        Thoracic surgery may be greatly facilitated by causing selective atelectasis of the lung being operated on (one-lung ventilation anesthesia). But the tube used for one-lung ventilation is greater outer diameter than conventional endotracheal tube when compare to each other with same inner diameter, so in some young children it is impossible to one-lung ventilation using double lumen tube or bronchial blocker tube because of narrow vocal cord. We performed one lung ventilation anesthesia using conventional endotracheal tube and Fogarty catheter as a bronchial blocker in 11-year old women who received lung biopsy surgery and left lower lobectomy.

        The optimal medium composition for the production of carotenoid pigment from Haloarcular sp. EH-1 as a dietary for fishes were 1.0% sucrose, 1.0% yeast extract, 25% sodium chloride, 0.3% sodium citrate, 0.2% potassium chloride, 2.0% magnesium sulphate, 0.002% ferric sulphate(pH7.0). The incubation temperate, aeration rate and agitation speed were 40℃, 100ml medium/500ml vol. shaking flask, and 180 rpm/min. The carotenoid pigment production was highest after 5 days of incubation with the light.

        방사선조사에 따른 백서 악하선내 혈관 내피세표 미세구조의 조기변화

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the early irradiation changes on the ultrastructure of the capillary endothelial cell in the rat submandibular glands. For the study, 110 Sprague-Dawley strain male rats were singly irradiated to their neck regions with the doses of 2Gy, 5Gy, and 10Gy by 6MV X-irradiation, and sacrificed on the 3 hours, 6 hours, 12 hours, 1 day, 3 days, 7 days, and 14 days after irradiation. The authors observed the histologic and ultrastructural changes of the capillary endothelial cell using the light and electron microscopes. The results were as follows: 1.In the light microscopic examination, the capillary dilation was observed on the 6 hours group and the capillary density was slightly increased on the 12 hours group after 2Gy and 5Gy irradiation. And luminal size and capillary density were decreased on the 3 days and the 7 day groups after irradiation, after then, they were recovered. But capillary density was still decreased on the 14 days group after 10Gy irradiation. 2.In the transmission electron microscopic examination, the mild proliferation of cytoplasmic process of the endothelial cell and reduction in luminal size were observed on the 3 hours group after irradiation. After then, endothelial swelling, marked proliferation of cytoplasmic process, thickened basal lamina, and numerous pinocytotic vesicles were observed after the 1 day group after irradiation. Thickened basal lamina and numerous pinocytotic vesicles were still observed until the 7 days group after irradiation. These changes were recovered to normal on the 14 days group after 2Gy and 5Gy irradiation, but not after 10Gy irradiation. 3.In the scanning electron microscopic examination, the dilation of conduits and constriction, and meandering were observed on the 1 day group after 10Gy irradiation. These changes were observed with increased coarseness of the surface of the vascular resin casting on the 3 days group after irradiation. 4.From the above results, endothelial swelling, proliferation of cytoplasmic process, and thickening of the basal lamina appeared before the 6 hours group after irradiation. And these changes may also induce the increase of the capillary number and luminal size, after then, capillary permeability was increased via the increase of the number of pinocytotic vesicles. The changes were observed earlier and more apparent with the increase of the irradiation doses under the dose of 10Gy irradiation.

      • 영도구 자원봉사활동 활성화 방안 연구

        The importance of volunteering service activity has greatly come to the front as a value to comprehensive politics, economy, society and culture and supplement. On 'the year of world volunteers', the organized 'Korea Commission' is in active service, and ahead of the 2002 Korean and Japanese World Cup, many efforts are being made for enacting 'the Support Law of Volunteering Service Activity' while the boom of volunteering activity is formed. The purpose of this study was to improve the volunteer activities in Yeongdo-Gu, Busan. The surveys were conducted by nongovernment organizations, religious organizations, elementary schools, middle schools, high schools, universities and individual volunteers. The statistical analysis was used descriptive statistics by using SAS 10.2 program. The results of these surveys are summarized as follows: First,a membership of Yeongdo-Gu Volunteering Service Center established in 1997 is 1,277(man 634, woman 643) and its roles are to network with welfare facilities, to enhance the participating rate of citizens, and to educate volunteers and so forth. Second, as a result of individual volunteers survey, the subject of analysis were a total 64 cases of 45(70.3%) male and 19(29.7) female, their occupations are students 32(50.8%), housekeeper 13(20.6%). Third, Volunteers were participating in various fields of volunteer including social welfare, environment, transportation, health, culture and art. Thus operation plans to activate Yeongdo-Gu Volunteer activities are proposed as follows. First, it is necessary for assurance of volunteering resource in community and volunteering network construction for efficiency management. Second, it is also necessary for assurance of training program for volunteer.

