      • Oligodeoxynucleotide의 화학합성에 관한 연구

        A synthetic procedure for oligodeoxynucleotides employing solid-phase phosphitetriester method is described. Silica gel support suitable for solid-phase synthesis was prepared from HPLC-grade silica gel and 5'-O-DMTr-thymidine(or N -benzoyl-5'-O-DMTr-2'-deoxy cytidine). Activated phosphoramidite monomers were synthesized by reacing chloro-N-morpholinomethoxy phosphine with protected nucleosides in the presence of diisopropylethylamine. Oligodeoxynucleotides were obtained by chain elongation cycle that consists of detritylation. condensation. oxidation and capping. After demethylation using thiophenol. release of oligodeoxynucleotides from support treated with conc, ammonia water. The synthetic oligodeoxynucleotides 5´DMTr-(T)? OH 3´, 5´r-(T)?-OH 3´, 5´DMTr-(T)?-OH 3´and d 5´DMTr-GGAATTCC-OH 3´were purified by reverse phase HPLC. And 5´-DMTr group of homgeneous oligodeoxynucleotide was deprotected by 80% acetic acid solution.

        Membrane filtration process seems to have many advantages such as improvement of drinking water quality, saving water purification chemicals and operation cost, easier operation and maintenance and saving time and cost for construction of a water purification plant. A study was conducted to optimize the use of a membrane process to produce potable water from Lake water in singal, Kyungkido, South Korea. We try to optimize the process by adjusting different pretreatment, various MWCO(Molecular Weig염(salt), alignate와 같은 천연고분자 또는 ht cut-off), hydrauric conditions.

        This research is significant in terms of estimating the validity by setting evaluation items in view of integrating not only original beauty and visual areas but also natural ecological areas based on questionnaire. The results are as follows. 1) According to literature study, 17 items such as variety, the character of sites in terms of landscape, the beauty of landscape, visibility, and ratio of green visibility are selected. Also, 21 items such as variety of animals and plants species, size of green area, and ecological naturalness are selected m the area of landscape ecological resources. 2) As a result of questionnaire of the group of landscape experts, animals and plants ecological areas show 5.6341, the highest in importance analysis according to assessment areas. Also, as a result of importance analysis on items in each area, for example, in the area of visual resources, the item of skyline analysis is 6.0488, the highest. 3) As a result of corelation of item meaning on landscape effect assesment, for example, meaningness of psychological assessment item and landscape site item indicate 0.710, the highest coefficient correlation. 4) As critical assessment items per unit project, items such as damage minimization of original land features for project in terms of point, ratio of green visibility, variety of animals and plants species marked above 8.0 as high important medium. The project in terms of line, minimization of original land features, Preservation of worthy biotope showed high point and the character of sites in terms of landscape, minimization of original land features, the size of green area, and analysis of skyline marked above 8.5 as high importance points. On the contrary, items for climate and soil showed relatively low points.

        Ductile Fracture of Dual Pase Steel begins with void nucleation, at Martensite-Ferrite interface or deformed Martensite particle. In this study void nucleation, void growth, void volume fraction and void coalescence at given strain were studied in dual phase steel. Therefore, by means of the heat treatment of low corbon steel the study deal with void nucleation and void growth for ferrite grain sizeof dual phase steel. Void nucleaton and void growth with increasing strain are shown depend upon the ferrit grain size. The number of voids and volume fraction of voids generary increase as ferrite grain size decrease. At the close to fracture the void coalescence in the direction of the applied tensile stress, but near the fracture surface they linked in direction transverse to the tensile axis.

