      • 일차배양 간세포를 이용한 Nitric Oxide(NO)의 항산화 활성 및 약물대사 효소에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of the present study was to determine the antioxidative activity and effects on drug metabolism of nitric oxide. In experiments, the incubation of isolated rat hepatocytes with lipopolysaccharide(LPS) resulted in the slight inhibition of lipid peroxidation but superoxide productivity not affected. Also LPS increased intracellular glutathione and glutathione S-transferase activity. In contrast, N??-monomethyl-L-Arginine (L-NMA), an inhibitor of both the constitutive and inducible nitrix oxide synthases, decreased in lactate dehydrogenase. And, LPS inhibited increasse of ethoxycoumarin O-deethylase activity by phenobarbital, but other monooxygenase activity not affect. Treatment of L-NMA to phenobarbital -pretrteated rat hepatocytes results in slight increase of cytochrome P-450 I Al specific enzyme ethoxyresorufin O-deethylase activity.

      • 國民學校 兒童의 姿勢計測에 對한 硏究

        국민학교 어린이들의 자세의 諸特性을 分析하여 學校現場에서의 자세교육의 지도자료를 구하는데 연구 목적이 있다. 서울, 경기지방의 남녀 어린이 240명에 대하여 척주 만곡도, 下肢의 상태 등을 계측하여 分析檢討한 結果를 다음과 같이 要約할 수 있다. (1) 연구대상자의 신체 형태의 특징은 細長型인데, 약 28%의 어린이는 전에 병을 앓은 경험이 있고, 50∼60%의 영양 불량아가 있다. (2) 자세에 미치는 환경 요인은 不實한 傾向이 있지만 자세 지도나 자세에 대한 관심도는 비교적 높다. (3) 立位자세의 표준 前傾度는 남자 4˚∼+5˚, 여자 -3˚∼+3˚이다. (4) 흉추부의 표준 만곡도는 남자 3˚∼12˚, 여자 4˚∼12˚이다. (5) 표준 상배 후만각은 남자 155˚∼168˚, 여자 152˚∼166˚이고, 표준 요부전막각은 남녀 모두 152˚∼168˚이다. (6) o脚은 전체 어린이의 7%이고 x脚은 3%를 차지하고 있다. The purpose of this study was to obtain the materials on the posture education at school. The subjects chosen for this study were 240 children from the first to the sixth grades at the elementary schools located in Seoul and Kyong-Gi Province. The children were interviewed each to examine the posture structure, were measured the degrees of vertebrae curvatures and the structure of the lower limbs by the Cureton's conformatuer to find the characteristics of the posture. The results were: (1) The children were near to the type of ectomorph posture. About 28% of the children had previously suffered the serious diseases. The children of unbalanced diet were from 50% to 60% of the total number. (2) 45% of the children used the desks and chairs when they study, and 70% of them had their desks and chairs unfit to their body structures. (3) Under these unfavorable circumstances, the children showed, however, the higher enthusiasm for the posture education which is encouraging. (4) The average Angle ∠α of forward curvature in standing position was about -4˚∼+5˚ among boys and -3˚∼43˚ among girls. (5) The average angle ∠a' of verabrae curvature of the thoracic was 3˚∼12˚ among sboy and 4˚∼12˚ among girls. (6) The male with Kyphosis (hunch back) was about 155˚∼168˚, the female was 152˚∼166˚. The male and female with lordossis of lumber curvature was 152˚∼168˚. (7) The children of bowlegs (O type) and those of knock knees (x type) were 3% of the whole.

        색상 측정 기기를 이용한 복합레진 적층 수복과 단일 수복의 색상 비교 분석

        Objectives: This study analyzed the difference in color caused by different thickness in enamel layer of composite resins when applied with single and layering placement technique, and evaluated if the results agreed with the shade guide from the manufacturers to verify reliability of the color matching process of the manufacturers. Materials and Methods: For single composite resin samples, 6 mm diameter and 4 mm thickness cylindrical samples were fabricated using Ceram-X mono (DENTSPLY DeTrey) and CIE L*a*b* values were measured with spectrophotometer. Same process was done for layering compositie resin samples, making 3 dentinal shade samples, 4 mm thickness, for each shade using Ceram-X duo (DENTSPLY DeTrey) and enamel shade resins were layered in 2 mm thickness and CIE L*a*b* values were measured. These samples were ground to 0.2 mm thickness each time, and CIE L*a*b* values were measured to 1 mm thickness of enamel shade resin. Results: Color difference (△E*) between single and layering composite resin was 1.37 minimum and 10.53 maximum when layering thicknesses were between 1 mm and 2 mm and 6 out of 10 same shade groups suggested by manufacturer showed remarkable color difference at anythickness (△E* > 3.3). Conclusion: When using Ceram-X mono and duo for composite resin restoration, following the manufacturer's instructions for chossing the shade is not appropriate, and more accurate information for Ceram-X duo is needed on the variation and expression of the shades depending on the thickness of the enamel.       • 열상 처치 마우스에서 백혈구 분포의 변화

