        수학자 보재 이상설(李相卨)의 근대자연과학 수용 -『백승호초(百勝胡艸)』를 중심으로-

        본 논문은 한국 근대수학교육의 아버지 이상설(李相卨, 1870-1917)이 자연과학―물리학―에 기여한 내용을 다루고있다. 이상설은 ?수리(數理)?를 쓴 시기를 전후하여, 같은 시기에 붓으로 총 8면에 걸쳐 『백승호초(百勝胡艸)』라는이름의 고전물리학 원고를 써서 남겼다. 분석결과 이 책의 원전은 1879년에 동경제대 의학부 교재로 발간된 『물리학(物理學)』이다. 이상설은 『백승호초』에서 먼저 개념을 정의하고, 일상에서 나타난 대표적 현상을 선록하여 한문으로번역하였고, 『물리학』의 전체 분량에서도 특히 ‘통유성(通有性)’에 중점을 두고 설명하였다. 동양에서 서양의 수리과학이 들어와야만 말할 수 있는 ‘질량보존의 법칙’, ‘타성(惰性, 관성)’과 같은 고전물리학의 중요개념을 포함하는 내용이 19세기 말에 이미 이 책에 소개된 것으로 보아 이상설은 당대의 다른 저술에서 보기 힘들 정도로 당시 일반물리학의 최고수준의 원서를 통해 최신 정보를 수용하고 전파하기 위하여 노력하였음을 볼 수 있다. Sang-Seol Lee(1870-1917) wrote a manuscript BaekSeungHoCho(百勝胡艸) in the late 19th century. BaekSeungHo-Cho was transcribed in classical Chinese from the 1879 Japanese book Physics(物理學) by Teizo Ihimori (1851-1916). Sang-Seol Lee, a famous independence activist, is also called Father of the Modern Mathematics Education of Korea,because of his early contribution to the modern mathematics education in the 19th century. In this paper, we introduce contents of his manuscript BaekSeungHoCho for the first time and discuss the significance of this book. Also, we show his constribution on the introduction to modern physics in the late 19th century Korea.

      • 다환계 방향족 유기오염물을 함유한 폐수의 전기화학 처리

        This work has concerned the possibility to apply both direct and indirect electrolysis process for the treatment of waste containing poliaromatic compounds. Two different kinds of electrode materials have been used: DSA-type anodes to carry out direct electrolysis and carbon felt cathodes to ferform indirect electrolysis. On the contrary, in the case of the tested wastewater especially containing naphthalen- and anthraquinon sulphonic compounds they do not seem to be very suitable materials. Better results have been achieved using the carbon felt cathodes. In this case the COD of the tested wastewater can be remarkably decreased using H_2O_2 as oxidation agent.

      • 개불과 넙치의 혼합 사육시 성장과 사육환경의 변화

        This present study was conducted to determine the effects of sea water quality and sediment quality on growth and body composition in poly culture system, Paralichthys olivaceus and Urechis unicinctus. The seawater temperature of the experimental groups was ranges of 17.1~23.8℃, the lowest in 0 day and the highest in 70 day. The concentration of COD was 1.2~1.6㎎/ℓ, DIN 6.19~28.89㎎/ℓ in the D group. Mean IL concentration was 5.42~5.07% and it was maximum in 0 day and relatively minimum 70day. The concentration of AVS was 0.36~0.22㎎/g-dry, COD 4.36~4.08㎎/g-dry in the D group. Growth and feed intake of fish were affected by diets and feeding frequencies(P<0.05). There were differences at all experimental groups especially C group and control group but A, B group and C, D group were not difference. The lowest increased body weight was observed 4.7g in the D experimental group and the highest experimental group was observed 8.6g in the C group.

      • 체중감량기간이 심폐기능에 미치는 영향

        Investigate the effects of weight reduction period on cardiovascular before weight loss and during recovery, 10 wrestlers of C and S high shool in Seoul performed 7% weight reduction consisting of 4 days short-term and 20 days long-term weight loss program. And the following results were drawn: 1. Maximum oxygen intake during recovery shoed significant differences in both short-term and long-term weight reduction(p<0.05) and between short-term and long-term weight reduction(p<0.05). 2. AT shoed significant differnces in long weight reduction(p<0.05). And AT during recovery shoed significant differences between short-term and long-term weight reduction(p<0.05). Base on above results, it suggests that long-term weight reduction program in better for 7% weight loss in view of cardiovascular ability.

