      • 全北大學校 綜合計劃(Master Plan)에 關한 硏究(Ⅰ)

        This report outlines a ten-year(1976-1986) academic and physical development plan of Jeonbug National University. It was prepared over a period of ten months from April, 1976, to February, 1977, by a committee of five professors under the supervision of Dr. Chong Soon Lee. For a final report, the committee not only reviewed the past trend and patterns in the University's development and its present structures and conditions, both academic and physical, but also constantly consulted with Dr. Chong Supp Shim, president, the faculty, and experts in the field through meetings and questionaires. Consultation with them was paticularly needed in envisioning the future directions and possibilities for developing the University. The report presented here is a version revised and approved by the deans council of the University. Since its foundation in 1951, Jeonbug National University has grown from a small provincial institution into a full-scale national university. It now comprises seven colleges and three graduate schools, the students currently enrolled numbering around 5,500 and the faculty and administrative staff consisting of 750 employees. In keeping with the rapid growth of the nation and the governmental emphasis on developing provincial universities, the University is expected within ten years to develop into an academic institution consisting of eight colleges and six graduate schools. The number of undergraduate departments will increase from 40 to 61, and the number of students in attendance will amount to 10,000. In order to cope with this rapid increase in the number of departments and students, the academic plan of this report preseents a time-table of setting up new departments and makes a proposal for restructuring the University's academic and administrative systems. It also recommends that with the inception of the Research Foundation research activities will be systemitized and coordinated around ten major research institutes at the University. The physical development plan of the University has been in urgent need. The planning committe laid out a road construction plan mapping the entrances and major traffic routes on the campus. It also made proposals as to future building sites, centering around the central library under construction. The Medical School and its hospital, now in downtown Jeonju, are planned to be built on the 2nd campus east of the main campus. The University High School is also planned to move to the eastern part of the main campus. Besides the further construction of classroom and laboratory buildings, the University plans to construct an auditorium, an audio-visual center, a museum, a gymnasium, a new administration building, and other facilities. For the completion of these buildings, the estimated cost will amount to 200 billion won in total.

      • 地盤 掘鑿時 地下水流出이 背面地盤 沈下에 끼치는 影響

        The ground settlement with excavations behind the retention wall, recently, have been call for a great attention in the large urban areas because of leading to severe damage to neighbouring structures. Horizantal displacement of the retention wall and ground loss due to a dewatering in excavations are two major factors causing the ground settlement. In order to protect damages for adjacent structures, therefore, the ground settlements due to a dewatering and loss of the ground behind the walls should be accurately predicted but it is very difficult and complicated. Most of analysis method, however, have been proposed to estimate the settlement behaviour based on beam on elasto-plastic foundation theory and few definitive data exist that can evaluate the behaviour based on finite difference method. The investigations described in this paper, based on finite difference method is designed to compare the ground settlements behind the retention wall between two analysis method. Analysis results and data for 2 excavated area in Seoul metropolitan, Show that the results of the finite difference method are more resonable than those of beam on elasto-plastic foundation theory, especially in the case of the dewatering site and nearby retention walls. On the other hand, the Lohman's proposal for a dewatering does not coincide with the results of analysis.

      • 회전판 접촉공정 (Rotating Biological Contactor System)을 이용한 Cr(Ⅵ) 이온의 제거

        This study was carried out to find a new process for removal of Cr(VI) ion from the industrial wastewater by the Rotating Biological Contactor system. The proper operation conditions for removal Cr(VI) ion were pH=7.2-7.4, tip speed 10.0m/min and flow rate of influent 47.41L/min. day in this RBC system. Under the above mentioned conditions, the BOD removal effiency was more than 94% in the case of the influent which contain Cr(VI) ion removal efficiency was more than 90% as far as influent of 2.0㎎/L Cr(VI) was fed to this RBC system.

        단일클론 항 γ-Glutamyltrasferase(GCT) 항체를 이용한 혈뇌장벽 내 GGT의 분포에 관한 연구

        γ-Glutamyltransferase(GGT: E.C. 2.3.2.2.) is a glycoprotein enzyme which is involved in glutathione metabolism and amino acid transport through the plasma membrane. It is distributed widely in several organs including liver, kidney, pancrease and brain. GGTs derived from the brain of Wister rats and BALB/c mice were biochemically purified to a specific activity of 4246.2, 862.1 units per mg of protein, a purification folds 93.7, 43.8 and the final yield 65.8, 44.0% respectively. Electrophoretic pattern of purified GGTs from rats and mice brain shows very similar protein fraction each other. We have produced six monoclonal antibodies(GGT-MAb 1-6) against 2-acetamidofluorene treated rat liver GGT. Using these GGT-MAb 1-6 we performed immunohistochemistry(IHC) to study the distribution of GGY isozymes in normal tissues of rat brain and in ncoplastic tissues of human brain. The results indicated that human brain GGT was localized in pericytes of blood-brain barrier, especially in the blood-rich portion of the brain(e.g. cerebellum of rat, meningioma and craniopharyngioma of human). Therefore these MAbs may be used to evaluate the distribution of GGT isozymes in different tissues.

