        한국·중국·일본 대입시험 국어 평가 문항 비교 분석 : 독서 평가 문항을 중심으로

        이 연구는 한국·중국·일본 대입 국어 시험의 독서 평가 문항을 비교·분석하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 중국 가오카오 ‘현대문 독해’, 일본 센터시험의 ‘현대문’, 한국 수능 시험의 ‘독서’ 지문 및 문항을 비교·분석하였다. 지문 분석 결과, 가오카오와 센터시험의 경우, 긴 지문 1~2개를 제시하여 독서의 실제성을 강조하는 반면 수능은 지문 3~4개를 제시하여 다양한 주제의 글을 읽는 능력을 평가하는 데 초점이 있었다. 또한 수능 독서 지문은 길이가 짧아도 정보의 밀도가 높은 반면, 가오카오나 센터시험의 지문은 실제 글을 발췌하여 비유적이고 추상적인 표현이 많다는 특징이 있었다. 문항 분석 결과, 첫째, 사실적·추론적 이해를 평가하는 문항의 경우, 가오카오는 글의 대의를 묻는 단순한 문형이 많은 반면, 센터시험이나 수능은 보다 세부적인 독해를 요구하는 문항이 많았다. 또한 센터시험은 주로 지문 정보를 세밀하게 읽어야 하는 답지를 활용하여, 수능은 지문에 흩어진 여러 정보를 조합해야 하는 답지를 활용하여 난도를 조절하는 차이가 있었다. 둘째, 세 시험 모두 비판적 이해를 제대로 묻는 문항이 존재하지 않았으나, 글의 표현이나 논지 전개방식 등에 드러난 필자의 의도를 평가하는 문항을 통해 간접적으로 비판적 이해를 평가하고 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 셋째, 가오카오나 센터시험과 달리 수능 국어영역은 적용·창의형 문항을 통해 독해 결과를 새로운 관점이나 상황으로 적용하는 능력을 평가한다는 점에서 다른 시험과 차별화된 평가 요소를 갖는다는 점을 확인할 수 있었다. This study aims to compare and analyze the reading evaluation items of Korean, Chinese, and Japanese university entrance exams. Analysis of these texts revealed that, in the case of the Gāokǎo and Center Exam, one or two long texts are presented to emphasize the practicality of reading. The CSAT, however, is used to evaluate a student’s ability to read various topics by presenting three to four texts. In addition, although the CSAT reading texts are short in length, their densities of information are high. The texts of the Gāokǎo and Center Examinations are characterized by many metaphorical and abstract expressions, as they are excerpts from actual texts. The results of the item analysis were as follows. First, in the case of questions evaluating factual and reasoning understanding, Gāokǎo features simple patterns that ask for the subject of the text; the center exam and CSAT have many questions that require more detailed reading. Second, none of the three tests contain questions that properly assess critical understanding; however, it was indirectly evaluated through questionnaires evaluating the authors’ intentions, revealed in the form of expression or thesis development. Third, unlike the Gāokǎo anda student’s ability to apply the reading results to a new perspective or situation through application-creative questions.         Monkeypox Vaccination in the Republic of Korea: Identifying the High-Risk Target Group

        In June 2022, the first monkeypox case was reported as imported into Korea. The general public asked whether they should get vaccinated against monkeypox because of the recent COVID-19 vaccination experience. As of the current monkeypox outbreak situation, a ring vaccination strategy for the high-risk group is more appropriate than the mass population vaccination with smallpox vaccines. Therefore, identifying the proper target group by available vaccines based on the risk and benefit analysis is a key issue of the vaccination program. In addition, the target group should be reviewed by the epidemiological situation of the jurisdiction along with the updated evidence of the monkeypox virus on transmission dynamics, severity, and fatality.

        Recently, due to rapid changes in the automotive industry such as autonomous driving/connectivity, there is a need for appropriate responses to software that controls vehicle convenience functions.. In these reasons, function software must be structured to ensure independence, reusability and maintainability between individual components. The Output oriented software component structure is suitable as a structural design technique capable of satisfying such vehicle function software requirements, which can flexibly cope with future vehicle architecture design and application such as an integrated controller in the future. In addition, even if new functions are added in various combinations for each vehicle, it is possible to respond to this through minimal software component modification, thereby minimizing the impact of software changes.

      • Primary cutaneous nocardiosis caused by Nocardia takedensis

        Nocardia is an aerobic, Gram-positive, filamentous, actinomycete strain which is found worldwide in the soil and decaying organic plant matter. Most of the infections of Nocardia species are through the respiratory tract and disseminate systemically, but rarely, resulting from direct inoculation of the skin, primarily. Early notice of nocardiosis is particularly important, because of the high risk of dissemination. Hence, prompt identification of this organism is indispensable. We describe a case of 87-year-old women diagnosed with primary cutaneous nocardiosis on her forearm caused by Nocardia takedensis, which was identified by bacterial culture and 16S ribosomal RNA sequencing. Histopathologically, H&E stain showed neutrophil dominant mixed infliltration and abscess formation in the dermis. Grocott-Gomori methenamine silver stain showed several filamentous bacilli in the tissue specimen. Gram stain and Periodic acid-Schiff were also positive. The patient were improved with trimethoprim-sulfamethoxazole and ceftriaxone antibiotics therapy for 2 months. Herein, we report the 1st case of primary cutaneous nocardiosis caused by Nocardia takedensis in Korea.

