This study dealt with the mechanical properties of aluminum alloy A5083 friction welds contained upset length, tensile test, hardness test, observation of microstructure and tensile fractured surface. The welding conditions of the maximum tensile strength of friction weld were revolution 2000rpm, friction pressure 50MPa, upset pressure 110MPa, friction time 1.0sec, and upset time 6.0sec. This study came to these conclusion as follow : 1.The maximum tensile strength was 355MPa which was 102% of the tensile strength 348MPa of the base material. 2.The conditions when maximum tensile strength was acquired, occurred dimple on the tensile fracture surface and upset length was 4.9mm. 3.The maximum hardness was Hv89 in the weld interface and soft zone was confirmed on the heat affected zone(HAZ).

In this study, to find out optimum condition of friction welding when we weld together bushing part and flange by friction with Water and air ejected into bushing at a fixed pressure of 6[㎏f/㎠], the experiment was performed with metal bearing. Heating pressure was changed from 1.6[㎏f/㎟], to 2.0, 2.4, 2.8, 3.0, and 3.2 on the fixed condition that spindle speed is 1600[rpm], preheating pressure 0.6[㎏f/㎟], upset pressure 2.6[㎏f/㎟], preheating time 0.5 seconds, heating time 1.7 seconds, upset time 2.0 seconds. On the basis of the experimental results, the following conculusion are drawn : A. Tensile strength shows the maximum 42[㎏f/㎟] without rising of Al-alloy structure when heating pressure is between 2.4[㎏f/㎟] and 2.8[㎏f/㎟] B. Bending strength under 2.8[㎏f/㎟] heating pressure is shown 37.2[㎏f/㎟], which is a little lower than base metal and is the maximum on the condition that there is no rising of the Al-alloy structure. C. Hardness is the maximum 275[Hv] at the friction weld interface. Heat-affected zone where hardness is higher than base metal spreads 1.5[㎜] far from the friction weld interface in the bushing part and 2.5[㎜] in the flange part. D. Heat-affected zone of Al-alloy structure inside of bushing part was not changed by heating pressure, but the Al-alloy structure wthin 2.0[㎜] from the friction weld interface changed.

This study deals with the mechanical properties of welding part, by friction welding of SM45C steel rod and SWS41A yoke which have being used Steering-Joint. The experimental results are summrized as follows ; 1. When CO₂welding is replaced with friction welding, we can get benefit manufacture. 2. The result of tensile test showed the highest tensile strength of 612MPa(150% of base metal strength 402MPa). 3. The result of bending test showed the highest bending strength of 1066MPa(80% of base metal strength 1259MPa).
韓國産 靈芝 煎湯液이 Mouse의 免疫細胞 機能에 미치는 影響

This study was done to know the effects of Natural Ganoderma or Cultured Ganoderma on the innate immunities, tumor immunities and rosette forming capacities of spleen cells. The innate immunities were evaluated by measuring the effects of Natural or Cultured Ganoderma on the phagocytic activity and reactive oxygen intermediate(ROI) formation of macrophages. The effects of Natural or Cultured Ganoderma on the tumor immunities were evaluated by checking the antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity(ADCC) and natural killer(NK) cell activities. The administrations of both Natural and Cultured Ganoderma increased the phagocytic activities and the production of ROI of macrophages from the peritoneal cavities. But the effects caused by Natural Ganoderma were bigger than those by Cultured Ganoderma. Both the Natural and Cultured Ganoderma enhanced the ADCC but did not affect on the NK activity. The capacities of spleen cells to forming rosette were increased greatly bo the administration of Natural Ganoderma and slightly by the administration of Cultured Ganoderma. The results of this study showed that even though both Natural and Cultured Ganoderma enhanced the innate immunities, tumor immunity, and rosette forming capacity of spleen cells, Natural Ganoderma were better than Cultured Ganoderma in increasing the host's immune capabilities.

