        A Study on the Potential of UGC New Media Platforms for Art Education: A Case Comparison Based on Wikipedia and Bilibili

        목적 본 연구의 목적은 UGC 모델에 따른 뉴미디어 플랫폼인 위키백과와 삐리삐리의 비교를 통해 사용자가 콘텐츠 편집과 평론에 참여하는 가운데 예술교육이 어떻게 실현될 수 있는지 탐구하는 것이다. 방법 이를 위해 UGC 모델의 뉴미디어 플랫폼인 위키백과와 삐리삐리게 사례 비교법을 적용했다. 미디어 편집 방식, 지식 링크, 미디어 참여자 등 몇 가지 측면을 구체적으로 분석해 두 플랫폼을 비교 연구한다. 데이터를 수집하고 위키백과 및 삐리삐리 플랫폼에 대한 자세한 정보를 얻기 위해 본 연구에서는 둘의 콘텐츠 특성과 사용자 상호 작용 모드 등 관련 정보를 수집하여 둘 사이의 차이점을 발견했다. 결과 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 사용자가 어떤 예술가나 예술작품에 대한 자신의 관점이나 예술지식을 텍스트 편집을 통해 공유하는 것은 예술에 관한 내용이나 정보에 대해 고민한 후의 행위이며, 그 자체로 예술교육의 의미가 있다. 둘째, 플랫폼 운영자에게는 플랫폼의 영향력을 확대하고 더 많은 그룹을 플랫폼의 활동에 참여시킬 수 있으며, 이는 예술을 대중적으로 전파하는 행위이기도 한다. 셋째, 시각정보가 폭발하는 오늘날 UGC 플랫폼에서 문자편집과 시각정보가 어떻게 더 잘 통합될 수 있는지 더 많은 고민이 필요하고 대중의 예술교육에 더 많은 기여를 할 수 있다. 결론 분석 결과를 바탕으로 UGC 모델에 따른 뉴미디어 플랫폼인 위키백과와 삐리삐리가 예술교육에 미치는 의미와 발전 가능성을 설명했다. 비교 분석을 통해 둘 사이의 유사점과 차이점을 발견하여 둘의 특성과 장단점을 깊이 이해하고 뉴미디어 플랫폼을 통한 예술 교육의 발전과 응용에 유익한 시사점을 제공한다. 비교 분석을 통해 이들의 공통점과 차이점을 파악하여 이들의 특징, 장점과 단점을 전면적으로 파악할 수 있다. 이는 뉴미디어 플랫폼을 통해 예술 교육을 개발하고 활용할 수 있는 귀중한 견해를 제공할 수 있다. Objectives The purpose of this study is to explore how art education can be achieved in user participation in editing content and comments by comparing new media platforms under the UGC model-Wikipedia and Bilibili. Methods For this, a case comparison method was applied to Wikipedia and Bilibili, two new media sites that follow the UGC model. The two platforms were compared by carefully examining a number of factors, including media editing techniques, knowledge linkages, and media participants. To gather data and gain comprehensive insights into the Wikipedia and Bilibili platforms, this research identified and compared the similarities and differences between the two based on relevant information, including content characteristics and user interaction patterns. Results The results of the study are as follows. First, for users, sharing their opinions about an artist or an art work or gaining art knowledge by editing text is an act of thinking about art-related content or information afterwards, which itself has the meaning of art education. Second, for the platform operator, it can expand the influence of the platform and attract more groups to participate in the activities of the platform, which is also an act of mass communication of art. Third, in today's visual information explosion, it is necessary to further consider how text editing and visual information can be better combined in the UGC platform to make more contributions to art education for the public. Conclusions Based on the results of the analysis, the significance of the new media platforms in the UGC model- Wikipedia and Bilibili-for art education and the potential for development are illustrated. By conducting a comparative analysis, the similarities and differences between the two can be identified, allowing for a comprehensive understanding of their characteristics, benefits, and drawbacks. This can provide valuable insights for the development and utilization of art education through new media platforms.

