Efficient Random Saliency Map Detection
Zhiyong Huang,Fazhi He,Xiantao Cai (사)한국CDE학회 2010 한국CAD/CAM학회 국제학술발표 논문집 Vol.2010 No.8
Most image retargeting algorithm rely heavily on valid saliency map detection to proceed. But the inefficiency of high quality saliency map detection severely restricts applications of these image retargeting methods. In this paper, we describe a random algorithm for efficient context-aware saliency map detection. Our method is a multiple level saliency map detection algorithm which integrates multiple level coarse saliency maps into result saliency map and selectively updates unreliable regions of saliency map to refine detection results. With the virtue of randomized search, our method just needs very little extra memory beyond the input image and result, map, and does not need build auxiliary data structures to accelerate saliency map detection. We implemented our algorithm on GPU, the performance of the proposed algorithm was demonstrated on a variety of images and video sequences, and was compared with the state of the art in image processing.

Hysteresis effects in self-luminous devices like organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) and perovskite light-emitting diodes (PeLEDs) have been discovered recently, besides emerging in thin film transistors (TFTs). However, the influences of lateral leakage caused by next-door devices on hysteresis effects in flexible OLEDs array have rarely been demonstrated. To mitigate the impact of lateral leakage and figure out the detailed relationship with hysteresis effects, a series of experiments for OLEDs array involving p-doping in holes transport layer (HTL) were employed. It is found that the lateral leakage and hysteresis effects have a trade-off exhibition, which means stronger lateral leakage has induced weaker hysteresis effects. In order to get rid of the role of lateral leakage, the experiments with mono blue devices were also performed to substantiate the intrinsic hysteresis effects existence. The research opens the possibility of considering more internal relationships between different performances on self-luminous arrays for their actual application.

Purpose: The aim of this study was to quantify renal microcirculatory perfusion in braindead donors using contrast-enhanced ultrasonography (CEUS), and to establish an accurate, noninvasive, and convenient index for predicting delayed graft function (DGF) post-transplantation. Methods: In total, 90 brain-dead donor kidneys (training group, n=60; validation group, n=30) examined between August 2020 and November 2022 were recruited in this prospective study. CEUS was performed on the kidneys of brain-dead donors 24 hours before organ procurement and time-intensity curves were constructed. The main measures were arrival time, time to peak, and peak intensity of the kidney segmental arteries, cortex, and medulla. Recipients were divided into DGF and non-DGF groups according to early post-transplant graft function. The area under the receiver operating characteristic curve (AUC) was used to assess diagnostic performance. Results: The arrival time of the kidney segmental artery and cortex and the time interval between the time to peak of the segmental artery and cortex were identified as independent factors associated with DGF by multivariate stepwise regression analysis. A new index for the joint prediction model of three variables, the contrast-enhanced ultrasonography/Kidney Donor Profile index (CEUS-KDPI), was developed. CEUS-KDPI showed high accuracy for predicting DGF (training group: AUC, 0.91; sensitivity, 90.5%; specificity, 92.3%; validation group: AUC, 0.84; sensitivity, 75.0%; specificity, 92.3%). Conclusion: CEUS-KDPI accurately predicted DGF after kidney transplantation. CEUS may be a potential noninvasive tool for bedside examinations before organ procurement and may be used to predict early renal function after kidney transplants kidneys from donors after brain death.
Structural Deformation of Existing Horseshoe-Shaped Tunnels by Shield Overcrossing
Weiqiang Qi,Zhiyong Yang,Yusheng Jiang,Xiaokang Shao,Xing Yang,Qing He 대한토목학회 2021 KSCE Journal of Civil Engineering Vol.25 No.2
In urban areas, the construction of subway tunnels is faced with complex crossing problems. The interaction of tunnels with structural deformation has not been comprehensively studied, especially in the construction of new tunnels crossing above existing tunnels. To better predict the structural deformation of the existing tunnels caused by shield excavation, this study used FLAC3D finite difference software, field monitoring, and an analytical method. A numerical model was used to simulate the influence of the shield weight, grouting pressure, and the grout hardening process on the existing tunnel. The results show that the deformation of horseshoe-shaped tunnel structure can be divided into four stages and the corresponding control measures should be taken for each stage to prevent the structural damage. Moreover, the weight of the shield can restrain the existing tunnel from floating up, but it may cause the cracking of the existing tunnel structure without internal steel support. Based on the “two-stage analysis method”, the simplified analytical method solved the additional stress and the uplift deformation in the first stage and second stage, respectively. The proposed analytical method can rapidly estimate the maximum uplift deformation of the existing horseshoe-shaped tunnel with different bending stiffness values under shield excavation.
The Research of the Recommendation Algorithm in Online Learning
Ruiguo Yu,Zhiyong Cai,Xiuping Du,Muwen He,Zan Wang,Binlan Yang,Peng Chang 보안공학연구지원센터 2015 International Journal of Multimedia and Ubiquitous Vol.10 No.4
Recommendation algorithm is a kind of method in information filtering and has been widely applied on Internet. Collaborative filtering is widely used in the recommendation systems and has turned out to be successful. With the growth of the resources, it is difficult for users to find learning resources that suit for themselves. The recommendation algorithm is required to analyze the behavior of the users and then recommend object of learning. Online judge is a kind of the online learning. People can evaluate their programming ability through online judge. The performance of the different recommendation algorithms is analyzed in this paper and it is proposed that the item-based collaborative filtering recommendation algorithms should be applied into the online learning system. Based on the algorithm, we propose that by pre-processing the data and using user data that have solve large number of problems, we can get a better recommendation result.
One-Dimensional Topological Entities Matching for Heterogenous Data Exchange
Xiaoxia Li,Fazhi He,Xiantao Cai,Zhiyong Huang (사)한국CDE학회 2010 한국CAD/CAM학회 국제학술발표 논문집 Vol.2010 No.8
In the process of feature-based data exchange (FBDE), one-dimensional topological entities are always used as references or operational objects in the source CAD system. To ensure FBDE, the corresponding one-dimensional topological entities in the target CAD system should be found to match the source ones. In this paper we describe in detail an algorithm for supporting the match for FBDE. The algorithm has been used in the procedure recovery architecture. It has efficiently improved the import algorithm used in the UPR.

This work aimed to investigate the effects of stored raw meat and process procedures onNε-carboxymethyl-lysine (CML) and Nε-carboxyethyl-lysine (CEL) generation in meat products. Meatproducts of raw pork were sterilized and pasteurized at different storage times (0-4 months) and theCML/CEL contents were determined. The results showed that the extent of lipid and protein oxidationof raw pork increased with increasing storage time. A linear correlation was found betweenthiobarbituric acid-reactive substances value/carbonyl content and CML/CEL in sterilized meatproducts, indicating that stored raw pork could promote CML/CEL formation under high temperatureprocessing. Furthermore, mild heating temperatures seemed to favor CML formation, while hightemperature could accelerate CEL generation. Therefore, formation kinetics of CML and CEL might bedifferent for different process procedures. These results suggested that stored raw meat andprocessing temperature could significantly affect CML and CEL generation in meat products.
