In this paper, collapse test of thin-walled structural member widely used for automobiles is carried out under static compression load to observe the effects of cross-sectional shape and material on the absorbing-energy capacity in the viewpoint of crashworthiness. specimens tested consist of two sorts(Aluminium, CFRP) and configurations(Cylinder, Square) with variation in thickness. Also, comparisons of Al cylinder and square specimens are made th find the influence of difference in shape on the absorbing-energy capability according as the thickness of specimen varies.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship of learner's field-independent and field-dependent cognitive styles and academic achievement in practical arts. For this purpose, 4∼6th grade 569 students of Y elementary school in seoul were sampled. And tested cognitive styles and practical arts academic achievement. Learner's cognitive styles were divided into two categories through cognitive styles tests ; field-independent cognitive styles(above mean scores), field-dependent cognitive styles(below mean scores). In order to verify the result of this study, t-test were used as a statistical method. The meaningful level was less than .05. The results of this study were as follows, (1)The field-independent students showed significantly higher scores of manipulation than the field dependent group in 4th, 5th, and 6th grade students(4th grade P<.01, 5th grade P<.01, 6th glade P<.05). (2)The field-independent students showed significantly higher scores of making than the field dependent group in 4th, 5th, and 6th grade students(4th grade P<.001, 5th grade P<.001, 6th glade P<.01). (3)The field-independent students showed significantly higher scores of cultivation than the field dependent group in 4th, 5th, and 6th grade students(4th glade P<.01, 5th grade P<.001, 6th grade P<.05). (4)The field-independent students showed significantly higher scores of management than the field dependent group in 4th, 5th grade students(4th grade P<.001, 5th glade P<.001). but No significance in 6th grade student. These results showed that the field-independent students had higher academic achievement than the field-dependent students in practical arts.

관상동맥 질환에서 도플러 심초음파도로 측정한 확장기 좌심실기능의 지표와 혈역학적 소견과의 비교 검토

Background : Left ventricular diastolic dysfunction is now recognized as a significant cause of cardiac symptoms even in patient with normal systolic ventricular function. During the last several years, the use of Doppler echocardiography for assessing left ventricular diastolic function has attracted increased attention. Doppler study have demonstrated that patients with ischemic heart disease have abnormal diastolic filling pattern suggesting impaired relaxation. Methods : This study was designed to correlate Doppler mitral flow velocity patterns and measuared variance with hemodynamic findings in 33 patients: 10 with myocardial infarction(group 1), 10 with angina pectoris(group 2) and 13 with no coronary disease(group 3). Results: 1. E/A ratio (0.87±0.24 m/sec versus 1.09±0.91 m/sec, P<0.05) was lower in group 1 than in group 3. 2. Significant correlation were demonstrated between pulmonary capillary wedge pressure (PCWP) and isovolumic relaxation time(IVRT) (r=-0.58; p<0.001), and E velocity (r=0.61; p<0.005). 3. IVRT was (61±30msec versus 92±35msec, p<0.05) shorter in patients with PCWP>10mmHg than in patients with PCWP≤10mmHg. Conclusion: Doppler mitral flow recordings have partially clinical potentiality in assessing left ventricalar diastolic function in patient with ischmic heart disease.

There are many advantages and disadvantages under the limited bachelor's admission system. To diminish the demerits and to increase the merits of this system, the authors posed questions to the faculties and students of the Department of Medicine. Chosun University College of Medicine and other colleges in Korea. The questionnaire was made according to trends and feelings in this system. We received a lot of information and suggestions as to how to improve the system, in the following paper we discuss and report the prospective aspects of the bachelor's admission system.

Melandrin의 방향족 유도체 합성에 관한 연구

Melandrin, as a possible phytoalexin, which is expected to have the various pharmacological activities; antibacterial, antifungal and antiviral activity, was isolated in 1987 by Woo from Melandrin firmum (Caryophyllaceae). The synthesis of melandrin derivatives has been accomplished by the reaction of 5-hydroxy anthranilic acid ethyl ester with acid chlorides and then by hydrolysis of ethyl ester.

