        일본 상징천황제와 전후민주주의의 딜레마― 생전퇴위문제와 관련하여 ―

        The Emperor of Symbolic System of Japan strictly restricts on the role of Tennou. Gaps between provision and reality are revealed when current Tennou who had played a role of national unification asked abdication insisting hard work. The rightists who had objected consistently to the Tennou’s activity for the protection of the weak and the responsibility of the war opposed to the abdication and out of provided activities. The liberals, on the contrary, highly appraised Tennou’s out of constitutional role as a keeper of postwar democracy. These strange context arises from the weakness of Japanese democracy that does not have political bodies any more which had achieved liberal democracy.

        ‘유바리(夕張) 문제’를 통해서 본 일본의 지방제도 개혁

        In 2006 for the first time in Japan, Yubari city in Hokkaido declared fiscal collapse due to huge amount of debt. She has no choice but to accept harsh structural reform plan offered by central government. Though Yubari’s fiscal crisis is mainly due to incapability of adaptation to the central government’s structural change of regional policy which is called ‘Trinity Reform’, only Yubari’s moral hazard, an irresponsible fiscal management and illegal accounting operation, was greatly emphasized. New Rights in Japan could hold the power since 2000 by combining structural reform based on neoliberalism and nationalism which insists on escaping from post war system. In order to eliminate dissatisfaction caused by social disparity due to structural reform, loyal attitude to ‘country and home town (okuni/furusato)’ has been recalled. In these context, the case of Yubari city could be recognized as ‘Kiriste’(discard) of the weak. Selfresponsibility theory is, as usual, used as an explanation when government transfers their burdens to individual, it has been spread in transformed form in Yubari’s case as the penalty for moral hazard, that the fiscal crisis comes from their own fault. The frame of self-responsibility has been working for protecting the disputes on the efficiency of fiscal policy to Yubari city, and it gives central government an indulgence to discarding regional policy.

        폐(廢)타이어 탄소잔류물(炭素殘留物)의 열처리(熱處理) 조건(條件)에 따른 카본 기공특성(氣孔特性) 연구(硏究)

        폐타이어를 열분해하여 오일을 회수하는 공정에서 배출되는 다량의 탄소 잔류물을 활용하는 기술은 환경과 경제성 측면에서 매우 중요하다. 본 연구에서는 폐타이어 열분해 과정에서 배출되는 탄소 잔류물을 활용하여 활성탄으로 재활용이 가능한지 파악하고자 하였다. 이를 위해서 폐타이어 열분해 상용화 공정에서 발생하는 탄소 잔류물의 특성을 분석하였다. 아울러 탄소 잔류물을 $600^{\circ}C$와 $800^{\circ}C$에서 1시간 탄화 한 후, $950^{\circ}C$에서 3시간 활성화하여 기공특성 변화를 살펴보았다. 탄소잔류물의 비표면적은 $8.0m^2/g$이었으나, 탄화와 활성화 과정을 거치면서 비표면적이 $548.3m^2/g$로 급격히 증가함을 확인할 수 있었다. The recycling technology of carbon residue produced from the process of oil recovery in waste tire pyrolysis is significant in environmental and economical aspects. This study was done to figure out the recycling possibility of carbon residue to activated carbon. For this, the characteristics of the carbon residue obtained from the commercial pyrolysis process of waste tire were studied. Also, the variation of pore structure of carbon residue was studied after 1 hour of carbonization at $600^{\circ}C$ and $800^{\circ}C$ and 3 hours of activation at $950^{\circ}C$. The specific surface area of the carbon residue was $8.0m^2/g$ and it increased to $548.3m^2/g$ after carbonization and activation.

        지상파 DMB용 Outer 인코더/디코더의 설계 및 구현

        In this paper, we designed the outer encoder/decoder for the terrestrial DMB that is an advanced digital broadcasting standard, implemented, and verified by using ALTERA FPGA. In the encoder part, it was created the parity bytes (16 bytes) from the input packet (188byte) of MPEG-2 TS and the encoded data was distributed output by the convolutional interleaver for preventing burst errors. In the decoder part, it was proposed the algorithm that detects synchronous character suitable to DMB in transmitted data from the encoder. The circuit complexity in RS decoder was reduced by applying a modified Euclid's algorithm. This system has a capability to correct error of the maximum 8 bytes in a packet. After the outer encoder/decoder algorithm was verified by using C language, described in VHDL and implemented in the ALTERA FPGA chips. 본 논문에서는 차세대 디지털 방송규격인 지상파 DMB용 Outer 인코더/디코더를 설계 하고 ALTERA의 FPGA를 이용하여 구현하고 검증하였다. 인코더 부분에서는 입력되는 MPEG-2 TS 패킷(188바이트)으로부터 비트 시리얼 알고리즘을 이용한 RS(Reed-Solomon) 인코더를 이용해 패리티바이트(16바이트)를 생성하고 군집에러를 효과적으로 수정하기위해 콘볼루션 인터리버를 구현해 데이터를 분산 출력 시켰다. 디코더 부분에서는 인코더에서 송신된 데이터에서 DMB에 적합한 동기바이트 검출하는 알고리즘을 제시하였으며, RS디코더는 수정된 유클리드 알고리즘을 적용하여 회로구성을 간략화 하였다. 본 시스템은 하나의 패킷에서 최대 8바이트의 에러를 수정할 수 있고, C언어를 이용하여 알고리즘을 검증하고 VHDL로 작성하였으며, FPGA 칩 상에서 회로를 검증하였다.

        Effects of compounds isolated from a Litsea japonica fruit extract on the TNF-α signaling pathway and cell viability

        Tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) plays an important role in inflammatory responses. Deregulated activation of TNF-α signaling is associated with various inflammatory diseases. In view of the finding that the seventy percent ethanol extract of Litsea japonica (LJE) interferes with TNF-α-induced NF-κB activation, activity- guided fractionation was performed to identify the active components of the extract. The EtOAc, CH2Cl2 and n-Hexane fractions of LJE induced suppression of inhibitor of κB (IκB) kinase (IKK), p38 mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) and c-Jun N-terminal kinase (JNK), and significant reduction of TNF-α- induced NF-κB activation. From the CH2Cl2 fraction, hamabiwalactone A, hamabiwalactone B, litsenolide B2 and litsenolide C2 were identified to inhibit TNF- α-induced NF-κB activation. The cytotoxic activities of these lactone compounds were additionally evaluated.
