During the last few years the traumatic basal subarachnoid hemorrhage(SAH) has been recognized that blows to the neck, head and face can give rise to fatal SAH because of tearing of the intrathecal course of a vertebral artery or basilar artery. No doubt a number of SAH are due to rupture of non-aneurysmal vessels or aneurysm too small to find, but unrecognized vertebral artery trauma would have accounted for remainder. In these cases, there may be no external sign at all. Unfortunately the deep or lateral portion of neck is the area that is not routinely dissected at autopsy. This is probably why this syndrome was not recognized until a few years ago. The mechanisms of injury and hemorrhage have been inadequately explored and demonstrated due to absence of appropriate and adequate anatomic dissection. According to the current literature on the traumatic basal SAH, the cause of death is now hypothesized to have been a tear in the vertebral artery associated with hyperextension and rotation.

The authors analysed 53 cases of sudden cardiac death(SCD) without prominent structural abnormalies of heart out of witnessed 300 cases. Thirty four cases were associated with sleep and 19 with activity or rest. Twenty one cases were classified as having normal hearts, and the rest as structurally mild abnormal ones. Male was predominant, and almost of the victims were suffered in their twenties or thirties. All cases collapsed instantaneously or in very short time with various and not specific terminal symptoms. Inducing or trigger factors are not clarified in almost of the cases. Mechanisms or causes of death could not be defined clearly. We concluded that careful heart examination with detailed clinical history under the appropriate postmortem investigation system is only effective approach for the true mechanism and cause of death.

The runaway reaction was analyzed experimently and theoretically at the batch styrene suspension polymerization process. In the experiments, the reaction temperature with time was measured at various experimental conditions. According to the experimental results, the risk of the runaway reaction was increased with increasing the ratio of the monomer(styrene, M) to the dispersion medium(water, W), the concentration of the initiator(BPO), and the monomer mass, respectively. And simulation results showed that the runaway reaction was significantly affected by the reaction rate constant of the propagation and that the phenomena of the runaway reaction occurred at about 70% conversion. Also, we found that the runaway reaction did not occur under the operation condition of below 0.5 for M/W, approximate 3 wt% BPO, and below 75℃ for the cooling temperature.
진성 복압성 요실금 환자에서 복강경하 방광경부현수술의 유용성: 타술식과의 비교 연구

연구목적: 진성 복압성 요실금의 치료법으로서 복강경을 이용한 Burch 수술을 타수술법과 비교하여 그 유용성을 알아보고자 하였다. 대상 및 방법: 진성 복압성 요실금을 주소로 본원 비뇨기과에서 수술을 시행받은 44명의 환자를 수술법별로 분류하여 수술법에 따른 성공률, 수술 시간, 입원 기간 및 합병증의 빈도를 비교 분석 하였다. 결과: 전체 환자에서 수술 성공률은 86.4% 였으며 이들 중 복강경을 이용한 Burch 수술군에서는 성공률이 100% 이었다. 복강경을 이용한 Burch 수술군은 타수술군에 비하여 입원 기간이 짧았다. 복강경을 이용한 Burch 수술군은 합병증이 매우 경미하였으며 전체 환자의 31.8%에서 단기간의 배뇨곤란을 호소하였으나 장기간의 배뇨곤란은 없었으며 슬링 수술군에서는 3례(16.7%)에서 심한 절박성 요실금을 호소하였다. 결론: 복강경을 이용한 Burch 수술은 높은 치료 성공률과 낮은 합병증의 빈도를 나타내어 진성 복압성 요실금의 치료에서 매우 우수한 수술법으로 사료된다. Purpose: We performed this study to investigate the usefulness of laparoscopic Burch colposuspension as a treatment of genuine stress incontinence compare to other anti-incontinence operation. Materials and Methods : We analyzed success rate, operation time, admission day, and complication rate of various anti-incontinence operations in 44 genuine stress incontinence patients who have been received operation in our hospital. Results : Overall success rate was 86.4%, but laparoscopic Burch coposuspension showed 100% success rate. Laparoscopic Burch colposuspension required shorter admission day compared to other anti-incontinence oparations. Complication rate was lower in laparoscopic Burch colposuspension group. Short-term voiding problems were identified in 31.8% of total patients but 3 patients(16.7%) who have received sling operation complained severe urge incontinence. Conclusion : Laparoscopic Burch colposuspension is considered as an effective surgical method for genuine stress incontinence due to high success rate and low complication rate.

The decision of appropriate cost and duration is one of the most important things which effect on project's success at<br/> early stage. This is so-called time-cost trade-off problem, which has been studied extensively. 쇼트트랙 스케이팅과 스피드 스케이팅 선수의 신체구성 체력 및 등속성 근기능의 비교

The aim of the study was to compare body composition, physical fitness and isokinetic strength between short-track and speed skaters. The subjects who participated in this study were 33 short-track skaters and 21 speed skaters who were enrolled in Korea Ice Skate Association in 2014. Anthropometric measurements included body height and body weight. Body composition was measured by DXA. Physical fitness tests included sit and reach, grip strength, sit-ups, standing long jump and 50m shuttle run. Aerobic and anaerobic capacity were also measured. Isokinetic muscular strength was measured by Cybex 770. The results of the study indicated that anaerobic fatigue(p<.05), muscular endurance(p<.05) in short-track skaters was significantly greater than in speed skaters. 50m shuttle run(p<.05) in speed skaters was significantly greater than short-track skaters. However, no differences could be obtained in body composition, sit and reach, grip strength, sit-ups, standing long jump and aerobic capacity between the two groups. This may have implications for training and performance both in short-track and speed skating.