        Effects of α-Galactosidase Supplementation on Performance and Energy Metabolism for Broilers Fed Corn-non-dehulled Soybean Meal Diets

        To study the effects of ${\alpha}$-galactosidase (${\alpha}$-Gal) supplementation on performance and energy metabolism, 216 Arbor Acres male broilers were placed in 36 cages of 6 birds each and allotted to 4 diets for 42 d, with 0-21 d as starter period and 22-42 d as grower period. The 4 diets were based on corn non-dehulled soybean meal in a $2{\times}2$ factorial arrangement, with 2 levels of ${\alpha}$-Gal (0 vs. 60 U/kg feed) and 2 levels of ME (normal metabolizable energy (NME) and low metabolizable energy (LME)). Bird performance was obtained at 21 and 42 d of age with samples of feces collected for nutrient digestibility from 19-21 d and 40-42 d. At 21 and 42 d, 1 bird from 6 cages of each treatment was killed to determine liver weight, intestinal pH and chyme viscosity. With the addition of ${\alpha}$-Gal the 42 d body weight (BW) and 0-42 d average daily gain (ADG) were significantly improved (p<0.05). Average daily feed intake (ADFI) of birds fed the LME diet was significantly increased compared to those fed the NME diet during starter (p<0.01) and grower (p<0.05) periods and overall (p<0.01). There was an interaction of ${\alpha}-Gal{\times}ME$ on 0-21 d ADFI (p<0.01). Supplementation of ${\alpha}$-Gal significantly improved (p<0.01) feed efficiency during the grower period and overall. Feed efficiency of birds fed the LME diet was significantly decreased (p<0.05) compared to those fed the NME diet during the starter period and overall. With the addition of ${\alpha}$-Gal apparent metabolizable energy (AME) was improved (p<0.01) by 2.1% and 1.8% during starter and grower periods, respectively. There was a main effect (p<0.05) of ${\alpha}$-Gal on the digestion of neutral detergent fiber (NDF) during the starter period and crude protein (CP), NDF and acid detergent fiber (ADF) during the grower period. With the addition of ${\alpha}$-Gal, the relative weight of liver was reduced (p<0.01) during the two phases. The duodenal and jejunal pH were significantly decreased (p<0.01) with the supplementation of ${\alpha}$at the two phases. ${\alpha}$-Gal addition reduced (p<0.01) chyme viscosity of the ileum during the starter and grower periods. Overall, ${\alpha}$-Gal showed a major effect on nutrient efficiency, improved ADG and feed efficiency, whereas LME decreased feed efficiency. The incorporation of ${\alpha}$-Gal into a LME diet could at least partially offset ME deficiency of non-dehulled soybean meal.

      • XIAO is involved in the control of organ size by contributing to the regulation of signaling and homeostasis of brassinosteroids and cell cycling in rice

        <P><B>Summary</B></P><P>Organ size is determined by cell number and size, and involves two fundamental processes: cell proliferation and cell expansion. Although several plant hormones are known to play critical roles in shaping organ size by regulating the cell cycle, it is not known whether brassinosteroids (BRs) are also involved in regulating cell division. Here we identified a rice T‐DNA insertion mutant for organ size, referred to as <I>xiao</I>, that displays dwarfism and erect leaves, typical BR‐related phenotypes, together with reduced seed setting. <I>XIAO</I> is predicted to encode an LRR kinase. The small stature of the <I>xiao</I> mutant resulted from reduced organ sizes due to decreased cell numbers resulting from reduced cell division rate, as supported by the observed co‐expression of <I>XIAO</I> with a number of genes involved in cell cycling. The <I>xiao</I> mutant displayed a tissue‐specific enhanced BR response and greatly reduced BR contents at the whole‐plant level. These results indicated that XIAO is a regulator of BR signaling and cell division. Thus, XIAO may provide a possible connection between BRs and cell‐cycle regulation in controlling organ growth.</P>

