Silent Discharge와 TiO₂광촉매 산화반응을 이용한 VOCs 처리

This study has been carried out for evaluation of VOCs treatment let out at the industrial field using a silent discharge process through process approvement and TiO₂ photocatalytic oxidation. And it was presented experimental results on the silent discharge plasma and TiO₂ photocatalytic oxidation processes at atmospheric pressure gas streams containing diluted concentrations of benzene, toluene, and xylene out of VOCs. It has shown that each concentration, background gas, flowrate, and applied power have effected on three materials decomposition and byproduct distribution. Analyses of benzene, toluene, xylene and byproduct concentration was carried out by GC-FID.

The purpose of this study was to classify career women's apparel shopper type by analyzing clothing shopping orientations and to compare the classified shopper types on store evaluative criteria, information sources, and demographic characteristics. The questionnaire was administered to 328 career women aged 20~59 years The data were analyzed using factor analysis, cluster analysis, ANOVA, MONAVA, and χ²test. The results of this study were as follows; Eight factors of clothing shopping orientation derived by factor analysis. Four shopper types were classified by cluster analysis: Apathetic shopper, High shopping involved shopper, Conformable shopper, Economic shopper type. Store evaluative criteria information sources and demorgraphic characteristics were significantly different among four shopper types.
플라즈마를 이용한 VOCs 중 트리클로로에틸렌의 처리에 관한 연구

This study has carried out for evaluation of Trichloroethylene treatment let out at the working place using a silent discharge, one out of methods to control Volatile Organic Compounds. 1. Comparative test for Ozone creation as a function of whether Trichloroethylene included or not, both of them were increased by 270ppm when the electric field intensity goes up(~30kV/cm) and dry air condition included Trichloroethylene were high more or less. It is expected that Trichloroethylene has an influence on Ozone creation as Ozone presecution substance. 2. Input Trichloroethylene concentration and flow rate related to electric field intensity had effect on decomposition efficiency. Trichloroethylene decomposition efficiency increased with rising of applied voltage. But, Treatment efficiency were lower than N₂ condition, in case of using dry air as diluted gas, due to dissipation of electron energy by triplet oxygen molecules. 3. The more increased concentration(100, 200 and 300ppm1, the lower decreased removal efficiency(96, 93.6, 90.3% at N₂ and 86, 84, 90% at dry air) and these tendencies were released at the flow rate(1, 2 and 3 ℓ / min) similarly. 4. Byproducts generated by oxidation of Trichloroethylene-Carbon monooxide, Ozone, Methyl Chloride, Chlorofom, l,l,l-Trichloroethane and Tetrachloroethylene were found out.

In the present study the hepatoprotective and antioxidative effects of Epimedium koreanum (EK) and Salicornia herbacea (SH) were investigated against carbon tetrachloride (CCl_(4))-induced liver damage in rats. EK and SH (100 mg/kg) were administered into rats intraperitoneally (i.p) for 2 weeks. After CCl_(4) a dose of 3.3ml/kg was administered to induce hepatotoxicity. This antioxidative effects of EK and SH on CCl_(4) -treated rats were measured through the activity of Aspartate aminotransferase (AST), Alanine aminotransferase (ALT) in serum and Superoxide dismutase (SOD), Catalase (CAT) in liver tissue. EK or SH-administered and CCl_(4) -treated (ECT or SCT) groups showed inhibitory effects in AST and ALT activities compared to CCl_(4) -treated control (CTC) group. SOD and CAT in ECT and SCT groups were increased compared to those of CTC group.
Effects of Hydralazine Pretreatment on Esmolol-induced Controlled Hypotension during Spine Surgery

Background: Controlled hypotension improves surgical field and decreases transfusion requirement in surgical patients and can be induced with various kinds of drugs including esmolol and hydralazine. Methods: This study examined the effect of a combination of esmolol and hydralazine as hypotensive agents in spine surgery. In the esmolol group (n = 15), after boluses of esmolol (0.5 mg/kg) injection, esmolol was infused to maintain the mean arterial pressure of 55-65 mmHg. In the hydralazine-esmolol group (n = 15), hydralazine (0.3 mg/kg) was administered 15 minutes before esmolol injection which was done in the same way as that of the esmolol group. Results: The mean arterial pressure decreased to the target range more rapidly in the hydralazine-esmolol group. The heart rate was increased by hydralazine, but reduced by esmolol. The cardiac output remained elevated after hydralazine injection in the hydralazine-esmolol group, and decreased significantly by esmolol in the esmolol group. The administered dose of esmolol was much less in the hydralazine-esmolol group than in the esmolol group. Conclusions: Our data suggest that hydralazine can enhance the efficacy of esmolol-induced controlled hypotension. It can reduce the requirement of esmolol and maintain a higher cardiac output during hypotension. (Korean J Anesthesiol 2006; 50: S 31~5)
유산소 및 저항 복합 트레이닝이 중년 비만여성의 근력, 체지방, 최대산소섭취량 및 혈액성분에 미치는 효과

The aim of this study was to assess the effect of 12 weeks exercise on body composition(weight loss), V˙ O2max, lipids and lipoproteins in 40 adult obesity women. Also to investigate the cardiopulmonary function following improvement of lipids and lipoproteins response. Subjects were 48.93±7.71 years old. The height was 161.19±7.54㎝, weight was 59.80±8.07㎏. All subjects performed aerobic combined with resistance training for 50 minutes 3 times per week by treadmill, ergometer, and stepper. and weight training, stretching exercise together practiced for 30 minutes 3 times a week. After 12 weeks aerobic and weight training or stretching exercise. The main findings of this study summarized as follows: the changes of weight was reduced significantly(p<0.01), %body fat was reduced significantly(p<0.01). The blood total cholesterol, and TG were no significant differences. The cardiopulmonary function(VO₂max) indicated higher significantly(p<0.01) according to improvement of lipoproteins profile. Also comparisons of quadriceps and hamstring peak torques relative to body weight were significantly low(p<.05) in exercisers. In conclusion, The body weight, %body fat, blood lipoproteins, VO₂max and muscular strength were significantly following to 12 weeks aerobic and resistance training or stretching exercise for 80 minutes per session 3 times a week. The cardiopulmonary fitness also had significantly higher according to improvement of lipoproteins after 12 weeks exercise. Therefore regular aerobic and resistance training or stretching exercise should have positive effects on body composition, serum lipoproteins profile, cardiopulmonary function and muscular strength.
