        득량만 키조개, Atrina pectinata의 양성밀도에 따른 성장과 생존율

        Growth and survival rates dependent on the density of a pen sell, Atrina pectinata were measured from Duekryang bay in Korea. Annual water temperature and salinity of the study area were ranged from 14.5 to 28.0℃ and from 27.98 to 31.89 psu, respectively. The pH, DO, COD, DIN, Chl-a and SPM in the study area ranged from 7.78-8.35 mg/L, 7.07-7.90 mg/L, 1.20-1.70 mg/L, 2.88-6.02 mg/L, 0.20-0.79 mg/L and 10.8-21.4 mg/L. The IL, COD and AVS in sediments ranged from 4.0-4.6%, 7.28-10.76 mg/L and 0.03-0.05 mg/L respectively. The daily growth rate of shell height and total weight were 0.27%, 0.33% (5 indiv./m²), 0.26, 0.29% (10 indiv./m²) and 0.21, 0.20% (35 indiv./m2). The survival rate also decreased along the density gradient; highest at the lowest density of 5 indiv./m² and lowest at the maximum density of 35 indiv./m².         대학평생학습의 실태분석과 개혁과제

        This paper explores how higher education in Korea has expanded mainly based on school-aged students, analysing the openness of structure and the heterogeneity of the student body with the data of Korean higher education and OECD education statistics. The study shows that while the enrollment rate of school-aged student in higher education is almost twice as high as that of developed countries such as Australia, Finland and Sweden, the enrollment rate of adults in their thirties is less than one-sixth of that of the three countries. On the other hand, it points out that the participation rate of adults in junior colleges has rapidly increased in response to the sharp decline of the number of school-aged students since 2002. while universities in the Capital area are still less active in recruiting adult learners compared with junior colleges or local universities. As a result, the paper argues that it is important to provide lifelong learning in terms of not only access, but also affordability, quality and performance. And it proposes eight reform agendas to promote high-quality lifelong learning throughout the whole process of access, learning and transition, considering the characteristics of adult learners. 이 연구는 대학평생학습의 실태와 문제점에 대한 분석을 토대로 대학이 직업과 생활세계에서 요구하는 질 높은 평생학습 기회를 제공할 수 있는 방안을 제시하기 위해 고등교육 통계자료, OECD 통계자료 등을 활용해 대학구조의 개방화, 학생 구성의 다양화를 분석했다. 연구결과 우리나라 고등교육은 학령기의 고등교육 취학률이 호주, 핀란드, 스웨덴 등의 선진국에 비해 거의 두 배에 이르는 반면 30대의 교육기관 등록률은 우리나라가 2.1%로 호주, 핀란드, 스웨덴의 6분의 1에도 미치지 못해 지식의 생명주기가 갈수록 짧아지는 지식정보사회에서의 경쟁력 저하가 우려되었다. 한편 2002년 이후 학령기 인구가 급감하자 특히 전문대와 지방대가 신입생 미충원율을 낮추기 위해 성인학습자 특별전형, 계약학과 설치 등을 통해 성인학습자 유치에 적극적인 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 이제는 성인의 고등교육 참여를 ‘접근성’만의 문제가 아닌 ‘학비의 적절성’, ‘교육의 질 보장’, ‘학습의 성과’라는 측면 또한 중시되는 평생학습이 이루어져야 함을 강조했다. 그리고 성인학습자의 대학 등록에서부터 교육 및 이수의 전 과정을 통해 대학이 성인학습자의 특성을 살려 질 높은 평생학습을 활성화하도록 하기 위한 여덟 가지의 개혁과제를 제시했다.

