      • 대형 충격해머를 이용한 구조물 동특성 실험

        본 논문에서는 대형 구조물 내의 진동원인 공조기, 펌프 등을 설치, 가동시 구조물의 동적 응답을 예측하고 건물 구조개선 방안을 제시하는데 목적을 두고 있다. 구조물에 대한 동특성 해석은 해석적인 방법과 실험적인 방법으로 이루어지고 있다. 두 가지 방법 중 본 논문에서는 실험적인 방법을 통해서 구조물 동특성 해석을 시도해 보았다. 자체 제작한 대형 충격 해머(Large Impact Hammer)를 이용해서 구조물 바닥부분에 충격을 가진하여 물체에 작용하는 힘과 이로 인하여 발생되는 진동을 각각의 센서에 의해 측정, 분석하여 구조물의 모드형상을 확인하고 고유주파수를 측정하였다. 해석결과에서는 대형 충격 해머를 이용하여 대형 구조물의 동특성 테스트가 가능할 것이라는 것도 예상할 수 있었고, 임의의 진동원 설비가 설치되어 있는 구역에서 구조물의 동특성을 알고 진동원 가동시 발생하는 진동레벨을 측정하여 실험적으로 구하면 임의의 진동원 설비에서 발생하는 동하중이 산출 가능함을 알 수 있었다. 역으로 구조물의 동특성과 진동원의 동하중을 알면 구조물에 발생하는 진동레벨을 예측할 수 있음을 확인하였다. This paper predicted dynamic responses of structures and presented the solution of structural improvements when vibration sources(pump, motor etc.) were activated in structures. The analyses for the dynamic characteristics are the experimental method and theoretical analysis. This study used the experimental method. The mode shapes and natural frequencies are obtained by large impact hammer. It is possible to test the dynamic characteristics of structures using impact hammer. If it is possible to measure the vibration level when vibration sources were operated, it would be possible to compute dynamic weight. On the other hand, the vibration level could be calculated if dynamic weight can be measured.

        In this paper, we have presented comparative characteristics of band-pass filter and high-pass filter using VCGIC(Voltage Controlled Genenalized Impedance Converter), which are the non-linearized VCR(Voltage Controlled Resistance) and the linearized VCR. We concluded that the linearized VCGIC circuit has the wide dynamic range and the improved linearity.

        심장수술 시 농축적혈구, 자가수혈기 혈액, 체외 순환기 혈액에서의 유리 혈색소 농도 비교

        Background: Intraoperative autotransfusion or residual blood in a cardiopulmonaty bypass (CPB) circuit has been used to reduce the need for an homologous blood transfutsion during cardiac surgery. However, it may contain some free hemoglobin released from damaged cells. The load of blood containing free hemoglobin may cause renal dysfunction. We measured the amount of free hemoglobin in backed blood, cell saver blood and CPB blood to evaluate what is the least hemolytic blood transfused in cardiac surgery. Methods: This study was performed in 20 patients undergoing cardiac surgery. In each patient, the banked blood, intraoperative salvaged blood with a cell saver and CPB residual blood were sampled at the end of the operation. The concentration of free hemoglobin, hemoglobin and platelet counts were measured in these blood samples and percent of hemolysis was calculated (%hemolysis = [free hemoglobin] / .free hemogloben + hemoglobin]) Results: In salvaged blood with a cell saver, CPB residual blood and banked blood, hemoglobin concentrations were 20.1 ± 2.7 g/dl, 8.0 ± 1.1 g/dl, and 22.2 ± 2.7 g/dl, respectively. Free hemoglobin concentrations were 336.6 ± 239.5 mg/dl, 49.2 ± 26.8 mg/dl, and 279.5 ± 167.5 mg/dl respectively. Platelet counts were 26.1 ± 22.2 × 10^3/mm^3, 116.8 ± 56.5 × 10^3/mm^3, and 94.9 ± 43.6 × 10^3/mm^3 respectively. % Hemolysis were 1.6 ± 1.1%, 0.6 ± 0.4%, and 1.2 ± 0.7% respectively. In the comparison between the salvaged blood with a cell saver and CPB residual blood, free hemoglobin concentration, % hemolysis, and platelet counts had positive correlations (r = 0.8, 0.7, and 0.6). Conclusions: In twenty cardiac surgeries, CPB residual blood had a lower free hemoglobin level than the other two blood groups. The platelet counts in CPB residual blood were higher than those in cell saver blood but did not differ from those in banked blood. Therefore, CPB residual blood was the least hemolytic blood among the three blood groups when a transfusion was performed in cardiac surgery. (Korean J Acesthesiol 2002; 43: 588~593)