      • 매자나무科 植物의 Alkaloid 硏究 (I) : 매자나무의 硏究

        民間에서 苦味健胃藥 또는 洗眼劑로 使用되는 매자나무의 地上莖에서 第三級?基로서 berbamine, oxyberberine, 第四級?基로서 jatrorrhizine, magnoflorine, berberine, shobakunine等을 分離確認하고, 1個의 未知?基를 分水하였다. 地下莖의 ?基는 地下莖와 같으나 上記 末知?基가 없었고 第三級?基인 oxyacauihiu이 存在하였다. Examinations were made on the alkaloids contained in the Berberis Koreana Palibin (Korean name, Maeza Namoo) and 8 kinds of alkaloids were isolated. By the various physico-chemical methods, the presences of oxyacanthin and berbamin as the tert-biscoclaurin-type base, oxyberberin as the berberin-type base and a unknown base were proved. Water-soluble, quaternary bases present were also proved as the berberin-type, berberin jatrarrhizin, shobakunin, and aporphin-type magnoflorin.

      • 防波堤의 任意 配置에 對한 波浪 廻折

        In harbor design, it is a necessary condition to retain calmness inside a harbor. For this purpose, breakwaters are disposed as exterior structures against incident waves. There are cases that necessitate main and auxiliary breakwaters according to frequent directions of incident waves. In these cases, harbor entrances have various geometric shapes in horizontal plane. In the program developed here, harbor entrances are classified into six different cases by the disposition of breakwaters and the attack angle of incident waves. For each case, the diffraction phenomena inside and around harbor entrance are analysed by superposing the solutions of Sommerfeld's. The method gives fairly good results compared with those reported before, and also is proved to be computationally very efficient. Therefore, the method may be applicable to the preliminary design of breakwater dispositions, and also the program can be used as the basic subroutine in the calculation of wave height distributions inside a harbor with reflected waves.

        방사성 동위체 도입과 그 추적기술에 의한 수도계(水稻系) 활성상의 해명과 개선에 관한 연구(제3보) : 저인산성 무기 용성물질의 시용과 용수조절 효과에 대하여 Effects of Application of Fused Magnesium Low Level Phosphate and Control of Irrigation Water

        1. Through out the entire stage of growth, the amount of nutrients, number of tillers and of spikes increased in the Simagcalin treated plot as compared with the control. The treated plot showed healthul growth at the later growing stage. On the other hand. management of irrigation water resulted in raised the grain straw ratio and retarded the culm height about 10%. 2. Application of Simagcalin greatly increased the content of phosphorus and magnesium at the harvesting time. The culm and sheath analyses are recommendable for the determination of magnesium deficiency. 3. The controled irrigation would effect root activity as the main factor, and Simagcalin might act as a secondary factor. 4. While the application of phosphorus may not affect the yield components, The basic elements in Simagcalin may enhance the uptake ov nutrients under heavy application of nitrogn.

      • 振動과 凍結 : 融解作用이 粘土의 Creep 擧動에 끼치는 影響

        Creep characteristics of soft, high-plastic clays under dynamic loading and frost heaving-thawing condition were investigated. Drained creep and drained creep-resonant column tests under three stress levels were performed in order to study the effects of vibration on the creep behavior of the clays. Unconfined compression tests were carried out as well, to compare the variation of shear strength of the clays depending on degree of thawing. Test results and data indicate that the induced vibrations increased the axial strain suddenly in the sample, but there was a gradually decrease of axial strain after the dynamic loading test. Therefore, the increase of axial strain during the resonant column test was not permanant. The temporary increase and decrease of axial shear strain in the samples were dependent on the stress level. It is also shown that recovery time after vibrations decrease with increasing stress level. On the other hand, there appears to be no difference of creep behavior between the normally compacted clays and the clays frost heaving-thawing conditions.

        Try to find a scheme for activation to College Physical Education, this Report informs the various kinds of Survey and process those were projected for improvement of management methods on Cultural Physical Education in Kang Weon National University. From experimentally carried out "Sports events Choosing System" not as usual be inforced "Total practical Skill System", Following Positive effects and sujestions were Presented; 1. "Sports events choosing system" gave birth to more students' interesting and more voluntary participation to the sports events they chose, and sports skill and instruction level was elevated due to charge of expert according to each sports events. This system would be managed continuously hereafter for it related to life sports. 2. This System needs to closed cooperations between College and Community, for the facilities of community are utilized by college. 3. To complete the plan for activation of college Physical Education, additionally, the successional study ; namely "autonomous extracurricular sports activity" should be excuted hereafter.
