      • 탈회동결건조골에 혼합한 형질 변형 성장인자(TGF-β1)가 골조직 재생에 미치는 효과

        The purpose of ss this study was to observe the effect of TGF-Rl on the regeneration of bone in guided bore regeneration. Four adult dogs aged 12 to 24 months were used in this study. Experimental bone defects were created surgically with surgical bur and chisel on the 3th. premolars. In experimental group; bone defect were grafted with DFDB and TGF-R1. In control groups, bone defects were grafted with only Dl-.DB. At 1, 2, 3 and 4 weeks, dogs were serially sacrificed and specimens were prepared with Hematoxylin-Eosin stain and Goldner`s stain for light microscopic evaluation. The results of this study were as follows 1. The infiltration of inflammatory cells was prominent in control groups at 1, 2 and 3 weeks. 2. The lining of osteoblast was observed at 2 weeks in control group, but at 1 week in experimental group. 3. In both groups, osteoid was formed at 2 weeks. In control groups, osteoid was fromed on only bone surface. but in experimental groups, osteoid were formed on both bone & DFDB surfaces. 4. In only experimental groups, The fusion of new bone & DFDB was only observed at 3 weeks. and the fusion of new bone & DFDG was more prominent at 4 weeks. But in control groups, No fusion of new bone & DFDB was oberved at 3 and 4weeks From the above result, the TGF-01 was effective in bone formation and increased inductive effect of DFDB guided bone regeneration technique. Inductive effect of DFDB was increased with TGF-131.

      • Interleukin-2가 Mouse간의 인산염분해효소의 활성에 미치는 영향

        In recent years, interleukin-2, a lymphokine produced by antigen or mitogenstimulated lymphocytes, has been intensively with the development of immunooncology and chemoimmunotherapy of the malignant tumor. Interleukin-2 mediates antitumor effect by stimulating the proliferation of helperand cytotoxic T cells, augmenting the cytolytic activities of cytotoxic T-lymphocytes and differentiating T-lymphocytes into a lymphokine-activated killer cell in vivo. Thus interleukin-2 induces the therapeutic effects on various sarcoma and carcinoma and regresses the pulmonary, hepatic and peritoneal metastases of various tumors. Although interleukin-2 is very effective for the treatment of various malignancy, it develops many side effects including fever, chill, malaise, mental confusion, diarrhea, vomiting and oliguria and causes pulmonary, hepatic and renal toxicities. Especially interleukin-2 results in increase of capillary permeability with weight gain, pulmonary edema, and ascites. In this experiment, the author studied the effect of interleukin-2 on the mouse liver, histochemically observing the changes in the activities of alkaline phosphatase, acid phosphatase and adenosine triphosphatase. Male mice, DDY strain, weighing 20gm, were used as experimental animals. The experimental animals were sacrificed at 3, 6, 12, 24 and 48 hours after intraperitoneal administration of two milions unit of interleukin-2 per kilogram of body weight. The specimens obtained from the liver were fixed in 10% neutral buffered formalin solution for 24 hours at 4℃ and sliced at 16㎛ thickness in a frozen cryostat. The activities of alkaline phosphatase and acid phosphatase were observed by the Gomori's method and the activity of adenosine triphosphatase was observed by the Wachstein and Meisel's method for histochemical study. The results obtained were as follows. 1. The acid phosphatase activity was strong positive at 12 hours and 24 hours groups in the central and portal zones of the liver lobules, but weak positive and moderate positive at 48 hours group in the central and portal zones of the liver lobules, respectively. 2. The alkaline phosphatase activity was weak positive at 6 hours and 12 hours groups and moderate positive at 48 hours group in the central and portal zone of the liver lobules. 3. The adenosine triphosphatase activity was trace positive in the central zone and weak positive in the portal zone of the liver lobules at 6 hours group but moderate positive at 48 hours group in the central and portal zones of the liver lobules. Consequently, it is suggested that interleukin-2 induce degenerative changes of the hepatocytes of the mouse, but it is recovered with time.

        파킨슨씨병 환자에 있어서 자가부신수질 이식술

        Recent experimental studies and clinical cases have suggested that grafting tissue from the adrenal medulla into the brain may alleviate the symptoms of Parkinson's disease. Autologous adrenal medullary grafts into the striatum was performed stereotactically in two patients with Parkinson's disease. Both patients were bedridden preoperatively, but 4 months after the surgery both became ambulatory and one was even capable of returning to his job. Even though the number of cases was small⑵ and the follow-up period was short, this study shows that adrenal medullary transplantation into the striatum may have some beneficial effects in patient with Parkinson's disease. Further experimental and clinical trials are necessary to see whether this procedure will be a recommendable surgical treatment for patients suffering from Parkinson's disease.