      • 화랑곡 나방의 성유인 물질인(Z, E)-9, 12-Tetradecadienyl Acetate의 입체 선택적 합성

        A stereoselective synthesis for the (Z, E)-9, 12-tetradecadienyl acetate, the sex pheromone of the Indian meal moth(Plodia interpunctella), was described. (E)-3-Pentenoic acid was prepared from malonic acid and propionaldehyde in the presence of triethanolamine as a catalyst. This acid was treated with lithium aluminiumhydride(LAH) to give (E)-3-Pentenol. This alcohol was tosylated with p-toluenesulfonyl chloride(p-TsCl), followed by bromination with lithium bromide(LiBr) to provide (E)-1-Bromo-3-Pentene. (E)-1-Bromo-3-pentene thus obtained was treated with triphenylphosphine(TPP) to furnish (E)-3-pentenetriphenylphosphonium bromide. And 9-acetoxy-1-nonanal was prepared by the pyridinium chlorochromate(PCC) oxidation of 9-acetoxy-1-nonanol, which in turn was obtained from the reaction of 1, 9-nonanediol and glacial acetic acid. Finally, (Z, E)-9, 12-tetradecadienyl acetate was afforded by Wittig reaction of (E)-3-pentenyltriphenylphosphonium bromide and 9-acetoxy-1-nonanal in the presence of K/hexamethylphosphrous triamide(HMPT).

        화학기상응축 공정으로 제조한 Fe 나노입자의 TEM 미세조직 및 결정화거동

        Iron and iron nitride nanoparticles were synthesized by chemical vapor condensation (CVC) process, using a precursor of Fe(CO)_(5) and carrier gas of NH₃. Phase change and crystallization behaviors of as received particles were mainly examined by TEM technique. Only α-Fe nanoparticles were formed at the lowest decomposition temperature of 500℃. As the temperature increased, the crystallization of α-Fe nanoparticles was suppressed and Fe₃N nanoparticles were begun to be formed. Finally full crystallization of Fe₃N was observed at 1000℃. Typical size of the α-Fe and Fe₃N particles was less than 30 nm in diameter.

      • 택시 운전기사들의 유병상태에 관한 조사 연구

        A questionnaire survey was conducted on 572 taxi drivers in Taejeon City to investigate the prevalence rate which was derived from the subjective symptoms of respondents according to the working condition and daily life effected on health. The disease were classified the cardiovascular disease, gastrointestinal disease, neurotic disease and musculoskeletal disease according to the subjetive symptoms. The results obtained were as follows : 1. Among the subjective symptoms. the complaint rate of latigability, eye strain, loss of appetite, irritability, dizziness on standing, stiffness on shoulder. and low back pain became decreased in that order. 2. The prevalence rates of cardiopulmonary and gastrointestinal disease were low in the old aged group, and the prevalence rates of all disease was proportional to the frequencies of accident experience. but no evident trend in job conditions. 3. The groups having regular meal time and rest after meal showed low prevalence rate in all disease. The sleeping time and smoking habit were related to the neurotic and cardiopulmonary disease. 4. The group of usual drug intake occupied 68% of all studied subjects, the age group of 40 or more and the group of having G-1 disease showed high rats of usual drug intake.

        This work researched the treatment characterization of paper mill waste water for Biological Aerated Filter (BAF)system. BAF process is ideal for reclamation and reuse of wastewater. It features excellent removal of organic matter and SS, Especially. it is easy maintain and achieves energe-saving and space-conservation when compared to conventionnal activated sludge method. This study resulted that upflow BAF system showed superior treatment efficiency to downflow one. The removal efficiencies of BOD, COD, SS were 85%, 80, 90%, respectively.

        A practical synthesis of cis-jasmone (9) from readily available levulinic, acid was described. Levulinic acid ethylene dithioacetal (3) was reacted with 2-mercaptopyridine in the presence of DCC and DMAP in dichloromethane to give S-(2-pyridyl)-4-ethylenedithiopentanethioate (4) in excellent yield. The compound (4) was then allowed to react with cis-3-hexenyl Grignard reagent to produce cis-undec-8-ene-2,5-dione monoethylenedithioacetal (7) in very high yield. Compound (7) when treated with CuCl₂/CuO in acetone afforded cis-undec-8-ene-2,5-dione (8) which was then cyclized under basic condition (NaOH/H₂O, ??) to cis-Jasmone (9) in 81% yield. Thus a very important fragrance compound cis-Jasmone was synthesized from levulinic acid by 5 steps in 63% overall yield.
