        The purpose of this study was to identify the relationship between children's Inferiority and self-esteem during Taekwondo practice. In order to achieve this purpose, 480 subject were selected among participants of Taekwondo activity programs in the Seoul area by using the stratified cluster random sampling method. Out of the 480 questionnaires responded to. only 414 were used for data analyses because 66 were responded to incompletely or incorrectly. The instrument for data collection was a questionnaire in which Inferiority and self-esteem consisted of items identified by Jun(1999) and Jun(1993), respectively. The statistical methods utilized in the study for analyzing the collected data were reliability analysis, descriptive statistics, one-way ANOVA, standard multiple regression analysis and the following results were obtained: First, both Inferiority and self-esteem differ statistically and significantly according to both sociodemographic variables. Second, both Inferiority and self-esteem differ statistically and significantly according to Taekwondo practice. Third, Inferiority statistically and significantly influences self-esteem.

        In this study, we questioned about the possibility of the formation of the new community like relationship at the market on the contrary to the traditional market relationship. We conjectured that kind of new community like relationship may possibly arise because of wide spread of new information technology at market behavior of both consumer and producer side. Traditional buyer-seller relationship was characterized as an anonymous one-shot relationship, however, recent changes were mainly emphasized the rich mutual interactions from both sides. Producers needs more consumer side informations as well as consumers begin to participate on production side at more organized level. Some theoretical studies predict that more rich social relationship will appear at the market since the adoption and wide spread of new information technology. We assume that main functions and ingredients of the community are first, the coordination mechanism which reduces conflicts among community members and second, functional efficiency which meets the common needs of community and third, communicational rationality which enhances the integrity of community members. We surveyed about 100 small and medium sized firms located at Pusan and Kyung-Nam area in order to find out whether firms have community like relationship with their consumers. We fine that most of firms realize the impotance of consumer networks, however most of firms consider this kind of network as a marketing strategy and a source of product design instead of more community oriented characteristics like mutual trust building and social interactions.

        농산물 소독과정에서 브롬화메틸에 노출된 근로자에게 발생한 신경병 2례

        목적 : 농산물 소독과정에서 브롬화메틸에 노출된 근로자에게 발생한 신경병 2례 보고. 방법 : 피로감, 전신무력감, 어지럼증, 보행장애 등의 증상을 주소로 내원한 브롬화메틸을 사용하여 방역작업에 종사하는 건강한 20세와 18세의 근로자를 대상으로 혈액검사, 신경정도 및 근전도검사, 뇌자기공명영상 등의 임상검사와 작업력조사를 시행하였다. 결과 : 1례에서 뇌자기공명영상에서 연수와 소뇌의 양측 측충부의 고신호강도가 관찰되었고 11일 후의 추적조사에서 동일 부위의 고신호강토가 감소된 소견이 관찰되었으며 뇌병증으로 최종 진단되었다. 다른 1례는 신경전도검사에서 다발성 신경병 소견과 뇌유발전위검사에서 우측 하부 뇌간부위 병소가 관찰되었고 뇌병증 및 말초신경 병으로 최종 진단되었다. 결론 : 근로자들의 증상은 소독과정에서 브롬화메틸 노출로 인한 신경 병으로 판단되며 훈증소독과방역작업에 종사하는 근로자들의 실태조사와 안전에 대한 대책이 시급하다고 하겠다. Objectives : To report two cases of neuropathy due to methyl bromide intoxication. Methods : Workers, engaged in the fumigating process, complained fatigue, general weakness, ataxia, and hypersomnia. We evaluated them with blood tests, neurophysiologic studies and MRI and investigated their occupational history. Results : Increased signal intensities were found in the medulla oblongata and paraver mian of cerebellum in MRI and after 11 days, high signal intensities were reduced in the following MRI. In the other case, polyneuropathy and rlght lower brainstem lesion were observed In the NCV and BAEP studies. Conclusions : We confirmed that worker's symptoms were related to methyl bromide exposure in the fumigation. It is necessary that we should evaluate present condition of fumigating process and prepare appropriate methods to protect workers engaged in the fumigation.

