In Dae Jeon Eul-Ji General Hospital, activated since 1581, 54 patients with Korean Hemorrhagic Fever Who were all positive for Korea antigen were observed from January, 1981 to December, 1984. Epidemiology, clinical features, laboratory findings, complications and clinical course in Korean Hemorrhagic Fever were analyzed. The results were as follows: 1. The most prevalent area was OK-Chun Kun. 2. The peak incidence of age was fifth decade and male to female ratio was 2:1. 3. The peak incidence was November to December. 4. The most frequent symptomes were epigastric pain, nausea and vomiting and followed by hemsturia. 5. Conservative treatment was done and hemodialysis was performed in 19 patients without death.
Efficient Context-Aware Scheme for Sensor Network in Ubiquitous Devices

Many sensor network applications have been developed for smart home, disaster management, and a wide range of other applications. These applications, however, generally assume a fixed base station as well as fixed sensor nodes. Previous research on sensor networks mainly focused on efficient transmission of data from sensors to fixed sink nodes. Recently there has been active research on mobile sink nodes, sink mobility is one of the most comprehensive trends for information gathering in sensor networks, but the research of an environment where both fixed sink nodes and mobile sinks are present at the same time is rather scarce. This paper proposes a scheme for context-aware by ubiquitous devices with the sink functionality added through fixed sinks under a previously-built, cluster-based multi-hop sensor network environment. To this end, clustering of mobile devices were done based on the fixed sinks of a previously-built sensor network, and by using appropriate fixed sinks, context gathering was made possible. By mathematical comparison with TTDD routing protocol, which was proposed for mobile sinks, it was confirmed that performance increases by average 50% in energy with the number of mobile sinks, and with the number of movements by mobile devices.
Measurement of Internal Electric Field in GaN-Based Light-Emitting Diodes

<P>The internal electric field due to the piezoelectric effect in an InGaN/GaN multiple quantum-well structure is measured via photoluminescence (PL), electroreflectance (ER), and photocurrent (PC) spectroscopies, and the measurement results are compared with each other and with theoretically calculated values. The flat-band voltage is estimated by measuring the applied bias voltage that induces the maximum in PL peak energy by the quantum-confined Stark effect, 180° phase shift in the ER spectrum, and the smallest band tail state in the PC spectrum. The internal electric fields estimated by the PL, PC, and ER spectra are -1.81, -2.12±0.14, and -2.04 MV/cm, respectively. The measured piezoelectric fields are in good agreement with theoretically calculated values. Possible factors affecting piezoelectric field measurements are discussed from various perspectives.</P>
SMS를 이용한 GIS기반 인터넷 경매시스템 설계 및 구현

As the generalization of electronic commerce activate internet auction, the user needs for internet auction system is getting more diverse. In this paper we propose a GIS-based internet auction system for a disused car by using SMS, which could connect customer to junkyards in the whole country. Due to expensive traction cost, only the junkyards within a certain distance from the location of disused car can make a bid. And it is not easy to access internet for bidding in junkyard's working condition. As the proposed auction system with SMS method solves these constraints and can search adjacent junkyards among national union to process an optimal auction by using GIS, we can expect that the bidder reduce traction cost and the customer get an opportunity for the highest bid price.
주기억 데이터베이스 시스템을 위한 병행수행 제어 프로토콜

Most of the main memory database systems use two-phase locking(2PL) for concurrency control. the 2PL method is preferred over other methods for concurrency control because of its simplicity and common usage. However, conventional concurrency control solution will function poorly when the data are memory resident. In this paper, we propose a new optimistic concurrency control protocol for a main memory database system. In our proposed protocol, transaction conflict information is used in validation phase to improve data conflict resolution decisions. Our experiments show that the proposed protocol performs better than 2PL in term of throughput for main memory database system environments.

In this paper we propose a GIS-based decision support system for the optimal school assignment. The principle rule of the Office of Education for student allocation is to assign student to the nearest middle school within the capacity for the convenience of attending school. To guarantee the right of school choice, students can apply for entrance to middle school first. To assign school this way, the teacher in charge should prepare the table of short distance. But it is not easy to measure the distance from all students‘ home to school. Although various kind of different assignment methods are adopted in the local Office of Education, parents appeal against their assignment often. The proposed system solve these problems by using GIS network analysis scheme and provide a powerful simulation function to look out for a optimal school assignment policy.

목적: 대퇴골 간부 골절치료 후 발생한 불유합의 수술적 치료 결과를 임상적 및 방사선학적으로 분석하고자 하였다. 대상 및 방법: 1993년 1월부터 1999년 12월까지 대퇴골 간부 불유합으로 수술한 환자 21예를 대상으로 하였으며 추시 기간은 평균 15개월이었다. 초기 골절의 원인, 형태와 분류 및 불유합의 원인을 임상적 및 방사선학적으로 분석하였다. 불유합의 수술 방법으로 자가골 이식술과 교합성 골수강내 금속정을 이용한 견고한 내고정술을 시행하였으며 골유합의 기간과 결과를 분석하였다. 결과: 평균 골유합 기간은 22주이었으며 21예중 18예(85.7%)에서 골유합 소견을 보였고 합병증으로는 하지 단축과 파행이 2예, 관절 부분 강직이 2예, 천부 감염이 2예이었다. 결론: 대퇴골 간부 불유합의 치료시 그 원인과 형태에 따라 자가골 이식술과 교합성 골수강내 금속정을 이용한 견고한 내고정술로 양호한 결과를 얻을 수 있을 것으로 생각되었다. Purpose: The purpose of this study is to analyze the clinical and radiological result of surgical treatment for femoral shaft nonunion. Materials and methods: From January 1993 to December 1999, 21 cases of femoral shaft nonunion were treated surgically and followed for an average of 15 months. We analyzed initial cause of injuries, classification of fractures, and cause of nonunion in clinically and radiologically. The authors analyzed the average time to union and results after surgical treatment by rigid internal fixation with interlocking intramedullary nail and autogenous bone graft. Results: The mean duration of bony union was 22 weeks and bony union achieved in 18 cases(85.7%) of 21 cases. The complications were shortening of leg length and limping gait in 2 cases, partial limitation of knee joint in 2 cases, superficial infection in 2 cases. Conclusion: Rigid internal fixation with interlocking intrameduallary nail and bone graft is useful method of treatment for femoral shaft nonunion according to cause and type of nonunion.