      • 開墾地의 耕耘整地및 丞水路作業에 關한 硏究

        It is necessary to develop and supply special equipment suitable for reclaimed area agriculture in accordance with the progress of agricultural mechanization. But it is more worth while to consider how to effectively use the machinery such as tractors and power tillers which have already been supplied for reclaimed area agriculture. Thus we have carried out an experiment to study the working rate slope and safety of the machine frame when this machinery is used in the area. 1. Plowing working rate of bottom plough was 35.8 minute per 10 ares on the 6 slope and 47.6 minutes on the 10 slope. These working rates were lower. than those of flat land by 44% and 33% respectively. Working rates of disc harrow on the 6 and 10 slopes were 55-76% of the working rates at the flat land. In case of power tiller, working rates on slopes were about 35-58% of those an float land. 2. Harrowing working rates on the Rotavator was 18.5 minutes per 10 ares on the 6 slope and 22.01 minutes on the 10 slope. 3. The working rate of making catch canals was 18.8 minutes per 50m of catch canal when a disc harrow was used on the 6 slope. 4. The real slope of the tractor body in the plowing operation in accordence with the different land slope is almost the same when plowing by bottom plough or plowing by disc plow. However, considering the overturn of tractor on the steep slope and the proliferation of roots it is better to plow by disc plough than by bottom plough. 5. During ploughing operation in the sloping area, the inclination of the tractor with bottom plough was more than that of the tractor equipped with disc harrow and for power tiller it was more with rubber tire than with cage wheel. 6. It was found that the steeper the slope is, the more was the slip of the tractor, or power tiller and the slip to the contour direction was more in conparition to the slip occured to the direction of the slope.

      • 金剛山댐 建設에 따른 北漢江 上流 水域의 環境 모니터링에 관한 硏究

        Aquatic ecosystem was studies in Lake Paro to monitor the effects of the Keumkangsan Dam construction in North Korea. Water quality, primary prodectivity, and microbes were serveyed bimonthly in 1987. The texture and composition of sediments, and meterological sapects were also investigated. The most remarkable change of water quality was the increase of turbidity. due to the dam construction. Overall chemical and biological aspects were greatly changed because of the high turbidity. The concentration of phosphate increased and subsequently phytoplankto standing corp increased. The effect of phosphate increase was compensated by the decrease of light penetration, and, therefore areal primary prodectivity was not so high as expected from the chlorophyll concentration. From the standing corp of microbes, the trophic state of lake Paro was evaluated as mesotrophy. As for the horizontal variation of microbial activity, the microbial heterotrophy was higher in the upstream regions than in the downstream regions. Sediment types are almost clayey silt and the mean sizes of sediments were homogeneous through the whole lake area. Organic carbon contents of the sediment seemed to be influenced by seasonal variation of primary productivity.