        균여전 소재 향가의 차자 표기 독법 검토 -고려시대 『용감수경(龍龕手鏡)』 한자음의 음운론적 특징을 중심으로-

        이 논문의 목적은 균여향가에만 보이는 차자 ``留, 兮``의 정확한 음가를 추정해 보고자 하는 데 있다. 이 글자들은 기존의 해독을 따라 광운이나 당시 중고음의 음가 추정으로는 분명하게 그 음가를 추정하기 어렵다. 이에 본고는 균여향가의 차자 표기들이 신라 향가와는 다른 표기의 차이가 있음을 전제로 하고, 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 우선 『균여전』 편찬에 연루되어 있는 혁련정의 언어 인식도 균여 향가의 차자 표기법을 이해하는 데 고려의 대상으로 넣어야 한다고 생각했다. 따라서 『균여전』의 편찬 배경을 둘러싼 여러 사료들을 검토하고 특히 혁련정에 대한 기록을 검토해 봄으로써 균여향가의 차자 표기법에 대해 기존의 시각과는 다른 측면에서 균여 향가를 읽을 가능성을 제시하였다. 또한 거란의 음운서인 『龍龕手鏡』을 검토해 봄으로써 균여향가의 차자 표기가 용감수경 한자음과 일련의 관계가 있을 가능성에 대해서도 고찰해 보았다. 『龍龕手鏡』은 한자의 음을 ``__反, 俗__反, 正__反, 俗__音, 正音, 今音`` 등으로 표시하고 있다. 본고는 이렇게 표시된 한자음을 모두 뽑아내어서 반절자들의 음을 정리하는데 주력했다. 그리고 이를 바탕으로 『균여전』 소재 향가에서만 보이는 ``留, 兮``의 차자 표기가 『용감수경(龍龕手鏡) 』과 같은 대장경 계통의 불경 자전들의 영향을 받았을 가능성에 대해서 논의했다. This paper aims to examine different reading method of ``留, 兮`` some borrowed characters of Hyang Ga, which have been extant only in Kyunyo Chon. It is difficult to make out correct pronunciation of ``留, 兮`` particularly because they are present nowhere else than in Kyunyo Chon. First of all, considering that there exist differences in writing between Hyang Ga`s expression system and that of Shilla Hyang Ga, we propose Hyukryun Jung`s linguistic findings on the writing system of Kyunyo Chon to take also into consideration. We confirmed that Hyukryun Jung went to Yo(遼) Danasty during the historical period of Koryo dynasty. We also found that 留 could be pronounced as [ro], 兮 as [i] etc., in the Yong Gam Su Gyoung(龍龕手鏡). In Conclusion, we discuss on the possibility of seeing borrowing characters of ``留, 兮`` of Hyang Ga as having been influenced by Buddhist scriptures of Dae Jang Gyong.

        초등학생의 환경 의식 변화에 관한 종단적 경향성 조사

        The purpose of this study was to survey the change of environmental awareness of elementary school students under the longitudinal-sectional research design. For this study, the questionnaire was used for 599 fifth and sixth grade students living in Seoul, Anseong, and Yangjugun. The results of this survey, compared and analyzed with those of 1987, 1992, 1996, and 2000, were summarized as follows: In the point of environmental awareness, the interest for animal protection and conservation of nature increase but the interest for environmental pollution decreased. There was a high awareness about water pollution, and the awareness about the exhaust of automobile was constantly increasing. Regarding students' knowledge about the environment, their attitudes, and changes of practice, the rate of interest for environmental pollution decreased but the rate of interest for animal protection and conservation of nature increased. As a result of this study, it was found that the students' awareness about the environment varied according to the survey year. By changing the environment education according to this variation, it can be possible to effectively teach students to increase their environmental awareness and develop a habit of environmental protection.

        물리 개념 모형 완성 활동이 고등학생의 물리 개념 학습 성취도에 미치는 효과

        The aim of this study is to investigate if learning through completing activities of physics conceptual model is more effective than learning through traditional teaching method based on didactical lecture. Completing activities of physics conceptual model is for the students to complete an incomplete conceptual model of physics given by the authors. For the study, four classes(140 students) from two high-schools were sampled and divided into experimental and control groups. After pretest, 3 periods of instruction were implemented, and then, post-test was taken. For the experimental group, instructions with completing activities of physics conceptual model were implemented, while, for the control groups, traditional instructions based on didactical lecture were implemented. According to the statistical analysis of test results, there was a meaningful difference statistically in post-test between experimental groups and control groups, while there was no meaningful difference statistically in pretest results between them.

