      • 신장허혈백서에서 투여 시기에 따른 캄슘길항제의 효과

        During ischemia, the cellular ATP concentrations quickly decline due in part to the absence of an adequate electrone acceptor and in part to the continued utilization of previously sythesized ATP by energy-dependent functions and the levels of ADP and AMP rise rapidly and these were further catabolised to hypoxanthine. Hypoxanthine and xanthine catabolized to uric acid by xanthine oxidase and in these metabolic step, free radicals were produced. The levels of intracellular calcium were increased due to the impared faction of membrane pump such as Na-K ATPase and Ca-ATPase because of decresed ATP levels in ischemia. Calcium promote cell injury including the plasma membrane, mitochondria, endoplasmic reticulum and the cytoskeleton but the precise roles of calcium in ischemic cell injury were unknown. In this experiment, effects of trifluoperazine(calmodulin antagonist) and allopurinol(xanthine oxidase inhibitor) on ischemic-reflowed rat kidney was investigated by the contents of malondialdehyde(MDA) as a indicator of lipide proxidation, the activities of antioxidant enzymes including superoxide dismutase(SOD), glutathione peroxidase and catalase, and the levels of glutathione. Allopurinol(50㎎/㎏ of body weight) was administrated by orally 12 hours before ischemia and trifluoperazine(2㎎/㎏ of body weight) was administrated 10 minutes before ischemia or 10 minutes after ischemia by intravenous injection. The contents of MDA was significantly increased by ischemia-reflow but significantly reduced by allopurinol pretreatment. The decrement of SOD and catalase activities were significantly reduced by allopurinol and trifluoperazine regardless of adminstration time compared with allopurinol pretreated group. The changes of glutathione peroxidase activity was significantly reduced by allopurinol and trifluoperazine. But the levels of glutathione was significantly decreased by allopurinol and trifluoperazine. These result suggested that xanthine oxidase and calcium paticipate in ischemic-reflow cell injury in rat kidney and calcium induced cell injury occure mainly during reflow period.

        노인에서 정서 인식의 저하

        Objectives : The purpose of this study was to investigate whether elderly and young adults differ in their recognition of facial expressions of emotion. Methods : A total of 120 (elderly group 53, young group 67) subjects participated in this study. Korean facial expressions of emotion including happiness, sadness, fear, anger, disgust, surprise and neutral were used as stimuli for facial affect recognition test. Computerized facial affect recognition test that consists of facial affect discrimination test and facial affect intensity test was performed. Results : For facial affect discrimination test, there was a significant difference between two groups (F==3.986, P<.01) after controlling the effect of education. Elderly participants showed significantly less correct recognition rate with sadness, anger and disgust (p<.05). For facial affect intensity test, there was no significant difference between the groups in recognition of emotional intensity. Chi-square test or t-test was done according to the clinical variables. Multivariate analysis of covahance was done to test group differences of correct recognition rate and emotional intensity. Conclusion : This is the first report of differential decrease of facial affect recognition in elderly using Korean facial expressions. This study suggests that the decrement of facial affect recognition maye be a part of normal aging process.

      • 가열 스테인레스 강 표면의 조성

        스테인레스 강 304를 공기와 질소 기체속에서 200-500℃ 온도 범위로 가열 산화시킨 다음에 표면 산화층이 depth composition profile을 XPS로 구하였다. 기체/산화물 계면 부근에서는 주로 철이 나타나고 내부로 들어가면서 크롬의 농도가 증가한다. 그리고 크롬이 산화 상태를 나타내는 영역에서 철은 금속 상태를 나타내기 시작한다. 이런 현상은 표면쪽으로의 철 이온의 확산 속도와 용액속으로 용해속도가 다른 산화종의 확산 속도보다 빠르기 때문이라고 생각된다. 질소 기체 분위기 속에서 200℃로 가열한 시편은 공기중에서 열 처리한 것과 거의 비슷한 depth profile을 나타내었다. 그리고 이 온도에서는 공기중에서나 질소중에서 산화가 일어나지 않는다. The stainless steel 304 is oxidized at various temperatures between 200 through 500℃ temperature region both in the air and nitrogen atmosphere and analyzed them for the depth composition profile of surface region using X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS). It is found that Fe is concentrated in the gas/oxide interface, and Cr is found rich in the subsurface under the Fe rich layer. Fe begins to show a metallic state at the region where Cr is still in the oxidized state. These findings can be attributed to the greater diffusion rate of Fe ion compared to other oxidized species. The depth profile of the sample heated up to 200℃ in the nitrogen atmosphere gives a similar result with the one obtained from the sample heated in the air. It is found that no oxidation takes place at these low temperature region either in the air or in the nitrogen atmospheres.

