      • 경기지역 삼국시대 횡혈식석실묘의 구조특징과 축조주체 검토

        경기지역은 삼국이 모두 영유하였던 지역으로 삼국의 횡혈식석실묘가 공존하였고, 박장에 구조적 동질성이 강하여 축조주체 변별에 어려움이 많아 삼국의 고분문화 규명에 상당한 오류를 초래하였다. 그렇기에 경기지역 삼국시대 횡혈식석실묘 중 축조주체 귀속에 있어 재고의 여지가 있는 석실묘의 구조적 차이를 검토하여 축조주체를 명확히 하였다. 기존 축조주체 관련 연구성과와 더불어 입지와 석실의 평면형태, 규격성, 축조방법, 장법 등을 보다 면밀히 검토한 결과, 기존 연구에서 한성기 백제석실로 비정한 것은 고구려·신라와의 묘·장제 차이가 뚜렷하여 재론의 여지가 적은 반면, 신라 석실로 보고된 상당수 석실은 고구려 영역기에 조영된 것으로 파악되었다. 아울러 축조주체 논란이 지속되었던 가락동·방이동 고분군은 가락동 3호와 5호를 제외하고는 신라 석실임을 더욱 공고히 하게 되었다. 이 같은 연구결과를 통해 경기지역에 이식된 삼국의 고분문화가 더욱 선명해졌고, 고분을 통해 경기지역을 영유하였던 삼국의 지배양상과 사회구조를 구체화하는데 오류를 줄일 수 있을 것이라 기대된다. The Gyeonggi region was an area occupied and contested by all the Three Kingdoms of Silla, Goguryeo, and Baekje, thus the horizontal tombs of the Three Kingdoms coexist. Due to the lack of burial relics and strong structural homogeneity, however, there were considerable errors and difficulties in the identification of the tomb's origins. Therefore, the structural differences of each stone chamber tomb that had room for reconsideration were clarified among the horizontal stone chambers of the Three Kingdoms era in Gyeonggi. After a closer examination of the location and the floor plan, standard dimensions, construction method, and funeral methods of the stone chamber, along with the research findings related to the existing construction sites in previous studies, the difference between the Baekje stone chamber tombs and burial mounds of Goguryeo and Silla was clear, so there was little room for reconsideration. However, in Deokeun-dong in Goyang, Deoksori in Namyangju, Soha-dong No. 3 in Gwangmyeong, Seondong-ri Nos. 5 and 6 in Gwangju, Eobiri in Yongin, Ichiri No. 9 in Icheon, and Nos. Na-7 and 8 in Eumseong's Munchon-ri, many of the stone chambers previously reported as Silla stone chambers were found to have been built in the Goguryeo occupation time. In addition, the tombs in Garak-dong and Bangi-dong, where the controversy over who built them continued, further consolidated their status as Silla stone chamber tombs, except for Garak-dong Nos. 3 and 5. Through the results of studies such as this, cultures of the Three Kingdoms transplanted in the Gyeonggi region has become clearer, and it is expected that errors in estimating the governance pattern and social structure of each of the Three Kingdoms that had occupied the area through the tombs may be minimized.

      • 제주 서해 연근해 해역에서의 저서어족 생물 분포에 관한 연구

        본 연구는 제주 서해 연근해 해역에서의 저서 어족생물의 조성, 체장, 중량을 파악하기 위하여 2018년 10월 22일부터 10월 24일까지 총 3회의 트롤 조사를 실시하였다. 조사해역에서의 어족자원에 대한 종조성은 1회 조사에서 우점종은 아귀, 꼼치, 갈치순으로 나타났고, 2회 조사에서 우점종은 딱새우, 아귀, 원숭이게, 성대 순으로 나타났으며 3회 조사에서 우점종은 아귀, 살오징어, 성대 순으로 나타났다. 총 3회 조사에서 어획된 개체 수 기준으로 총 어획량은 아귀가 제1의 우점종으로 나타났으며 다음으로 딱새우, 살오징어 순으로 나타났다. 또한 트롤 조사에서 어획된 어족생물에 대한 체장별 크기는 151∼200 mm 사이에서 최대 어획량을 나타내고, 어획된 중량은 다양한 어종이 다수 어획되어 중량 변화의 폭이 컸으며 거의 대부분 101∼200 g 사이의 저서어족이 어획되었는데 아귀의 경우, 체장이 작은 미성숙어 어류도 다수 어획되었다. 제주 근해 해역의 어장들은 적도에서 발원하여 태평양 서안을 따라 대만 동쪽으로 올라온 난류가 대마도를 거쳐 동해로 유입되는 대마 난류의 길목에 위치하여 각종 어류들의 회유와 산란 및 서식지로서 어업이 활발한 좋은 어장으로 알려져 있다. 그러나 제주 서해 연근해 해역 어장의 경우, 다른 제주도 연근해 해역의 어장들에 비해 어획량이 적은 것으로 나타났는데(Kim. 2017), 이러한 원인으로는 하층에서 상층으로 해수가 이동하는 용승작용이나 저질에 따른 플랑크톤의 차이 등 여러 요인이 있을 수 있다. 따라서 제주도 인근 해역 어장들의 어획량 차이에 대한 원인은 저서어족 생물의 자원 보호뿐만 아니라 다른 우점종의 어족자원에 대한 효율적인 보호와 관리를 위해 지속적인 연구 조사가 필요할 것으로 판단된다. The primary goal of this study is to survey a fisheries resources in west coastal sea area of Jeju island. The method of trawl survey conduct to fishing survey through cod-end of trawl and its cover net. The surveys are carried out 2 days on 22-24<SUP>th</SUP> Oct. in 2018 by the training ship “Sae Dong Baek” of Chonnam National University. The total fish species caught by trawl net during 3 times survey for 2 days were 28 species. In the first superior was Lophiomus setigerus, 378(66%) the next Metanephrops thomsoni, 74(12.9%) the third Todarodes pacificus 14(2.4%). In individual numbers the most fish body length size caught by trawl net was between 150 mm and 200 mm. In individual numbers the least fish body length size caught by trawl net was between 51 mm and 100 mm. The fish weight size caught by trawl net was for the most part, over between 101 g and 200 g. The fish weight size caught by trawl net was for the least part, over between 5,001 g and 15,000 g. Fisheries resource has been decreasing for years and years. For many years fisheries researcher have debated its management and regulation. Much yet studies are necessary about the fisheries resources and regulation. The more fisheries resources must be preserved continually.

