        조혈모세포이식 환자에서 발생한 Cytomegalovirus 질환의 특징 : 일개 대학변원에서 최근 10년간의 경험

        Background : Studies on cytomegalovirus (CMV) diseases in Korean hematopoietic stem cell transplant (HSCT) recipients are lacking and do not reflect the recent trends of advances and changes. Therefore, we tried to analyze the clinical features of CMV diseases in HSCT recipients over the past 10 years at a tertiary university hospital in Korea. Methods : Retrospective review of medical records was done for all adult HSCT patients who received transplant at the Catholic HSCT Center from January 1998 to January 2008. Results : Forty-four cases (2.2%) of CMV diseases were identified. CMV pneumonia was diagnosed in 17 patients, retinitis in 16 patients, enterocolitis in 7 patients, esophagitis 1 patient, gastritis in 1 patient, duodenitis in 1 patient, and hepatitis in 1 patient. The median onset of symptom was 90 days after transplantation. Late CMV diseases accounted for 47.7%. CMV related death varied from 0 to 58.8% according to the involved organ. CMV retinitis was diagnosed relatively later in the course of transplantation mostly in patients who had chronic graft versus host disease (GVHD). On the contrary, CMV enterocolitis mainly occurred in patients who suffered from acute GVHD. The overall concurrent CMV reactivation was documented to be 63.6%: the concurrent CMV reactivation was observed only in 37.5% of patients with retinitis. Conclusions : We observed some differences in the pattern of CMV disease manifestation according to the involved organ and reconfirmed the fact that CMV pneumonia is the most common and fatal disease in HSCT recipients. Additionally, CMV retinitis was not uncommon in HSCT recipients. Since specific marker does not exist in predicting retinitis, regular ocular examination should be done thoroughly, especially in patients with chronic GVHD.

        동강의 어류상과 생태학적 군집분석

        2006년 5월부터 2007년 5월까지 동강의 어류상과 생태학적 군집분석을 조사한 결과는 다음과 같다. 조사된 어종은 총 10과 31종이었다. 총 31종의 어종 중 일차담수어가 26종, 주연성 담수어가 5종으로 나타나 일차담수어의 구성비가 매우 높았다. 우점종은 참갈겨니(Zacco koreanus) 55.73%, 아우점종은 쉬리(Coreoleuciscus splendidus) 7.15%였으며, 우세종은 배가시리(Microphysogobio longidorsalis) 6.12%, 어름치(Hemibarbus mylodon) 4.87%, 참종개(Iksookimia koreensis) 4.49% 등이었다. 한국고유종은 묵납자루(Acheilognathus signifer), 줄납자루(A. yamatsutae), 가는돌고기(Pseudopungtungia tenuicorpus), 쉬리(C. splendidus), 긴몰개(Squalidus gracilis majimae) 그리고 어름치(H. mylodon) 등 19종(61.29%)으로 고유종의 빈도가 매우 높았으며, 천연기념물이 1종, 환경부지정 멸종위기 야생동물 II급 종이 5종으로 각각 확인되었다. 예상되는 종수(기대종)의 분석 결과, 동강의 전 조사지점에서는 18(지점 4, 5)∼22종(지점 3)이 서식하고 있을 것으로 나타났으며, 유사도 분석은 62.28%(지점 1과 2)∼84.13%(지점 1과 5)의 범위로 나타났다. 따라서 동강유역은 어류가 서식하기에 매우 적합한 수환경을 유지하고 있으며, 각 조사지점별 수환경도 매우 유사한 것으로 판단된다. The ichthyofauna and ecological community analysis in the Dong River, Korea, were investigated from May, 2006 to May, 2007. During the surveyed period, 31 species belonging 9 families were collected. Total of 31 species(primary freshwater: 26 species, peripheral freshwater: 5 species) were found with the primary freshwater fishes being highest. Dominant species was Zacco koreanus(55.73%), and subdominant species was Coreoleuciscus splendidus(7.15%). Also, Microphysogobio longidorsalis (6.12%), Hemibarbus mylodon(4.87%), Iksookimia koreensis(4.49%) were numerous. There were 19 Korean endemic species(61.29%), including Acheilognathus signifer, A. yamatsutae, Pseudopungtungia tenuicorpus, C. splendidus, Squalidus gracilis majimae, H. mylodon. Among them, 1 species was identified as qualifying for possible desigantion as a natural monument catergory, and 5 species were identified for designation required to protect under a wildlife category. As result of expected number of species according to rarefaction curve, the expected species of the Dong-river ranged from 19(St. 4, 5) to 22(St. 3) and result of similarity analysis ranged from 62.28%(St. 1 and 2) to 84.13%(St. 1 and 5). In conclusions, we could define that the Dong-river has a very good water conditions as habitat of fish, and habitat conditions also are very similar in every survey sites.

