        Interface Assessment를 통한 액티브 시니어의 사용자 경험 분석

        본 논문은 기존 노년층과는 다른 특성을 보이는 액티브 시니어의 사용자 경험 문제를 도출해 내기 위한 연구로 먼저 선행 연구 분석을 통하여 ‘Visible’, ‘Desired Outcome’, ‘Immediate Feedback’, ‘Intuitiveness’, ‘Perceived Ease of Use’의 다섯 가지 요소를 사용자 interaction의 초기단계를 이루는 요소로 추출하였고 이를 기반으로 Interface 사용 중에 사용자의 행위와 인지 내용을 분석하였 다. 이를 통해 사용과정에서 생기는 문제점을 도출하였으며, 다섯 가지 요소와 사용자의 주관 평가 간의 상관관계를 분석하였다. 사용자 경험의 주관 평가에는 PSSUQ를 사용하였으며 SPSS 22 버전을 사용하여 pearson 상관 분석을 실시하였다. 본 논문의 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, App 사용 시 액티브 시니어 사용자들이 겪는 가장 큰 문제는 desired outcome차원의 문제로 볼 수 있다. 둘째, interface assessment 다섯 가지 요소 중 ‘Desired Outcome’, ‘Perceived Ease of Use’ 두 가지 요소만이 PSSUQ 설문 결과와 통계적으로 유의미한 상관관계를 보이는 것으로 나타났으며 나머지 ‘Visible’, ‘Immediate Feedback’, ‘Intuitiveness’의 세 요소는 사용자의 주관 평가와 상관관계를 보이지 않았다. 본 논문의 연구결과에 의하면 액티브 시니어는 기존의 노년층과는 다른 특징을 가지고 있어 Desired Outcome 과 Perceived ease of use 차원의 문제가 더 많은 영향을 미치는 요소로 볼 수 있으며 기존의 연구에서 중요한 요소로 거론한 Visible , Immediate feedback , Intuitiveness 는 명확한 상관관계가 없는 것으로 볼 수 있다. 이는 기존 노년층과 달리 액티브 시니어의 경우 PC나 스마트폰 사용 경험의 누적으로 인하여 visible, immediate feedback, intuitiveness 등의 요소에 어려움을 적게 겪기 때문인 것으로 보인다. 본 논문의 연구 결과는 다양한 수요를 보이고 있는 액티브 시니어용 App의 개발에 의미 있게 활용될 것이다. Differ from elder generation, active senior possesses the active characteristics of young people. In this research, the active senior users UX problem was analyzed by Sundar s Interface Assessment . According to Interface Assessment, the user s subjective user experience in GUI interactive can be divided into five elements, which are Visible , Desired Outcome , Immediate Feedback , Intuitiveness , Perceived Ease of Use . Based on these five elements, user s behavior and perception experience during interface using were analyzed to classify UX problems. Next, Correlation Analysis was conducted to find out the relationship between the elements of Interface Assessment and user s subjective experience using PSSUQ as comparing data, and SPSS 22 version as statistic software. The result of this research was presented below: First, active senior user s biggest UX problem can be classified with Desired Outcome in App using. Second, the correlation between the two elements, ‘Desired Outcome’, ‘Perceived Ease of Use , and the PSSUQ result was statistically significant, but the correlation between the other three elements, Visible , Immediate Feedback , Intuitiveness , and the PSSUQ result were not statistically significant. According to the result, active senior users do have different characteristics compared with elder generation. The UX problems classified with Desired Outcome and Perceived ease of use apparently affect user s subjective experience, while the problems classified with Visible , Immediate feedback , Intuitiveness show no evidence in affecting user s subjective experience. This phenomenon could be explained by the cumulative effects of PC or smartphone use. Through the analysis of multiple UX elements in this paper, better App interface could be developed according to active senior s needs.

        Study on Thermodynamics of Three Kinds of Benzindocarbocyanine Dyes in Aqueous Methanol Solution

        Aggregation behavior of three kinds of benzindocarbocyanine dyes in aqueous methanol solution was studied by UV-Vis absorption spectrum. The results indicated that the three dyes all existed monomer-dimer equilibrium in aqueous methanol solution (concentration range $10^{−5}\;to\;10^{−6}$ M) at 25.0$\sim$41.0 ${^{\circ}C}$ for Dye 1, 28.0$\sim$49.0 ${^{\circ}C}$ for Dye 2 and 26.0$\sim$47.0 ${^{\circ}C}$ for Dye 3. The fundamental property of the three dyes as the dimeric association constant KD, the dimeric free energy ${\Delta$}G_D, the dimeric entropy ${\Delta$}S_D, and the dimeric enthalpy ${\Delta$}H_D were determined. The ${\Delta$}H_D of three dyes: Dye 1, Dye 2 and Dye 3 was -42.5, -15.1 and -18.9 kJ/mol, respectively. The experimental observations were the subject of a theoretical study including the ground-state geometries which were fully optimized using DFT at B3LYP/6-31G level. The effect of dye molecule structure on ${\Delta$}H_D was discussed by theoretical calculations.

