        Double hysteresis loops induced by Mn doping in Pb0.99Nb0.02(Zr0.95Ti0.05)0.98O3 ferroelectric ceramics

        Pb0.99Nb0.02(Zr0.95Ti0.05)0.98O3 (PNZT95/5) ceramics with 1 mol% and without Mn doping were prepared via conventional solid state reaction process. X-ray diffraction patterns show that the PNZT95/5 and Mn-doped PNZT95/5 (PNZTM95/5) ceramics, with composition near the boundary of the ferroelectric phase (FE)/antiferroelectric phase (AFE), have a rhombohedral perovskite structure. The ferroelectric behavior of PNZT95/5 ceramics is strongly affected by Mn doping. Without any aging process the PNZTM95/5 ceramics possess double hysteresis loops (P–E loops), whereas the PNZT95/5 ceramics possess normal single hysteresis loops. Due to the defect dipoles formed by effectively negatively charged Mn3+ dopants and positively charged O2- vacancies, the PNZTM95/5 ceramics exhibit the double P–E loops. The defect dipole effect has been proved by investigating the P–E loops under different external fields. As a result, the PNZTM95/5 ceramics become ‘‘hardened”, exhibiting a high mechanical quality factor (1300).

        情态助动词“难”的语法化研究

        The valuable modal auxiliary verb of Chinese Tough-Construction, “S+Nan+V”, is originated from the Yidong of adjective “Nan” in the Pre-Qin Period. Primitively, the adjective “Nan” represented Yidong along with verb object to form structure “A+V” which may be considered unsteady serial verb construction. Under the circumstances, the semantic feature of “Nan” means “considering difficult” which expresses that someone thinks it’s difficult to do something. When the subject ahead of “Nan” extended from agent to experiencer or vacancy, “Nan+V” bear the possibility of Reanalysis which stands for either “someone thinks it’s difficult to do something” or “something is hard to do” or “it’s hard to do something with someone”, and then “Nan” initiated the evolution toward modal auxiliary verb. When subject further extended to patient, the features of structure “Nan+V” are in line with the ones of modern Chinese Tough-Construction, and then the semantic features of “Nan” stands for “it takes great efforts to do something”. Furthermore, “Nan+V” converted the Yidong of adjective into the phrase of modal auxiliary verb, and “someone thinks it’s difficult to do something” semantically evolved to “something is hard to do”. After the grammaticalization has been completed, various types of atypical structures have also been generated on the basis of typical structure. The phrase structures of modal auxiliary verb have been evolved and inherited until now. 汉语难易结构“S+难+V”中的估价类情态助动词“难”产生于先秦时期,来源于形容词“难”的意动用法。最初,形容词“难”表意动带上动词性宾语时,构成“A+V”结构,可看作不稳定的连动结构,此时“难”的语义特征为[+感到困难],表示“某人认为做某事困难”。当“难”前面主语S由施事扩展到当事或空缺时,“难+V”具有重新分析的可能性,既可以分析为“(某人)认为某事难做”,也可以分析为“(某事)不容易做”或“不容易与某人做某事”。“难”开始向情态助动词演变。当主语S进一步扩展到受事时,“难+V”的结构特点与现代汉语难易结构一致,“难”的语义特征为[+费力],“难+V”由形容词表意动语法化为情态助动词短语,语义上由“感到做某事困难”演变为“某事做起来困难”。“难”的语法化过程完成后,在典型结构“S受事+AV难+V”的基础上产生了不同形式的非典型结构。这些情态助动词短语结构经过后世的发展一直沿用至今。

        Adaptive Containment Control for a Class of Uncertain Multi-agent Systems With Unknown Virtual Control Gain Functions

        In this paper, we consider a containment control problem for a class of uncertain multi-agent systems (MASs). The systems contain unknown parameters and virtual control gain functions. By introducing lower bounds of virtual control gain functions into the Lyapunov functions, a novel controller design scheme is proposed based on an adaptive control design approach and bound estimation method. The designed controller is simpler in comparison with other controllers. The simulation results show that three followers converge into the convex hull rapidly following the sinusoidal leaders, and the effectiveness of the designed controller is verified.

      • Circulating Current Reduction of Parallel Connected Four-Pole Inverters

        Connecting the four-pole inverters (FPIs) in parallel has many benefits, like lower cost, high flexibility and excellent reliability, and becomes a favorite option in industry. However, such side effects of parallel connection as the circulating current will lead to severe distortion and extra loss. The circulating current is mainly caused by the difference of common mode voltage (CMV) and closely associated with switching states. The zero states contain extremes of CMV levels, which aims to significantly affect the circulating current. This paper presents a three-dimensional pulse width modulation (3-D PWM) approach adapted to the parallel connected FPIs. The 3-D modulation scheme substituting the zero states with active states is socalled three-dimensional active zero state PWM (3-D AZSPWM) and based classical 3-D space vector PWM (3-D SVPWM), possessing low current distortion and high dc-link utilization characteristic. By synthesizing output references without zero states, both CMV levels and circulating current can be suppressed in effect. Based on a two-module parallel connected system, the simplified model is made to discuss the phenomenon of circulating current. Besides, the simulation and test results are presented to validate the performance of 3-D PWM in balanced and unbalanced condition respectively.