        It has been well documented that global suppression of the immune responses occurs after thermal injury and these changes resulted in decreased resistance to infection, which is a leading cause of high mortality of burn patients. Regarding to numerical changes of lymphocytes related to this immune defects, a lot of controversial results have been reported. In this study, the distribution of leukocytes was investigated in thermally injured mice. Mice (Balb/c) were anesthetized by intraperitoneal injection of 2,2,2-tribromoethanol and thermally injured by immersion of hair-removed dorsal skin (15% total body surface) in a boiling water bath (ca. 96℃). Mortality of mice injured for 7, 9 and 11 seconds was <5%, 25 and 100%, respectively. Almost all of mice injured for 7 seconds recovered from wounds after 40 days postinjury, which were used for all experiments. Significant decrease of peripheral blood leukocyte (PBL), lymph node cell (I,NC) and spleen cell (SPC), thymocyte(Thy) numbers was observed at day 2 and followed by gradual increase to (PBL) or over normal level (LNC and SPC) until day 24 of injury, whereas thymocytes sustained lowered numbers. Such increase of cell number coincided with higher proportion of PMN, particularly in spleen (5% vs 30%). Reduction of lymphocyte proportion was due to relative increase of PMN number, not the decrease of absolute number of lymphocytes. This increasing number of PMN may explain the diminished immune response, assessed with whole spleen cells in a murine model. These results also suggest that trafficking of PMN may be important for the recovery from thermal trauma. In addition, the Th/Ts ratio of injured mice was comparable to that of control group, which is not likely to be a critical factor leading to alteration of immunity in thermal injury.

      • 마우스 B 림프구에서 비특이적 자극에 의한 CD30 발현의 유도

        CD30 was originally identified on Hodgkin and Reed-Sternberg (H-RS) cells and subsequently defined as an activation antigen. CD30 expression is observed on activated, but not on resting, T and B lymphocytes. Despite of numericcal studies, the functions of CD30 in physiological condition remains open question. Moreover, CD30 expression of normal B lymphocytes has been poorly documented. In this study, CD30 expression of murine B lymphocytes and its regulation was analyzed. B cell-enriched (90%) spleen (SP-B) cells obtained by nylon-wool adherence were used for activation with LPS or plate-bound anti-mouse IgM. LPS stimulation induced minimal expression of CD30 and addition of cytokines (IL 2 or IL 4) resulted in higher number of activated cells, but not higher expression of CD30. Substantial CD30 expression of SP-B cells was induced by stimulation with plate-bound anti-mouse IgM in a dose dependent manner. IL 4 upregulated proliferation of and CD30 expression on activated SP-B cells. IL 2 enhancd B cell proliferation but not CD30 expression and also did not show any additional effect on IL 4-mediated upregulation of CD30 expression. These data suggest that the signaling pathway for B cell proliferation is different from that for induction of CD30 expression and T and B cells may show distinct response to cytokines in CD30 expression.

        In addition to accurate position and velocity control, force control is necessary for a successful robot operation. In this paper, we have designed a simple robot gripper using a DC motor. For its force control, a current feedback control law is presented without using additional force sensors. Experimental results prove the effectiveness of the proposed control law. A digital controller is also developed with a TMS320LF2406 processor.

This paper is about the design and simulating of a large viewing LED pannel control ASIC(Application Specific Integrated Circuit). This LED pannel control ASIC runs on 16bit micropricessor MC68EC000 and has following functions : 16 line interlaced LED pannel contriller, memory controller, 16 channel priority interrupt cotroller, 2 channel direct memory access controller, 2 channel 12 bit clcok and timer, 2channel infrared remocon receiver, 2 channel RS-23C with 16 byte FIFO, IBMPC/AT compatible keyboard interface, battery battery backuped real time clock and timer,2controller, battery backuped 256 byte SRAM and watch dog timer. The 0.6 micronCMOS Sea of Gate is used to desing the ASIC in amiunt of about 39,000 gates,and it is simulated at 48MHz