본 연구는 육계사료 내 금속단백질분해효소와 xylanase를 포함하는 복합 효소제 첨가 급여가 육계 생산성, 도체특성 및 계육 저장성에 미치는 영향을 조사하기 위하여 실시하였다. 실험 디자인은 2 (기초사료, 저영양사료) x 3 (0, 0.5, 1 g/kg 효소첨가) 요인 배치로 설계하였다. 실험동물은 ross broilers 수컷 360수를 공시하여 다음의 6개의 시험 그룹에 완전임의 배치하였다. BD-T0(기초사료+복합효소제 0 g/kg), BD-T1(기초사료+복합효소제 0.5 g/kg), BD-T2(기초사료+복합효소제 1 g/kg), LD-T0(저영양사료+복합효소제 0 g/kg), LD-T1(저영양사료+복합효소제 0.5 g/kg), LD-T2(저영양사료+복합효소제 1 g/kg). 사료와 물은 42일 동안 자유채식을 실시하였으며, 사료섭취량과 체중은 1주 간격으로 측정하였다. 사양시험 종료 후에 방혈로 도살하고 분석에 필요한 시료를 채취하였다. 사료 섭취량은 효소첨가 그룹이 효소 비첨가 그룹에 비해서 유의하게 감소하였으며, 체중과 일당증체량은 효소첨가 그룹이 효소 비첨가 그룹에 비하여 유의하게 증가하였다. 따라서 사료요구율은 복합효소 첨가에 의해 유의하게 개선되었다(p<0.05). 복합효소첨가 급여에 의하여 도체율과 생산지수 또한 유의하게 개선되었다(p<0.05). TBARS는 계육 저장 6일차에 효소첨가 그룹이 효소 비첨가 그룹보다 낮은 값을 나타내었다(p<0.05). 본 연구의 결과를 종합해보면, 사료 내 복합효소제의 첨가 급여는 생산성과 도체성적 그리고 저장성을 유의하게 개선시켰다. This study was conducted to investigate the effects of dietary supplementation of enzyme complex(metalloprotease and xylanase) on growth performance, carcass characteristics and meat storability of broiler chickens. The experiment utilized a 2 (basal and low spec diets) × 3 (0, 0.5 or 1 g/kg of enzyme supplementation) factorial arrangement. A total of 360 male Ross broilers were randomly assigned into the following six groups: BD-T0 (basal diet + enzyme complex 0 g/kg), BD-T1 (basal diet + enzyme complex 0.5 g/kg), BD-T2 (basal diet + enzyme complex 1 g/kg), LD-T0 (low spec diet + enzyme complex 0 g/kg), LD-T1 (low spec diet + enzyme complex 0.5 g/kg), LD-T2 (low spec diet + enzyme complex 1 g/kg). Feed and water were provided ad libitum for 42 days, during which time feed intake and body weight were measured at one-week intervals. After the feeding trial, chickens were slaughtered by exsanguination and samples were collected. Feed intake was lower in the enzyme supplemented groups than the non-supplemented groups (p<0.05), as were body weight and gain (p<0.05). Thus, the feed conversion ratio improved in the enzyme supplemented groups relative to the non-supplemented groups (p<0.05). The carcass rate and production index were also significantly improved by supplementation with enzyme complex (p<0.05). Finally, the thiobarbituric acid reactive substances (TBARS) values were lower in the enzyme supplementation groups after 6 storage days (p<0.05). In conclusion, dietary supplementation with enzyme complex including metalloprotease and xylanase improved growth performance, carcass characteristics, and storability of broiler chicken meat.
KR‐31378 ameliorates atherosclerosis by blocking monocyte recruitment in hypercholestrolemic mice

<P>The recruitment of monocytes into the artery wall is a crucial early step in atherogenesis. A novel compound, KR-31378, has been shown to be a neuroprotective agent for ischemia-reperfusion damage in rat brain via its potent antioxidant and antiapoptotic actions. Here, we report the effects of this compound on atherogenesis and possible mechanisms of action. In Ldlr knockout mice fed with a high-fat, high-cholesterol diet, treatment with KR-31378 significantly inhibited fatty streak formation and macrophage accumulation. To address the possibility that KR-31378 may influence the initial stages of atherogenesis, we examined its effect on the adhesion and migration of monocytes to endothelial cells stimulated with tumor necrosis factor-alpha. KR-31378 decreased the adhesion in a dose-dependent manner. The observed decreases in cell adhesion and migration correlated with KR-31378-mediated down-regulation of vascular cell adhesion molecule-1 (VCAM-1) and interleukin (IL)-8. Nuclear factor-kappaB (NF-kappaB) is known to regulate the expression of adhesive and chemotactic molecules including VCAM-1 and IL-8. Indeed, transient transfection experiments, electrophoretic mobility shift assay, and IkappaB degradation assay showed that KR-31378 decreased NF-kappaB activation. These results indicate that KR-31378 potently reduces fatty streak formation by inhibiting NF-kappaB-dependent cellular adhesion and chemotactic molecule expression, which are crucial to monocyte infiltration into the arterial wall during the early stages of atherogenesis.</P>