        Linear Accelerator를 이용한 Stereotactic Radiosurgery

        A Modified irradiation technique utilizing a linear accelerator for radiation surgery within the brain was performed in 4 patients. Three of them had brain tumors and one small arteriovenous malformation in midbrain. A Hitchcock stereotactic apparatus and a 10 MeV linear accelerator have been adapted and special computer programs for dosimetry were obtained and studied experimentally with a phantom model. Stereotactic radiosurgery is a valuable tool in the treatment of inoperable, deep seated intracranial lesions, the major advantage being high efficacy and smoothness of the procedure, as well as short hospitalization times.

        전처리방법에 따른 새송이 된장절임의 품질특성 변화

        This study was conducted to find the optimum pretreatment method to improve the quality of Pleurotus eryngii pickled with the fermented soybean paste. Blanching(70 , 10min), salting(5%, 20 , 72hr) and drying(50 , 3hr) were used as pretreatment methods. The moisture loss of the mushrooms during pickling was accelerated more by salting and drying. Salinity increase was retarded by salting. Surface and internal browning of the mushrooms were suppressed by blanching. Hardness tended to increase sharply until 20 days of pickling and then slowly decreased. In the sensory evaluation, mushrooms pickled for 40 days were scored as the highest. Blanching was a superior treatment compared to the others in term of color, taste, flavor, texture and overall acceptability.

      • 사용후핵연료 차세대관리공정 장비의 내방사선 요건 분석

        For hot operation of advanced spent fuel conditioning process(ACP), the analysis of radiation-resistant Requirements effect and the system design process are required to design equipment to operate to operate reliably in a gamma radiation environment such as hot cell. To analysis the effects of radiation for ACP, we used the SCALE codes which were certified by Nuclear Regulatory Commission(NRC). The source term was calculated which reflects the features of target nuclear fuels using ORIGEN-S, a module of the SCALE code, and the gamma dose rates were calculated by using the QADS modules, considering the geometry of process equipment respectively. the results are shows that the value was maximum 3.03 ㏉/h from the rod storage box in hot cell, maximum 0.6 ㏉/h from the metallizer, and maximum 72.0 ㏉/h from the vol-oxidizer. Considering those values, the design methods for shielding and repositioning the major equipments and components should be induced, and, the preventive maintenance for components before failure actually occurs should be minimized the effects of radiation.

        감초추출물 첨가가 청국장의 품질에 미치는 영향

        This study was conducted to investigate the effects of Glycyrrluizia uralensis water extract on the quality of Cheonggukjang(fermented soybean paste). Soybeans were soaked for 24 hrs, steamed for 1 hr at 121 , mixed with G. uralensis extract(0, 1, 3 and 5%) and fermented for 54 hrs at 40 after inoculation of Bacillus lichenifomis. The amounts of viscous substance and reducing sugar, and pH of the products were increased when the G. uralensis extract was added. The color of the products was changed to dark yellow by the addition of G. uralensis extract. Ammonia odor and bitter taste decreased as the G. uralensis extract content increased. The products added with 5% of G. uralensis extract showed higher acceptability scores than the others. Results suggest that the water extract of G. uralensis could be used as an additive to improve the quality of Cheonggukjang.

      • 유도 측방낙법의 운동학적 변인 특성분석

        The purpose of this study was to analyze the traits of the kinematical variables of Yoko ukemi(side breakfall) in Judo, when performing judoists. The subjects were four male judokas who were trainees Y. University Squad members and were filmed on two S-VHS 16㎜ video cameras (60fields/sec.) The kinematical variables were temporal and COG variables. The data of this study collection were digitized by KWON3D program computed the mean values and the standard deviation calculated for each variables. From the data analysis and discussion, the conclusions were as follows: When performing Yoko ukemi(side breakfall) in Jigo hontai(straight defensive posture): 1. Temporal variables, in the time required(TR) by phase, the first phase (take off phase average 0.77sec.) showed the longest time, and the next was the third phase (ukmi phase, 0.46sec.), the second phase(air phase, average 0.19sec.), and the total TR 1.42sec.(±0.13). 2. The body part touched order and TR by the mal were hip (0.98sec.) showed the shortest time, and the next was elbow (0.99sec.), hand(1.01sec.), back(1.01sec.), order, etc. respectively. We know motions that the hip part touched on the mat the first, but before receiving impact, using by arm, and touching by the palm of the hand more strong. 3. Posture variables, vertical COG variable in each event el(ready position 0.98cm) moved the highest, and the next was e2(jumping position, 69.70cm), e3(transition position, 62.42cm), e4(landing position, 40.05cm), and e5(ukemi position, 18.55cm), gradual decrease respectively.