        1980년대 이후 유럽의 학교-직업 이행 정책의 변호와 평생학습과의 관계에 관한 연구 -영국, 독일, 프랑스, 스웨덴을 중심으로-

        본 연구는 1990년대 중반이후 평생학습이 유럽의 여러 국가들에서 핵심 정책으로 부각된 데는 1980년대 이후 청소년층의 대량실업이 심각한 문제가 되면서 학교에서 직업세계로의 이행 정책이 중요한 사회적 이슈가 된 것과 깊은 연관이 있음을 영국, 독일, 프랑스, 스웨덴의 사례를 중심으로 분석하였다. 특히 청소년층의 실업이 지식경제로 전환되면서 생겨나는 구조적 문제로 인식되면서, 이행 정책의 초점이 교육ㆍ훈련과 고용을 연계시키기 위해 평생학습의 제도적 틀을 구축하는 방향으로 나아가는 과정을 분석하였다. 이 연구를 통해 우리나라 정책에 시사점을 줄 수 있는 내용을 다음과 같이 제시하였다. 첫째, 학교에서 직업세계로의 이행정책이 교육ㆍ훈련과 고용을 연계시키는 평생학습 정책으로 발전되어야 한다. 둘째, 평생학습의 촉진을 위해서는 구조적 접근을 통해 통합적 평생학습 체계의 구축이 요구된다. 셋째, 16세 이후의 교육과 훈련에 대한 통합적 접근을 위한 관련 부서의 통합 또는 조정이 필요하다. 넷째, 학습과 고용 그리고 복지 간의 선순환적 연계가 이루어지도록 관련 부처 간의 협력이 요청된다. 다섯째, 이해당사자들의 폭넓은 참여 촉진을 위한 지역 단위의 파트너십과 네트워크에 대한 지원이 강화되어야 한다. Research on European Lifelong Learning Paradigm and Changes in Transition from School to Work - With reference to the UK, Germany, France and Sweden -Choi, Sang-Duk (Korean Educational Development Institute)This paper explores historically why and how transition from school to work have improved to young people for the labour market which require flexibility, mobility and a capacity for lifelong learning in Europe since 1980s with reference to the UK, Germany, France and Sweden. In particular, it explores how the focus of the transition policies in four countries has moved towards building a institutional framework of lifelong learning in order to build closer links between schooling and work. It examines that establishing clear, flexible and coherent pathways based on cooperation among stakeholders has been recognised as a condition for successful transition.The paper suggests five points which contribute to understanding of the implications of improvement of transition policies on lifelong learning policies in South Korea. First, the transition policies need to move towards lifelong learning policies which promote links between education and training and work. Second, a structural approach is required as a prerequisite for promoting lifelong learning as well as building effective transitions policies. Third, ministerial coordination between the Ministry of Education and HRD and the Ministry of Labour is required to a cooperative approach to post-compulsory education and training. Fourth, the link between learning and work and welfare need to be improved on the basis of related ministerial cooperation. Finally, local partnership and networks need to play a key role in involvement of stakeholders in building a lifelong learning framework.

      • 한국산 개불, Urechis unicinctus의 서식생태에 관한 연구

        For the commercial culture of marine echiuran worm Urechis unicinctus, a series of basic ecological study has been conducted for fishery period(November, 1998~April, 1999) in the laboratory and southern coast of Korea. The environmental factors of echiurans' habitat such as water temperature, salinity and dissolved oxygen were ranged 8.0~14.9 °C, 30.1~33.1 psu 7.0~8.9 ㎎/ℓ, respectively. The habitat sediments were composed of coarse sand, sand silt and silty sand. The highest densities and biomass of U. unicinctus were found in areas of the sand silt. In the laboratory, all echiurans performed burrowing success in coarse sand and sand within 24 hours, but none did in silt and clay within 10 days. In sand silt, echiurans enabled to dig 0.7~2.8 burrows/day/ind. And U. unicinctus made a burrow of U shape.

        Protection and Preservation of Clithon retropictus, Level II Endangered Species Declining due to Development Projects Carried out in its Habitat

        Clithon retropictus has been protected by the Ministry of Environment as an endangered species since 1998 and has been listed on the state red list of endangered species category II. It is viewed as a representative for all endangered species in the northeastern coastal waters of Korea. Most of the habitats of C. retropictus have been found to be in an unstable state because of development projects such as road construction, small stream development, irrigation for securing agricultural water, and flood prevention. These habitats are damaged by small stream maintenance projects and development, and the risk of damage is increasing and active efforts are needed in order to protect them. Although the Ministry of Environment is striving to preserve this endangered species, the habitat of C. retropictus is still facing external threats because it spreads to only a small area at high densities. Therefore, in order to protect the habitat of C. retropictus, a level II endangered species, it is urgent to make an effort to minimize habitat damage and to take measures for its protection.

