        1987년 헌법 개정과 이후 개헌 논의의 정치적 상관성

        본 논문은 1987년 제9차 헌법 개정 이후 단속적으로 이어져 온 개헌 논의 현상을 배경으로 하여, 제9차 헌법 개정의 역사적 맥락과 성격 및 특징을 분석하였으며, 이후 형성된 개헌 논의와의 정치적 상관성을 파악하기 위해 작성되었다. 역사적 연구방법론에 따라 1987년 개헌의 원인과 성격을 파악한 결과, 1987년 이후 형성된 제6공화국의 권력 구조는 6월 민주항쟁의 성과에 기인한 체제였음에도 불구하고 신군부의 정권재창출 시나리오가 반영되었을 뿐만 아니라 ‘3김’에게 정치적으로 최적화된 한계가 있음을 확인하였다. 따라서 제6공화국의 권력 구조는 신군부 정권의 연장과 야당 지도자들의 정치권력을 담보하려는 특성에 따라 이어져온 것으로 볼 수 있다. 이 같은 측면에서 향후 개헌 논의는 제6공화국 헌정 구조의 성격과 한계를 이해하고 해소하기 위한 방향에서 전개될 필요가 있다. 또한 시민사회의 적극적인 참여와 국민적 소통뿐만 아니라 미래지향적 민족 생존 및 국가 번영 전략이 새로운 개정 헌법에 반영되어야 할 것이다. This paper were analyzed historical context, characteristics of the ninth amendment of the Constitution In 1987 were analyzed. Also analyzed the content of the constitutional discussion and the discourse about future - oriented values. According to the historical research methodology, it attempted to identify the character according to the cause and background of formation of the constitutional amendment in 1987. As a result, the power structure of the 6th republic under the revised Constitution was attributed to the democratic uprising in June but it reflected scenario to regenerate the regime of the new military authorities and the limitations of the three Kims. Therefore, it can be seen that the 6th republic were fundamentally implied a temporary character created on the constitutional structure to internally accept the extension of the new military regime and the combined oligarchy of opposition leaders. In the future, the revised constitutional debate needs to be developed in order to understand and resolve the character and limitations of this period.

        비대면 시대의 한국어교육의 전망과 과제 -온라인 세종학당을 중심으로-

        This paper is a study on the prospects and challenges of Korean language education in the untact(non-face-to-face) era. The COVID-19 pandemic has boosted untact(non-face-to-face) online education. In the future, various types of combined curriculums will be developed and attempted in the field of Korean language education, taking advantage of offline and online education. In addition, along with the development of the edu-tech industry, Korean language education will also achieve great qualitative growth. In particular, the global spread of Korean language and Korean culture (Korean Wave) should be used as an opportunity for Korean language education to be revitalized. In order to achieve this, it is important to clearly recognize the ‘King Sejong Institute’ brand as a starting point for Korean education. Therefore, the establishment of King Sejong Institute and the dispatch of professional teachers should be continued, and a bold investment in the online King Sejong Institute should be made to overcome the limitations of the establishment of King Sejong Institute. It is necessary to strengthen the quality of Korean teachers and revitalize online platforms. By these means it is possible to secure the qualitative growth of Online and Offline Korean language education. (Kyung Hee Cyber University)

        Association Between Age and Sleep Quality: Findings From a Community Health Survey

        Background and Objective This study aimed to investigate the changes in sleep quality with increasing age and the effect of age on the components of the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI).Methods We used data from the Community Health Survey conducted by the Korea Center for Disease Control and Prevention in 2018. A total of 228340 participants in this nationwide survey. Sleep quality was assessed using the PSQI. Adults aged ≥ 19 years were divided into six age groups and one-way analysis of variance (one-way ANOVA) was used to compare the mean values of PSQI of each group. By comparing the scores for each PSQI component in those aged ≥ 65 years and < 65 years, we aimed to reveal the differences in special components according to age group.Results In total, 223334 respondents were included in the study. Based on a one-way ANOVA, the PSQI score generally increased with age. Although the average PSQI score of patients in their 40s was lower than that of patients in their 30s, there was no significant difference between the two groups (p = 0.11). When the PSQI component was compared between the population aged over and under 65 years, the population aged ≥ 65 years scored higher in most components. In contrast, daytime dysfunction scored higher in the population aged < 65 years.Conclusions Sleep quality tends to decrease with increasing age. Several factors, including physiological changes, underlying physical conditions, and psychosocial factors, may contribute to a decrease in sleep quality with age.

        Radiation from a Millimeter-Wave Rectangular Waveguide Slot Array Antenna Enclosed by a Von Karman Radome

        In this paper, electromagnetic radiation from a slot array antenna enclosed by a Von Karman radome is analyzed by using the ray tracing method and Huygens’s principle. We consider the rectangular slot array antenna and the Von Karman radome. The radiation patterns are calculated by using the surface currents of the radome to illustrate the electromagnetic behaviors of the radome-enclosed waveguide slot array antenna.

