Overall objectives of 'Life for Wisdom' are to help pupils have an interest in the interaction between oneself, and society around them and nature through concrete activities and personal experiences, think about oneself and one's own life. The purpose of this paper is to find a reform measure of the management of 'Life for Wisdom' in 7th National Curriculum, and the method of it is to inquiry the management through questionnaire. As findings on inquiry, Consideration should be given to the following items: 1. To intensify the principal of integrations and to raise the standard of integrations 2. To raise the quality of activity in the contents of a textbook. 3. To expand experiences and to select the optimal material in the lessons. 4. To value much of the process in the evaluations.

The Location-Informing service is based on the GPS data from the satellite. Until now, the service has been free. However, it may become charged. Therefore, we research the methods that can find the location-information using the antennas in future mobile communication systems and investigate the signal arrival direction estimation methods with considering practical environments.

The use of the Internet is much increased and the multimedia data such as voice and image should be processed in the Internet. The required characteristics of the communication networks for the 21-st century Internet are the fusion between communications and broadcasting, high speed, large capacity, high intelligence, and personalization. In realizing the characteristics mentioned above, the ATM is the only technique that can practically guarantee QoS and is the core technique in super high-speed service networks. In this paper, we will investigate the international study of the high-speed the satellite communication and then research plans for developing and providing optimum application services.

본 연구는 철강석의 정제후 부수적으로 발생하는 고로슬래그 미분말을 건설분야에 이용하여 고강도콘크리트를 제조하고 이에 대한 여러 가지의 역학적 특성을 알아보고자 하는 것이다. 실험의 주요인자로서 물/시멘트비, 굵은골재의 최대치수 및 시멘트의 종류로서 슬래그시멘트와 보통시멘트를 비교하였으며 제조된 콘크리트의 경화전 특성 실험으로는 슬럼프, 공기량, 응결시간을 측정하고 경화후 압축강도, 할렬인장강도, 휨강도 및 동결-융해 저항특성 실험을 수행하였다. 실험결과 슬래그시멘트와 19mm골재를 사용하고 물/시멘트비가 낮은 경우 높은 강도 발현은 물론 500cycle 이후에서도 상대동탄성계수가 90%이상을 나타내어 동결-융해에 대한 저항성이 매우 우수함을 나타내었다. 또한 슬럼프 경시변화에서도 보통시멘트를 사용한 콘크리트에 비해 슬럼프 손실률이 상당히 적어 유동성을 확보한 고강도 콘크리트의 생산이 가능함으로써 건설분야에 활용될 수 있을 것이다. The purpose of this study is to make high strength concrete using blast furnace slag and is to know the mechanical properties about it. Major variables of experiment are the water/cement ratio, coarse aggregate maximum size, portland and slag as cement type. After measuring of slump, air content and setting time about fresh concrete, compressive, tensile and flexible strength test and freezing-thawing resistance test also were carried out about hardend concrete. The results of test showed a good resistance to become higher than 90% of a relative modulus of elasticity after 506cycles and more strength in case of lower water/cement ratio and coarse aggregate of 19mm with slag cement. Also, concrete using blast furnace slag will make practical application of construction field to be high strength concrete, a small slump loss.

An Ac-type Plasma Display Panel (PDP) operating with Ne-Ar(0.1%) Penning mixture gas is fabicated. The characterics of the panel with electrodes covered with thin and thick dielectric layers are studied. The brightness of the Neon-orange light emitted by the panel measured as function of applied voltage and frequency. As an application, a graphic display system equipped with PDP showing still and moving pictures is made.
Metabolomic changes in grains of well‐watered and drought‐stressed transgenic rice

<P>BACKGROUND: Drought induces a number of physiological and biochemical responses in cereals. This study was designed to examine the metabolite changes in grains of drought-tolerant transgenic rice (Oryza sativa L.) that overexpresses AtCYP78A7 encoding cytochrome P450 protein using proton nuclear magnetic resonance (H-1-NMR) and gas chromatography/mass spectrometry. RESULTS: Principal component analysis showed that the H-1-NMR-based profile was clearly separated by soil water status of well-watered andwater-deficit. A discrimination of metabolites between transgenic and non-transgenic grains appeared under both watering regimes. Variations in the levels of amino acids and sugars led to the discrimination of metabolites among genotypes. In particular, drought significantly enhanced the levels of gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA, 244.6%), fructose (155.7%), glucose (211.0%), glycerol (57.2%), glycine (65.8%) and aminoethanol (192.4%) in the transgenic grains compared with the non-transgenic control grains. CONCLUSION: These changes in amounts of metabolites may assist in improving drought tolerance in transgenic rice by playing crucial roles in stress-responsive pathways including GABA biosynthesis, sucrose metabolism and antioxidant defenses.