      • Red Blood Cell Deformability and its Hemorheological Consideration

        The suspension of hardened red blood cells (RBCs) differs from the suspension of normal RBCs with respect to their rheological behavior. The deformability of normal and hardened RBCs (obtained by heating blood at 49°C or by incubating RBCs in a solution of hydrogen peroxide) was measured with a slit diffractometer and RBC suspension viscosity was measured with a rotational viscometer. The peroxidetreated RBCs showed a significant decrease of the deformability and their suspension viscosity increased over a range of shear rates. The suspension viscosity of the heated RBCs, however, where the deformability is even lower than that of the peroxide-treated RBCs, was slightly higher than that of the normal RBC suspension in the high shear rates. The present study found that not all rigid cells cause an increase of blood viscosity at high shear rate, and therefore that decreased membrane deformability is not predictive of high-shear blood viscosity.

        Preparation and Characterization of a Novel Hyperbranched Poly(aryl ether ketone) Terminated with Cobalt Phthalocyanine to be Used for Oxidative Decomposition of 2,4,6-Trichlorophenol

        A novel hyperbranched poly(aryl ether ketone) terminated with cobalt phthalocyanine (CoPc-T-HPAEK)was prepared using 1,3,5-tris[4-(4-fluorobenzoyl) phenoxy] benzene (B3), as a ‘core’ molecule, 4,4'-(hexafluoroisopropylidene)diphenol (6F-BPA) as an A2 monomer, and cobalt phthalocyanine as an end-capping reagent. CoPc-THPAEK showed good solubility, thermal stability and catalytic activity in the oxidative decomposition of 2,4,6-trichlorophenol (TCP) under H2O2 or KHSO5. Moreover, the oxidative effect of KHSO5 was superior to that of H2O2,and the catalytic activity of CoPc-T-HPAEK was much higher than that of linear poly(aryl ether ketone) terminated with cobalt phthalocyanine (CoPc-T-LPAEK) and linear poly(aryl ether ketone) with a cobalt phthalocyanine pendant unit (CoPc-S-LPAEK).

        Early potential effects of resveratrol supplementation on skeletal muscle adaptation involved in exercise-induced weight loss in obese mice

        Exercise and resveratrol supplementation exhibit anti-obesity functions in the long term but have not been fully investigated yet in terms of their early potential effectiveness. Mice fed with high-fat diet were categorized into control (Cont), exercise (Ex), resveratrol supplementation (Res), and exercise combined with resveratrol supplementation (Ex + Res) groups. In the four-week period of weight loss, exercise combined with resveratrol supplementation exerted no additional effects on body weight loss but significantly improved whole-body glucose and lipid homeostasis. The combined treatment significantly decreased intrahepatic lipid content but did not affect intramyocellular lipid content. Moreover, the treatment significantly increased the contents of mtDNA and cytochrome c, the expression levels of peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor gamma coactivator-1 alpha and its downstream transcription factors, and the activities of ATPase and citrate synthase. However, exercise, resveratrol, and their combination did not promote myofiber specification toward slow-twitch type. The effects of exercise combined with resveratrol supplementation on weight loss could be partly due to enhanced mitochondrial biogenesis and not to fiber-type shift in skeletal muscle tissues.         Shear behavior of composite frame inner joints of SRRC column-steel beam subjected to cyclic loading