        인터넷 메타데이타 검색 및 관리 시스템의 설계 및 구현

        인터넷은 디지탈 형태의 다양한 정보를 신속하게 전달한다는 점에서 매우 각광을 받고 있다. 그러나, 대량의 인터넷 정보 중에서 자신이 원하는 정보 자원을 정확하게 많이 얻어 낼 수 있는 방법의 제공은 매우 어려운 문제이다. 본 논문에서는 인터넷 정보 자원의 메타데이타를 관리하기 위해 SeriCore라는 SGML 형식의 메타데이타 DTD(Document Type Definition)를 정의하고, 이들 메타데이타를 효율적으로 저장하고 검색, 관리할 수 있는 시스템을 설계, 구현하였다 The Internet has gained popularity because ot provides various information in digital format. However, it is very difficult to provide methods which make it possible to search adequate information resource from bulk of Internet information. In this paper, we define a SGML metadata DTD, named SeriCore, and design and implement a metadata retrieval and management system which can store, retrieve and manage the Internet metadata efficiently

      • 運動 後 恢復期에 따른 血液成分 變化

        This study is based on a 50cm Harvard Step Test of five male college students to find out the change of the blood contents in the period of convalescence after the maximum intensity exercise reaching 170 beats / minute of heart rate. We got these results after three experiments. 1. In the Period of Convalescence after the maximum intensity exercise, a white blood cell count was higher than that of normal period, and after 30 minutes of relaxing time it went back to normal range. 2. In the Period of Convalescence after the maximum intensity exercise, a red blood cell count was higher than that of normal period, and after 30 minutes of relaxing time it went back to the normal range. 3. In the Period of Convalescence after the maximum intensity exercise, a hemoglobin count was higher than that of normal period, and after 30 minutes of relaxing time it went back to the normal range. 4. In the Period of Convalescence after the maximum intensity exercise, a hematocrit count was higher than that of normal period, and after 30 minutes of relaxing time it went back to the normal range. 5. In the Period of Convalescence after the maximum intensity exercise, a platelet count was higher than that of normal period, and after 30 minutes of relaxing time it went back to the normal range. 6. In the Period of Convalescence after the maximum intensity exercise, a glucose level in the blood decreased slightly. But after 10 minutes of relaxing time, it went up to slightly higher level than that of a normal period. Even after 30 minutes of relaxing time, it did not fully recover to the normal period level.

      • 캔음료중 epichlorohydrin 의분석법에 관한 연구

        캔식품중에 잔류하는 epichlorohydrin을 분석하기 위한 pu링e & trap-Cc/uf통D 분석법을 확립하여 캔의 lacauer 코팅제에서 식품으로 이행되어 잔류하는 epichtorohydfn을 측정하고, 식품유사용매에 의한 용출시험을 통해 일일추정섭취량을 산출하였다. epichlorohydrin의 검량선은 y=0.0006x+0.OO6?(R큰0.9983)의 직선성·라 0.05#ga의 검출한계를 나타내었다. 각종 음료 및 식품유사용매에 일정량의 epichlorohydrin을 첨가한 후 분석하였을 때 회수을은 72~91%였으며, 실제 시판되는 f5건의 캔음료 중 잔류하는 epichlorohydrin을 측정한 결과 모든 캔음료에서 검출한계(0.1#94) 이하였다. 제관업체에서 구입한 modifed epoxy, epoxy phenolic, vinyl organosol, epoxy phenol ester 등의 BADGE(bisphenol A diglycidyt ether)형 에폭시수지로 lacquer 코팅된 식품용 캔에 식품윤사용매인 10% 또는 95% 에탄올을 층L진한 후 90~121'c의 드라이오븐에서 30분~2시간동안 용출시켰을 패 캔의 lacquer 코팅재에서 식품유사용매로 이행되는 epichBorollydirn은 코팅재질, 그리고 가열온도 및 시간에 문관하게 모든 캔에서 검출한계(0.4#ga)이하 였다. 위의 용출결과를 FD.f_의 "Recommendation for Chemistry Data for Indirect Food Additive Petition" 윽 일일추정섭취량 산출법에 적용하여 얻은 epichtorohydrin의 일딜추정 섭 취 량은 0.2r조persorday이하였다. A sensitive ana1?~7tical method based on gas cl)romatogFapy~mass spectrometry with a selected ion monitoring (GE/hfS-Slhf) and the purge-and-trap concentrator ))·asdeveloped for determining ot'epicillorohydrin in canr;ed be)#erages coated with eporl· resin. Thecalibration rurve in the ranre of 0.j ~50nr had'correlation coefficient of 0.9983 and detection limit of 0.Osrga. Recoveries of epichlorohydrin spiked to beverages were in the range of 72 ~91% with detection limits of 0.1 #ga. fn survey of epichlorohydff in twenty commercialcanned beverage samples, epichlorohydrin was not found in all the samples with the detectionlimit of 0.1 r9a. In migration test of various cans coated with BADGE-based coating cans;modifed epoxy, epoxy phenolic, vinyl organosol, epox?· phenol ester were exposed to the foodsimulants of 10% ethanol and 95% ethanol. flfo delectable epichlorohydrin migrated to foodsiHulants was found in aTl the cars with detection Jimit of 0.4 #9/L. Using the miEration data,along uTith the applicstion of food and beverage cans complied with FDA's "Recommendationfor Chemlstry Data f,3r Indirect Food Additive Petition" , the potential dietary exposure toepichlorohydrin was estlmated to be under 0.2rf/person/day.

