Lactobacilli have been used to treat many gastrointestinal disorders. But the outcome of Lactobacilli are strain specific. The strain Lactobacillus Fermentum, HY01, (LF-HY01) has a good performance in the environment of gastrointestinal tract. In this study, the aim is to investigate the preventive effects of LF-HY01 against activated-carbon- induced constipation in mice. Mice are randomized into four groups. Normal group was fed a normal diet, model group also has the same with activated carbon treatment, and low and high concentration groups are treated with LF-HY01. We have determined many indexes such as body weight, water content in faeces, defecation conditions, the level of small intestinal villi damages and levels of various neurotransmitters in serum, including motilin (MTL), gastrin (GT), endothelin (ET), somatostatin (SST), acetylcholinesterase (AchE), substance P (SP), and vasoactive intestinal peptide (VIP). LF-HY01 has no significant difference in each group, but it can significantly improve water content of faeces, defecation time of first black stool and activated carbon propelling rate in small intestine as compared of model group. Furthermore, LFHY01 can effectively prevent small intestinal villi damages, which is less than that of model group. Moreover, LFHY01 has the consistency to increase the levels of MTL, GT, ET, AchE, SP and VIP, and LF-HY01 can also have the ability to reduce the level of SST. These results suggest that Lactobacillus Fermentum, HY01, has a great impact in enhancing intestinal peristalsis ability and has the ability to prevent from activated-carbon-induced constipation in mice.

This study aims to explore the impact of Rehmannioside D (RD) on ovarian functions of rats with diminished ovarian reserve (DOR) and its underlying mechanisms of action. A single injection of cyclophosphamide was performed to establish a DOR rat model, and fourteen days after the injection, the rats were intragastrically administrated with RD for two weeks. Rat estrus cycles were tested using vaginal smears. Ovarian tissues were histologically evaluated, the number of primordial, mature, and atretic follicles was calculated, and the apoptotic rate of granulosa cells. Follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), luteinizing hormone (LH), and estradiol (E2) levels were determined by ELISA assays. Protein levels of Forkhead Box O1 (FOXO1), KLOTHO, Bcl-2, and Bax were investigated in ovarian tissues of DOR rats. The binding between FOXO1 and KLOTHO was verified by ChIP assay. High-dose administration of RD into DOR rats improved their estrus cycles, increased ovarian index, enhanced the number of primordial and mature follicles, reduced the number of atretic follicle number, and ovarian granulosa cell apoptosis in addition to inhibiting FSH and LH levels and upregulating E2 expression. FOXO1 and KLOTHO were significantly suppressed in DOR rats. FOXO1 knockdown partially suppressed the protective effects of RD on DOR rats, and KLOTHO overexpression could restore RD-induced blockade of DOR development despite knocking down FOXO1. FOXO1 antibody enriched KLOTHO promoter, and the binding between them was reduced in DOR group compared to that in sham group. RD improved ovarian functions in DOR rats and diminished granulosa cell apoptosis via the FOXO1/KLOTHO axis

The performance of an urban road-traffic system is affected by many factors, such as the average traffic demand, and the network structure, etc. At the same time, natural disasters, abnormal traffic volume and man-made accidents can result in disturbances which also influence the performance of the system. Resilience of an urban road-traffic system has been an emerging research field. This paper proposes a resilience-oriented performance assessment method based on a traffic flow assignment model to precisely capture the performance of an urban road-traffic system. System functionality is chosen as the key proxy for resilience, which can be calculated based on some index parameters including allocation rate of traffic flow, commuting efficiency on road sections, etc. A case study is implemented in a downtown area in Beijing, China. As to the resilience of the system when faced with huge traffic volume, the results show that the road-traffic system itself has a certain degree of absorption capacity for traffic pressure induced by huge volume. As to the resilience of the system when faced with local network failure, the results show that information dissemination of the network condition and the traffic volume are the key impact factors on system’s resilience curves.
Accumulated Error Correction of Strip Stereo Models Connection withoput GCPs

The commonly used accumulated error correction of strip stereo models connection need a number of GCPs(Ground Control Points), which is unsuitable for low-altitude photogrammetry with a large number of images. In this paper, a novel approach of accumulated error correction of strip stereo models connection without GCPs was proposed. The accumulated error is adjusted by changing reference image and nonlinear polynomial method. Firstly the middle image of a strip is used as reference image. Then the accumulated error of baseline parameters are adjusted by inverse distance weighted method. Finally the rotation angles of relative orientation are adjusted by polynomial formula between the fitted angles and ideal statistics. Experimental results show that the approach is effective and practical, and can significantly reduce the distortion and accumulated error of model connection, may be suitable to implement strip aerial triangulation in low-altitude photogrammetry.

A cooperative assembly route has been developed, by which silver nanoparticles with controlled sizes are incorporated into the channels of ordered cubic mesoporous silica (KIT-6) with different pore sizes (4.3–6.4 nm). The samples were characterized by XRD, TEM, FT-IR, UV-Vis and N2 physisorption. The pore wall of mesoporous silica can efficiently confine the growth of silver nanoparticles within the channels and their average sizes decreased with the pore size reduction of KIT-6. Catalytic activities of the resultant Ag/KIT-6-x (x stands for hydrothermal temperature) composite for reducing harmful organic dye Rhodamine B (Rh B) by sodium borohydride (NaBH4) were investigated. All the Ag/KIT-6 composite samples show great catalytic activities, among which Ag/KIT-6-80 with higher loading and smaller size of Ag nanoparticles exhibits higher catalytic activity than those of Ag/KIT-6-60 and Ag/KIT-6-100.