      • 꽃집 및 꽃 전문 온라인 쇼핑몰의 품목별 매출 실태조사

        광역시 소재 꽃집 10곳과 서울 소재 꽃전문 온라인 쇼핑몰 3곳의 매출실태를 조사하였다. 꽃집의 매출액은 절화상품(65.0%), 관엽식물(19.3%), 난(14.8%), 기타(0.9%)순으로 많았으며, 품목별로는 경조화환(32.5%), 꽃바구니(23.4%), 관엽식물(19.3%), 난(14.8) 순으로 많았다. 온라인 쇼핑몰의 매출액은 절화상품(87.6%), 난(5.8%), 관엽식물(3.4%), 기타(3.2%)순이었으며, 품목별로는 꽃바구니(37.0%), 박스플라워(23.5%), 꽃다발(20.1%), 난(5.8%) 순으로 많았다. 판매건수는 꽃집의 경우 꽃바구니(28.1%), 꽃다발(20.8%), 관엽식물(15.0%)의 비율이 높았으며, 꽃 전문 온라인쇼핑몰은 꽃바구니(34.44%), 박스플라워(27.2%), 꽃다발(23.2%)의 비율이 높았다. 판매단가는 품목에 관계없이 꽃 전문 온라인 쇼핑몰이 꽃집 보다 비싸게 조사되었다. 꽃집에서 꽃 판매 형태는 가정용 절화는 100% 꽃다발은 77%가 직접 방문에 의해 판매되었고, 꽃바구니, 꽃다발, 박스플라워는 80%이상이 전화주문에 의해 구매된 것으로 나타났다. This survey was conducted to investigate the actual condition of flower sale in shopping mall for flower and flower shop, which is located in some metropoltan cities. In the case of flower shop. rate of selling amount is 65% for cut flower, 19.3% for foliage plant, 14.8% for orchid and 0.9% for others. Among the cut flowers, wreath for celebration or condolence account for 32.5%, flower basket 23.4%. foliage plant 19.3% and orchid 14.8%. In the case of online shopping mall, rate of selling amount is 87.6% for cut flower, 5.8% for orchid and 3.4% foliage plant. Number of sale, in flower shop, was very high orderly at flower basket(28.1%), bouquet(20.8%) and foliage plant(15%). However, shopping mall showed that number of sale was high at flower basket(34.4%), box flower(27.2%) orderly. Sale price was higher in online shopping mall than in flower shop independent on items. Form of flower sale, in flower shop, was appeared that 100% for home and 77% for bouquet were soled by visiting, above 80% of flower basket, bouquet and box flower were soled by telephone.

      • 전해질로 나피온을 사용한 Ti/IrO_2 전극상에서 유기물의 양극산화 반응

        This paper describes the anodic oxidation od various alphathic alcohols in pure water using Nafion cation exchange membrane as solid polymer electrolyte. The oxidation has been carried out on an IrO_2 anode under conditions of simultaneous oxygen evolution. The experimental results for the anodic oxidation of four different alcohols are in good agreement with the theoretical model presented in a previous paper. Finally a simple experimental method is described for the determination of the relative reactivity of organics oxidation on IrO_2 anodes.

      • 침전법에 의한 CaCO₃:Sn^(2+) 형광체의 합성

        침전법을 이용하여 CaCO₃를 합성한 후, 활성제로서 Sn^(2+)를 도핑하여 CaCO₃:Sn^(2+) 형광체를 합성하고 결정상과 형상 및 Sn^(2+) 첨가량에 따른 형광특성을 조사하였다. CaCl₂·2H₂O-(NH₄)₂CO₃수용액에 NH₄OH를 첨가하여 pH가 증가하면 입자의 응집이 관찰되지 않고 vaterite상이 장시간 안정하게 존재하였으며 pH 11에서는 1~3㎛의 순수한 구형 vaterite상이 얻어졌다. Vaterite인 구형 CaCO₃:Sn^(2+) 형광체와 열처리한 구형의 calcite형 CaCO₃:Sn^(2+) 형광체는 230 nm에서 최대로 여기되어 465 nm에서 최대 발광강도를 나타내었다. 합성된 CaCO₃:Sn^(2+) 형광체는 결정상과 관계없이 SnCl₂·2H₂O의 첨가량이 2 mol%일 때 가장 강한 발광강도를 나타내었으며, 능면체의 calcite형 CaCO₃:Sn^(2+)형광체는 열처리하여 안정화된 구형의 calcite CaCO₃:Sn^(2+) 형광체와 구형의 vaterite형 CaCO₃:Sn^(2+) 형광체에 비해 높은 발광강도를 나타내었다. Vaterite type of CaCO₃ was synthesized by using the precipitation method(CaCl₂-(NH₄)₂CO₃ system) with addition of NH₄OH at different temperature, time, pH and concentration. As a result, pure vaterite having spherical shape(0.1~10 ㎛ in size) was formed at the condition of high pH(>11) and high concentration(>5 M). CaCO₃:Sn^(2+) phosphors(spherical vaterite) were synthesized at CaCl₂-SnCl₂-(NH₄)₂CO₃-NH₄OH system. CaCO₃:Sn^(2+) phosphors(spherical vaterite) were transformed to CaCO₃:Sn^(2+) phosphors(spherical calcite) by heating at 550℃ for 10 min. The Particle sizes of CaCO₃:Sn^(2+) phosphors(rhombohedral calcite) and CaCO₃:Sn^(2+) phosphors (spherical vaterite) were 10~15 ㎛ and 1~3 ㎛ respectively. The excitation spectrum of CaCO₃:Sn^(2+) phosphors(spherical vaterite and spherical calcite) exhibited a maximum peak intensity at 230 nm with a narrow absorption band from 220 nm to 240 nm. At the excitation spectrum of 275nm, the emission spectrum of CaCO₃:Sn^(2+) phosphor (rhombohedral calcite) with SnCl₂of 2 mol% exhibited a maximum peak intensity at 465 nm of bright blue fluorescence. Also, the emission spectrum of CaCO₃:Sn^(2+) phosphors(spherical vaterite, spherical calcite) exhibited a maximum peak intensity at 465 nm but exhibited weak peak intensity than CaCO₃:Sn^(2+) phosphors(rhombohedral calcite).