      • Development of a Gaze Fixation Identification Algorithm for Comparison of Performance of Gaze Fixation Induction Methods in Visual Field Testing

        Objective: The present study to evaluate an ergonomic gaze fixation induction method for gaze fixation during visual field testing developed and applied a gaze fixation identification algorithm to the gaze tracking data analysis. Background: Development of the gaze fixation identification algorithm is necessary to evaluate the degree of gaze fixation which is important for checking the reliabilities of visual field testing. Method: the present study investigated factors of gaze tracking data and developed an identification algorithm to identify gaze fixation. 32 men and women (29.0 ± 4.4 yr) participated in gaze fixation testing to evaluate three gaze fixation induction methods (black dot, flashing black dot, bulls eye and cross hair) in the aspects of correct fixation rate using gaze fixation identification algorithm. Results: It is necessary to analyze gaze location at 0.2 seconds intervals before and after target presenting for identify a gaze fixation in visual field testing. If one of two interval gaze trajectory is belong within visual angle 1° when the gaze tracking data analyzed in 0.2 seconds intervals before and after target presenting, the gaze fixation identification algorithm decide to fix the participant’s gaze to a fixation target when the target presents. Correct fixation rate of flashing black dot (91.5%) and bulls eye and cross hair (88.0%) are higher 5.5% and 1.5% than that of black dot (86.7%). Conclusion: The analysis using short interval gaze tracking data at before and after target presenting is more effective method in visual field testing for evaluating the degree of gaze fixation. Application: The gaze fixation identification algorithm is expected to be effectively used for monitor-based gaze tracking research.

        Torque Ripple Reduction of BLDC Traction Motor of Electric Wheelchair for Ride Comfort Improvement

        In this study, a method to reduce the torque ripple of brushless direct current (BLDC) traction motor which drives the electric wheelchair is discussed. As the main users of electric wheelchair are mobility handicapped people, it is important to decrease the speed ripple of the wheelchair for their comfort and safety and for this, reducing the torque ripple of traction motor can be a solution for this problem, because the fl uctuation of vehicle speed is aff ected by ripple of the driving torque, especially at lower speed. The waveforms of current and back electromotive force (EMF) of motor need to be considered because they determine the torque characteristics such as average value and ripple. After the current waveform of BLDC motor is calculated by simulation, back EMF waveform that reduces the torque ripple is determined as a trapezoidal form. The traction motor for electric wheelchair reducing torque ripple is designed by optimization process. The design parameter selected from the sensitivity analysis are optimized through kriging surrogate model. Finally, the back EMF waveform and the torque ripple of BLDC motor are verifi ed by conducting experiments.

        Optical see-through head-mounted display including transmittance-variable display for high visibility

        This paper presents an optical see-through head-mounted display (OST-HMD) that can provide a highly immersive augmented reality (AR) environment. Because visibility of objects is degraded by external light and because projection optics cannot represent black color, the reality of AR content is reduced. To solve this problem, we adopted an additional transparent display to adjust the transmittance of exterior light. This adjustment is achieved using a guest–host liquid crystal (GHLC) to provide transparency in the initial state and opacity when voltage is applied. To verify the display’s usefulness, we measured ambient contrast ratio (ACR) and color gamut under various ambient light conditions after attaching the GHLC panel to the existing OST-HMD (Microsoft HoloLens). Under typical office illumination, use of the GHLC panel increased the ACR by 4.67 times, and the color gamut by 2.87 times compared to the OST-HMD without it. Under high illumination the panel increased the ACR by 1.54 times and the color gamut by 16.16 times. The proposed method significantly improved the ambient contrast ratio and color expression, and yielded a flexible way to customize existing OST-HMDs by adding a detachable display.

        Beam Selection Algorithm Utilizing Fingerprint DB Based on User Types in UAV Support Systems

        The high-altitude and mobility characteristics of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) have made them a key element of new radio systems, particularly because they can exceed the limits of terrestrial networks. However, at high altitudes, UAVs can be significantly affected by intercell interference at a high line-of-sight probability. To mitigate this drawback, we propose an algorithm that selects the optimal beam to reduce interference and maximize transmission efficiency. The proposed algorithm comprises two steps: constructing a user-location-based fingerprint database according to the user types presented herein and cooperative beam selection. Simulations were conducted using cellular cooperative downlink systems for analyzing the performance of the proposed method, and the signal-to-interference-plus-noise cumulative distribution function and spectral efficiency cumulative distribution function were used as performance analysis indicators. Simulation results showed that the proposed algorithm could reduce the effect of interference and increase the performance of the desired signal. Moreover, the algorithm could efficiently reduce overheads and system cost by reducing the amount of resources required for information exchange.