        The effect of different temperature, salinity and pH on survival rate of Urechis unicinctus's swimming embryo was examined to develop the method for the efficient seed production. In addition to, this study was designed to investigate the possibility of pollutant marker diagnosis of marine pollutions by the change in different temperature, salinity and pH. Treatment was carried out whit different temperature (5˚C, 10˚C, 17˚C, 20˚C, 25˚C,), salinity(0‰, 10‰, 20‰, 30‰, 34‰, 40‰) and pH(4, 6, 7.2, 8.2, 9.2, 10). All the swimming embryo of the temperature experiment was survived within all experiment section, but the others experiment were not. At the temperature-shock and tolerance experiment ranging from 5˚C to 25˚C the survival rate was occurred: 75%, 95%, 100%, 100%, 50%, at the ph-Shock experiment ranging from 4 to 10, the survival rate was occurred: 0%, 50%, 85%, 100%, 60%, 0%, at the pH-tolerance experiment ranging 4 to 10 the survival rate was occurred : 0%, 75% 90%, 100%, 80%, 0%, and at the salinity-shock experiment ranging from 0% to 40% the survival rate was occurred : 0% 10% 90% 95% 100% 0% , at the salinity-tolerance experiment ranging from 0% to 40% , the survival rate was occurred : 0% 0% 90% 100% 100% 0%. These results suggest, that the survival rate of larvae of Urechis unicinctus was the highest at 17˚C, 34%. pH8.2 and this Urechis unicinctus could be live at the zone of euryceious and zone of euryhalines

        남해안 양식산 조피볼락에 기생한 Microcotyle sebastisci 의 감염률 변동

        1995년 4월부터 10월까지 전남 가막만과 경남 남해 해역에서 양식하는 조피볼락에 기생하는 아가미흡충 Microcotyle sebastisci의 기생률 변동 및 병리조직학적 변화를 조사하였다. M. sebastisci는 6∼7월에 나타나지 않았고, 주로 새엽 II∼III에 기생하였다. 기생된 부위는 미세한 출혈과 함께 점액이 다량 분비되었다. 남해의 경우 9월에 있어서 감염률, 상대 감염밀도, 평균 감염강도는 각각 40.0%, 30.7, 76.8을 나타내었다. 또한 가막만의 경우는 10월에 감염률, 상대 감염밀도, 평균 감염강도는 각각 46.0%, 40.5, 88.0으로 조사기간 중 가장 높게 나타났다. 병리조직학적 소견으로는 호흡상피세포의 증생, 비후, 새박판간상피세포의 중생과 새변의 곤봉화가 일어났다. 2차적으로 세균의 감염에 의한 아가미 부식도 관찰되었다. We report on the variation of infection and histopathological change of Microcotyle sebastisci parasitic on cultured rockfish, Sebastes schlegeli, in Namhae Islands and Kamak Bay from April to October in 1995. Microcotylosis due to Microcotyle sebastisci occurred among cultured rockfish, Sebastes schlegeli. This parasite was not found on the host fish from June to July. Parasite sites were mainly consist of 2nd and 3rd gill arch's filaments of rockfish. Also, the sites were secreted in large quantity of mucus with a very small bleeding. In Namhae Islands, maximum values of prevalence, relative density and mean intensity were found on September 1995, as 40.0%, 30.7 and 76.8, respectively. In Kamak Bay, maximum values of prevalence, relative density and mean intensity were obtained on October 1995, as 46.0%, 40.5 and 88.0, respectively. Histopathological changes of the heavily infested gills were showed necrosis, epithelium of the gill filaments underwent hyperplasia with fusion of the lamella and filamental clubbing. And a bacterial colony is invaded on the surface of lamella epithelium.
