        For the analysis of prevalence of occupational skin diseases and asthma in industrial workers, we studied the 1,274 workers who were engaged in manufacturing workers(direct exposured group to harzardous materials) and clerical workers (indirect exposured group to harzardous materials). The results were as follows: 1. The prevalence rate of occupational skin diseases and asthma in manufacturing workers(36.4%) was significantly higher than that in clerical workers(25.2%) (p<0.005). 2. The prevalence rates of skin diseases(p<0.005) and asthma(p<0.05) in male manufacturing workers were significantly higher than those in clerical workers, and the prevalence rate of asthma(p<0.005) in female manufacturing workers was significantly higher than that in clerical workers. 3. Of asthma in twenties(p<0.005), of skin diseases(p<0.005) and asthma(p<0.05) in thirties, the prevalance rate of manufaturing workers were higher than thoses of clerical workers, however no diffrence was in forties. 4. Of skin diseases(p<0.005) and asthma(p<0.05) in metal plating, of asthma(p<0.005) in cotton spinning, the prevalence rate of manufacturing workers were significantly higher than those of clerical workers. 5. The prevalence rate of skin diseases and asthma in dustness part were significantly higher than those of non-dustness part and poor ventilation part also were significantly higher than good ventilation part (p<0.005). 6. Frequency of involved skin sites, in descending order, were hand(32.1%), leg(24.3%), trunk(20.4%), face(12.1%) and arm(11.1%).

      • 인벌류우트 기어 호빙 과정에 대한 해석

        The cutting amount of each tooth in gear hobbing has much influence on the vibration of the hob axis and the wear of tool. In this study, with the simulation of gear hobbing mechanism, cutting parameters such as cutting thickness, cutting are and area moment were calculated. The cutting torque was also obtained by the experiments. The cutting amount of each tooth in the hob can be compared quantitatively by the simulation on the calculated cutting zone, cutting thickness and cutting are. And the cutting torque obtained by the experiments has the same tendency with the area moment calculated by the simulations. The results of this study can be applied to the research on the tool wear, the hob having modified tooth profile and the variation of cutting torque.

      • PECVD에 의해 제조된 Sb-doped SnO₂박막의 광학적성질

        플라즈마를 이용한 화학증착법 (PECVD)으로 Corning glass 1737 기판에 Sb-doped SnO2 박막을 증착하였다. 플라즈마 화학증착시 반응변수에 따른 박막의 결정상, 표면형상 및 광투과도를 XRD, SEM, AFM 과 그리고 UV-VIS-NIR Spectrophotometer를 이용하여 분석하였다. Thermal CVD에 비해 PECVD법은 박막의 증착속도를 향상시켰고, 박막의 표면형상을 보다 균일하게 하였다. 반응온도 450℃, 유입가스비 R=1.12, RF power 30W에서 결정성과 광투과도가 비교적 뛰어난 Sb-doped tin oxide films을 얻을 수 있었다. Sb-doped tin oxide films were deposited on Coming glass 1737 substrate by plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition (PECVD) technique. The films deposited at different reaction parameters were investigated by using XRD, SEM, AFM, and UV-VIS-NIR Spectrophotometer. Compared to thermal CVD,PECVD effectively enhanced the deposition rate and smoothed the surface of tin oxide films. Sb-doped tin oxide films which have a relatively good crystallinity and photo-transmission were obtained at deposition temperature 450℃, input gas ratio R=1.12, and RF power 30W.

      • 우유와 두유를 혼합한 이유보충음료의 개발

        The purpose of this study is to develop an infant supplement composed of cow and soy milk which has acceptable taste and digestability and meets nutritional needs of the infants. Even though soy milk is and excellent source of protein for infants who are allergic to dairy products, its protein quality is still lower than that of regular milk. Therefore in the present study the development of sow-soy milk infant formula was attempted. To make the formula equal amount of cow and soy milk were mixed and supplemented with vitamins and minerals to meet the nutritional standards of breast milk, CODEX and recommended dietary allowances for Korean infants. In animal experimental study, the weight gain rate of weaning rats was highest in the order of 100% milk, cow-soy milk, control, soy milk, commercial soy infant milk group. Feed efficiency ratio(FER) were not significantly different among control, 100% milk and cow-soy milk groups. However, commercialized soy infant milk group showed significantly lower FER than other groups. When the cow-soy milk formula was fed to infant in the age of 5 month to 25 months, it did not show any unsatisfactory results in acceptability and bowel movements of the subjects. Since the cow-soy milk formula has not only all the nutrients for the physical growth of infants but also contains valuable physiological functional ingredients, it is expected to be a good choice of supplements for infants.

