유아의 기질과 아버지의 양육참여도 및 어머니의 양육효능감이 유아의 정서조절에 미치는 영향 = The Effects of Children`s Temperament, Father`s Child-rearing Involvement and Mother`s Parenting Efficacy on Young Children`s Emotional Self-regulation

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to examine the direct and indirect effect of children`s temperament, father`s child-rearing involvement and mother`s parenting efficacy on young children`s emotional self-regulation. The subject of this study consisted of 398 3, 4, and 5-year-old children and their mothers. Young children`s temperament and emotional self-regulation, father`s child-rearing involvement and mother`s parenting efficacy were to assess by mother`s report. The collected data were analyzed with Pearson`s correlation and structural equational modelling analysis. The results were as follows: first, social and emotional temperament was to found to affect young children`s emotional self-regulation directly and indirectly through father`s child rearing involvement and mother`s parenting efficacy. Second, father`s child rearing involvement was found to affect young children`s emotional self-regulation indirectly through mother`s parenting efficacy. Third, mother`s parenting efficacy was found to affect young children`s emotional self-regulation directly and to have a mediating effect between young children`s temperament and emotion regulation, and between father`s child rearing involvement and young children`s emotional self-regulation. Additionally young children`s emotional temperament was found to be the most important variable predicting emotional self-regulation.