        고등학교 1학년 학생들의 인지수준과 과학의 물질 단원 내용수준 비교 분석 및 교사들의 인식

        The purpose of this study was to seek for improved teaching and learning methods by comparatively analyzing the cognitive level of 10th grade students and the content level of high school science textbooks's matter unit and examining the teacher's understanding of these issues. For this study, the cognitive level of 336 10th grade students from 4 areas were analyzed using SRT Ⅲ (Science Reasoning Task Ⅲ) and the content level of 10 scientific concepts selected from the matter unit of high school science textbooks were analyzed using CAT (Curriculum Analysis Taxonomy). How high school science teachers understood these issues was also examined. The result showed that 51% of the research subjects were the formal operational level, 30% of the transitional level, and 19% of the concrete operational level. The percentage of students of the formal operational level varied according to each school. The scientific concepts of the matter unit of the 6 high school science textbooks were mostly of the early formal operational level. However, the content level of the same scientific concept varied according to each textbook, since the level of each textbookordiexpdeining scientific concepts to students and the answers theyiexpected from students were different. Furthermore, high school science teachers considered the content level of the scientific concepts lower than the actual content level analyzed through teptsAT. Such d6 harmonyibetween the cognitive level of students and the content level of the scientific concepts and the wrong conceptt. Furtteachers of the content level of the scientific concepts effects the students' understanding of scientific concepts and teaching-learning methods. I Furder to solve the discordance between the level of students and scientific concepts and to increase the understanding of students of scientific concepts, teachers should develop the appropriate teaching and learning methods that considers the cognitive level of students and content level of scientific concepts, by analyzing the cognitive level of students and understand the content level of scientific concepts of science textbooks, prior to class. 이 연구는 고등학교 1학년 학생들의 인지수준과 고등학교 과학 물질 단원의 내용수준을 비교 분석하고, 이에 대한 공통과학 교사들의 인식을 알아봄으로써, 교수 학습 방법에 대한 시사점을 얻고자 하는 것이다. 연구를 위하여 4개 지역의 고등학교 1학년 학생 336명 을 대상으로 SRT Ⅲ(science reasoning task Ⅲ)를 사용하여 인지수준을 조사하였으며, 고등학교 과학 물질 단원에서 10개의 과학 개념을 추출하여 CAT (curriculum analysis taxonomy) 분석틀로 내용수준을 분석하였다. 그리고 이에 대한 공통과학 교사들의 인식을 조사하였다. 연구 결과에 의하면, 고등학교 1학년 학생들의 51%가 형식적 조작가 수준이었으나, 30%의 학생들과 19%의 학생들은 각각 과도기 수준과 구체적 조작기 수준이었으며, 형식적 조작기 수준의 학생 비율은 학교별로 차이가 있었다. 고등학교 6종 과학교파서에 제시된 물질 단원 과학 개념들의 내용수준은 대부분 초기 형식적 조작기 수준이었으니, 같은 과학 개념이라도 설명하는 수준과 학생들에게 요구하는 답변의 수준 차이로 인해 교과서별로 내용수준에 차이가 있었다. 그리고 과학교사들은 과학 개념의 내용수준을 CAT 분석틀로 분석된 실제의 내용수준에 비해서 낮게 인식하고 있었다. 이러한 학생들의 인지수준과 과학 개념의 내용수준의 불일치와 과학교사들의 과학 개념 내용수준에 대한 잘못된 인식이 학생들의 과학개념에 대한 이해도와 교수-학습에 영향을 미칠 것이다. 그러므로 학생들의 인지수준과 과학 개념 내용수준간의 불균형을 해소하고 과학 개념에 대한 학생들의 이해도를 높이기 위해서는 과학교사들이 학생들의 인지수준과 과학 개념의 내용수준을 사전에 파악하여, 학생들의 인지수준과 파학 개념의 내용수준을 고려하는 교수-학습 전략이 필요하다.

        과학자에 대한 초등학교 일반 학생과 과학 영재반 학생의 인식 비교 분석

        This study was designed to compare the understanding of ordinary elementary school students and scientifically gifted students about scientists. 473 fourth, fifth, and sixth graders in ordinary elementary schools and 40 students attending scientific educational institutions for the gifted were studied with the help of questionnaires and interviews. The survey showed that there were no significant differences between the two subject groups in relation to the external images of scientists. The subjects turned out to have four fixed external images. The scientifically gifted students had a better understanding of the internal images of scientists than ordinary elementary school students. Both the subject groups turned out to be influenced by the press media and off-campus education, thinking that scientists served as inventors producing something useful in daily life rather than as researchers studying natural phenomena or laws. It was found out that both groups admired Edison. The ordinary students respected Einstein and Jang Yeong-Sil whereas the scientifically gifted students respected Curie, Jang Yeong-Sil, and Nobel. The subjects admired them because of their achievements instead of their backgrounds or individual characteristics.

      • 열응답성 나노복합재료의 합성과 LCST에서의 열적특성

        Thermal responsive nanocomposite were synthesized by copolymerization of N-isopropyl acrylamide and methylene bisacrylamide(crosslinking monomer) in an aqueous suspension of MAPTC-montorillonite at room temperature. Hydrogels containing 2.0 ∼5.0wt% of montmorillonite exhibited a lower critical solution temperature(LCST) similar to unmodified PNIPAM hydrogel (approximately 33.7℃). However, hydrogels containing 10wt% montmorillonite did not exhibit a measurable LCST. TGA result shows thermal stability of thermal responsive nanocomposite imoroved a little more than the thermal responsive polymer.