Bacillus sphaericus ts-U311의 단백질 합성변화의 전기영동적 분석

Bacillus sphaercus 1593 K-5와 ts-U311의 총 세포 단백질을 전기영동적인 방법으로 비교했다. 1. B. sphaercus 1593 K-5와 ts-U311의 총 단백질간에는 분자량과 등전점에서 많은 차이가 있었으나,동일 균주에서는 성장온도 변화에 따른 단백질 양상에서 거의 차이가 없었다. 2.B.sphaericus 1593 K-5는 분자량이 최고 225Kd에서 최저 13Kd에 걸쳐 총 26개 밴드가 분리되었고,ts-U311 은 최고 220K 달톤에서 최저 13.5K달톤까지 24개 밴드가 분리되었드며, 두 균주의 단백질은 분자량이 150,94,77,57,40,32,19Kd인 곳에서 존재유무와 양에 차이가 있었다. 3. B.sphaericus 1593 K-5 ts-U311은 pH 4.2에서 pH 4.8 사이에서 등전점을 가지는 단백질이 이차원젤상에 나타나지 않았으나, B.sphaericus 1593 K-5는 진하게 염색된 4번과 5번 단백질 점이 나타났다. 4. 이차원젤 상에서 두 균주의 단백질 종류의 차이점은 다음과 같다. 4번,5번,12번,19번,20번,21번은 B.sphaericus 1593 K-5에 존재하나 ts-U311에는 없었고, 36번,37번,38번,39번은 ts-U311에는 존재하지만 B.sphaericus 1593 K-5에는 없었다. 또한,3번,6번,27번,28번,29번,35번은 단백질의 양에서 차이가 있었고,여러 곳에서 전개위치가 약간씩 다르게 나타났다. 5.B.sphaericus 1593 K-5의 단백질 중에서 분자량이 150Kd인 것이 독소인 것으로 확인되었고 ts-U311에서는 이 단백질이 없었다. 생체검정시험에서도 B.sphaericus 1593 K-5는 강력한 독성을 보였지만 ts-U311은 전혀 독성이 없었다. Protein syntheses by B. sphaericus 1593 wild type strain and ts-U311 mutant were studied by gel electrophoretic analysis. The protein patterns of the two strains were different in the molecular weight bands of 150,94,77,57,40,32 and 19 kilodaltons by SDS-polyacryl-amide gel electrophoresis analysis. In the isoelectric-focusing the proteins from B. sphaericus ts-U311 were not banded in the pH ranges 4.2 to 4.8 In the analysis of two-dimentional polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis the wild type strain had number 4,5,12,19,20 and 21 sptted proteins, but the ts-U311 did not. Number 36,37,38 and 39 spotted proteins were produced from the proteins of ts-U311,but the wild type strain did not. The 150 Kd protein from B.sphaericus wild type strain was toxic to the larvae of Culex pipiens, but it was not produced from the B.sphaericus ts-U311.

저자들은 인슐린 비의존형 당뇨병 환자에서 통증성 구강내 미란 및 전신성 수포성 미란을 동반한 심상성 천포창 1예를 경험하였기에 문헌고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다. Various skin conditions such as diabetic dermopathy, necrobiosis lipoidica diabeticorum, bullosis diabeticorum, granuloma annulare occur frequently in diabetes, although common lesions may be associated by chance. Pemphigus vulgaris(PV) is a blistering skin disease seen predominantly in elderly patients. This disorder is characterized by the loss of cohesion between epidermal cells with the resultant formation of intraepidermal blisters. These blisters rupture easily, leaving denuded areases that may crust and enlarge peripherally. In half or more of patients, lesions begin in the mouth: approximately 90% of patients have oromucosal involvement at some time during the course of their disease. But the relationship of this disorder with diabetes is not clear. We experienced a case of pemphigus vulgaris associated with NIDDM in 67 years old woman who was admitted due to painful oral ulcer and control of blood glucose, so we present this case with a review of literatures.
