In order to investigate effects of krill on lipid components of liver and heart in cholesterol and cadmium-fed rats, male Sprague-Dawley rats were raised for 4 weeks with 8 experimental diets. Krill used in this experiment contained 65.4%(w/w) of protein and 16.7% of lipid. Krill contained 35% of polyunsaturated fatty acids and more unsaturated fatty acids than saturated fatty acids by 2 times. Amino acid content of krill was high in order of Glu, Asp, Tyr and Lys. Rats fed krill diet showed more food intake and weight gain compared with control group. However, food efficiency ratio and weight of liver and heart were not significantly different. The ingestion of cadmium resulted in a severe restriction in growth rate with normal or mild reduction of liver and heart weight. Cadmium also caused a significant decrease in food efficiency ratio. The contents of total and free cholesterol of liver and heart in rats fed krill diets were similar or slightly higher than those fed control diet. Dietary krill also showed no significant difference in liver and heart cholesterol levels in rats with cadmium ingestion. The contents of phospholipid and triglyceride in liver and heart of krill group were slightly higher than those of control group. Supplement of krill reduced triglyceride content of liver in rats ingested with cadmium without any effect on the level of phospholipid and heart lipids. The concentration of cadmium in plasma significantly increased with dietary krill. However, the krill supplement did not influence the concentration of cadmium in liver or heart. A significant accumulation of lipid in liver tissue was observed in all dietary groups but standard group. However, no difference in degree of lipid accumulation was found among the dietary groups. Necrosis and hemolysis of liver in all dietary groups were not shown.

자동차 허브 내·외경 측정 시스템 개발

An automobile hub is composed of a hollow cylindrical part with inner and outer diameters. These hub diameters must be precise, as any irregularities in them (diameters) can influence/degrade the motion of an automobile with this problem. Highly accurate and reliable hub inner and outer diameters measurement systems are therefore required for inspection of the diameters. In this research, an automobile hub inner and outer diameters measurement system has been developed and tested. The system consists of measuring heads with LVDT sensors, and associated software for automatic measurement and calibration of the diameters and the sensors respectively. The system has been evaluated in comparison with an existing measurement system, and the following outcomes have been achieved; ·Improved and guaranteed quality and reliability ·Increased productivity and cost reduction These results prove the system developed in this research to be suitable for automobile hub inspection.

소양호 동물성플랑크톤의 수직분포

본 연구는 소양호의 동물성 플랑크톤의 군집조사를 파악하기 위해 플랑크톤의 수직분포를 알아보았다. 조사기간은 1986년 3월부터 9월까지 실시하였다. 본 호수의 동물성 플랑크톤은 담수 초기에 출현된 종이 그대로 장착되고 있으나 식물성 플랑크톤은 종 및 밀도가 증가햐였으며 이는 수여고한경의 변화를 시사해 주고 있다. 개체군 밀도가 가장 높은 시기는 5월과 6월로 ㎥당 개체수가 40,000개에 달하고 가장 적은 시기는 3, 4월로 약 5,000개 정도 였다. 동물성 플랑크톤의 수직분포에서 정체기와 순화기때 서로 다른 양상을 보이는 종들로는 Keratella cochlearis, Therrnocycolps

한국산 구름버섯의 배양조건 및 수율

To find anti-tumor components from korean Basidiomycetes, the mycelium of Coriolus versicolor Fr. was grown in jar-fermentor culture and a proteinbound polysaccharide was isolated. The experimental results obtained are summarized as follows: The korean yeast extract for the production of crude polysaccharide and cell by the cultivation of jar-fermentor was more efficient than of foreign production. The addition of 1.5% yeast extract to culture medium promoted crude polysaccharide production but pH-control had no effect on cell growth and crude polysaccharide production.

A study on satisfaction of nurses for inventory assets management of medical supplies The purpose of this study is to suggest an dfficient method of inventory assets management of medical supplies. This study used the data of nurses who are working at national hospitals, university hospitals, medical corporations, and private hospitals. The data were used to get the understandings and satisfactions of the nurses about inventory assets management of medical supplies. The results are as follows ; 1. Understandings(p<0.001) and satisfactions(p<0.05) of the nurses about their works grow over ages. There was a difference between a big city and a smaller one and there were also differences in each position of the nurses(p<0.001). According to a multiple comparisons test, the higher their position, the higher understandings and satisfaction of their works. In a case of the office in a hospital, the satisfaction of hardworking nurses in an operation room or emergency room was low(p<0.05). In a case of their working years, there was some difference in understandings and satisfactions by the type of a hospital is a private hospital, a university hospital, a medical corporation, and a national hospital, although not having a statistic significance. In the scale of a hospital, understandings and satisfactions were over 500, 3001-499, below 300 rooms, orderly, but this result was not significant, too. 2. The status of inventory assets management of medical supplies was 301-499, over 500, below 300, orderly, and the order by the type of a hospital was a private hospital, a medical corporation, a national hospital, a university hospital without the statistic significance. 3. Satisfactions had a strong positive correlation with understandings like satisfactions and inventory assets management of medical supplies. As well, the correlation coefficient of understandings and inventory assets management of medical supplies was positive as 0.525. and all of them were significant statistically(p<0.01). 4. Both the status of inventory assets management of medical supplies and understanding were significant, and this result show that each of inventory assets management of medical supplies and understanding had an effect on satisfactions. 강체아령분자액체의 상태방정식

The equation of state of hard dumbbell molecular liquids is studied by using the equivalent hard sphere as the reference system on one hand and the equivalent hard disphere system on the other hand. For the equivalent hard sphere liquid, the equation of state is calculated by the well known Carnahan-Starling fitting function. And the Wertheim's formula recently proposed is used to obtain the equation of state of the hard disphere system. It is then shown that the hard disphere system is the better approximation to the hard dumbbell liquids, by comparing with the molecular dynamic simulation data, especially for the greater eccentricity of the molecule and for the higher packing fraction.

한국산 마의 영양성분 분석

Tubers of Korean yams were analyzed in proximate, amino acid and fatty acid compositions. The yams were composed of moisture (70.6-86.1%), protein (5.8-9.2%), crude fat (0.2-0.9%) and reducing sugar (0.7-2.9%). The pH and titratable acidity of yam juice were 6.0-6.3 and 0.9-1.1 ㎎%, respectively. Total amino acid contents of the yams were 21.2-26.9% comprising essential amino acids of 49.2-57.3%, and the major amino acids were glutamic acid (2.9-4.3%), arginine (3.0-4.2%) and aspartic acid (2.2-2.8%). Thirteen fatty acids were detected, and the major fatty acids were linoleic (42.2-49.4%), palmitic (25.5-27.8%) and oleic acid (4.7-13.7%).

It is important to detect and correct errors in the modern digital system. In this paper, we have designed error detector and corrector in the fault tolerant system. Error detector/corrector consists of data latch, syndrome generator, parity generator, parity checker, syndrome and error detection part and error correction part. In addition, error detectro/corrector have a latch over the data and check bit in order to synchronize system. The operation of error detector/corrector has been checked through the logic simulation.

This paper presents the design and implementation of a DSP interface between a rotary machine encoder and DSP The data transfer process has unique data format for harmonious communication between DSP and encoder. In DSP Interface confirm data format that transferred from DSP to encoder and received data. Also it detected occurrence of the error. In order to data detect, As DSP interface has CRC Block that generate promised data and it is possible to more stable communication and we get high data integrity.
