        한국형 틸팅열차 운행 중 운전 모드에 따른 고조파 분석 및 평가에 관한 연구

        Recently, the new Korean Tilting Train Express(TTX) which maintains a speed on the curve railway line is developed. Electric railways, including the TTX, have electrical problems that could bring about serious accidents. For such reasons, the electric railway's electrical problems, electrical harmonic and others, have been studied briskly. Thus, TTX's electrical problems also need leading studies because the new Korean TTX will operate earnestly in 2012. The results could be used hereafter diagnosis of it's components and train conditions. In the paper, electrical signals in TTX operation were measured to analyze electrical harmonic. In addition, after the electrical signals were measured to operating mode (coasting mode, acceleration mode and regenerative breaking mode) respectively in test section(Ho-nam line, Chung-buk line, Jung-ang line and Tae-baek line). The electrical harmonics considered operating modes triparted were analysed and evaluated.

      • Changes in Plasma Prolactin and Growth Hormone Level and Visual Problem after Radiation Therapy of Pituitary Adenoma

        Twenty-four cases of pituitary adenoma, 13 males and 11 females with the age ranging from 11 to 65 years, received radiation therapy (RT) on the pituitary area with a 6 MV linear accelerator during past 25 months at the Division of Radiation Therapy, Kang-Nam St. Mary's Hospital, Catholic Medical College. Of 24 cases of RT, 20 were postoperative and 4 primary. To evaluate the effect of RT, we analyzed the alteration of the endocrinologic tests (prolactin, growth homme), neurologic abnormalities, major clinical symptoms, endocrinologic changes and improvement in visual problems after RT.

        한국인 직무 스트레스 측정도구의 개발 및 표준화

        Background and Purposes: Over the past three decades, numerous studies performed in Korea have reported that job stress is a determinant risk factor for chronic diseases and work disability. Every society has its own culture and occupational climate particular to their organizations, and hence experiences different occupational stress. An occupational stress measurement tool therefore needs to be developed to estimate it objectively. The purpose of this study is to develop and standardize the Korean Occupational Stress Scale (KOSS) which is considered to be unique and specific occupational stressors in Korean employees. Subjects and Methods: Data were obtained from the National Study for Development and Standardization of Occupational Stress (NSDSOS Project: 2002-2004). A total of 12,631 employees from a nationwide sample proportional to the Korean Standard Industrial Classification and the Korean Standard Occupational Classification were administered. The KOSS was developed for 2 years (2002-2004). In the first year, we collected 255 items from the most popular job stress measurement tools such as JCQ, ERI, NIOSH and OSI, and 44 items derived from the a qualitative study (depth interview). Forty-three items of KOSS, in the second year, were retained for use in the final version of the KOSS by using Delphi and factor analysis. Items were scored using conventional 1-2-3-4 Likert scores for the response categories. Results: We developed eight subscales by using factor analysis and validation process: physical environment (3 items), job demand (8 items), insufficient job control (5 items), interpersonal conflict (4 items), job insecurity (6 items), organizational system (7 items), lack of reward (6 items), and occupational climate (4 items). Together they explained 50.0% of total variance. Internal consistency alpha scores were ranged from 0.51 to 0.82. Twenty-four items of the short form of the KOSS (KOSS-SF) were also developed to estimate job stress in the work setting. Because the levels of the subscales of occupational stress were gender dependent, gender-specific standard norms for both the 43-item full version and the 24-item short form using a quartile for the subscales of KOSS were presented. Conclusion: The results of this study suggest that KOSS might be an appropriate measurement scale to estimate occupational stress of Korean employees. Further and more detailed study needs to be conducted to improve the validity of this scale.

        Effects of Herbal Extracts Used in Oriental Medicines on Heme Oxygenase-1 Expression

        Effects of twenty-three aqueous herbal extracts used in oriental medicines on heme oxygenase (HO)-1 expression were estimated in a mouse hippocampal cell line, HT22. HO-1 is one of the cytoprotective enzymes activated various stimuli, and Western blot analysis was used for evaluated HO-1 expression. Six aqueous extracts such as Rhei Rhizoma, Paeoniae Radix, Uncariae Ramulus et Uncus, Theae Folium, Prunellae Spica, and Coptidis Rhizoma significantly increased HO-1 expression in HT22 cells at the concentration of 300 ${\mu}$g/ml. In Addition, four aqueous extracts including Eucommiae Cortex, Moutan Cortex Radicis, Ginseng Radix Rubra, and Scutellariae Radix moderately increased HO-1 expression. These results would be usefulfor the isolation and identification of their neuroprotective principles.

      • Sauchinone Suppresses Pro-inflammatory Mediators by Inducing Heme Oxygenase-1 in RAW264.7 Macrophages

        <P>Sauchinone, a biologically active lignan isolated from the roots of <I>Saururus chinensis</I> (L<SMALL>OUR</SMALL>.) B<SMALL>AILL</SMALL>. (Saururaceae), is reported to exert a variety of biological activities, such as hepatoprotective, anti-inflammatory actions and inhibitory effects on bone resorption. In this study, we investigated the effect of sauchinone in suppressing cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) and inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS) expression, leading to a reduction in COX-2-derived prostaglandin E<SUB>2</SUB> (PGE<SUB>2</SUB>) and iNOS-derived nitric oxide (NO) production in lipopolysaccharide (LPS) stimulated RAW264.7 macrophages. Present study also demonstrates the effects of sauchinone in inducing heme oxygenase-1 (HO-1) expression and an increase in heme oxygenase (HO) activity in RAW264.7 macrophages. The effects of sauchinone on LPS-induced PGE<SUB>2</SUB>, NO, tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) and interlukine-1β (IL-1β) production were partially reversed by the HO-1 inhibitor Tin protoporphyrin was also seen in this study. In addition, we found that treatment with extracellular signal-regulated kinase (ERK) inhibitor (PD98059) reduced sauchinone-induced HO-1 expression. Sauchinone also increased ERK phosphorylation. These results suggest that sauchinone inhibits pro-inflammatory mediators through expression of anti-inflammatory HO-1 <I>via</I> ERK pathway.</P>