        Alterations of Epidermal Lipid Profiles and Skin Microbiome in Children With Atopic Dermatitis

        Purpose: We aimed to investigate epidermal lipid profiles and their association with skin microbiome compositions in children with atopic dermatitis (AD). Methods: Specimens were obtained by skin tape stripping from 27 children with AD and 18 healthy subjects matched for age and sex. Proteins and lipids of stratum corneum samples from nonlesional and lesional skin of AD patients and normal subjects were quantified by liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry. Skin microbiome profiles were analyzed using bacterial 16S rRNA sequencing. Results: Ceramides with nonhydroxy fatty acids (FAs) and C18 sphingosine as their sphingoid base (C18-NS-CERs) N-acylated with C16, C18 and C22 FAs, sphingomyelin (SM) N-acylated with C18 FAs, and lysophosphatidylcholine (LPC) with C16 FAs were increased in AD lesional skin compared to those in AD nonlesional skin and that of control subjects (all P < 0.01). SMs N-acylated with C16 FAs were increased in AD lesional skin compared to control subjects (P < 0.05). The ratio of NS-CERs with long-chain fatty acids (LCFAs) to short-chain fatty acids (SCFAs) (C24-32:C14-22), the ratio of LPC with LCFAs to SCFAs (C24-30:C16-22) as well as the ratio of total esterified omega-hydroxy ceramides to total NS-CERs were negatively correlated with transepidermal water loss (rho coefficients = −0.738, −0.528, and −0.489, respectively; all P < 0.001). The proportions of Firmicutes and Staphylococcus were positively correlated to SCFAs including NS ceramides (C14-22), SMs (C17-18), and LPCs (C16), while the proportions of Actinobacteria, Proteobacteria, Bacteroidetes, Corynebacterium, Enhydrobacteria, and Micrococcus were negatively correlated to these SCFAs. Conclusions: Our results suggest that pediatric AD skin shows aberrant lipid profiles, and these alterations are associated with skin microbial dysbiosis and cutaneous barrier dysfunction.

        Bifidobacterium longum and Galactooligosaccharide Improve Skin Barrier Dysfunction and Atopic Dermatitis-like Skin

        Purpose: The beneficial effects of a combination therapy using Bifidobacterium longum and galactooligosaccharide (GOS) for the treatment of atopic dermatitis (AD) have not been elucidated. Methods: Gene expressions of interleukin (IL)-4 and IL-13 from peripheral blood mononuclear cells and fecal abundance of B. longum from 12-month-old infants were evaluated. Human primary epidermal keratinocytes (HEKs) and hairless mice were treated with B. longum, GOS, B. longum-derived extracellular vesicles (BLEVs), dinitrochlorobenzene (DNCB), or a synbiotic mixture of B. longum and GOS. Expression of epidermal barrier proteins and cytokines as well as serum immunoglobulin E (IgE) levels were analyzed in HEKs and mice. Dermatitis scores, transepidermal water loss (TEWL), epidermal thickness, and fecal B. longum abundance were evaluated in mice. Results: Fecal abundance of B. longum was negatively correlated with blood IL-13 expression in infants. B. longum or BLEVs increased expression of filaggrin (FLG) and loricrin (LOR) in HEKs. B. longum increased the efficacy of GOS to upregulate FLG and LOR expressions in HEKs. Oral administration of GOS increased fecal abundance of B. longum in mice. Oral administration of B. longum attenuated DNCB-induced skin inflammation, abnormal TEWL, AD-like skin, and deficiency of epidermal barrier proteins. Moreover, the combination of B. longum and GOS showed greater effects to improve DNCB-induced skin inflammation, abnormal TEWL, AD-like skin, serum IgE levels, IL-4 over-expression, and the deficiency of epidermal barrier proteins than the administration of B. longum alone. Conclusions: B. longum and GOS improve DNCB-induced skin barrier dysfunction and AD-like skin.