      • Laser filament bottom-up growth sintering for multi-planar diffraction-limit printing and its application to ultra-transparent wearable thermo-electronics

        <P>We report a novel cost-effective digital fabrication method for the production of high resolution electrodes of 1 μm-grade width on multiple planes connected at an angle using an affordable light source. This was achieved by the laser filament growth sintering of nanoseed/organometallic hybrid precursors, which were reformulated from a low-cost, particle-free, ionic organometallic solution. Growth sintering of the hybrid precursor, which creates solid electrodes through the sequential thermo-chemical interactions of nucleation, clustering, thermal growth, and aggregation, improves the conductivity and resolution of the electrodes <I>via</I> bottom-up thermal crystallization and stable chemical transition processes. The laser filament with a Bessel profile, which was modulated from a conventional low-cost laser with a Gaussian profile, localizes the growth sintering interaction within a transversely elongated focusing area close to the diffraction limit, unlike the very narrow focusing area in typical laser optics. As a result, this method enabled the fabrication of an ultra-transparent conductor with a transmittance of more than 97% in the visible spectrum. The electrodes were completely invisible to the naked eye, even when viewed at close range. A transparent micro-heater for humidity-free smart glasses was successfully fabricated to demonstrate the potential of one-step manufacturing of functional wearable devices.</P>

        Characterization of the Vertical Position of the Trapped Charge in Charge-trap Flash Memory

        In this paper, the characterization of the vertical position of trapped charges in the charge-trap flash (CTF) memory is performed in the novel CTF memory cell with gate-all-around structure using technology computer-aided design (TCAD) simulation. In the CTF memories, injected charges are not stored in the conductive poly-crystalline silicon layer in the trapping layer such as silicon nitride. Thus, a reliable technique for exactly locating the trapped charges is required for making up an accurate macro-models for CTF memory cells. When a programming operation is performed initially, the injected charges are trapped near the interface between tunneling oxide and trapping nitride layers. However, as the program voltage gets higher and a larger threshold voltage shift is resulted, additional charges are trapped near the blocking oxide interface. Intrinsic properties of nitride including trap density and effective capture cross-sectional area substantially affect the position of charge centroid. By exactly locating the charge centroid from the charge distribution in programmed cells under various operation conditions, the relation between charge centroid and program operation condition is closely investigated.

        Preparation of synthetic graphite from waste PET plastic

        The development of new technologies for converting waste plastics into value-added products isattracting widespread attention because of the global plastic waste crisis. In this study, we present anovel route for the upcycling of waste plastics, wherein synthetic graphite is prepared from a wastepolyethylene-terephthalate (PET) bottle through a facile and scalable method. PET was successfullyconverted to graphite via a synthetic method of pyrolysis at 900 C followed by boron-assisted catalyticgraphitization at 2400 C. This technique overcame the intrinsic non-graphitizable property of PET andyielded graphite showing high crystallinity with the maximum crystallite size of 20.9 nm in Lc and thed(002) spacing of 3.373 Å. In particular, it showed a much higher degree of graphitization (80.6%) than that(68.9%) derived from a well-known AR mesophase pitch (Mitsubishi). In addition, via a microwave-assisted liquid-phase exfoliation, the PET-derived graphite was successfully exfoliated as graphene sheetswith the average lateral size of 410 nm. We expect that our work can guide the innovative upcycling ofwaste plastics to invaluable synthetic graphite, which has many potential applications such as anodematerials in secondary batteries andfillers for carbon composites, and may serve as an alternative sourcefor graphene production.

      • A case of giant keratoacanthoma on unusual site

        Giant keratoacanthoma is a rare variant of keratoacanthoma (KA) with a maximum size exceeding 2-3cm. In addition to its size, it often gives rise to the severe anatomic damage of the surrounding tissue, leaving a deforming scar even after the spontaneous involution. Giant KA occured predominately in elderly males. 98.3% of gaint KAs reported in English literatures to date were located on head and limbs. A 69-year-old male patient had 3x5cm sized pink colored irregular shaped protruding bridge-like mass with yellow crusted bumpy surface on sacral area, which had enlarged progressively over the previous 2 months. For diagnosis, incisional biopsy has done. Histopathologically, H&E stain showed marked hyperplastic epithelium with eosinophilic glassy kertinocytes, several horn-filled craters, intraepithelial microabscesses and mixed infltraton of inflammatory cells of the dermis. For non surgical approach, oral acitretin was administered. Mass showed partial regression and some pigmented scars left on the margin of the lesion after 2 months from first visit. We report giant KA on unusual site, also suggest that oral acitretin is a effective non-operative modality to minimize anatomic damage for the treatment of giant KA.
