Two stable high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) methods were developed that could quantitatively analyze 10 major marker compounds of Artemisia capillaris Thunb and could also distinguish among `Injinho` and `Myeon-injin` and `Haninjin`--A. capillaris collected in autumn, A. capillaris collected in spring and A. iwayomogi, which can be misused as `Injinho` in Korean herbal drug markets. The first HPLC method was a reversed-phase chromatography using a C18 column with an isocratic solvent system of phosphoric acid (0.05%) and acetonitrile at the flow rate of 1.0 mL/min, ultraviolet (UV) detection wavelength at 254 nm and column temperature at 40°C. Calibration andquantitation were made by using acetaminophen as an internal standard (I.S-A) and chlorogenic acid (1) was determined within 20 min. The second HPLC method was a reversed-phase chromatography using a C18 column with a gradient solvent system of phosphate buffer (0.015 M, pH 6) and acetonitrile at the flow rate of 1.0 mL/min, UV detection wavelength at 254 nm and column temperature at 40°C. Calibration and quantitation were made by using ethylparaben as an internal standard (I.S-B) and 3,5-di-O-caffeoylquinic acid (2), 3,4-di-O-caffeoylquinic acid (3), 4,5-di-O-caffeoylquinic acid (4), hyperoside (5), isoquercitrin (6), isorhamnetin 3-O-robinobioside (7), isorhamnetin-3-O-galactoside (8), isorhamnetin-3-O-glucoside (9) and scoparone (10) were determined within 60 min. Pattern recognitionanalysis of data from the 60 samples classified them clearly into three groups. These assay methods could be applied for QA/QC of A. capillaris and Artemisia iwayomogi.

This study examines the information searching of business travelers and their behavior based on the cultural differences. Despite growing academic interest in business travel i n recent years, there has been little investigation of the information search behaviors of business travelers in a cross-culture context. The above themes are rational assumed that information search behaviour are necessary to understand. To address the identified gap s in the literature, the proposed relationships are examined and presented through using chi-square method with a survey sample. The research sample included Japanese, English and Chinese business travellers. A self-administrated questionnaire was distributed to 211 business travelers attending international conventions in Taipei. The research findings reveal that information preferences of business travelers are significantly differed from the three recognized groups in the case of Taiwan. Some significant differences in information search behaviors were recognized amongst the three recognized respondent groups. Marketing implications were also proposed and presented.

Background: Optimal delivery of enteral nutrition (EN) may improve clinical outcomes of critically ill patients and enteral feeding protocols help to improve EN practice. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the impact of implementation of enteral feeding protocol on the improvement in EN practice and on the clinical outcomes of adult critically ill patients. Methods: This was a retrospective cohort study with prospectively collected data. Multidisciplinary working group, including dietitian, nurse, and intensivist, developed the evidence-based protocol by extensive literatures and guideline review. We included the consecutive patients admitted to the medical and surgical ICU and received EN more than 24 hours. The EN practices and clinical outcomes were compared between before and after implementation of enteral feeding protocol. Results: A total of 270 patients were included in this study; 134 patients before implementation, 136 after implementation. Basic clinical characteristics were not different between two phases. Enteral feeding was initiated earlier (35.8 vs 87.1 hours, p=0.001) and more patients received EN within 24 hours (59.6% vs 41.0%, p=0.002) after implementation of protocol. Interval between starting and reaching caloric goal was not different, however more patients reached caloric goal after implementation (52.2% vs 38.3%, p=0.037). Post-implementation group used more prokinetics (53.7% vs 34.3%. p=0.001) and less parenteral nutrition. Diarrhea and gastrointestinal bleeding were significantly decreased after implementation. There was no difference in clinical outcomes including ICU death, ICU free day, and hospital day. Conclusion: The implementation of enteral feeding protocol significantly improved the practices of EN and decrease complications in critically ill patients. The clinical outcomes were not different before and after implementation.

