This paper shows the considerations of the control characteristics when the surface permanent magnet synchronous motor installed in an electric vehicle is controlled by direct torque control or current control type vector control. Current control type vector control is generally used as a control method of permanent magnet synchronous motor; however, that requires a rotor position detector, the rotating coordinate transformation, and current controller, which needs the gain adjustment. As a result, the controller configuration becomes complicated. In contrast, direct torque control does not require rotor position detector and current controller on the rotating coordinate system. Thus, position sensorless control can be realized more easily. In this research, the controller, which includes a three-phase voltage source inverter and controller board, of an electric vehicle was replaced in order to enable change of the motor control scheme. In addition, simulation verification, comparison of transient characteristics between two control schemes, was conducted. As a simulation result, vehicle speed characteristics of two schemes were almost same. However, the torque and the current of DTC have large ripple than those of vector control. Moreover, some experimental results are shown in this paper.
해양독소를 보유한 연체동물의 기관별 명칭과 생태학적 특성에 관하여

이 총설에서는 해양 연체동물 내 독소 분석을 하는 연구자들의 이해를 돕기 위하여, 국내에서 생산되거나 유통 되는 수산물 중 해양 생물독소에 오염될 수 있는 이매패류와 복족류 종들의 공식 명칭과 생태학적 특성을 소개하 였다. 또한 대표적인 생물군의 해부도를 통한 각 기관들의 위치와 공식적인 명칭을 알리고자 하였다. 향후 해양 생물독소 분석 관련 식품공전, 학술논문 및 보고서에 실험생물의 정확한 종명과 분석 기관의 명칭에 대한 통일 및 규격화가 필요하다. In order to aid the researchers who analyze the biotoxins in marine molluscs, this paper introduces the official names and ecological characteristics of the domestically produced or distributed bivalve and gastropods that can be contaminated with marine biotoxins. Also, the paper intends to inform the location and scientific name of each organ of the representative group of species through anatomical maps. In the future, it is necessary to standardize and normalize the names of the species and the research institutions in food codes, scholarly papers and reports on the marine biotoxin analysis.

The bivalve Malleus regula (Forsskål in Niebuhr, 1775) is reported for the first time from Korea. This is the second species of Malleidae reported from this country. Since the species is quite variable, comparisons were made with the original description and descriptions in the literature; some taxonomic comments were also made. Global warming and possible changes in the northward-flowing Tsushima Current may account for the addition of new mollusk species to the island’s fauna.

Approximately 20% of solid waste in Japan is disposed of at coastal landfill sites. It is an issue that it takes long-term to stabilize coastal landfill sites. Municipal solid waste incineration bottom ash (BA) is one of main wastes landfilled at coastal landfill sites. It is known that finer particles contain more contaminants in BA1), and it was demonstrated that the removal of finer particles from BA produced the lowering pH of leachate as well as the increase of permeability of the landfilled waste layer2). In this study, open channel (OC) classification was focused on as a feasible technique to remove finer particles from BA on a coastal landfill site, and its demonstrational experiment was carried out in order to clarify if the fine particle fraction (d<0.425mm) (FPF) could be removed from BA by OC classification and the settling characteristics of BA in OC. Fig. 1 shows the experimental apparatus. The sea water in a coastal landfill site was pumped up and flowed in OC, and BA is supplied on the surface of the flowing water. After completions of the settling and outflow of BA, saucers on the bottom of OC was collected, and the dry weight and particle size distribution of the BA sediment in each saucer were measured. Table 1 shows the experimental condition. The settling section means the part of OC from the BA supply point to the end of OC. Fig. 2 shows the removal ratio of FPF by OC classification, which is the ratio of the dry weight of FPF in the BA sediment to that in the BA supplied. The largest removal ratio was 61% in Case 3 with the largest water flow velocity and the shortest length of settling section. Fig. 3 shows the median of the settling velocity of BA in OC (MSV) compared with the theoretical settling velocity by Allen’s and Newton’s laws (TSV). The MSV of BA particles greater than 3mm was almost 50% of TSV, and MSV became closer to TSV as BA’s particle size became smaller. The MSV of BA particles with a diameter of 0.425mm was approximately 80% of TSV.

Three comprehensive acid deposition models were used to simulate the sulfur concentrations over northeast Asia over the period covering entire year of 2002, and discussed the aggregated uncertainties and discrepancies of the three models. The participating models are from the countries participating in the project of Longrange Transboundary Air Pollutants in Northeast Asia (LTP): China,Japan and Korea. The Eulerian Model-3/CMAQ (by China), Regional Air Quality Model (RAQM, by Japan), and Comprehensive Acid Deposition Model (CADM, by Korea) were employed by each country with common emissions data established by the administrative agencies of China, Japan and Korea. The episodic simulation results between 1 to 15, March 2002 are also presented, during which aircraft measurements were carried out over the Yellow sea. The episodic results show both a wide short-term variability in simulations against measurements, and maximum concentration differences of 3~5 times among the three models, requiring that further attention before confidence among the three models can be claimed for short-term simulations. However, the year-long cumulative simulations showed almost the same general features, with lower aggregated uncertainties between the three models, produced by the long term integration over northeast Asia.