        알코올 섭취가 경도인지장애의 치매 진행에 미치는 영향

        Objective:Patients with mild cognitive impairment (MCI) are at high risk for dementia. Excessive alcohol consumption is known to adversely affect cognitive function. This study aimed to investigate the relationship between alcohol consumption and the risk for dementia in a cohort of MCI patients. Methods:Participants (n=416) with (MCI) who met Petersen’s criteria were recruited from a nationwide, prospective cohort study of dementia and were followed for a median of 17.52 months (range 5.4-63.48). Alcohol consumption was evaluated at baseline. Results:One hundred twenty seven individuals (30.5%) developed incident dementia (115 Alzheimer disease) during follow-up. Patients with current alcohol consumption at baseline had a higher rate of progression to Alzheimer’s dementia than those without current alcohol consumption (hazard ratio 1.61 ; 95% confidence interval 1.03 to 2.53). Conclusion:Alcohol consumption may increase the risk of progression to Alzheimer’s dementia in patients with MCI.

        EGFR-Mediated Reactivation of MAPK Signaling Induces Acquired Resistance to GSK2118436 in BRAF V600E–Mutant NSCLC Cell Lines

        <P>Although treatment of BRAF V600E-mutant non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLCV600E) with GSK2118436 has shown an encouraging efficacy, most patients develop resistance. To investigate the mechanisms of acquired resistance to GSK2118436 in NSCLCV600E, we established GSK2118436-resistant (GSR) cells by exposing MV522 NSCLCV600E to increasing GSK2118436 concentrations. GSR cells displayed activated EGFR-RAS-CRAF signaling with upregulated EGFR ligands and sustained activation of ERK1/2, but not MEK1/2, in the presence of GSK2118436. Treatment of GSR cells with GSK2118436 enhanced EGFR-mediated RAS activity, leading to the formation of BRAF-CRAF dimers and transactivation of CRAF. Interestingly, sustained activation of ERK1/2 was partly dependent on receptor-interacting protein kinase-2 (RIP2) activity, but not on MEK1/2 activity. Combined BRAF and EGFR inhibition blocked reactivation of ERK signaling and improved efficacy in vitro and in vivo. Our findings support the evaluation of combined BRAF and EGFR inhibition in NSCLCV600E with acquired resistance to BRAF inhibitors. (C) 2016 AACR.</P>

        One-step synthesis of nano-porous monolithic polyimide aerogel

        <P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>A facile one-step method for synthesis of a porous monolithic polyimide aerogel was successfully developed. The specific thermal curing, slow desiccating process and swelling method were used in synthesizing monolithic polyimide aerogel without any additional chemical reaction to create a connected structure among the polyimide-based spherical aerogel microparticles. Using this method, the monolithic polyimide aerogel can be easily fabricated whilst using no additional chemicals for crosslinking. This type of polyimide aerogel was produced homogeneously by the polyimidization of pyromellitic dianhydride (PMDA) and 4,4′-oxydianiline (ODA). The synthesized porous monolithic polyimide aerogel has many good properties which could be used in various industries, as it maintained a high thermal decomposition temperature (10% weight decomposition temperature: T<SUB>d10%</SUB>) of approximately 577 °C and a glass transition temperature (T<SUB>g</SUB>) of 432 °C, with bulk density of 490.7 kg/m<SUP>3</SUP>, porosity of approximately 45% and average pore size of 4 nm (by nitrogen adsorption test) of polymer and 157 nm (by mercury intrusion method) of space observed in FE-SEM image. Also, the monolithic polyimide aerogel had an excellent oil-adsorbing capacity of 150%, and the adsorbed oil could be separated easily using a simple drying process. The dried monolithic polyimide aerogel showed significant recoverability and reusability of adsorbed oil. In addition, the monolithic polyimide aerogel exhibited high mechanical resistance such that the structure can withstand a high pressure greater than 122.3 kPa, under which the monolithic polyimide aerogel (MPA) was compressed but did not break. This type of MPA shows excellent thermal, mechanical properties and great processability, and could be the new candidate for high performance materials in various industries, especially catalyst field.</P> <P><B>Highlights</B></P> <P> <UL> <LI> Unlike other aerogel synthesis, in this study, the polyimide aerogel monolith is created without adding any other chemicals. </LI> <LI> The polyimide aerogel monolith has excellent thermal, mechanical properties and great processability for application in various industries. </LI> <LI> The polyimide aerogel monolith synthesized with homogeneity fully maintained in very convenient and easy method. </LI> </UL> </P> <P><B>Graphical abstract</B></P> <P>[DISPLAY OMISSION]</P>