        The diagnostic requirements were suggested and explained regarding the systems of differentiation of symptoms and signs in the second year study of standardization and unification of the terms and conditions used for diagnosis in oriental medicine. The systems were as follows; - differential diagnosis according to condition of body fluid, differentiation of syndromes according to the state of qi and blood, differential diagnosis according to relative excessiveness or deficiency of yin and yang(氣血陰陽津液辨證) - differentiation of diseases according to pathological changes of the viscera and their interrelation - analyzing and differentiating of febrile diseases in accordance with the theory of the six channels(傷寒辨證) The individual diagnosis pattern was arranged by the diagnostic requirements in the following order : another name(異名), notion of diagnosis pattern, index of differentiation of symptoms and signs(辨證指標), the main point of diagnosis, analysis of diagnosis pattern(證候分析), discrimination of diagnosis pattern(證候鑑別), a way of curing a diseases(治法), prescription(處方), herb in common use(常用藥物), diseases appearing the diagnosis pattern(常見疾病), documents(文獻調査). This study was carried out on the basis of the Chinese documents and references.

      • Benzene에 의해 오염된 물의 鹽素處理에 의한 鹽素化合物의 生成에 關한 硏究

        This paper describes the production of the second pollution materials possibly produced during the water purification of water contaminated by various inorganic compounds. The effect of the reaction conditions such as the concentration of benzene and remaining chloride, temperature, pH as well as the addition of heavy metal on the production of chlorobenzenes has been investigated. It was confirmed from the results of quantitative and qualitative analyses of products that mono- and dichlorobenzenes, which smelled offensively and were harmful to human body, were created by chlorination of benzene containing water. The production of chlorobenzene was always observed when the concentration of benzene and remaining chloride was higher than 0.1 mg/ℓand 1 mg/ℓ, respectively. The amount of chlorobenzene increased with the reaction temperature and the concentration of reactants. The production of dichlorobenzene was largely dependent on the reaction temperature and the pH of reactant. When the pH of reactant was 2, an appreciable amount of 1.4-dichlorobenzene was produced. However, it decreased rapidly with the pH of reactant and completely disappeared at pH 4. There was no chlorobenzene produced at higher than pH 10. The concentration of chlorobenzene increased by the addition of Al and Fe.

      • 전기발광소자에서 프탈로시안 카퍼의 역할

        Interfacial properties of electrode and organic thin layer is one of the most important factor in performing a light emitting diodes(LED). Phthalocyanine copper was used as a buffer layer to improve interface characteristic, so that device efficiency was improved. In this study, LEDs were fabricated as like structures of ITO / N,N' - diphenyl - N,N' - di(m-tolyl) - benzidine(TPD) / 8-Hydroxyquinoline aluminum(Alq) / Al and ITO / N,N'- diphenyl - N,N' - di(m-tolyl) - benzidine(TPD) / 2- (4-biphenylyl) - 5(4-tert-butyl-phenyl) -1,3,4 -oxadiazole(PBD) / Al. In these devices, CuPC was layered at electrode/organic layer interface. As position is changing and thickness is changing, devices showed different phenomena respectively. We showed in this study that luminescence efficiency was improved with CuPC layer in LEDs. Characteristic of CuPC will be discussed with I-V curve, EL.

      • 하수 방류수 살균소독을 위한 무전극 UV Lamp의 개발

        하수방류수 살균소독에 이용되는 UV 램프를 기존의 전극용보다 효율을 높이고 수명이 긴 무전극 UV 램프를 제작하고 그 성능을 알아보았다. 우선 활성물질을 변화시키면서 제조한 램프의 UV강도 및 온도의 변화를 살펴보았다. 그 결과 활성물질이 Hg/Ind의 무게비 95/5로 만든 램프를 250분간 운전한 결과 UV 강도 300 mW/㎤ 및 표면온도 200-250 ℃로 가장 안정적인 결과를 가져왔다. 그러나 무전극 램프를 장시간 발광시켰을 경우 램프의 표면온도가 상승하기 때문에 실제 하수처리공정에 사용하기 위하여 냉각이 가능한 이중관 형태로 제작하여 UV강도와 온도 변화특성도 알아보았다. 또한 제작된 무전극 UV lamp를 하수 방류수의 살균소독을 위하여 대장균(E-coli.)으로 실험한 결과 99.9% 이상의 살균효율을 보였다.

        The experimental binodal curve and tie line data were determined for ternary systems of 2-propanol-water with isoamylacetate and 1-butanol as solvents at 25℃. Consistency of the experimental data for several correlations was investigated, the experimental tie line data were correlated with NRTL model and the parameters in NRTL model were estimated and the calculated values of tie lines were predicted.

      • 칼라영상 입 ·출력 시스템의 칼라보정 알고리듬에 관한 고찰

        Colors reprodued by color image processing system are affected by various physical factors and environmental conditions. Therefore it is difficult to reproduce the original object color accurately. Thus color calibrations of the input and output data of color image processing system based on spectral distributions are required. We propose a color calibration algorithm by considering spectral characteristic of the chosen color reproduction system which can be applied to device independent color reproduction using characteristic vectors of surface reflectance. The method comprised of two steps. The first step is color analysis step which reproduces the original object color from the camera output using color characteristic vectors. The second step is color synthesis step which displays the original color accurately on the monitor by considering the monitor's phosphor spectra. The spectral responsivities of camera sensors and phosphor spectral characteristics of a given monitor are evaluated. Also, to evaluate color reproducing characteristic we applied the proposed color calibration algorithm by choosing Macbeth ColorChecker's twenty four color spectra as a test color set. As a result, we reconstruct the actual color very closely on monitor using the proposed color calibration algorithm.
