      • 원자력연구개발사업의 추진현황과 전망

        우리 나라의 원자력 연구 개발 중장기 계획은 92년부터 2001년까지 10년간을 사업 기간으로 정하고 있으며, 현재 5차 연도 연구 사업이 진행중이다. 그 동안 국내의 원자력 연구 개발을 활성화시키면서 많은 성과를 거둔 이 계획은, 96년도에 들어서면서 여러 요인에 의해 원자력 연구 개발 추진 환경에 커다란 변화를 가져옴에 따라, 현행 계획에 대한 평가 및 보완이 불가피한 것으로 보인다. 그간의 추진 경과 및 주요 결과를 돌아보고, 앞으로의 원자력 연구 개발 추진 전망을 살펴본다.

      • 하드 디스크 드라이브 회전축계의 유한요소 강제진동 해석

        In this paper, the methods to analyze various forced vibration responses are described with focus on hard disk drive spindle systems based on the finite element model. Among the numerical end results, the forced time response is expected useful for the vibration control of the spindle itself or the position servo control of the magnetic head. On the other hand, the steady state responses such as the frequency response function and the unbalance response are useful for system identification. Furthermore, through a certain coordinate transformation the equations of motion are also derived with respect to the inertial coordinate frame for convenient analyses of certain classes.

        Expression of Cyclooxygenase-2 and its Relationship to p53 Accumulation in Colorectal Cancers

        Purpose: Cyclooxygenase (COX)-2 is an inducible isoform responsive to cytokines, mitogens, and growth factors, and is believed to be an important enzyme related to colorectal cancer (CRC). Existing evidence suggests that COX-2 expression is normally suppressed by wild-type p53 but not mutant p53, suggesting that loss of p53 function may result in the induction of COX-2 expression. The aim of this study was to determine the relationship between COX-2 expression and p53 levels in CRC. Materials and Methods: Patients with sporadic colorectal adenocarcinoma (n=161) who underwent curative surgery in Chosun University Hospital were enrolled in this study. Expression of COX-2 and p53 proteins was examined by immunohistochemistry in paraffin-embedded cancer tissue blocks, and the relationship between COX-2 and/or p53 expression with clinicopathologic parameters was analyzed. Results: Expression of COX- 2 was positive in 47.8% of colorectal cancers, and significantly associated with the depth of tumor invasion (p= 0.042). In contrast, p53 was positive in 50.3% of the cases, and was associated with both age (p=0.025) and the depth of tumor invasion (p=0.014). There was no correlation between COX-2 expression and p53 expression (p=0.118). Conclusion: These results suggest that COX-2 expression might play an important role in the progression of colorectal cancer. However, COX-2 expression was not associated with mutational p53. Further studies are needed to clarify the regulatory mechanisms governing COX-2 overexpression in colorectal cancers.

        와이브로 기반의 텔레매틱스 시스템 설계

        본 논문에서는 기존에 근거리전용통신 방식보다 다양한 서비스를 제공하고, 위치정보와 무선통신망을 이용한 브랜드 콜, 화물차 및 관용차 등의 서비스에 적용이 가능할 뿐 아니라 긴급 구난 정보제공, 무선인터넷, 영화 및 게임 등 멀티미디어 서비스를 제공하기 위한 경쟁력 있는 차량용 무선 이동시스템을 설계하여 이를 바탕으로 와이브로 기반의 무선 텔레매틱스 단말시스템을 구현하고자 한다. 이동 차량 내 유비쿼터스 환경 구축을 위한 와이브로 기반의 무선 텔레매틱스 단말 시스템을 구현한다. 모의실험을 통하여 텔레매틱스 시스템의 고정대역과 가변대역에 대한 시스템 분석을 하였다. In this paper, for supporting more variable services than typical DSRC, brand call service, truck and an official vehicle services, etc. using location information and mobile communication network could be adapted. emergence helping information providing, multimedia service that are wireless internet, movies and games, are increasingly needed for competible wireless car mobile terminal. Those needs would make a development a wireless telemetries system based on WiBro interface in ubiquitous vehicle environment. We analysis the proposed telematics mobile terminal using simulation which is concerned about fixed bandwidth and dynamic bandwidth.

        Torsional Vibration Control of the Rotating Chamber Using a Reaction Wheel

        The rotating chamber is expected to significantly benefit mid-caliber automatic guns with the high firepower-to-armament space ratio. However, the parallel index, which is a core component of the chamber system, tends to be flexible in rapid operation. This may cause the chamber prone to torsional vibration so that serious misalignment problems arise during ammunition loading as well as firing processes. In this context, an active control algorithm is proposed incorporating a reaction wheel as the actuator, suppressing only the residual vibration and optionally self-adapting the shooting rate to the actuator condition. For assessment of the idea, the entire system is mathematically modeled and then simulated in several cases. The comparative simulation results support that by the proposed method the chamber vibration can be reduced even to 6.5 percent at the expense of relatively small amount of actuator energy.

        무선랜 환경에서 AP간 전력임계치값을 통한 호 처리 연구

        스마트폰과 많은 무선단말기들이 이동성의 특성상 AP간 이동하게 되어 무선단말들과 AP(Access Point)간 많은 호 절체가 이루어지게 된다. AP에서 각 무선단말기마다 처리되는 호 처리는 상대적으로 많은 무선트랙픽을 유발 하여 무선대역의 효율적인 활용을 저해하는 요인이 되고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 무선단말기와 AP간의 트래픽 발 생요인이 되고 있는 AP간 호 절체 트래픽양을 줄이기 위해서 무선단말기에 수신되는 AP들의 전력세기임계치와 임계 타이머를 사용하여 AP에서 효과적으로 무선트랙픽을 활용할 수 있는 방안을 제안하였다. 제안된 방식과 기존의 방식 을 시뮬레이션을 통하여 AP에서 처리하는 무선트래픽 양이 개선되어 전체적으로 무선대역의 활용을 효율적으로 할 수 있었다. A smart phone and the number of wireless terminals are mobile-to the nature of the AP mobility are many call transfer between wireless terminals and AP (Access Point). Each wireless terminal that is the call processing process for each is relatively large to cause the wireless traffic, and a factor that inhibits the efficient use of the radio band on the AP. In this paper, we use the power intensity threshold and threshold timer of the AP received by the mobile station to reduce the amount of switching traffic between the AP's cause and traffic generation factors between the wireless device and the AP that can effectively utilize the radio traffic from the AP the measures proposed. The proposed method and the conventional method is improved by simulation to handle the amount of radio traffic from the AP it was confirmed that it is possible to effectively utilize the whole of the radio band.

        간헐 회전식 약실을 적응한 자동포 시스템의 디지털 제어

        Lately, there exist growing demands to increase the firepower of mid-calibre automatic guns despite spatial limitations of armament. In this context, ammunitions of simple cylindrical shape are considered so advantageous that associated automatic guns are under development incorporating an intermittently rotating chamber mechanism. In this paper, relevant subsystems for such guns are to be described, and a digital controller to automate the entire system as well. Via dynamic simulations it proves to function well being able to drive the chamber at any constant speed up to 200spm, which is merely limited by the recoil performance. It is remarkable that the system synchronization idea in use is applicable to any other multi-actuator systems that should operate on the basis of event rather than time.