      • 마이크로 모빌리티 네트워크에서의 안전한 멀티캐스트

        To reduce the control message overhead due to frequent handoffs in mobile IP, micro-mobility protocols have been proposed. In this paper we present an approach for providing secure multicasting services in micro-mobility environments. We first introduce a multicast routing protocol in a micro-mobility environment and then present protocols to add security services to the bare multicasting. The proposed multicast routing protocol builds a shared multicast tree and does not assume any unicast micro-mobility protocols. The added security services include authentication, authorization, confidentiality, and integrity and are based on both symmetric and asymmetric cryptosystems. The security protocols also use key hierarchy mechanism in a paging area to efficiently handle frequent group membership changes and handoffs.

        촉매량의 Pd(0)존재하의 chiral allylic 그리고 dienylic 고리 카보네이트와 여러 가지 친핵성 치환체들의 치환 반응을 연구하였는데 이 치환 반응은 친핵체에 따라서 α-, γ-, 또는 ε-위치에 치환된 높은 위치 및 diastereoselection이 있는 반응임을 알았고 또한 이의 입체화학을 결정하였다. We studied the reactions of chiral allylic and dienylic cyclic carbonates with various nucleophiles in the presence of Pd(0)catalyst and found that substitution occurred at α-, γ-, ε-position with high regio-and diasteroselectirity depending on nucleophiles used.

      • 만성 근골격계 환자에서 Prolotherapy시 고농도 포도당용액에 첨가한 Sarapin^(®)의 효과

        Background: Musculoskeletal injury is a major cause of chronic pain due to a weakness of the tendons and ligaments. Currently, prolotherapy is used for treating chronic pain by strengthening the tendons and ligaments. This study was designed to evaluate the effects of prolotherapy using Sarapin^(®) in patients with chronic musculoskeletal diseases. Methods: Forty, chronic musculoskeletal disease patients were randomly divided into two groups. Group 1 (N=20) had been treated with a 15% dextrose solution, 0.2% lidocaine. Group 2 (N=20) had been treated with a 15% dextrose solution, 0.2% lidocaine and 25% Sarapin^(®). The VAS (visual analogue scales) were measured before the injection and two months after the injection. Incidence of side effect and complication were checked too. Results: Both groups showed that a post-prolotherapy VAS was significantly reduced compared to the pre-prolotherapy VAS in 80%, 85% but there was no significant difference. Side effect and complication were not significant difference between both groups such as dizziness during injection, new pain development, and a hematoma except pain after the injection. Conclusions: These results show that prolotherapy using Sarapin^(®) is another good method for treating chronic musculoskeletal diseases.

        농촌지역 노거수의 생장활력도와 주변환경에 대한 평가(1) : 진주시 지역을 중심으로

        본 연구는 농촌의 도시화와 생활환경 개선으로 도로변, 마을입구 등 생육환경의 인위적 피해가 많은 노거수의 지속적인 생장과 관리대책을 수립하기 위하여 느티나무 16주, 팽나무 4주를 대상으로 하였다. 조사된 대부분의 노거수가 정상적인 생육을 하지 못하고 있었는데, 생육점수 4.0이상인 노거수가 4주로서 양호한 생육을 하고 있었고 생육점수 3.0 이상인 노거수는 12주로서 쇠퇴가 급속히 일어나고 있었으며, 3.0 이하인 회복이 불가능한 노거수도 4주였다. 정상생육의 저해요인은 수령에 따른 생리적원인 뿐만아니라도로, 바닥 포장, 옹벽 설치 등에 의한 뿌리의 생장둔화와 수분결핍 등으로 가지, 줄기 고사, 가지와 잎의 밀도가 적어지는 등의 증상이 나타나고 결국은 나무전체가 고사하고 있었다. 연륜분석결과 대체적으로 연륜의 생장둔화현상이 70년대 중반 이후 뚜렷하여 지속적인 유지를 위해서는 위해요인을 제거하는 등 개선책이 요구된다. 특히 노거수에 대한 종합적인 연구결과뿐만아니라 수령, 정부지원, 노거수지정 등에 대한 장기적인 정책수립이 요구되고 노거수를 자연자원으로 관리하고 지속적인 생장을 위해서는 후계목 조성등의 대책이 요구된다. This study was carried out to survey the state of growth. sustainable management, and improved plans of 20 old trees of rural region in Jinju, Gyeongsanamdo province. 16 of them are Zelkova serrata, and 4, Celtis sinensis. And they stand on rodesides, entrances of village, ridges and edgeways of farmland. These trees are influenced by human activities, and vehicles. Most of them are in irregular growing states ; 4 of them area over 4.0 in growning scaled, 12 trees belong to 3.0 ~ 4.0, and the rests appear to be under 3.0. The injury factor of regular growth include physical deficiencies of each species and more or less envitonmental factors like, air and soil pollution, trampling by road and tress are floor pavement, retaining wall can affect tree roots,leaves and buds ets. The decline distinctive features of old trees are found in various parts of trees, and of twig, branchs, leaves have decreased, eventually are dying. A according to the ring analysis, since 1970’s, old trees have suffered from increased ground compression and water deficiency. Tree-ring widths decreased to 0.3mm, because of heavy pavement, and road construction from 1970’s. New, the possibility of their restoratim and sustenance can be determined from continuous data and program series, which involve recorded history, values, culture, importance of old tree resources and ecological problem etc.
