        분지각이 작고 일시 개화성이 우수한 숙근 안개초 ‘드림송’ 육성

        ‘Bristol Fairy’ 유래의 결실되는 아조변이체인 ‘Gyp99’의 실생계통으로 밝은 백색 겹꽃에 소화가 큰 ‘Gyp06-11’로부터 2008년 특성이 우수한 ‘Gyp08-2’ 계통을 선발하여 2009-2010년 2년 동안 특성평가 및 특성검정을 통해 ‘Dream Song’을 육성하였다. ‘Dream Song’의 초형은 직립형이고, 잎 모양은 피침형, 소화는 꽃잎수가 많고 암술이 2개인 백색겹꽃으로 꽃잎은 도란형, 꽃잎 끝 모양은 약간 둥근형, 꽃받침 모양은 컵형인 ‘Dream Song’ 고유의 특성을 가진다. 또한 소화의 일시개화성이 우수하고 절화수명이 매우 길며, 분지각이 작고 흰가루병에 강하고 총체벌레와 잎굴파리 등 충해에도 강해 재배적 가치가 높은 특성을 가진다. 준고냉지 여름절화 작형에서 ‘Dream Song’ 개화는 ‘Bristol Fairy’보다 17일 늦고 절간장과 화경장이 길었으며, 측지 분화가 많고 줄기가 굵었다. 또한 소화가 크고 야간 기온 22℃, 7일 이상의 고온조건에서도 기형화 발생이 없었다. ‘Dream Song’ is a cultivar of Gypsophila paniculata developed by the Jeollabuk-do Agricultural Research & Extension Services in 2010 for cut-flower production. This hybrid was bred from 121 seedlings collected from an open-pollinated population of ‘Gyp06-11’. It has novel morphological characteristics of upright plant type, lanceolate leaves, double florets with a few bright white-colored petals of obovate shape, truncate petal tips, and cup-shaped calyces. Furthermore ‘Dream Song’ has desirable cultivation characteristics including narrow branching angle, and moderate resistance to powdery mildew, thrips and leaf miners. Moreover it produces more primary branches, and longer internodes and flower stalks than reference cultivar ‘Bristol Fairy’ during summer cultivation in a subalpine area (500 m over the sea level). Flowering in ‘Dream Song’ is delayed by about 17 days as compared to ‘Bristol Fairy’. ‘Dream Song’ produces normal flowers with 2 pistils and an average of 10.4 stamens, with fewer malformed flowers than ‘Bristol Fairy’.

        In its modern sense, the word"democracy" is a relative newcomer to the language of politics. It is now in Universal use. Democracy in America was an inmediate success. The aim of research of THE STUDY OF WHITMAN, WALTER is going to approach analysis a deeply rooted original energy to which the American people long ago made a historic commitment (participation) for American democratic action. The heart, as the french say, has its truth as well as does mind. Whitman's "Leaves of Grass" was a landma가 in the history of American literature. "Leaves of Grass" is a collection of Poems that reflect the author's love of his country and his faity in American democratic ideal. "Leaves of Grass" is actually more than one book. During his lifetime it went through nine edition's between 1885 and 1892, and each had its own distinct virtues and faults. At the time of his death whitman was more repeated in Europe than in his own country. He did advocate greater sexual freedom and tolerance. Sex in his poems is also symbolical-of Rousseauistic innocence. Sex is spiritualized. His poetic "I" of "Leaves of Grass" annihilates time and space binding past and present and intviting the future, illustrating whitman's belief that poetry is a form of knowledge, the supreme wisdom of mankind. On the basis of his compassion for the weak and needly and affection for simple men, his first biograghers, with his encoruagement, Created the myth of a saintly Carpenter-poet, or poet messiah. The flowering of American literature was only one important aspect of the nation's cultural growth. It is no accident that WHITMAN, WALTER was one of U. These problems make a waterproofing material damage and concrete deck of bridge damage. So it needs a lot of money for repair and reinforcement work. Therefor the structure slab of using waterproofing material must have the performance to protect invasion of water. Also, concrete deck of bridge need a endurance permeability for the reduction repair payment.       • 都市 下水슬러지의 堆肥化에 關한 硏究

