Background: The overexpression of TSLP and DNA methylation in asthma were both risk factors the relationship was not clear. Objective: This study aimed to investigate the relationship between methylation status of TSLP promoter and mRNA/protein expression in asthmatic airway epithelial cells. Methods: Human bronchial epithelial cells were cultured in vitro and divided into: Control group, treated with PBS, model group, sensitized with LPS (10 μg/mL) for 12 h (37 °C, 5% CO2). Other groups were cultured with the pCMV3 plasmid (M + NC/pCMV), pGPH1 plasmid (M + NC/pGPH), DNMT1/pCMV3 plasmid (M + DNMT1/pCMV), and DNMT1/pGPH1 plasmid (M + DNMT1/pGPH) for 48 h. The expression of DNA methyltransferase 1 and TSLP were measured using real-time PCR and western blotting. Results: Compared with the control group, TSLP mRNA (1.00 ± 0.00 vs. 2.82 ± 0.81 vs. 1, P < 0.001) and protein (1.07 ± 0.04 vs. 1.46 ± 0.11, P < 0.01) were significantly greater, and the methylation of promoter was lower (92.75 ± 1.26 vs. 58.57 ± 3.34, P < 0.05) in the model group. Compared with the model group, TSLP mRNA (2.82 ± 0.81 vs. 1.17 ± 0.10, P < 0.001) decreased, but TSLP promoter methylation increased (58.57 ± 3.34 vs. 92.58 ± 7.30, P < 0.05) in M + DNMT1/pCMV. TSLP mRNA and protein were higher (2.82 ± 0.81 vs. 5.32 ± 0.21, P < 0.001; 1.46 ± 0.11 vs. 1.94 ± 0.11, respectively, P < 0.01), TSLP promoter methylation was lower (58.57 ± 3.34 vs. 33.57 ± 4.29, P < 0.05) in M + DNMT1/pGPH. Conclusions: Overexpression of TSLP in asthmatic airway epithelial cells may be regulated by DNA demethylation.
Cloud Storage Security Deduplication Scheme Based on Dynamic Bloom Filter

Data deduplication is a common method to improve cloud storage efficiency and save network communication bandwidth, but it also brings a series of problems such as privacy disclosure and dictionary attacks. This paper proposes a secure deduplication scheme for cloud storage based on Bloom filter, and dynamically extends the standard Bloom filter. A public dynamic Bloom filter array (PDBFA) is constructed, which improves the efficiency of ownership proof, realizes the fast detection of duplicate data blocks and reduces the false positive rate of the system. In addition, in the process of file encryption and upload, the convergent key is encrypted twice, which can effectively prevent violent dictionary attacks. The experimental results show that the PDBFA scheme has the characteristics of low computational overhead and low false positive rate.
Influence of the River Ceasing on Wetland Environment in the Yellow River Delta

The Yellow River came to cease, which was affected by natural factors and the unreasonable human activities. The flow broke in the Yellow River, and water and sediment flowing into the sea decreased, which lowered the speed of newly formed wetland extending to the sea. The water environment deteriorated; its composing structure tended to be unsteady; the biologic diversity decreased and wetland function reduced. To ensure that the Yellow River delta and its ecosystem develops sustainability, it is significant to reduce times and days of the ceasing, keep certain runoff and sediments in the river to the sea and make its watercourse stable.
Yihe or Xinghe? A Case Study of Intra-sentence Conjunctions in English-Chinese Legal Parallel Texts

In the fields of translation studies in China, there is a perpetual argument regarding Yihe ( 意合, Parataxis) and Xinghe ( 形合,Hypotaxis). Most scholars believe that there are more cases of conjunction in the English texts than in the Chinese ones because it is generally considered that Chinese is predominantly paratactic and English mainly hypotactic. Through a case study of explicitation of conjunctions in Chinese-English legal parallel texts, the results show that more intra-sentence conjunctions are used in the two translations than their respective source texts. The notions of Yihe and Xinghe do not seem to account for the increased use of intrasentence conjunctions in legal translation. Instead, explicitation of cohesive devices and grammatical differences between Chinese and English play important roles in more use of intra-sentence conjunctions in legal translation. Through an investigation of Yihe and Xinghe from the perspective of translation universals, this study aims to test the explanatory force of Yihe and Xinghe in the use of conjunction in legal texts and give a clearer picture of conjunction in Chinese and English legal parallel texts, and therefore will reconstruct the discourse on Chinese and English languages.
Electric Control of Friction on Silicon Studied by Atomic Force Microscope

We investigated friction on an n-type silicon surface using an atomic force microscope when a bias voltage was applied to the sample. Friction forces on the same track line were measured before and after the bias voltages were applied and it was found that the friction forces in n-type silicon can be tuned reversibly with the bias voltage. The dependence of adhesion forces between the silicon nitride tip and Si sample on the bias voltages approximately follows a parabolic law due to electrostatic force, which results in a significant increase in the friction force at an applied electric field.

Two New Phenolic Compounds from <i>Artemisia iwayomogi</i>

<P><B>Abstract</B></P><P>Two new phenolic compounds, (<I>Z</I>)‐5′‐hydroxyjasmone 5′‐<I>O</I>‐{6″‐<I>O</I>‐[(<I>E</I>)‐caffeoyl]‐<I>β</I>‐<SMALL>D</SMALL>‐glucopyranoside} (<B>1</B>) and quercetin‐7‐<I>O</I>‐<I>β</I>‐<SMALL>D</SMALL>‐glucuronide methyl ester (<B>2</B>), along with ten known phenolic compounds, <B>3</B>–<B>12</B>, were isolated from the aerial parts of <I>Artemisia iwayomogi.</I> Their structures were elucidated by spectroscopic methods, including 1D‐ and 2D‐NMR, and HR‐ESI‐TOF‐MS techniques. The inhibitory effects of compounds <B>1</B>–<B>12</B> on the LPS‐stimulated production of IL‐12 p40, IL‐6, and TNF‐<I>α</I> in bone marrow‐derived dendritic cells were evaluated.</P>
Some inequalities of Hermite-Hadamard type for geometrically p-convex functions
