This study aims to assess the attraction of foreign direct investment in Vietnamese economic zones (including industrial zones and economic zones). The main research method used are synthesis and comparison analysis based on the data collected from the surveyed group comprising of enterprises operating in the economic zones in the Middle (Chu Lai, Nhon Hoi, Dung Quat) and the Southern (the largest island: Phu Quoc). After conducting surveys, research results show that there is a difference between the assessment and the level to meet the requirements of investors with business environment, expressed through the following criteria: (1) the infrastructure; (2) quality of public services; (3) preferential policies; (4) labor; (5) market; and (6) social services. Based on the assessment of the identified criteria, this paper had suggested six number of recommendations to promote the role of attracting foreign direct investment capital into the economic zones in Vietnam: (1) implementing the one-stop-shop policy; (2) continuing to improve the infrastructure of economic zones; (3) prevent and ensure the security of economic zones; (4) implementing vocational training activities to improve quality of human resources; (5) development of supporting industries; (6) raising the quality of capital invested in the economic zone.

Double-barrier magnetic tunnel junctions (DBMTJs) were prepared from Co(75 nm)/Al2O3(2.3 nm)/ Co(5 nm)/Al2O3(2.3 nm)/Co(50 nm) sputtering pentalayer films. The ac electrical properties of asdeposited DBMTJs and those annealed in a vacuum at 100e350 C for 30 min were then investigated using a complex impedance spectroscopic technique. The ac impedance responses as a function of annealing temperature were further analyzed based on Maxwell's layered dielectric barrier and Maxwell eWagner capacitor models after considering the DBMTJs as having double-capacitor-type structures. The effect of thermal annealing on the ac transport behavior of the DBMTJs was interpreted by examining the equivalent electric circuits fitted to Nyquist plots of each different sample. The effects were found to be due to changes in the structural characteristics in both bulk and interface morphologies of Co and Al2O3 layers. The structural morphology determined the different ac transport modes that occurred in the DBMTJs.
Inverse MR and Dual-AMR Phenomena in Co/CoO/Ag/Co Sandwiches

Band-form Co/CoO/Ag/Co sandwiches were prepared using radio-frequency magnetron sputtering. The sandwiches had rather thick Co (tCO = 63 nm) and Ag (tAg = 2 ÷ 65 nm) layers and a super-thin paramagnetic cobalt monoxide (CoO) layer (< 1 nm) inserted in the Co/Ag interface. The sandwiches exhibited anomalous magnetoresistance (MR) behavior depending on the tAg value. Inverse magnetoresistance (IMR) effect was observed only at thin tAg values of 2 nm and 6 nm, whereas the dual-anisotropic MR (dual-AMR) occurred at thicker tAg values of 12 nm, 25 nm and 65 nm. A superposition of the dual-AMR and the weak IMR effects was obtained at the thickest Ag layer of 65 nm. The origin of these anomalous MR behaviors was discussed to show the prominent role of the CoO layer and large thickness of the Co and Ag layers.
Inhibitory Activity of Plantago major L. on Angiotensin I-converting Enzyme

Eight compounds were isolated from methanol extract of Plantago major L. leaves and investigated for their ability to inhibit angiotensin I-converting enzyme activity. Among them, compound 1 showed the most potent inhibition with rate of 28.06 ± 0.21% at a concentration of 100 μM. Compounds 2 and 8 exhibited weak activities. These results suggest that compound 1 might contribute to the ability of P. major to inhibit the activity of angiotensin I- converting enzyme.
Chemical components from the leaves of Ardisia insularis and their cytotoxic activity

One new oleanane triterpene glycoside, ardinsuloside(1), and twelve known compounds, demethoxybergenin(2), norbergenin (3), bergenin (4), 4-O-galloylbergenin(5), quercitrin (6), myricitrin (7), myricetin 3-O-(300-O-galloyl)-a-L-rhamnopyranoside (8), desmanthine-2 (9), epicatechin3-O-galloyl ester (10), 30-methoxyepicatechin 3-Ogalloylester (11), gallic acid (12), and methyl galloate (13)were isolated from the leaves of Ardisia insularis. Theirstructures were established on the basis of spectral and chemicalevidence, which were in agreement with those reportedin literature. The cytotoxic activities of these compounds wereevaluated on three cancer cell lines namely A-549 (humanlung cancer), HT-29 (Human colon adenocarcinoma), andOVCAR (human ovarian carcinoma). The results revealedthat compound 1 inhibited A-549, HT-29, and OVCAR celllines with IC50 values of 8.5 ± 1.2, 16.4 ± 3.1, and13.6 ± 2.4 lM, respectively. The remaining compoundshowed weak cytotoxic activity. This result indicated thatcompound 1 could be useful in the treatment of cancer disease.

<P>It is important to assess availability of virtualized systems in IT business infrastructures. Previous work on availability modeling and analysis of the virtualized systems used a simplified configuration and assumption in which only one virtual machine (VM) runs on a virtual machine monitor (VMM) hosted on a physical server. In this paper, we show a comprehensive availability model using stochastic reward nets (SRN). The model takes into account (i) the detailed failures and recovery behaviors of multiple VMs, (ii) various other failure modes and corresponding recovery behaviors (e.g., hardware faults, failure and recovery due to Mandelbugs and aging-related bugs), and (iii) dependency between different subcomponents (e.g., between physical host failure and VMM, etc.) in a virtualized servers system. We also show numerical analysis on steady state availability, downtime in hours per year, transaction loss, and sensitivity analysis. This model provides a new finding on how to increase system availability by combining both software rejuvenations at VM and VMM in a wise manner.</P>
Analysis of subunit assembly and function of the <i>Saccharomyces cerevisiae</i> RNase H2 complex

<P>RNase H2 of <I>Saccharomyces cerevisiae</I> consists of three essential subunits (Rnh201, Rnh202 and Rnh203) and plays a critical role in the removal of RNA incorporated in duplex DNA. In the present study, we purified individual subunits and heterodimeric subcomplexes to examine the assembly and biochemical function of subunits of RNase H2 <I>in vitro</I>. Reconstitution experiments revealed that Rnh202 and Rnh203 first form a subcomplex, followed by the recruitment of Rnh201 to complete complex formation. Rnh201 alone or in combination with Rnh203 showed neither substrate‐binding, nor catalytic activity, indicating that both activities of Rnh201 are latent until it becomes an integral part of the complex. However, Rnh202 by itself showed substrate‐binding activity. RNase H2 containing mutant Rnh202 defective in substrate binding had decreased substrate‐binding activity, indicating that Rnh202 contributes directly to substrate binding. Reconstitution of RNase H2 complexes with various mutant subunits allowed us to assess the influence of conserved amino acid residues in either Rnh201 or Rnh202 on substrate‐binding and catalytic activities. We found that the substrate‐binding activities of both Rnh201 and Rnh202 were critical for cleavage of the phosphodiester bond present between DNA and RNA in RNase H2 substrates.</P><P><B>Structured digital abstract</B></P><P><P> with by ()</P><P> to by ()</P><P> to by ()</P></P>

Road network in the Mekong Delta is mostly coastal and river routes, then they are often flooded when the floods come in. As a result, the foundation and pavement are destroyed, reduced life expectancy, resulting in unsafety in traffic, cost of maintenance and repairs…. This paper establishes the technical conditions for the calculation on the flexible pavement working in the wet conditions (so flooded) based on the maximum usage of available materials in the provinces in the Mekong Delta. Simultaneously, we propose the flooded flexible pavement under the current climate change conditions.