        Composting may be defined as a biochemical process in which microorganisms break down and convert solid organic matters into stable, humus like end products. The composting of municipal wastewater sludge has become an accepted technology as a means of sludge stabilization and resource recovery in recent years. Investigated in this study were the compostability of municipal sludge without the use of bulking agents, e.g., wood chips, tree barks, sow-dusts and rice-hulls ; relevant, influencing factors such as moisture contents, pH values, aeration rates, and volatile solid contents ; and process reaction rates. The sample sludges, obtained from Seoul Cheongye Sewage Treatment plant, were those digested and dewatered by mechanical means with the aid of lime and ferric chloride. The pH values, moisture contents, voltile solid contents and C/N ratios of the sample sludge ranged 10 to 12, 60 to 70%, 55 to 55% and 8 to 12, respectively. In this study, three, 35-liter reactors were used; the reactors were operated on batch basis for the duration of 8 to 12days. In order to maintain aerobic conditions and expect air drying effects, air was supplied to each reactor in the rates of 50-300 ℓ/㎥, main in the first half of experiments and fixed to 120ℓ/㎥. min in the second half. The mixture was mixed completely once a day by mechanical agitator. The results of this study follow; 1. The municipal sludge can be composted without the use of bulking agents. 2. The composting of the sole sludge without any additives can be carried out in reduced reaction periods 1 to 2 weeks. 3. The compost sludge can be used as both, the soil conditioner and low-nutrient fertilizer. It contained 35 to 40% moisture, 35 to 45% valatile solids, 1.9 to 2.2% nitrogen, 2.1 to 2.5% phosphorus and 0.18 to 0.22% potassium, and was 7.5 to 8.0 in pH values and 8 to 10 in C/N ratios. 4. The optimum pH values, aeration rates, and moisture contents were 7.5 to 8, approximately 120ℓ/㎥.min and 55 to 60%, respectively.

      • 불소화합물의 골육종 및 구강암 세포주에 대한 독성의 비교분석

        Fluorination of drinking water has been used world widely to reduce the incidence of caries. Recently, contradictory results on the cytotoxicity of fluoride compounds are reported. In addition, there are attempts to use fluorosilicate for fuorination of drinking water in Korea, therefore, we tried to analyze the cytotoxicity of fluoride compounds on oral epidermoid carcinoma (KB and A253) and osteosarcoma (HOS and MG-63) cells in this study. We treated cells with 0, 10, 50 and 250 ppm of fluorosilicic acid (domestic or from Fluka, F_(6)H₂Si), sodium fluorosilicate (F_(5)Na₂Si), sodium fluoroacetate (FCH2CO2Na), sodium fluoride (NaF) or potassium fluoride (KF) and measured the relative cell survival by Mn' assay. At the concentration of C 10 ppm, no significant cytotoxicity was observed. At 50 ppm, each cells revealed different response to fluoride treatment. Among cells used in this study, MG-63 was the most resistant to fluoride treatment. Comparable toxicity data from domestic and imported fluorosilicic acids were obtained. When we compared the relative cytotoxicity of fluoride compounds against their fluoride contents, the differences in relative cell survival were smaller. Most of cells showed C 20% of survival at 250 ppm. In order to analyze the pH dependence of the cytotoxicity of fluorosilicates, the pH of cell culture media containing fluorosilicate was adjusted to 7.4 or 6.5 and the relative cytotoxicity was measured. At lower pH, about 10% higher cytotoxicity was obtained. Thus, our data suggested that the toxicity of domestic fluorosilicic acid was sirnilar to that of fluorosilicic acid from Fluka, and the cytotoxicity of fluoride compounds was dependent an the relative content of fluoride and pH.

        초음파 펄스에코 신호의 3차원 처리

        비파괴 시험을 위한 3차원 구조의 초음파 영상에는 다양한 결함을 명백하게 보여줄 수 있을 만큼 상세하고 쉽게 알아볼 수 있는 정보가 제공되어야 한다. 수년 동안 원자력 발전소에서 사용된 금속관에 발견되는 소규모의 균열은 전형적인 결함들인데, 이러한 밀리미터 이하의 균열이나 결함은 최종 3차원 영상에서 묘사되어야만 의미있는 검사가 될 것이다. 향상된 선명도와 그에 따른 결함의 발견 과정의 한 단계로써, 펄스에코(pulse-echo) 초음파를 사용한 3차원 영상제작 기술을 제안한다. 이 기술은 필요한 스캐닝과 펄스에코 데이터의 처리과정을 통한 검사로 3차원 물체의 3차원 영상을 생성하는데, 2차원 위너필터(Wiener filter)에 의해 초음파 빔을 선명하게 하는 기술을 포함한다. 제안하는 위너필터는 빔의 전달에서 펄스에코 데이터를 초음파 빔 방향의 수직방향에 따라 필터링한다. 이 3차윈 처리과정은 결함의 선명성을 증진시키고 사용자에게 3차윈 구조물의 좌우 회전 및 축 회전과 같은 조작 능력을 제공한다. 이러한 조작 능력은 3차원에서 다양한 결함들의 크기와 위치의 분명한 묘사를 가능하게 한다. Infrasonic imaging of 3-D structures for nondestructive evaluation must provide readily recognizable images with enough details to clearly show various flaws that may or may not be present. Typical flaws that need to be detected are miniature cracks, for instance, in metal pipes having aged over years of operation in nuclear power plants; and these sub-millimeter cracks or flaws must be depicted in the final 3-D image for a meaningful evaluation. As a step towards improving conspicuity and thus detection of flaws, we propose a pulse-echo ultrasonic imaging technique to generate various 3-D views of the 3-D object under evaluation through strategic scanning and processing of the pulse-echo data. We employ a 2-D Wiener filter that filters the pulse-echo data along the plane orthogonal to the beam propagation so that ultrasonic beams can be sharpened. This three-dimensional processing and display coupled with 3-D manipulation capabilities by which users are able to pan and rotate the 3-D structure improve conspicuity of flaws. Providing such manipulation operations allow a clear depiction of the size and the location of various flaws in 3-D.

