Joint Optimization for the Locations of Time Control Points and Corresponding Slack Times for a Bus Route

Yunhao Wang,Yiming Bie,Le Zhang 대한토목학회 2019 KSCE Journal of Civil Engineering Vol.23 No.1

Bus holding strategy is an effective way for alleviating inevitable disruptions along a bus route, including decisions on the control point locations and slack duration. However, at present, the locations of the control points and corresponding slack times are largely determined by engineering experience and therefore lack theoretical optimization. The aim of this study is to develop a model which can jointly optimize the locations of the control points and corresponding slack times under a given number of control points. As locations of the upstream control points will influence the downstream operation states, this optimization problem is modeled as a multi-stage decision process. To evaluate the stability and efficiency of a bus system, we calculate the punctuality rate and travel time at each stage by taking into account the uncertainty along the route and propose a reasonable stage-utilization cost combing these two factors. A numerical case study based on a real bus route in Harbin of China is carried out to demonstrate our approach. The impacts of the weighting factor and slack times on the optimal control point plan are also discussed.

Efficacy of an adhesive nanopesticide on insect pests of rice in field trials

        Gao Yunhao,Li Donglin,Li Dongyang,Xu Pengfei,Mao Kaikai,Zhang Yunhua,Qin Xueying,Tang Tao,Wan Hu,Li Jianhong,Guo Mingcheng,He Shun 한국응용곤충학회 2020 Journal of Asia-Pacific Entomology Vol.23 No.4

Nanopesticides with antiwashing capacity on leaves are the most promising new approaches for sustainable pest management and have been fully evaluated in the laboratory. However, few studies have tested these nanopesticides on pests, and their efficacy under field conditions has not been investigated. In this study, an adhesive hollow mesoporous silica hybrid with well-defined spherical shape and good monodispersity was used as a nanocarrier of cyantraniliprole (CNAP) to fabricate an adhesive nanopesticide (CNAP-HMS-PDAAM). The control efficacy of CNAP-HMS-PDAAM was tested under field conditions. The results indicated that the efficacy of four doses of CNAP-HMS-PDAAM (30.0–69.0 g a.i./ha) against Cnaphalocrocis medinalis (Guénee) 3, 7, and 14 days after spraying did not significantly differ from that of Benevia (34.5 g a.i./ha). Twenty-eight days after spraying, the efficacy of all four doses of CNAP-HMS-PDAAM was significantly better than that of Benevia. Additionally, the efficacy of CNAP-HMS-PDAAM at doses of 34.5, 39.0 and 69.0 g a.i./ha against Chilo suppressalis (Walker) were significantly higher than that of Benevia (34.5 g a.i./ha). Thus, CNAP-HMS-PDAAM showed long-term control efficacies against C. medinalis (Guénee) and C. suppressalis (Walker), mainly due to its strong adhesive property on rice leaves and its sustained release properties. In addition, the nanocarriers showed good biocompatibility and had no obvious influence on the growth of rice.

Complete genome sequence of the Pogostemon cablin bacterial wilt pathogen Ralstonia solanacearum strain SY1

        Sun Yunhao,Su Yutong,Hussain Ansar,Xiong Lina,Li Chunji,Zhang Jie,Meng Zhen,Dong Zhangyong,Yu Guohui 한국유전학회 2023 Genes & Genomics Vol.45 No.1

Background Ralstonia solanacearum causes bacterial wilt of Pogostemon cablin which is an important aromatic herb and also the main materials of COVID-19 therapeutic traditional drugs. However, we are lacking the information on the genomic sequences of R. solanacearum isolated from P. cablin. Objective The acquisition and analysis of this whole-genome sequence of the P. cablin bacterial wilt pathogen. Methods An R. solanacearum strain, named SY1, was isolated from infected P. cablin plants, and the complete genome sequence was sequenced and analyzed. Results The SY1 strain contains a 3.70-Mb chromosome and a 2.18-Mb megaplasmid, with GC contents of 67.57% and 67.41%, respectively. A total of 3308 predicted genes were located on the chromosome and 1657 genes were located in the megaplasmid. SY1 strain has 273 unique genes compared with five representative R. solanacearum strains, and these genes were enriched in the plant–pathogen interaction pathway. SY1 possessed a higher syntenic relationship with phylotype I strains, and the arsenal of type III effectors predicted in SY1 were also more closely related to those of phylotype I strains. SY1 contained 14 and 5 genomic islands in its chromosome and megaplasmid, respectively, and two prophage sequences in its chromosome. In addition, 215 and 130 genes were annotated as carbohydrate-active enzymes and antibiotic resistance genes, respectively. Conclusion This is the first genome-scale assembly and annotation for R. solanacearum which isolated from infected P. cablin plants. The arsenal of virulence and antibiotic resistance may as the determinants in SY1 for infection of P. cablin plants.