        마이크로파에 의한 생분해성 β-TCP/PLGA 복합체의 제조시 β-TCP 첨가량에 따른 영향

        Biodegradable $\beta$-tricalcium phosphate ( $\beta$-TCP)/poly(lactide-co-glycolide) (PLGA) composites were synthesized by in-situ polymerization with microwave energy. The influence of the $\beta$-TCP content in $\beta$-TCP/PLGA composites on the molecular weight, crystallinity, microstructure and mechanical properties was investigated. As the molecular weight of composites decreased, the $\beta$-TCP content increased up to 10 wt.%, while the excess addition of the $\beta$-TCP content above 10 wt.% the molecular weight increased with increasing of the $\beta$-TCP content. This behavior would be due to the superheating effect or nonthermal effect induced by microwave energy. It was found that the bending strength and Young's modulus of the $\beta$-TCP/PLGA composites was proportional to the molecular weight of PLGA. The bending strength of the $\beta$-TCP/PLGA composites ranged from 18 to 38 MPa, while Young's modulus was in the range from 2 to 6 GPa.

      • 비혈연간 동종골수이식에 의해 치료된 중증 재생불량성빈혈 1예

        비혈연간 동종골수이식은 혈연간 동종골수이식이 불가능한 환자에서 기존의 면역역제요법으로 효과가 없었던 경우나 재발한 경우에 적응증이 될수 있다. 이식 거부와 이식편대숙주병의 발생이 골수 이식의 성공률을 감소시키므로, 보다 강력한 conditioning regimen의 사용과 T cell이 제거된 골수를 사용하는 것이 필요하다. 기존의 high dose corticosteroid나 cyclosporine에 대하여 불응성인 이식편대숙주병의 치료를 위해서 ATG와 Mycophenolate mofetil (Cellcept®) 의 사용이나 Tacrolimus, Methotrexate와 같은 다른 면역억제제치료를 고려해 볼 수 있다. It is known that allogenic bone marrow transplantation is the most effective treatment for aplastic anemia. However, this treatment is only applicable to a minority of patients because the proportion of patients who have HLA-matched siblings about 25% to 30% of all the aplastic anemia patients. In the case of the absence of HLA-matched donor, unrelated allogenic bone marrow transplantation is considered. However, (because of severe acute and chronic GVHD and graft failure) the success rate of this approach is only 20~30%. Recently, it was reported that increased immunosuppressive condition combined with T cell depletion of the marrow graft would result in greater success. There was no case of successfully treated aplastic anemia patient by unrelated allogenic bone marrow transplantation in Korea. Here, we report a case of severe aplastic anemia successfully treated with unrelated allogenic bone marrow transplantation.

        Basal slip (0001)1/3<1120> dislocation in sapphire ($\alpha$-Al$_2$O$_3$) single crystals Part I : recombination motion

        사파이어($\alpha$-$Al_2$$O_3$) 단결정에 있어 basal slip (0001)1/3<1120>의 부분전위의 재결합거동을 알아보기 위해 prism plane (1120)의 사파이어 재료를 사용하여 4점 곡강도 시험을 행하였다. 이 굽힘시험은 온도 $1200^{\circ}C$~$1400^{\circ}C$에서 그리고 응력은 90MPa, 120MPa, 150MPa에서 행하여졌다 굽힘시험 동안 basal전위가 이동하기 위해 잠복기가 필요하였다. 실험온도 범위내에서 잠복기의 활성화에너지는 5.6-6.0eV이었으며, 이 잠복기는 자체-상승운동으로 분해된 부분전위들이 재결합하는데 필요한 시간인 것으로 추정되었다. 한편, 이 활성화에너지는 $Al_2$$O_3$에 있어 산소의 자체 확산을 위한 에너지 (대fir 6.3eV)와 거의 일치하였다. 이 결과를 통하여, 두 부분전위들의 재결합은 부분전위사이 적층결함으로 산소 자체확산에 의해 제어되는 것으로 여겨진다. The recombination motion of Partial dislocations on basal slip (0001) 1/3<1120> in sapphire ($\alpha$-Al$_2$$O_3$) single crystals was investigated using the four-point bending test with the prism plane (1120) samples. These bending experiments were carried but in the temperature range from $1200^{\circ}C$ to $1400^{\circ}C$ at various engineering stresses 90MPa, 120MPa, and 150MPa. During these tests it was shown that an incubation time was needed for basal slip to be activated. The activation energy for the incubation time was 5.6-6.0eV in the temperature range from $1200^{\circ}C$ to $1400^{\circ}C$. The incubation time is believed to be related to recombination of climb dissociated partial dislocations via self-climb. In addition, these activation energies are nearly same as those for oxygen self-diffusion in $Al_2$$O_3$ (approximately 6.3 eV). Thus, the recombination of the two partial dislocations would be possibly controlled by oxygen diffusion on the stacking fault between the partials.