        수지상세포의 방사선 저항성에 대한 연구

        목적 : 림프구와 비교되는 수지상 세포의 방사선 민감성을 보기 위하여 본 연구를 시행하였다. 대상 및 방법 : 말초혈액에서 분리한 T 림프구에 0 Gy, 10 Gy, 30 Gy의 방사선을 조사하고 4시간 후에 유세포 분석기를 이용하여 선량별 세포고사 빈도를 관찰하였다. 또한 조혈모세포에서 미성숙 및 성숙 수지상 세포를 단계적으로 분리 배양하여 각각 0 Gy, 10 Gy, 30 Gy, 100 Gy의 방사선을 조사하고 4시간, 24시간 그리고 48 시간 후에 선량별 세포고사 빈도를 관찰하였다. 사이토스핀(cytospin)슬라이드에 림프구와 미성숙 및 성숙 수지상세포를 3×104개 씩 분주하고 May Grunwald-Giemsa 염색한 후, 광학 현미경 하에서 각각의 세포군 당 100개의 세포에서 세포 면적당 핵의 면적 비를 측정하였다. 결과 : 림프구에서는 방사선조사 선량별로 세포고사 빈도가 유의하게 증가하였으나, 수지상 세포에서는 그 분화정도나 방사선조사 선량에 따른 세포고사의 빈도차이가 없었다. 또한 수지상 세포는 방사선선량과 관계없이 용량에 의존적으로 강력한 T-세포 자극능을 보였다. 림프구의 세포에 대한 핵의 면적 비는 미성숙 및 성숙 수지상세포의 세포에 대한 핵의 면적 비보다 현저히 큰 반면, 두 가지 수지상세포간에 유의한 차이는 없었다. 결론 : 수지상세포는 그 분화도와 상관없이 림프구에 비하여 방사선 저항성을 나타내었고, 이는 세포의 형태적 차이에 따른 표적의 크기와 관련이 있을 것으로 생각되며, 향후 분자 생물학적인 연구의 기초 자료로 활용할 수 있을 것으로 생각된다. Purpose : To evaluate radiation sensitivity of dendritic cells in comparison with lymphocytes. Materials and methods : T lymphocytes captured from peripheral blood were irradiated by 0 Gy, 10 Gy, 30Gy. Apoptosis was measured by flowcytometry for staining of Annexin V 4 hours after irradiation. Immature and mature dendritic cells processed from blood hematopoietic stern cell were irradiated by 0 Gy, 10 Gy, 30 Gy, 100 Gy respectively and apoptosis was measured by flowcytometry with time difference as 4h, 24h and 48h after irradiation. Morphometric analysis by percent nucleus was measured in three cell groups, also. Results : Lymphocytes showed radiation sensitivity by increasing apoptotic fraction according to radiation dose. However, both mature and immature dendritic cells showed consistent fraction of apoptosis in spite of increasing radiation dose. Percent nucleus ratio is significantly higher in lymphocytes than that of mature or immature dendritic cells. Stimulation of T-cell by dendritic cells was not changed after irradiation. Conclusion : Dendritic cells showed radioresistance which was associated with small size of nucleus in comparison with lymphocytes and this result would be used as a basal data of radio-labelling for the cellular trafficking studies in nuclear medicine fields.

        Inhibitory Activity of Edible Plant Extracts on Proliferation of Human Umbilical Vein Endothelial Cells (HUVECs)

        Thirteen edible plants previously reported to show inhibitory activities on farnesyl protein transferase (FPTase) and phosphatase of the regenerating liver-3 (PRL-3) were evaluated for inhibitory activity on the proliferation of human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVECs). Four plant extracts, Oenothera erythrosepala, Perilla frutescens, Panicum miliaceum, and Quercus acutissima, significantly inhibited the proliferation of HUVECs induced by the basic fibroblast growth factor (bFGF) without cytotoxicity at 100 ${\mu}g/mL$. Myristica fragrans, Rosmarinus officinalis, and Syringa patula also showed inhibitory activity on the proliferation with only mild cytotoxicity.

        Effects of Pruning on Timber Quality of Pinus koraiensis Grown in Korea

        This study was performed to obtain the basic data for high quality timber production and efficient utilization by investigating the effect of pruning on timber quality of domestic plantation-grown Korean pine (Pinus koraiensis Sieb. et Zucc.). The results were summarized as follows: Dead knots (unsound knots) in the pruned logs occurred more at upper parts when compared with in non-pruned ones. The numbers of knots on surface in heavily pruned trees were less than those in non-pruned trees, hut there was no significant difference in moderately pruned trees. The required period to reveal clear timber surface without defects after pruning increased proportionally with the increase of knot diameter. The yield of clear lumber production increased by about 10% after 14 years from moderate pruning. The quality grade of log improved with more pruning practices. Knots appeared the most important factor in lowering the log grades.

This method can be implemented via a combined approach based on molecular dynamics simulation and integral-equation theory of liquids. An illustrative application is made to 42-residue amyloid-beta protein in water. We demonstrate how this method enables one to elucidate the molecular origin for the hydration entropy change upon conformational transitions of protein.</P>