      • Survival Analysis of Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma in a Subgroup of Young Patients

        Oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) is predominantly a disease of middle-aged men with long-term exposure to tobacco and alcohol. An increasing trend has been reported at a younger age worldwide. Clinical records of 100 patients under the age of 45 years treated specifically for oral cavity SCC in our hospital during a 10-year period were retrospectively analyzed to calculate the survival rates. An obvious male predominance coincided with smoking trend among Chinese young individuals and female patients were more likely to have no traditional risk factors such as smoking or drinking. The 5-year overall survival rate and disease-free survival rate were 61.0% and 75.5%, respectively, consistent with other published series over the decade showing a relatively better survival among the young. No significant differences clearly correlated with outcome when comparing non-smokers non-drinkers to ever-smokers and ever drinkers (P>0.05). Overall survival rate and disease free survival rate was found to be significantly higher in patients with early-stage disease than with advanced stage disease (P=0.001, P=0.009 respectively). The strong influence of clinical stage on prognosis emphasizes the importance of early diagnosis and treatment of oral malignancies for this unique clinical subgroup.

        Disturbance Rejection Control Method Based on Variable Damping and Port Controlled Hamiltonian with Dissipation Model for Induction Drive Motor

        The conventional nonlinear control methods for induction motors have the problem of difficult observation of rotor current, and load disturbances make the dynamic performance of the system speed control unsatisfactory. A novel disturbance rejection control scheme with variable damping model based on port controlled Hamiltonian with dissipation is proposed. The induction drive is regarded as energy conversion device including mechanical and electrical ports. The Euler Lagrange equation of the closed-loop system is obtained by the output feedback to establish the energy shaping control method. The variable damping injection is introduced to improve the dynamic performance of the conventional control methods. The L2disturbance rejection controller is designed to enhance the load disturbance resistance performance of induction motors. The experimental results show that the proposed method can optimize the dynamic and steady-state performance of the induction drive control system and effectively meet the control requirements of the speed and torque under load disturbances.

        A series of cadmium telluride (CdTe) nanocrystals were synthesized by a modified organometallic synthesis method at various reaction temperatures ranging from 130 to 250°C. In this method, octadecylamine (ODA) was introduced as an additional coordinating component to the mixture of trioctylphosphine oxide (TOPO) and trioctylphosphine (TOP). CdO was used as a precursor. The prepared CdTe nanocrystals were studied by the absorption and emission spectra as well as the powder X-ray diffraction (XRD) patterns. The result shows that besides the traditional continuous-growth mode observed frequently at relatively high reaction temperature, a discontinuous-growth mode was confirmed at the initial growth stage of CdTe nanocrystals, arising from the change of the absorption spectra of CdTe nanocrystals with the reaction time at relatively low reaction temperature. The structures of CdTe nanocrystals, e.g., the cubic zinc blende structure at 160°C and the hexagonalwurtzite structure at 250°C, were characterized by XRD.

        Chinese herbal injections in combination with radiotherapy for advanced pancreatic cancer: A systematic review and network meta-analysis

        Background: Advanced pancreatic cancer (APC) is a fatal disease with limited treatment options. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of different Chinese herbal injections (CHIs) as adjuvants for radiotherapy (RT) in APC and compare their treatment potentials using network meta-analysis. Methods: We systematically searched three English and four Chinese databases for randomized controlled trials (RCTs) from inception to July 25, 2023. The primary outcome was the objective response rate (ORR). Secondary outcomes included Karnofsky performance status (KPS) score, overall survival (OS), and adverse events (AEs). The treatment potentials of different CHIs were ranked using the surface under the cumulative ranking curve (SUCRA). The Cochrane RoB 2 tool and CINeMA were used for quality assessment and evidence grading. Results: Eighteen RCTs involving 1199 patients were included. Five CHIs were evaluated. Compound Kushen injection (CKI) combined with RT significantly improved ORR compared to RT alone (RR 1.49, 95 % CrI 1.21–1.86). Kanglaite (KLT) plus RT (RR 1.58, 95 % CrI 1.20–2.16) and CKI plus RT (RR 1.49, 95 % CrI 1.16–1.95) were associated with improved KPS score compared to radiation monotherapy, with KLT+RT being the highest rank (SUCRA 72.28 %). Regarding AEs, CKI plus RT was the most favorable in reducing the incidence of leukopenia (SUCRA 90.37 %) and nausea/vomiting (SUCRA 85.79 %). Conclusions: CKI may be the optimal choice of CHIs to combine with RT for APC as it may improve clinical response, quality of life, and reduce AEs. High-quality trials are necessary to establish a robust body of evidence. Protocol registration: PROSPERO, CRD42023396828.

        Mechanical Stretch Promotes Invasion of Lung Cancer Cells via Activation of Tumor Necrosis Factor-alpha

        Most of the gas exchange in the human body is carried out by the lungs, and the physiological activities of the lungs are uninterrupted. Due to the deterioration of the external environment, pulmonary cell lesions are common clinical lung diseases. Mechanical cyclic stretching is one kind of bionic technology to observe lung cancer cells. The A549 cell line is the human lung adenocarcinoma cell line derived from a primary lung tumor. This study investigated the effects of mechanical cyclic stretching on A549 cell activity and gene expression profile. Whereas mechanical cyclic stretching had no significant difference in colony formation and cell migration of A549 cells, the cell invasion increased significantly in A549 cells after stretching. In addition, the microarray data showed that mechanical cyclic stretching altered gene expression, induced inflammation of cells, and activation of Wnt/β- catenin and tumor necrosis factor pathways. More importantly, mechanical cyclic stretching activated the expression of tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-α) protein. Therefore, the increase of cell invasion induced by mechanical cyclic stretching might be associated with the activation of TNF-α in human lung adenocarcinoma cells.
