that require further precise investigation.

        방조제 제체 보강에 따른 기수호 수질 및 제체 수리지질 특성 변화

        To evaluate the effectiveness of reinforcement for prevention of seawater inflow through embankment, we carried out the spatial analysis with kriging method for measured electrical conductivities (EC) at eight points located within the brackish water reservoir and analyzed cross-correlation of water level variations with tide at four monitoring wells at the embankment before and after the reinforcement. From the EC variation during two years before and after reinforcement, it was inferred that seawater inflow regions were through the lower region of embankment where the high EC regions were identified before reinforcement while the high EC regions were moved to the inner brackish water reservoir after reinforcement. From correlation analysis results of water level variations at selected monitoring wells with tide, it was demonstrated that integrity of the embankment was improved because both time lags and maximum cross-correlation coefficient values were markedly increased and decreased, respectively. From this study, these two methods are revealed to be effective to evaluate reinforcement for embankment. 방조제 제체를 통한 해수유입의 차단 효과를 평가하기 위하여, 기수호 내 8개 지점에서 보강공사 전후 약 2년간 정기적으로 심도별 전기전도도 및 온도 변화를 측정하였다. 또한 제체에 설치된 4곳의 수위관측공에서 측정된 수위변화 자료를 조위변화와 교차상관분석을 실시하였다. 약 2년간의 전기전도도 분포를 분석한 결과 보강공사 이전에 북서쪽에 형성된 높은 전기전도도 분포 범위가 보강공사 이후 서쪽으로 변화했으며, 전체적으로 전기전도도값이 낮아지는 것으로 나타났다. 제체에 설치된 수위관측공의 수위변화 자료를 조위와 교차상관 분석한 결과 시간지연과 교차상관계수가 각각 현저하게 증가 및 감소함에 따라 제체 보강공사에 의한 해수유입 현상이 차단되는 것으로 나타났다. 결과적으로 정기적인 기수호내의 전기전도도 공간분석과 조위변화에 따른 제제내의 수위변화의 교차상관분석 기법은 방조제 제체의 보강효과를 평가하는데 유용한 것으로 밝혀졌다.

        제주도 지하수 관정 내 질산성질소 오염도 평가

        In this study, the evaluation standard for nitrate nitrogen contamination degree (WELCUP) was established using six factors that influence the groundwater quality in Jeju Island. To do this, weightings, ranges, and ratings were assigned for each factor and the relative possibility of nitrate nitrogen contamination degree was evaluated using WELCUP index for each well. As a result of calculating the WELCUP index using groundwater quality data of 5,112 wells in Jeju Island for 27 years (1993-2019), all 61 wells with the WELCUP index value higher than 100 are distributed in Daejung and Hangyung watershed with relatively large area of farmland in Jeju Island. In particular, as the ratio of private wells is more than 64%, it is necessary that systematic management is needed for private wells in terms of nitrate nitrogen contamination. Consequently, based on the results of applying the WELCUP evaluation standard, it is necessary to select the prioritization of nitrate nitrogen contamination pathways project for groundwater wells in Jeju Island.

        물수지 분석법을 이용한 제주도 권역별 미래 농업용 지하수 공급 가능량 추정

        To evaluate the available groundwater supply to the agricultural water demand in the future with the climate change scenariosfor 40 sub-regions in Jeju Island, groundwater recharge and the available groundwater supply were estimated using waterbalance analysis method. Groundwater recharge was calculated by subtracting the actual evapotranspiration and directrunoff from the total amount of water resources and available groundwater supply was set at 43.6% from the ratio of thesustainable groundwater capacity to the groundwater recharge. According to the RCP 4.5 scenario, the availablegroundwater supply to the agricultural water demand is estimated to be insufficient in 2020 and 2025, especially in thewestern and eastern regions of the island. However, such a water shortage problem is alleviated in 2030. When applying theRCP 8.5 scenario, available groundwater supply can’t meet the water demand over the entire decade.

        물리탐사자료를 이용한 수리지질구조 해석 - 충청북도 청원지역

        A set of geophysical survey results over an area in Bookil-myun, Chungwon-Gun, Chengcheong-buk-Do is presented; resistivity logging, d.c. sounding, dipole-dipole resistivity, and controlled-sorce magnetotelluric (CSMT) surveys. These surveys were chosem in this research for the estimation of the basement depth and the delineation of the hydrogeologic srtucture over the survey area. The results provide an optiomal input to a hydrogeologic medeling analysis usinf the strategies built in GIS softwater. A total of 14 lines of dipole-dipole resistivity surveys, 25 stations of D.C sounding and 6 stations of CSMT sounding were performed. In addition 10 boreholes were chosen for resistiveity logging to correlate the logs to the surface data. A quantitative information on the hydrogeologic structure over the are is provided by synthesizing the results from various geophysical data and attribute layers are constructed by utilizing a GIS software Arc/Info. The constructed layers match well to the hydrogeologic structures, which were outlined from the drilling data. The methodology tested and adopted in this study would be useful for providing a more reliable input to the hydrogeologic model setup.