      • 통풍 환자에서의 지질대사

        Objective: To evaluate hyperlipidemia, a msjor tisk factor of coronary artery disease, frequently asscoiated with gout patients, we compared the mean lipid level of gout patient with that of non-gout male and accessed statistical significance for treatment of gout patient. Method: This study ws performed in the 266 male gout outpatients of the CAU medical center, who had serum lipid level test from Apr. 1996 to Aug. 2000. Serum uric acid, total cholesterol, triglyceride, HDL -cholesterol, and LDL-cholesterol level were measured after 12 hours of fasting. The patients with high lipid level were further evaluated into each type of the hyperlipidemia through electrophoresis study, and the test results were compared with that of the non-gout male adults(40∼60yr), and the statistical significance was examined. Results : The gout patients showed high levels of total cholesterol, triglyceride, and LDL-cholesterol. Especially they showed high level of triglyceride and LDL-cholesterol which suggested as the risk factors of atherosclerosis and coronary heart disease, but shoewed low level of HDL -cholesterol. But there were no definite relations between lipid level and other factors auch as age of patient, initial uric acid ;eve; and duration od gout. Conclusion: To evaluate the risk factors of atherosclerotic change of cadriac vascular system in gout patient, screening tests of serum lipid level of the patient seem mandatory.

      • 흑연 표면에 흡착되는 영족 기체의 초기 제2분자층 형성 과정

        비활성 기체 Ar, Kr 및 Xe의 in-registry??out-of-registry의 구조 상전이 현상으로부터 흡착제 표면에서의 분자간 상호작용을 고찰하였다. 단분자층 완성 영역인 Knee band 부근에서의 제2분자층의 기여를 구하였다. 제1분자층은 lattice gas로 보고 quasi-chemical theory를, 제2분자층은 2차원 기체로 보고 virial 상태방정식을 적용하였다. 이 결과로부터 제2분자층의 기여와 단분자층 용량을 구하였다. 이 단분자층 용량에 분자 단면적을 곱하여 흡착제 표면적을 구하였다. In this work, intermolecular interaction on surface of adsorbent have been theoretically studied as considering the phenomenon of in-registry??out-of-registry structual phase transition. The contributions of the 2nd layer in knee band region of completing monolayer have been calculated. For the 1st layer assumed as a lattice gas, quasi-chemical theory and for the 2nd layer assumed as a two-dimensional gas, virial equation of state are applied. The isotherm which combines two isotherms, the 1st layer and the 2nd layer isotherm, is calculated and is compared with experimental isotherm. And then the contribution of the 2nd layer and monolayer capacity are calculated. The surface area of adsorbent is calculated using calculated monolayer capacity and cross sectional area of an adsorbed molecule.

      • 넙치 3계통의 혈액성분 분석 및 계통간 교배군의 초기성장과 생존율

        Hematological characteristics of the three populations in the olive flounder, Paralichthys olivaceus were analyzed. The sample fishes were collected from coastal sea areas around Korea (east and west coastal wild populations) and Japanese cultured population. Result researched into Hemoglobin, PCV, total protein, glucose, GOT and GPT in the three population were not significant (P>0.05). Abnormality of mating groups used east female were higher than Japanese female (P<0.05), but no significant differences were found in fertilization rate and hatching success (P>0.05). Japanese X east group showed highest percent and east X west group showed lowest percent in survival rate, significantly (P<0.05). East X east, Japanese X west and Japanese X Japanese groups showed higher growth rate in total length and body weight than the other groups, however, east X west group showed lower growth, significantly(P<0.05).