      • 마이크로파에 의한 WC의 합성 및 특성에 관한 연구

        Tungsten carbide(WC) powders were synthesized by self-propagating high temperature synthesis(SHS) chemical furnace that microwave heating system. Attempt to find the optimal condition for synthesis of tungsten carbide(WC), the effects of molar ratio between carbon and tungsten, compaction pressure, pellet thickness and heating time of microwave on synthesis were investigated. Powder was synthesized in Ar atmosphere. Chemical fuel was Ti-C mixed powder. Compositional and structural characterization of these powders was carried out by scanning electron microscope(SEM) and x-ray diffraction(XRD). Powder characterization was carried out by the measurement of particle size distribution with laser-particle size analyzer. Tungsten carbide(WC) obtained by microwave depend very much on the mole ratio between carbon and tungsten and heating time of microwave given in a product, i.e. Optimum molar ratio of synthesized powder was tungsten : carbide = 1 : 1.5, pellet thickness 10㎜, compaction pressure l500Psi and microwave heating time was 60sec after propagation to best condition powder. By optimizing the synthesis conditions, it is possible to fabricate tungsten carbide(WC) powders which have little secondary phases.

      • 플라워샵 경영주를 대상으로 한 주요 절화류의 용도별 이용성과 장래성에 대한 조사연구

        Survey for utilization, future availability and demand prospect of 32 cut flowers on 120 flower shop owners was conducted. On the utilization for purposes, out of 32 cut flowers surveyed, cut flowers evaluated as more than 'good' were 15, 14 and 12, in for flower basket, bouquet and home, respectively. Flowers evaluated as less than 'medium' were just 1-2 kinds including standard chrysanthemum. For event decoration and religion, 5 and 8 cut flowers were evaluated as more than 'good'. For consolation garland, celebration garland and bridal bouquet, just 1, 6 and 7 plants were evaluated as more than 'good'. These results indicated that utilization of cut flowers were largely different according to their use purposes. On the future availability, all 32 cut flowers were evaluated as more than 'good' in for religion. Almost plants were evaluated as more than 'medium' excepting standard mum and gerbera in for home, standard mum and china aster in for celebration garland, standard mum in for flower arrangement, houquet, flower basket and event ceremony. However, for consolation garland, just 7 plants including standard mum were evaluated as more than 'medium'. For bridal bouquet, just 5 plants including rose were evaluated as more then 'good'. The importance for purposes of cut flowers is orderly for flower basket > bouquet > celebration garland > consolation garland > bridal bouquet > flower arrangement > event decoration. The demand prospect for purposes of cut flowers was evaluated as more than high in for flower basket and bouquet, as more than medium in for event decoration, home, flower arrangement and religion, and as less than medium in for celebration garland.

        자생식물과 도입 화훼명의 어원 및 유형 비교

        This study was carried out to survey origins of native plants and introduced flowers. Naming of native plants was divided into two types : one type is based on the internal properties of plants(shape, color, length, thickness, size) and the other type on such properties as person, animal, object, place and time which are compared to shapes and properties of plants. Names of native plants originate from shape > color > length > thickness > size > width > number, and also from characteristics > state > inhaitation place and place of origin > flowering and fruiting season > function and use. Prefixes were added in order to describe shapes and properties of plants in detail. About 50% of the names of the introduced flowers, originates from their shapes, about 15% from persons' names and about 13% from mythologies and legends. This shows that countries have different ways naming flowers from other countries and that survey of origins of flower names helps understand the characteristics of the flowers.