Vibration Isolation of Extended Ultra-high Acceleration Macro-micro Motion Platform Considering Floating Stator Stage

        Lufan Zhang,Xue-li Li,Jiwen Fang,Yunhao Lv,Bing Ma,Jun Wu,Hu Li 한국정밀공학회 2019 International Journal of Precision Engineering and Vol.20 No.8

It is a limitation for rapid development of microelectronics manufacturing industry to hardly overcome the acceleration limitation of macro–micro motion platform. The paper presents an extended ultra-high acceleration macro–micro motion platform to investigate breakthrough of acceleration limitation with driving modes “macro + micro + macro” (MMM). In the proposed platform, the number of the pair of VCMs was defined as n. Under ultra-high acceleration, floating stator stage is suggested to isolate the vibration and obtain superior performance of the platform. Its theoretical analyses including natural frequency analysis, transient response analysis and frequency response analysis are performed to verify vibration isolation of floating stator stage applied in the extended ultra-high acceleration macro–micro motion platform. The change trends and sensitivities of related objective functions incorporating vibration transmissibility, settling time and the maximum stroke of stator’s motion are explored with their related parameters, and their multi-objective optimization designs are carried out to achieve superior performances of different extended platforms. Moreover, one case is performed when n = 1. Its theoretical analyses, change trends and sensitivities are investigated. The superior performance of the platform is obtained to realize vibration isolation by multi-objective optimization. And its experiment of vibration isolation is also testified finally. The results provide a theoretical and technical basis on microelectronics manufacturing equipment upgrading and manufacturing rapid development.

Effect of Cr2O3 on the viscosity and structure of slag (or glass) of CaO-MgO-Al2O3-SiO2 system

        Wang Yifan,Wang Yici,Zhang Yunhao,Chai Yifan,Zhao Fengguang,Luo Guoping 한국화학공학회 2023 Korean Journal of Chemical Engineering Vol.40 No.7

The glass-ceramics of CaO-MgO-Al2O3-SiO2-Cr2O3 system was prepared by melting method using blast furnace slag, low-carbon ferrochrome alloy slag and quartz sand as raw materials, and the effect of Cr2O3 on the viscosity and structure of slag (or glass) of CaO-MgO-Al2O3-SiO2 (CMAS) system at high temperature was studied. The Urbain viscosity prediction model was established and optimized, and the effect of Cr2O3 on the structure of slag (or glass) was studied by Raman spectroscopy. The results show that when the mass fraction of Cr2O3 is in the range of 0.85–2.05%, the viscosity of slag (or glass) of CMAS system decreases with the increase of Cr2O3 content. The average relative errors between the experimented viscosity value and the calculated viscosity value obtained by using the optimized Urbain model are less than 20%, which is effective and universal for the viscosity prediction of slag (or glass) of CaO-MgO-Al2O3-SiO2-Cr2O3 system. With the increase of Cr2O3 content, the complex silicon oxygen tetrahedrons (Q3) disintegrate into a larger number of simple silicon oxygen tetrahedrons (Q0, Q1, Q2), resulting in the sparse structure of the melt network and a decrease in macroscopic viscosity.

      • Research on UAV Remote Sensing Image Mosaic Method Based on SIFT

        Yinjiang Jia,Zhongbin Su,Qi Zhang,Yu Zhang,Yunhao Gu,Zhongqiu Chen 보안공학연구지원센터 2015 International Journal of Signal Processing, Image Vol.8 No.11

UAV remote sensing, as a new method of remote sensing, has the characteristics of higher spatial resolution, fine timeliness and high flexibility. It is widely used in the field of natural disaster monitoring, urban planning, resource investigation, and has become one of the indispensable method of remote sensing data acquisition. However, because the UAV remote sensing platform is limited by the flight height and focal length of camera, the acquired image size is smaller, single image can’t cover the entire target area. Therefore, image mosaic has become a key technology to solve the problem. Image matching and image fusion are the key techniques of image mosaic. Due to the good robustness of image scaling, translation and rotation, this paper uses the SIFT algorithm to realize image matching of UAV. Since the feature extraction may produce false matches, RANSAC algorithm is applied to the feature point purification points. According to the seam-line in jointing overlap region, weighted fusion algorithm is applied to realize the image seamless splicing.

        Wang, Jianxue,Wang, Ruogu,Zeng, Pingliang,You, Shutang,Li, Yunhao,Zhang, Yao The Korean Institute of Electrical Engineers 2015 Journal of Electrical Engineering & Technology Vol.10 No.3

Traditional transmission planning usually caters for rated wind power output. Due to the low occurrence probability of nominal capacity of wind power and huge investment in transmission, these planning methods will leads to low utilization rates of transmission lines and poor economic efficiency. This paper provides a novel transmission expansion planning method for integrating large-scale wind power. The wind power distribution characteristics of large-scale wind power output and its impact on transmission planning are analyzed. Based on the wind power distribution characteristics, this paper proposes a flexible and economic transmission planning model which saves substantial transmission investment through spilling a small amount of peak output of wind power. A methodology based on Benders decomposition is used to solve the model. The applicability and effectiveness of the model and algorithm are verified through a numerical case.
