A selective and highly sensitive spectrophotometric method has been developed for the determination of trace lead(Ⅱ) with extraction, stripping steps and replacement by copper. The Cu(DDTC)₂complex has maximum absorbance at 435nm and obeys Beer's law in the range of 0.5∼2.5ppm. The molar absorptivity and Sandell's sensitivity are 3.65 x 10⁴L/mol.cm and 10-³㎍/㎠ respectively. The proposed method was applied for the analysis of lead(Ⅱ) in synthetic water.

The primary aim of this paper is shomng various examples of word-spacing that have not been noticed carefully. As Han-geul is Mitten in syllable basically, the problems of word-spacing is out of question in pragmatic standpoint. Therefore, to solve the pragmatic problems of word-spacing we should widen pennitted limits concerning orthographical rules. In this paper, in addition to pointing out shortcomings in orthographical rules on word-spacing I argue that 'N+N', 'V-eo(어) V‘ constructions and 'the preceding nouns + the dependent nouns' should be able to be Mitten in one group. About the construction of 'N+V, I argue that the semantic independency of N should be regarded as a criterion for judging whether a form in question is a word or not and that we should study functional verbs more deeply in order to make the problem of word-spacing easy.
수냉쿨러의 냉각 효율 향상을 위한 플레이트 부품의 형상에 관한 연구

This study investigates changes in cooling efficiency for heat sink plate width, perforated width, and chamfer angle as part of a parameter study to maximize cooling efficiency of heat sink by setting various variables on plates. The width of the plate is set to 16, 20, 24, 28 mm, perforated width 1.5, 2.0, 2.5 mm, chamfer angles 5, 10, 15 and 20°. By conducting a computational study with Ansys Fluent, the sink plate with plate width of 16mm, perforated width of 3mm and chamfer angle of 10° is shown to be the best cooling efficiency.

Full-beads of multi-layer steel engine head gaskets that are used to seal the combustion gas between the head and the block are subject to cyclic bending stresses due to the variation of the head/block gap during engine operation. The L-D curve of the full-bead formed on SUS304 thin plate is important for the sealing capacity assessment. Therefore the experimental method for measuring the L-D curve must be established in gasket company. In this study the rig and the data acquisition system for measuring the L-D curve is suggested. And the experimental results are shown. This results are compared with numerical rsults obtained by using ABAQUS package.
Establishment of CRISPR/Cpf1 vector transfected cell line

Severe combined immune deficiency (SCID) pig is very important research model for biomedical research, such as the development of humanized tissues and organs for transplantation and long-term evaluation of transplanted cancer or stem cell of human origin. FOXN1 gene encodes a transcription factor essential for the development and function of thymic epithelial cells (TECs), the primary lymphoid organ that supports T-cell development and selection. In this study, we are going to produce the FOXN1 KO SCID pigs using the Crispr/Cpf1 method. Porcine genomic DNA sequences were analyzed and the target sequences were selected using a web tool, Benchling (https://benchling.com/). The designed crDNA oligos was synthesized by the Oligonucleotide Synthesis Service (Macrogen Inc., Seoul, Korea). To generate the AsCpf1-mCherry-Puro construct, pTE4396 (#74041; Addgene, Cambridge, MA, USA) was modified by removing the NeoR/KanR sequence using BstBI and SmaI. Then, the mCherry-Puro sequence from pSicoR-Ef1a-mCh-Puro (#31845; Addgene, Cambridge, MA, USA) digested with the same restriction enzymes was inserted into the aforementioned NeoR/KanR-deleted vector. The crDNA #1 or crDNA #2 was inserted into the pTE4396 and AsCpf1-mCherry-Puro vectors in the U6 promoter region using BsmBI enzyme, respectively. The two vectors were transfected with lipofectamine 3000 (Life Technologies, Grand Island, NY, USA) and selected with puromycin and G-418 antibiotics. As a result, we established a cell line into which two vectors (pTE4396+crFOXN1#2 and AsCpf1- mCherry-Puro+ crFOXN1#1) and were inserted. Further studies are needed to characterize FOXN1 KO cell lines.
The outcome of endoscopic management of bile leakage after hepatobiliary surgery

Background/Aims: Despite improvements in surgical techniques and postoperative patient care, bile leakage can occur after hepatobiliary surgery and may lead to serious complications. The aim of this retrospective study was to evaluate the efficacy of endoscopic treatment of bile leakage after hepatobiliary surgery. Methods: The medical records of 20 patients who underwent endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography because of bile leakage after hepatobiliary surgery from August 2009 to September 2014 were reviewed retrospectively. Endoscopic treatment included insertion of an endoscopic retrograde biliary drainage stent after endoscopic sphincterotomy. Results: Most cases of bile leakage presented as percutaneous bile drainage through a Jackson-Pratt bag (75%), followed by abdominal pain (20%). The sites of bile leaks were the cystic duct stump in 10 patients, intrahepatic ducts in five, liver beds in three, common hepatic duct in one, and common bile duct in one. Of the three cases of bile leakage combined with bile duct stricture, one patient had severe bile duct obstruction, and the others had mild strictures. Five cases of bile leakage also exhibited common bile duct stones. Concerning endoscopic modalities, endoscopic therapy for bile leakage was successful in 19 patients (95%). One patient experienced endoscopic failure because of an operation-induced bile duct deformity. One patient developed guidewire-induced microperforation during cannulation, which recovered with conservative treatment. One patient developed recurrent bile leakage, which required additional biliary stenting with sphincter-otomy. Conclusions: The endoscopic approach should be considered a first-line modality for the diagnosis and treatment of bile leakage after hepatobiliary surgery.