        저자들은 폐결핵 추정하에 치료를 받았던 Sarcoidosis 환자 1례를 경험했기에 문헌적 고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다. Sarcoidosis is a granulomatous disease of unknown etiology In which pulmonary manifestations typically predominate with protean extrapulmonary and systemic manifestations. In sarcoidosis, pulmonary symptoms include dyspnea on exertion, non-productive cough and wheezing. Typical radiologic finding is a diffuse infiltration with or without bilateral symmetric hilar lymphadenopathy. Sarcoidosis should be differentiated with pulmonary tuberculosis because of its clincal and radiological slmilarity in Korea, an endemic area of pulmonary tuberculosis. We report a case of sarcoidosis patient whose symptoms were not improved by treatment with anti-tuberculous medication, but by steroid therapy following the diagnosis of sarcoidosis made by biopsy.

      • 능동 클램프 ZVS 플라이백 컨버터의 역률개선에 관한 연구

        본 논문에서는 single-stage, two-stage 두가지 역률보상(PFC)기법을 기존의 능동 클램프 플라이백 컨버터에 적용하여 역률 개선을 하였다. 삽입된 플라이백 컨버터의 능동클램프회로가 주스위치와 보조스위치의 영전압스위칭(ZVS)을 구현하며, 스위칭 손실을 줄임으로써 고효율을 얻을 수 있고, 높은 주파수에서의 스위칭이 가능하다. 하지만 일반적으로 사용되는 다이오드정류기, 평활용커패시터에 의한 낮은 역률의 문제점이 남아있다. 본 논문에서는 300W급 능동 클램프ZVS플라이백 컨버터를 설계하여 single-stage, two-stage방식을 적용, 입력역률개선을 시뮬레이션과 실험에 의해 입증하고자 한다. This paper analyzed PFC of active clamp ZVS flyback converter by adding two method PFC (Power Factor Correction) circuit - two-stage and single-stage. The addition of active clamp circuit also provide a mechanism for achieving ZVS of both the primary and auxiliary switches. ZVS also limits the turn off di/dt of the output rectifier, reducing rectifier switching loss and switching noise, due to diode reverse recovery. As a results, the proposed converters have characteristics of the reduced switching noise and high efficiency in comparison to conventional flyback converter. The simulation and experimental results show that the proposed converters improve the input PF of 300W ZVS flyback converter by adding single-stage, two-stage PFC circuit.

      • 우발성으로 투여된 척수강내 고용량 모르핀에 의한 호흡정지 : 증례보고

        Epidural or intrathecal morphine injection is a useful method for management of postoperative pain and cancer pain. But the effect of intrathecal morphine is ten to twenty times more potent than epidural morphine. So inadvertent intrathecal injection of morphine during epidural injection can induce serious side effect. The authors report a patient who experienced respiratory arrest and loss of consciousness due to inadvertent intrathecal injection of high dose morphine during epidural injection for management of cancer pain. The patient was treated with intravenous bolus and infusion of naloxone for 8 hours and assisted ventilation with Ambu and she was recovered completely without any sequela.