<B>OBJECTIVE</B><P>As life expectancy continues to increase, primary degenerative sagittal imbalance (PDSI) is diagnosed in an increasing number of elderly people. Although corrective surgery for this sagittal deformity is becoming more popular, the effectiveness of the procedure remains unclear. The authors aimed to collate the available evidence on the effectiveness and complications of deformity-correction surgery in patients with PDSI.</P><B>METHODS</B><P>The authors carried out a meta-analysis of clinical studies regarding deformity correction in patients with PDSI. The studies were identified through searches of the PubMed, Embase, Web of Science, and Cochrane databases. Surgery outcomes were evaluated and overall treatment effectiveness was assessed in terms of the minimum clinically important difference (MCID) in Oswestry Disability Index (ODI) values and pain levels according to visual analog scale (VAS) scores and in terms of restoration of spinopelvic parameters to within a normal range. Data are expressed as mean differences with 95% CIs.</P><B>RESULTS</B><P>Ten studies comprising 327 patients were included. The VAS and ODI values improved after deformity-correction surgery. The smallest treatment effect exceeded the MCID for VAS values (4.15 [95% CI 3.48-4.82]) but not for ODI values (18.11 [95% CI 10.99-25.23]). At the final follow-up visit, the mean lumbar lordosis angle (−38.60° [95% CI −44.19° to −33.01°]), thoracic kyphosis angle (31.10° [95% CI 24.67°-37.53°]), C-7 sagittal vertical axis (65.00 mm [95% CI 35.27-94.72 mm]), and pelvic tilt angle (30.82° [95% CI 24.41°-37.23°]) remained outside their normal ranges. Meta-regression analyses revealed a significant effect of ODI change in relation to lumbar lordosis change (p = 0.004). After a mean of 2 years after deformity correction, the mean lumbar lordosis angle and C-7 sagittal vertical axis decreased by 5.82° and 38.91 mm, respectively, and the mean thoracic kyphosis angle increased by 4.7°. The incidences of proximal junctional kyphosis and pseudarthrosis were 23.7% and 12.8%, respectively.</P><B>CONCLUSIONS</B><P>Deformity correction substantially relieves back pain for about 2 years in adult patients with PDSI. Sufficient surgical restoration of lumbar lordosis can lead to substantial improvement in patient disability and reduced decompensation. Deformity correction represents a viable therapeutic option for patients with PDSI, but further technical advancements are necessary to achieve sufficient lumbar lordosis and reduce complication rates.</P>

최근, 실내 위치 기반 서비스를 보다 정확하게 제공하기 위해서 Wi-Fi 핑거프린트와 딥러닝을 이용한 기술이 연구되고 있다. 딥러닝 모델 중에서 과거의 정보를 기억할 수 있는 RNN 모델은 실내측위에서 연속된 움직임을 기억할 수 있어 측위 오차를 줄일 수 있다. 실내 측위에서 RNN 모델을 사용하는 경우 수집된 학습 데이터가 연속적인 순차 데이터이어야 한다. 그러나 특정 위치 정보를 판단하기 위해 수집된 Wi-Fi 핑거프린트 데이터는 특정 위치에 대한 RSSI만 기록되었기 때문에 RNN 모델의 학습데이터로 사용이 불가능하다. 본 논문은 Wi-Fi 핑거프린트 데이터를 기반으로 RNN 모델의 순차적인 입력 데이터의 생성을 위한 영역 클러스터링 방법에 대해 제안한다. Recently, in order to more accurately provide indoor location-based services, technologies using Wi-Fi fingerprints and deep learning are being studied. Among the deep learning models, an RNN model that can store information from the past can store continuous movements in indoor positioning, thereby reducing positioning errors. When using an RNN model for indoor positioning, the collected training data must be continuous sequential data. However, the Wi-Fi fingerprint data collected to determine specific location information cannot be used as training data for an RNN model because only RSSI for a specific location is recorded. This paper proposes a region clustering technique for sequential input data generation of RNN models based on Wi-Fi fingerprint data.

Carbon-doped silicon-oxide films with a low dielectric constant were deposited on p-type Si(100) substrates by using ultraviolet source-assisted plasma-enhanced chemical-vapor deposition with a methyltrimethoxysilane (MTMS:CH3Si(OCH3)3) precursor and oxygen gases. The deposition rate of the SiOC(-H) film with ultraviolet irradiation was 10 to 15 % higher than it was without ultraviolet irradiation. The lowest dielectric constant observed was 2.3 ± 0.11 for a flow rate ratio of 100 % with ultraviolet irradiation. When the bulk plasma is illuminated with ultraviolet light, the carbon ions and other radicals are increased, and some of the Si-O-C open-linked bonds change into cage-linked bonds in which C atoms are incorporated in the Si-O-C bonding structure. The UV illumination of the bulk plasma with the precursor + O2 + He mixture caused a dissociation of ions that are more reactive and an increase in the number of radicals, such as Si, -CH3 , CH+ n , O2 , O.2 , etc. The large increase in the number of radicals is due to inelastic scattering of electrons with excited precursors.?