        Current Status of Etiology, Epidemiology, Clinical Manifestations and Imagings for COVID-19

        Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a transmissible respiratory disease that was initially reported in Wuhan, China in December 2019. With the alarming levels of COVID-19 spread worldwide, the World Health Organization characterized COVID-19 as a pandemic. Over the past several months, chest CT has played a vital role in early identification, disease severity assessment, and dynamic disease course monitoring of COVID-19. The published data has enriched our knowledge on the etiology, epidemiology, clinical manifestations, and pathologic findings of COVID-19. Additionally, as the imaging spectrum of the disease continues to be defined, extrapulmonary infections or other complications will require further attention. This review aims to provide an updated framework and essential knowledge with which radiologists can better understand COVID-19.

      • An Improved Frequency and Voltage Restoration Method of the Droop Controls for Power Converters

        This paper investigates the conventional droop control and the recently-developed droop control, like virtual synchronous machine (VSM) based control and Q−V control. The VSM based control can effectively smooth frequency dynamics by emulating the damping and the inertia of the synchronous machine, and Q−V droop control can enhance the more ideal results in the reactive power sharing among converters. Both controls bring their frequency and V to the initial values depending on the restoration mechanism. Such a mechanism is achieved by deviating their power reference, and it may lead to severe nonideal power-sharing when the converters asynchronously connect with the system. To improve this problem, this study presents a resetting mechanism realized through a central console. In the end, the laboratory test results are supported to validate their benefits.

        Two new false click-beetles from China (Coleoptera: Elateroidae: Eucnemidae)

        Thambus planifrons Muona & Meng sp. nov. and Otho rutriclypeus Muona & Meng sp. nov. are described from China. Both genera are recorded for the first time from China. Except for the European T. friwaldszkyi Bonvouloir, 1871, and the Japanese T. curvicaria Hisamatsu, 1956, all other previously known species belonging to Otho were from the Americas.         Study on the role of gga-miRNA-200a in regulating cell differentiation and proliferation of chicken breast muscle by targeting Grb2

        Growth factor receptor-bound protein 2 (Grb2) have been proved by a lot of studies playing a major role in cell proliferation and cell differentiation. However, the regulation of Grb2 expression by microRNAs (miRNAs) in chicken breast muscle still remains unknown. The expression profile of Grb2 was checked based on our previous RNA sequencing data and the Grb2 relative expression level in breast muscle of aged hens (55-week-old) was validated significantly higher than juvenile hens (20-week-old) using qRT-PCR. miRNAs that interact with Grb2 have been predicted in chicken and the relationship between the potential miRNA and Grb2 was verified using dual luciferase reporter assay in chicken DF1 cells. Dual-luciferase reporter assays results demonstrated that the expression of luciferase reporter gene linked with part sequence of the 3′UTR of chicken Grb2 gene was down-regulated by the overexpression of gga (Gallus Gallus)- miR-200a-3p in the DF1 cells, and the down-regulation behavior was abolished when the ggamiR- 200a-3p binding site in 3′UTR of Grb2 was mutated, indicating that gga-miR-200a can suppress the expression level of its target gene Grb2. Therefore, we concluded that the significantly increased expression level of Grb2 in the breast muscle of aged chicken can (at least partly can) be explained by the decreased expression of miR-200a, which reduced the inhibitory effect on Grb2. Taken together, these findings suggest that gga-miR-200a can suppress the expression level of its target gene Grb2 and might be involved in the cell differentiation and proliferation of chicken breast muscle through binding with the 3’UTR of Grb2.

        Multiparametric Functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging for Evaluating Renal Allograft Injury

        Kidney transplantation is the treatment of choice for patients with end-stage renal disease, as it extends survival and increases quality of life in these patients. However, chronic allograft injury continues to be a major problem, and leads to eventual graft loss. Early detection of allograft injury is essential for guiding appropriate intervention to delay or prevent irreversible damage. Several advanced MRI techniques can offer some important information regarding functional changes such as perfusion, diffusion, structural complexity, as well as oxygenation and fibrosis. This review highlights the potential of multiparametric MRI for noninvasive and comprehensive assessment of renal allograft injury.