      • E-M을 이용한 개선된 혼합영상의 분리

        이 논문에서는, 기존의 독립성분해석기법 이노베이션을 이용한 혼합영상분리의 기법을 EM알고리즘을 첨가하여 새롭게 향상된 혼합영상분리 방법을 제안한다. 독립성분해석기법은 통계적으로 독립된 랜덤변수들의 선형조합으로 측정대상 랜덤신호를 표기하는 여러 통계신호처리 기법 중의 하나로, 정보의 분리, 특징 추출 등의 응용분야에 적용되고 있다. 기술적으로는, 독립성분기법은 주성분 분리기법의 확장이라 볼 수 있고, 근래에 혼합정보의 분리에 관련하여 많이 연구되고 있다. 현재까지의 연구 결과로는 혼합영상의 분리에 있어 독립성분해석기법만으로는 혼합영상분리의 해를 얻지 못하고 있다. 이러한 독립성분해석기법의 약점을 보완하는 방법으로, 최근에 이노베이션 프로세서를 전처리로 하는 독립성분해석기법을 혼합한 시스템을 이용한 혼합영상 분리가 시도되었다. 이노베이션 프로세서를 전처리로 첨가한 혼합영상분리의 과정도 독립성분해석기법만을 사용한 경우 보다는 향상된 혼합영상분리를 하지만, 분류된 영상들이 원래의 혼합 전의 영상과 많이 다른 결과를 내고 있다. 기존의 방법들인 독립성분해석기법이나 이노베이션이 전처리로 적용된 경우에도 혼합이전의 영상간의 상관관계가 클 경우, 혼합영상의 분류가 잘 이루어지지 않는다. 본 논문에서는 이 약점을 보완하기 위하여, EM이론을 기존의 시스템에 전처리로 첨가하여 혼합 영상의 분리를 향상시키고자 하였다. 실험 결과에서는 최근에 연구된 이노베이션의 방법보다 EM을 적용시킨 경우가 향상된 혼합영상의 분리의 결과를 보여 주고 있다. In this paper, a new method for the improvement of mixed image separation scheme is presented adding the expectation-maximization algorithm to the scheme consists of the independent component analysis and the innovation process. In general, the independent component analysis (ICA) is one of the widely used statistical signal processing schemes, which represents the information from observations as a set of random variables in the form of linear combinations of another statistically independent component variables. In various useful applications, ICA provides a more meaningful representation of the data than the principal component analysis through the transformation of the data to be quasi-orthogonal to each other, which can be utilized in linear projection. However, it has been known that ICA does not establish good performance in source separation by itself. Thus, in order to overcome this limitation, there have been many techniques that are designed to reinforce the good properties of ICA. The innovation process is one of the methods that were employed in image separation using ICA, which improves the mixed image separation. Unfortunately, the innovation process still needs to be studied since it yields inconsistent result due to the randomness of images mixing weights. In order to improve the performance of the conventional method, the expectation and maximization process is added to the system. The results presented in this paper show that the proposed improves the image separation as presented in experiments.

      • CFCM 기반 적응 뉴로-퍼지 시스템에 의한 비선형 시스템 모델링

        본 논문에서는 여러 분야에서 널리 응용되고 있는 적응 뉴로-퍼지 시스템에서의 효과적인 퍼지 규칙 생성 방법을 제안한다. 기존의 입력공간 그리드 분할을 이용한 ANFIS의 규칙 생성에 있어서는 얻어진 규칙의 수가 지수적으로 증가하는 단점이 있다. 이에, 본 연구에서는 조건부적인 퍼지 클러스터링(CFCM)을 이용하여 입·출력 데이터의 특성을 잘 반영할 수 있는 클러스터를 구하고, 퍼지 균등화 방법을 적용하여 출력변수의 소속함수를 자동 생성하도록 하였다. 이렇게 함으로써 적은 규칙 수를 갖으면서도 효율적인 퍼지 규칙을 얻을 수 있도록 하였다. 이들 방법의 유용함을 보이고자 정수장 응집제주입결정 모델링에 적용하여 제안된 방법이 기존의 연구보다 좋은 결과를 보임을 알 수 있었다. In this paper, an efficient fuzzy rule generation scheme for Adaptive Network-based Fuzzy Inference System(ANFIS) using the conditional fuzzy c-means(CFCM) and fuzzy equalization(FE) methods is proposed. Usually, the number of fuzzy rules exponentially increases by applying the grid partitioning of the input space, in conventional ANFIS approaches. Therefore, GFCM clustering method is adopted to render the clusters which represent the given input and output fuzzy data and FE method is used to automatically construct the fuzzy membership functions. From this, one can systematically obtain a small size of fuzzy rules which shows satisfying performance for the given problems. Finally, we applied the proposed method to the nonlinear system modeling problems and obtained a better performance than conventional works.

      • 三斜晶系와 單斜晶系의 空間群에 對한 論解

        三斜晶系에는 2個의 空間群이 있고 單斜晶系에는 13個의 空間群이 있다. 本 論解에서는 이 空間群들을 誘導한후 各 空間群에 屬한 一般位置, 原點移動, 特殊座標 및 反射條件들을 說明 하였다. There are two and thirteen space groups in triclinic and monoclinic systems respectively. After derivation of the space groups, the general coordinates, the special coordinates and the reflection conditions of each space group have been discussed and change of origin of certain space groups is also shown.