      • 태아 피부 에크린한선의 발육에 관한 전자현미경적 연구

        To observe the developing process of human fetal eccrine sweat gland during the intrauterine life, an electron microscopic study was carried out based on 12 fetuses ranging from 20 to 42 weeks of gestation. These fetuses were the products of induced deliveries found to have not associated disease or congenital anomalies at the autopsy. Following observations were made. The various types of cell consisting coiled portion of eccrine sweat gland were recognized at the 20th weed of gestation and they were clear cells, undifferentiated dard cells, myoepithelial cells. clear cells were located in central central portion and dark or myoepithelial cells were in peripheral portion. While undifferentiated dark cells were randomly distributed in the straight portion of eccrine sweat gland. The differential points between clear cell and undifferentiated dark cell were its round nucleus and glycogen contents. Marked hydropic changes of clear cells were noted at the 30th week of gestation. Secretory granules were noted at the 31st week of gestation. Secretory cells in the coiled portion of eccrine sweat gland was not fully mature until the 42nd week of gestation. Clear cells showed clear cytoplasm, abundant free ribosomes and scanty organelles. Undifferentiated dark cells showed many mitochondria and few glycogen. Secretory granules were rarely seen. Myoepithelial cells showed a few mitochondria, glycogen and microfilaments. Among three portions of eccrine gland, duct lumen in the acral and coiled portion were formed through the intracellular canaliculus and in the straight portion were made through the intercellular canaliculus. The main basic morphological mechanism of the lumen formation were microvesicle formation and pinched off phenomenon.

      • 경도 및 중등도 근시환자에서 PRK 후 교정법에 따른 인공수정체 도수 비교

        To compare IOL powers which are calculated by post-op keratometric(K) values and refraction derived K values, and by refraction corrected method, respectively, in patients who have been treated with excimer laser photorefractive keratectomy(PRK) for mild to moderate myopia. A total of 38 consecutive eyes of 23 patients who were treated with PRK for mild to moderate myopia have been followed up for more than 6 months. IOL powers from SRK/T formula by post-op K values and refraction derived K values were compared with IOL powers by refraction corrected method. The mean values of IOL powers using post-op K values, refraction derived K values, and refraction corrected method were 20.69±0.93(18.21 to 22.93) diopter(D), 20.81±0.88 D(18.60 to 22.43), and 21.26±0.79 D(19.08 to 23.03) respectively. There was no significant statistical difference between the mean values of IOL powers using post-op K values and refration derived K values (p〉0.05). However, the mean value of IOL powers by refraction corrected method was statistically higher than other two values(p〈0.05). In patients with excimer laser PRK treatment for mild to moderate myopia, IOL power using refraction corrected method was statistically higher than IOL power using post-operative K values and refraction derived K values.

      • 간호전문대학 재학생과 졸업생의 학사학위 취득 프로그램에 대한 요구도 조사

        All of the education system is pointing toward the open education, the continuing education and the life long education all over the world. Among our nursing education institutes is being discussed the intensive major course and the credit bank system for nursing college graduates as central themes, in addition to the RN-BSN(Registered Nurse-Bachelor of Science in Nursing) being operated at present. The purpose of this study is to investigate the needs on bachelor's degree program of nursing students and graduates in junior college. This research was designed as a descriptive study by method of questionnaire. Data were collected for three months from September 10 to November 30, 2002. Subjects were 504 nursing college students and 215 nurses in working at five hospitals and four public health centers in the capital and its suburbs and country. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS 8.0 program. According to the results of study, the needs on BSN of students(60.l%) and graduates(93.0%) were high. But only 19.1% of graduates received bachelor's degree. The degree of participation in the continuing education such as in service training program was 90.1%. It happened that most of students and graduates wanted to continue their education through the intensive major course. Especially graduates to choose continuing education demanded to include contents that they can supplement to the insufficient and use at their job.