        In this paper, cyclic loading tests on composite frame inner joints of steel-reinforced recycled concrete (SRRC) column.steel beam were conducted. The main objective of the test was to obtain the shear behavior and analyze the shear strength of the joints. The main design parameters in the test were recycled coarse aggregate (RCA) replacement percentage and axial compression ratio. The failure process, failure modes, hysteresis curves and strain characteristics of the joints were obtained, and the influences of design parameters on the shear strength of the joints have been also analysed in detail. Results show that the failure modes of the joints area are typical shear failure. The shear bearing capacity of the joints maximally decreased by 10.07% with the increase in the RCA replacement percentage, whereas the shear bearing capacity of the joints maximally increased by 16.6% with the increase in the axial compression ratio. A specific strain analysis suggests that the shear bearing capacity of the joints was mainly provided by the three shear elements of the recycled aggregate concrete (RAC) diagonal compression strut, steel webs and stirrups of the joint area. According to the shear mechanism and test results, the calculation formulas of the shear bearing capacity of the three main shear elements were deduced separately. Thus, the calculation model of the shear bearing capacity of the composite joints considering the adverse effects of the RCA replacement percentage was established through a superposition method. The calculated values of shear strength based on the calculation model were in good agreement with the test values. It indicates that the calculation method in this study can reasonably predict the shear bearing capacity of the composite frame inner joints of SRRC column–steel beam.

      • Compressive performance of RAC filled GFRP tube-profile steel composite columns under axial loads

        To investigate the axial compressive performance of the recycled aggregate concrete (RAC) filled glass fiber reinforced polymer (GFRP) tube and profile steel composite columns, static loading tests were carried out on 18 specimens under axial loads in this study, including 7 RAC filled GFRP tube columns and 11 RAC filled GFRP tube-profile steel composite columns. The design parameters include recycled coarse aggregate (RCA) replacement percentage, profile steel ratio, slenderness ratio and RAC strength. The failure process, failure modes, axial stress-strain curves, strain development and axial bearing capacity of all specimens were mainly analyzed in detail. The experimental results show that the GFRP tube had strong restraint ability to RAC material and the profile steel could improve the axial compressive performance of the columns. The failure modes of the columns can be summarized as follow: the profile steel in the composite columns yielded first, then the internal RAC material was crushed, and finally the fiberglass of the external GFRP tube was seriously torn, resulting in the final failure of columns. The axial bearing capacity of the columns decreased with the increase of RCA replacement percentage and the maximum decreasing amplitude was 11.10%. In addition, the slenderness ratio had an adverse effect on the axial bearing capacity of the columns. However, the strength of the RAC material could effectively improve the axial bearing capacity of the columns, but their deformability decreased. In addition, the increasing profile steel ratio contributed to the axial compressive capacity of the composite columns. Based on the above analysis, a formula for calculating the bearing capacity of composite columns under axial compression load is proposed, and the adverse effects of slenderness ratio and RCA replacement percentage are considered.

        Enhanced recovery after surgery strategy for cirrhosis patients undergoing hepatectomy: experience in a single research center

        Purpose: To evaluate the safety and effectiveness of an enhanced recovery after surgery (ERAS) programme after curative liver resection in cirrhotic hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) patients. Methods: One hundred sixty-two patients were enrolled in the study; 80 patients whose data were collected prospectively were assigned to the ERAS group, and 82 patients whose data were collected retrospectively were assigned to the control group. Preoperative clinicopathologic factors, surgical factors, and postoperative outcomes of the 2 groups were compared. Logistic regression was applied to explore potential predictors of hospital stay and morbidity. Results: The postoperative hospital stay, postoperative complication rate, and recovery of liver function on postoperative day 5 seemed to be better in the ERAS group. The composition of complications was different in the 2 groups; pleural effusion and postoperative ascites were more common in the control group, and indocyanine green retention at 15 minutes, operation time, preoperative alanine aminotransferase, and number of liver segmentectomies were associated with postoperative complications rather than ERAS intervention. Conclusion: The ERAS programme is safe and effective for HCC patients with chronic liver disease undergoing hepatectomy, but it seems that surgical factors, such as operation type, have a greater impact on morbidity than other factors. Operative characteristics such as the method of blood loss control and the volume of liver resection should be augmented into ERAS protocol of hepatectomy.
